“When were you going to tell me that you had started to train Kenzi Grey?” The question was asked by Alice has she climbed out of the bed and slipped a shirt on that covered her up. Mackenzie slowly opened her eyes and took a deep breath. “I didn’t think it was that big of a deal honestly.” She sat up in the bed with the blankets covering her, she looked over at Alice and shrugged her shoulders.
“It really isn’t that big of a deal.” Alice looked at her again, she then sat at the foot of the bed and patted Mackenzie’s leg. “I just know how much you dislike her and everything. I just don’t want you to do something that you regret.” Alice took a deep breath and smiled a bit. “I, trust you and all of that, that isn’t the problem I just don’t want anything to happen for you. I care for you.”
Mackenzie smiled as she placed her hand on the hand of Alice. “You don’t need to worry about it. What really happened was that Lucas Dupree wanted someone to watch Kenzi. Kenzi is someone that has so much potential but her mouth is the thing that gets her in trouble.” She takes a long breath and looks at the wall. “I just think that she needs that push to become something, but I guess it is kind of stupid for me to go and train with her. I think part of me wants to see her suffer is that bad?”
Mackenzie put her hands to her mouth. For the first time she actually thought about what she was doing to Kenzi. Alice reached over and grabbed her chin and moved her head so they were looking at each other. For a brief moment there was silence until Alice started to laugh. “Oh…Mackenzie, that is pretty funny. Who cares what you are doing to her. Watching her squirm on social media is funny.” Alice gets up and stretches a bit her shirt almost riding up so you can see her asset but it just falls short of it. “Look, you were put into a position I doubt that you wanted to be in. But you are taking it with stride and you haven’t lost a step. You are in the main event of Validation for a title that you have worked your butt off for worrying about Kenzi shouldn’t be in your mind.”
Mackenzie smiled a little bit as she looked up at her girlfriend. Alice continued as she paced the room. “You have been through a lot as of late. Having a divorce which I kind of think it wouldn’t be easy. Becoming the best champion ever in the company and then losing that title, then meeting me and then taking a huge risk by moving in.” Alice, stops, “Even though you make a huge mess ALL of the time I wouldn’t change it for the world. All you need to do is focus on the match.” She smiles as she looks back at Mackenzie. “By the way have you seen Mr. Carrots?”
Mackenzie shook her head. “How can you go from talking me up to asking about him?” Alice shook her head now. “Because he is my favorite besides you, so where is he?” Mackenzie bit her lip a little bit and looked into the closet that they now shared. One half of the closet was well kept while the other side was a mess. “Well, he wanted to play.” Mackenzie got up and started to walk towards the closet. “I put him in here and now I can’t find him.”
She got to her knees looking in the closet when Alice comes out of nowhere pushing her out of the way. “Mr. Carrots!? Are you in her?” Clothes started to fly in all different directions as Mackenzie was now on her backside watching Alice frantically searching, Mackenzie looks back and underneath the bed there was Mr. Carrots. She slowly crawled over and grabbed him. “Al…” Alice quickly turns around and sees the lost item she gets up and runs over and pushes Mackenzie over as she grabs him. “So glad I found you! Don’t worry I’ll make her pay.”
Alice looked at Mackenzie with a death glare as Mackenzie started to get up. Alice looks over at the camera and starts to push it out the door. “No, no one can see this.” As she closes the door you can hear her say. “Now, as for losing him you have to pay…dearly…”

Mackenzie Roberts sat outside of the apartment that she was now sharing with Alice Quinn. The sun hard started to set so Mackenzie was looking out over the horizon. It was a beautiful night, a night that Mackenzie started to get used to after the darkness that she had started to endure in her life. She reached over and took a drink of water that she had next to her. She sat the cup back down right on the ring that it had left after she had picked it up the first time. She looked at the camera then quickly turned her attention back to the sunset.
Mackenzie Roberts: My moment is getting closer and closer and I am not sure what to think about it. I’m not worried about losing because honestly I have lost everything in my life as of late. So, going into a match that I am not sure what is going to happen isn’t bothering me. I know how good Amy is, and I know what she has done to push this company into the future, and I know that I have a lot of baggage behind me with Kenzi. Me wondering if she is going to cost me this match or whatever. That will always be in the back of my mind because of what Kenzi is and how she will do anything to make my life suck that much more. Also in the back of my mind is that Amy must have planted Kenzi on me knowing that my mind would fall on to her.
She shook her head as she never left looking at the sunset. It seemed like that is what she wanted to do looking into the future and not the past.
Mackenzie Roberts: Now that I have lost the Marquee Title a title that I made famous I have moved on. When I faced Gabby Camacho to name who would go onto this match I didn’t know if I was ready.
It was a hard pill to swallow when I lost the Marquee Title it was something that I had grown accustom to carrying around with me but that is in the past and I cannot look into the past anymore. Now I am here in the main event of Validation and honestly there is something I can do in this match. You see I have already established myself as one of the better wrestlers in this company and no one can take that away from me. I have done a lot of things, I became the best champion that this company has ever seen, I have taken on everyone that has been put in front of me and I have given it my all EVERY SINGLE TIME!
The last three words came out strong from her. Again she kept her focus straight ahead the camera now seemingly seemed like it wasn’t there as she never acknowledged it.
Mackenzie Roberts: I know that in the back of my head that when or if I ever leave this company I know that the doors of the Hall of Fame will be opened for me. You can call it whatever you want.
Cocky.
Confidence.
Or.
Stupid.
The problem is that it will be true. Can anyone come up with a reason why I will not be in the Hall of Fame? Maybe that is a goal I am looking forward to, because I want that goal but also there is a goal at Validation that is much closer and that is beating Amy for her title. I want to be the one that leads this company to new heights. It is pretty simple what I need to do is walk into that ring and look at Amy across the ring and be the wrestler I know that I am.
She reached over and grabbed the water and took a drink of it she then looked at the glass and set it back down.
Mackenzie Roberts: Believe me though I know that this will not be easy.
I know how good Amy is, hell she has to be good because she is on top of this company, she isn’t going to want to lose the title that quickly. She wants to be placed on the top shelf as a great champion and I understand that because I have been there. She is going to want to beat me to solidify what she has been able to do here, by beating me by taking out the best champion ever in this company she can put that as a feather in her cap, but if I beat her she will be just another number.
So in other words who does this match matter for the most?
She smiles as she finally turns to the camera and looks deep into it.
Mackenzie Roberts: On one hand it means a lot to me because like I have stated it will give me another title that I can hold and make mine. It will be yet another thing I can write down as an accomplishment. When I walk into a room people will be like there is the LAW champion Mackenzie Roberts, there is the best WRESTLER EVER in the company right there. That is what I have on the line, I have the ultimate prize on the line and I want to grab it. I have been in this situation before with a chance to win this title and I have lost them, this time I don’t want to lose it obviously because I have worked my butt off for this chance and I want to take it.
As for Amy, she has a lot on the line as well. First she has her title on the line, I have gone through that but she can also beat me and she can prove that she is better than me. That she can be a better champion then I have ever been, she has the back of Kenzi Grey as well. Kenzi wants to see me lose and if she has the chance to watch me lose she will be there. Amy, might not have planted her on me but it makes so much sense that she might have. It bothers me that I will have to watch my back in this match and Amy doesn’t. It bothers me that when I had the match against Gabby Camacho Amy was more worried about her.
Mackenzie stops and then sits down on a chair and looks deep into the camera.
Mackenzie Roberts: This is the last thing I want to say and I hope that Amy is watching this closely. When she went back and forth against Gabby on twitter it was like I wasn’t even there and I had just beaten Gabby, that will be the downfall of Amy, she didn’t think I’d get here. She had her ticket punched for Gabby but I stepped in the way and she didn’t even acknowledge it, now she has to acknowledge me and quite frankly I don’t think she knows what she is in for.
At Validation I have a chance to VALIDATE myself as the BEST wrestler to ever step foot into the LAW ring and I am not taking that lightly, I am fighting Amy tooth and nail and I will be taking her title away from her, and whenever I am introduced now I will be known as the LAW Champion and the future Hall of Famer.
She smirks as she grabs the water and finishes it she then walks into the house and closes the door as the scene fades to black.
