{A black screen. After some time, We get the usual intro, then we get more LAW event highlights, and then Amy Jo Smyth, Amirai Reilley, The Boardwalk Angels, Etsuko, and Sam Tolson holding up their respective titles. We cut from that to a live wide shot of the audience as they cheer wildly as "Fighter" by Christina Aguilera playings We go to Troy, Skye, and Duke, already sitting down.}
{The two women meet up in the center of the ring. Salvatore traps Jensen in a side headlock.Jensen reverse into a wrist lock. Salvatore reverses into a headlock. Jensen fights free, gets Salvatore into another wristlock. Salvatore flips free, reverses, puts the wristlock on Jensen. Salvatore takes Jensen down to the mat with a snapmare and slides into a side headlock. Salvatore goes for a cover and Jensen is up and out. Both women stand, lock up. Jensen gets Salvatore into a waist-lock. Salvatore tries to break free but only manages to get turned around and into a wrist-lock. Jensen turns it hard, slams it, turns it harder. Salvatore swings herself free and another snapmare. Salvatore drops down, catches the waist, and locks up the head again. Jensen forces her off, sends her into the ropes, and when she returns, flips her with a hip toss. Both stand. They charge each other. Jensen hits Salvatore with a shoulder block. Salvatore stands, comes over the ropes, catches Jensen with a hip toss. They’re both up. Jensen catches Salvatore with an armdrag.
Maria Salvatore climbs to her feet in the corner. Jensen charges, hits a big splash, drags her out, and tosses her into the next corner. Maya Jensen charges again to Salvatore. Salvatore slips out of the way, trips Jensen and Jensen hits the top turnbuckle head first. She bounces out. Salvatore hits with bulldog. She goes for the cover, gets a two cunt. Salvatore locks up Jensen in a mean armbreaker from behind, adding the knee to the spine for added effort. Jensen fights free, gets to her feet and counters with a quick DDT. Jensen counters with another rolling pin. Salvatore rotates out, puts Jensen down on her shoulders. Jensen slips out, counters, and gets the three.}
"Stand on the box, stomp your feet, get clapping
Got a real good feelin’ somethin’ bad about to happen"
{The fans burst into cheers from the first verse of “Somethin’ Bad” by Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood, a reaction that only gets louder as Zoey Madigan-Star and Farrah Martell, the Boardwalk Angels, walk out onto the stage. They turn their backs for a moment at the top of the ramp, unstrapping the LAW Tag Team Championships from around their waists and holding them up high, looking over their shoulders toward the ring as “Somethin’ Bad” keeps playing and the fans keep screaming.}
"Pulled up to the church but I got so nervous
Had to back it on up, couldn’t make it to the service
Grabbed all the cash underneath my mattress
Got a real good feelin’ somethin’ bad about to happen
Ran into a girl in a pretty white dress
Rolled down a window, where you heading to next?
Said I’m heading to the bar with my money out of the mattress
Got a real good feelin’ somethin’ bad about to happen"
Troy Franklin: Guys, I can barely hear myself think in this place!
Skye Sparks: I’m sure we aren’t missing much!
Duke King: Always have something snarky to say, eh, Sparks? But even your insults can’t take the shine off the LAW Tag Team Champions!
{Turning as one, the belts laid to rest over their shoulders as they start down the ramp, Zoey and Farrah make their way down to the ring. Though they’ve got smiles on their faces, trading sides once or twice to reach out to the fans, there’s a decided amount of seriousness in the eyes of Zoey Madigan-Star. They ascend to the apron and step between the ropes as one, striding to the center of the ring and reprising their pose from the top of the ramp.}
Beth Harris: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the reigning LAW Tag Team Champions… the BOARDWALK ANGELS!
{Another exultant cheer goes up from the Albuquerque fans before the Angels turn again and lower their titles. Zoey requests and receives the microphone from Beth Harris as Farrah gestures once for the music to be cut. That, however, is her only action as she stands in one corner of the ring, arms folded over the championship title she bears while Zoey remains dead center. One hand on the belt, one holding the stick, the light half of the Boardwalk Angels looks decidedly nervous.}
Troy Franklin: Zoey looks a bit… apprehensive. I wonder why that is? She said that there was something she needed to say tonight, but...
Duke King: Your guess is as good as mine, Troy. One would think that the Angels would be on top of the world right now having beaten Guilty Pleasure in defense of their titles. But something’s definitely on this young lady’s brain.
Skye Sparks: I hope she gets over it fast. She’s holding up the show.
Duke King: You are completely without tact.
Skye Sparks: I prefer to think of myself as expeditious.
Troy Franklin: Enough, you two. Let’s hear what she has to say.
{Taking a deep breath, Zoey lifts the microphone… but has to pause for a moment due to the fans. The smile it brings out shows that she appreciates the gesture, but she does gesture for silence and, after a moment, gets it.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: I’m going to try to get straight to the point here…
Skye Sparks: Hooray for small favors.
Troy Franklin: Skye, that’s more than enough.
{Another pause and a glance toward Farrah, who nods once.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: At Validation, Farrah and I did everything we said we would do since we defeated the Naughty Girls for these LAW Tag Team Championships. We weathered every harsh word Guilty Pleasures threw at us verbally and otherwise, took every beating and cheap shot they dished out… but in the end, we walked INTO Validation and walked OUT of Validation as the undefeated, undisputed LAW Tag Team Champions!
{Her own words get her amped up and the crowd follows suit. A smirking Farrah claps her hands in the background and urges the crowd on.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: From the moment we set foot in this company, we made it clear that we had a problem with Kenzi Grey and my opponent tonight, Kate Steele. We dredged up a lot of past transgressions and laid sins bare for the world to know about. We did this out of loyalty to a family that has meant so much to both of us but whose name is, shall we say, verboten in any arena where LAW puts on their shows...
{This time there’s a mixed reaction from the fans… but two reactions beyond them in particular tell the tale: the silence of the commentary team and the contorted, disgusted reaction from Farrah at the mention of that particular matter. Zoey immediately looks sorry that she brought it up, but it needed to be said.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: ...and let's be real, my friends: things got nasty after that. Kenzi Grey is acerbic on her best day and downright nasty and violently acidic on her worst. But beneath the loud mouth and cheap tactics there IS someone who’s trying to be better. It’s incredibly hard to say that considering all that the four of us have put one another through, but it’s true. You needed to hear that. And so did she.
Skye Sparks: I’ll be damned. She gave credit where it was due. The little magician girl has grown up!
Zoey Madigan-Star: Kenzi and Kate gave us a battle to end all battles at Validation and, for a moment, they nearly walked out with these LAW Tag Team Championships.
{The view cuts to the big screen, showing the portion of the match in question where Kenzi struck Farrah with brass knuckles for a three-count, only for the referee to note the infraction and restart the match. Then it cuts to mere minutes later, where Kate Steele is victimized by not one but two Seeing Stars DDTs en route to a successful title defense for th Angels. Farrah obviously enjoys the sight but Zoey, again, looks conflicted.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: That, though, isn’t what concerns me. You see, ever since I got into wrestling I was determined to hold myself to a certain standard. I never wanted to be one of those people who feels the need to denigrate and belittle their opponents, to manipulate their weaknesses and strip them of integrity and adulation just to get my point across and get that extra edge in the ring. That might work for others. They might be able to sleep at night after tearing someone else down just for the added advantage when they finally clash.
But it’s not for me. Yet I let myself fall into that habit as things progressed with Guilty Pleasure. And I mean no disrespect to Grey or Steele saying this… but I came way too close to turning into everything that I hated about them. I believe at one point I said the wide-eyed little girl who signed with VoW ready to smile her way to the top was gone… and in her place was a woman hardened by experience and tempered by battle. And that sounds pretty, right? We could all use skin that’s a little thicker and enough gumption to say what we mean, what we feel… right?
{The fans are in agreement on this, as is Farrah. Zoey smiles a little, but it doesn’t last.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: That’s not me, though. That’s not what I became. I became one of those mean girls who didn’t care what she said or how she said it so long as those against her felt the barbs as keenly as she. An eye for an eye. That’s not me. It was never meant to be me. Even enemies deserve some consideration and respect. I get how sappy and afterschool special that sounds, but it’s how I feel. If you want to laugh at that, feel free. I probably would.
{Of course, that doesn’t happen… much to Zoey’s relief. It seems to empower her desire to continue.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: It goes a lot deeper than that, but I’m not going to stand here and use all of you as some sort of Angry Anonymous meeting. ‘Hello, my name is Zoey and I’m as cranky as a hippo with a hernia!’
{Almost comically, the arena shouts back “Hi, Zoey!” and causes both Angels to laugh… Zoey doing so to the point of tears almost.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: Ah, you guys are amazing, you know that?
Troy Franklin: I think she needed that, don’t you?
Skye Sparks: Meh. Bored already.
Duke King: You can listen to their detractors or you can listen to the fans in attendance tonight. I choose the latter. The Angels, especially Zoey herself, have earned the praise they receive.
Skye Sparks: You’re President of the Fan Club, aren’t you?
Zoey Madigan-Star: What I WILL say… is that you’re not going to see that Zoey anymore. I don’t need to be hateful to get my point across and I certainly don’t need to fight dirty to remain one-half of the LAW Tag Team Champions! But as much as I’d like to say that our business with Guilty Pleasure is settled? It isn’t. Because tonight, one-on-one, it will be me and Kate Steele in this very ring. And I want you to make sure you hear this, Kate:
{The camera draws in close on Zoey, just where she wants it to be.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: We are done with you. Everything, the whole kit and kaboodle, the whole nine yards worth of strife between our sides from LAW #57 until now? It’s over. Kaput. Finito. Catch my drift? It's time to bury the hatred and look to the future. For ALL of us.
{Anticipation gets the better of the Albuquerque fans and they get riotously loud again.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: After I defeat you tonight, I suggest that you take a step back and get a good long look at where you are and where you want to be. No doubt we’ll meet again in the future, either because of gold or because that’s what Lucas Dupree wants the fans to see… and that’s fine. Bring it on is what we say. But by the time that moment comes to be, I hope that you’ve found the real you… the Kate Steele that’s a multiple-time champion in LAW and that has the respect of the locker room, the office AND the fans. That’s the Kate Steele I want to battle. That’s the kind of respect I want to one day earn.
{Holding up the title once more, Zoey lets a full smile out.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: See you later tonight.
{“Somethin’ Bad” starts up again as Farrah and Zoey pose once more before leaving the ring and heading up the ramp.}
Troy Franklin: And that match is indeed coming up later tonight. I’ll be interested to see if Kate takes Zoey’s words to heart.
Skye Sparks: I don’t think she cares all considered. She’s going to be looking for a fight and if Zoey thinks she’s going to smile her way past Kate Steele she’s gonna end up doing it with broken teeth.
Duke King: At least credit the girl with recognizing her mistakes and trying to improve and show her opponent the same courtesy. Christ, Skye, did you wake up on the wrong side of the gutter or something this morning.
Skye Sparks: I’ll thank you not to fantasize about me in bed, Duke.
{At the sound of the bell, Katalina and Starlight meet up in the centre of the ring while, on the outside, Candi and Jessika each work on a shared routine to cheer on their Mistress. It all equates in the form of some jumping cheers when Kat twists Starlight into an armbar with a few added torques. Soon, with one big torque, Kat manages Starlight down against the canvas and goes then to drop an elbow against her shoulder. However, Starlight rolls out of the way much to Mister J's delight. Starlight gets to her feet bringing Kat up for a couple of DDT's then throws her into the turnbuckle ramming her shoulder into the Naughty Girl's midsection. Candi and Jessika continue to cheer on their Mistress from the outside as Kat falls victim to another Irish whip but counters the next shoulder thrust by moving out of the way. Kat quickly attempts to roll Starlight up with a schoolgirl but only gets a two count.
Kat keeps on the offensive bringing Starlight up by the hair giving her a couple swift toe kicks into the gut followed up by a snapmare and a quick hammerlock. Starlight attempts to reach around and grab something of Katalina's finding nothing from the wily domina but a few strands of hair. It's enough until she can get a handful as the ref steps in to admonish her. It works though as Kat relinquishes the hold and steps back allowing Starlight to come in with a back fist following it up with a spinning kick aside the head. Kat twirls against the ropes as Starlight speeds her way in with a German suplex rolling through bringing Kat up into an immediate octopus stretch locking it in. Kat screams out as her midsection is exposed allowing for Starlight to slap down a few times against the domina's ribs.
At that moment though, Karyn comes down with her eyes locked onto Jessika until she arrives down by her sister grabbing hold of her wrist pulling to take her away. Jessika struggles, however, keeping firmly in place. The two begin to argue as Katie comes rushing down using her momentum to shove Jessika face first against the ring post startling Karyn back. Katie looks down at the unconscious Jessika before looking back in the ring looking to interject herself there but finds herself too late as Katalina has already broken free and countered with an arm drag. Starlight rolls through and turns running as Kat throws herself against her leg rolling her around for a kneebar. Starlight reaches and reaches but finds her efforts in vain as she soon taps out to the pain. Kat releases the hold as Katie rushes in to celebrate with her while Candi checks on Jessika as Karyn, feeling outnumbered, departs.}
{We come back from a commercial break and as we do we are treated to the sight of Carmen Diaz she has a microphone locked tightly in her hands as she begins to speak.}
Carmen Diaz: Hello ladies and gentlemen my guest at this time is a woman who gave it her all at Validation but she ended up coming short when the match had to be stopped. I give to you Crystal Millar.
{Crystal manages to hobble onto the scene and she is on crutches. She sighs as she looks at Carmen.}
Crystal Millar: Thank you so much for the introduction. Yeah to be honest Validation didn’t go the way that I had hoped it to go. I honestly wanted to make history and finally emerge with my very first singles championship in this company but that wasn’t the case as Amirai managed to get the better of me, or should I say my leg went out. I got myself checked out and I was told I sprained my ankle. It’s really rough especially when a star such as myself travels all around the world wrestling and wrestling, but I put my body through a lot and it finally caught up to me.
Carmen Diaz: It really is sad especially after how much you love to put into wrestling, how much you love to go above and beyond to put a show on for the fans. At first people thought you were tyring to gold brick again.
Crystal Millar: Well I learned my lesson… I mean it’s only Karma and it’s been said it can be a bitch at times right?! But now Queen of the Ring is approaching us and there’s only one thing on my mind.
Carmen Diaz: Which would be?!
Crystal Millar: I didn’t like the way the match ended I know Amirai didn’t like the way the match ended so what I am proposing is that at Queen of the Ring we try this again. We go one on one for the benefit of the fans. They deserve to see who is the best among us.
Carmen Diaz: And what makes you think she will want to take that challenge?
Crystal Millar: There’s really nothing I can offer but what I can say is I would be willing to fight her at her own game perhaps her and I in a Submission match.
Carmen Diaz: Submissions?! But isn’t that your downfall especially with the way your leg is right now or should I say your ankle you could be perhaps asking for trouble.
Crystal Millar: It’s a chance I must take but scared money makes no money. That’s what I tell Roxi Johnson every time we play Friday the 13th the game together.
Carmen Diaz: And what ends up happening?!
Crystal Milalr: Damn it you weren’t supposed to ask that! I die okay! I die a lot but that’s besides the point. The point is if Amirai is up for it let’s do this again. Let’s fight again and really have an ending one that we both can live with. That’s all I am asking for.
Carmen Diaz: Well we shall see what she has to say back. Thank you so much Crystal.
Crystal Millar: Thank you Carmen!
{Kayla and Tolson start with a lock-up. Tolson counters out with a kick to Winters’ gut and throws her into the ropes. Winters’ ducks under the clothesline from Tolson. Tolson ducks under the clothesline from Winters. Winters puts Tolson down with a shoulder block then goes into a ground and pound. At the count, Winters lifts Tolson to her feet, throws her into ropes, and sends her flying with a bodyslam. She comes off the ropes and lands on Tolson with a heavy leg. Two count.
Winters drags Tolson to her feet by the hair, kicks her in the gut, and powerbombs her. She rolls up into a schoolboy. Tolson breaks free and crawls out of the way, gets to her feet in the corner. Kayla Winters chases after her, charges into the corner. Tolson moves out of the way. Winters slams into the post shoulder first. Tolson pulls her out, hits her in back with a fist, and slams Winters with a quick German Suplex that bridges into a pin. Kayla Winters throws her whole body out of it at two. Tolson lifts Winters. The women start sparing, exchanging rights and lefts. Tolson takes the upper hand with a straight punch to Winters’ nose and then works into rib shots. That turns into a belly-to-belly suplex and that turns into a double stomp.
Sam Tolson then straddles Winters for the cover. Winters reaches up, punches her in the chin with a European uppercut. Tolson flies backwards. Winters stands, taking Tolson with her, seated on her shoulders. Tolson meets the mat with a powerbomb that rattles the ring. She keeps Sam’s shoulders down and gets the three.}
{The camera finds the exclusive locker room of Sarah Selena Lacklan and Kenzi Grey, known throughout the multiverse as Team Kickass. Why does this duo have an exclusive lockerrom everywhere they go? Because Sarah has KILLER contract lawyers.}
LACKLAN: I’m bored.
{Kenzi looks up from lacing her boots to take in the overwhelming visage of her insanely, over-the-top, mouthwateringly, has-to-be-seen-to-be-believed hot girlfriend.}
KENZI: How can you be bored? You have a match in five minutes.
{Sarah gives Kenzi one of her patented exaggerated eyerolls.}
LACKLAN: That I am going to win in, Like, five seconds! I am already thinking about the future, Beloved. I am going to win that Queen of the Ring tournament despite Mama Bae saying I am a shit wrestler.
KENZI: That isn't what Amy Jo said and you know it. She-
LACKLAN: Know what I want?
{Sarah stands up, her famously red eyes filling with a manic light.}
LACKLAN: I want to show the world just how kickass I am. I want to show the world that there is no stopping the revolution. No stopping the red and black. Hoist the banner! Raise the colors!
{She pauses, her angled and devastatingly beautiful face, her hauntingly beautiful face that would launch, like, a bagillion ships, turns up in thoughtfulness.}
LACKLAN: I would live to give a preview of the tournament next show. Like, me against someone who has already said they would be in it. I wonder if I could con one of those chicks outside LAW to come and get burned?
{Just then the door to the locker room opened and in walked one Maya Jensen, still wearing her in-ring gear from her match earlier tonight. Maya seems to be carrying to bottles of water.}
Maya: Hey, Mizore I got you...
{Maya stops as she suddenly realizes that she was in the wrong locker room.}
Maya: Oh, uh sorry.
{Sarah's eyes go wide at her intruder.}
Lacklan: MAYA! OH MY GOD!
{The little ball of red and black literally skips over to Maya and takes her hands, craning her neck up to meet the taller girl’s eyes.}
Lacklan: You are in the Queen of the Ring Tourney, right?!
{This was a little strange for Maya and as Lackaln brought up her hands she lost her grip on the water bottles as they both dropped to the floor.}
Maya: Well I.. Still need to qualify for it, but yeah I'm planning on entering... Why?
{Sarah's red eyes are filled with mania.}
Lacklan: Fight me at the next show…Beloved, write this down!
{Kenze shrugs her shoulders, because it is 2017 and no one carries around paper and pen besides Sarah herself, as the Firestarter looks up and into the distance at an invisible marquee.}
Lacklan: I can see it now: Preview of the Queen of the Ring tournament...preview of two of All Star’s future champions...Lacklan vs. Jensen.
{She looks back to Maya.}
Lacklan: Will you fight me?
{Maya didn't even seem to need to think about it as a smile spread on her face.}
Maya: Face you? That'd be awesome.
{Sarah emits a sound that only teenagers can understand. A “squeeeee!” She then takes Maya by the arms and shakes her violently.}
Sarah: This is gonna be so awesome!!!!
{Despite technically being a teenager herself, Maya didn't meet the squeee, but she did seem pretty excited. So after a moment Sarah releases her grip on Maya's hands.}
Maya: Well, I need to get going. Gotta tell, Mizore the good news.
{Maya smiled as she bent down and picked up her dropped water bottles then headed for the door.}
Maya: See you in two weeks.
{She said and left the room.}
{As soon as the bell sounded, Courtney and Sarah both rushed each other and began to exchange punches. Courtney began to get the better until Sarah drove a knee into Courtney’s ribs. Sarah continued the attack with clubbing blows to the back. Courtney was down on her knees as Sarah drove a hard knee into her head. Sarah had a manic look on her face and she dove down and started choking Courtney causing the official to count. Sarah looked at the referee and counted along with him as he got to four and Sarah broke. Sarah stood up and started stomping Courtney on the mat before picking her up and tossing her back into the corner, hitting several kicks to the ribs and forcing Courtney to slump down in the corner. Sarah then began to choke Courtney in the corner with her boot, and the ref again had to step in to break it up. Sarah took a step back and then pulled Courtney to her feet, where Courtney broke out of the grasp of Sarah and unloaded with more right hands. Sarah was dazed as Courtney backed her into the ropes and shot her off, connecting with a dropkick that sent Sarah to the mat. Courtney then jumped on Sarah and mounted her and began to hammer away until Sarah scooted out under the bottom rope as Courtney quickly stood up and pulled back on the top rope like she was going to jump over, but Sarah quickly ran out of the way and Courtney turned it into a backflip and landed on her feet in the ring and moonwalked back. Sarah shook her head at ringside as she took the count.
At 9, Sarah rolled in, broke the count, only to roll right back out. The crowd booed the stalling tactics and Courtney then dove through the ropes as Sarah told fans at ringside to shut up, only to be caught with the dive! Courtney then picked up Sarah and pitched her back inside the ring. Courtney slid in as Sarah gets to her knees and ate a basement dropkick for her troubles. Courtney then made the cover, but Sarah threw a shoulder off the mat.
Courtney then waited as Sarah slowly gets up and leapt for a hurricanrana, but Sarah countered and wouldn’t go over. Sarah muscled Courtney back up, but Courtney used that momentum and turned it into a sunset flip! Sarah managed to escape before the three, and stacked up Courtney right away, the official hit one, but Courtney kicked and Sarah was flipped onto her back and pinned again, she rolled over at two, keeping a hold of Courtney’s feet, and bridging into a pin, but Courtney rolled back into the original sunset flip pin and again Sarah kicked out before three! The pinfall attempt frenzy was stopped as Courtney hit the ropes and Sarah dropped down, and as Courtney rebounded, she was taken up and over with a powerslam from Sarah. Sarah quickly grabbed Courtney’s left arm and pulled back, trying to lock in an armbar, but Courtney kicked her feet and makes it to the ropes, forcing a break.
Sarah let go as Courtney sat up, clutching and shaking out her arm as Sarah drove a knee into her spine, and then grabbed her arms while keeping her knee planted in Courtney’s back, and surfboarded them out. The ref asks about the submission, but Courtney refused to give up. Courtney started to gather strength as the crowd stared to stomp and clap and Courtney managed to get a knee and then eventually up to her feet and twisted to break the grip of Sarah, pushing her off into the ropes, and on the rebound, Sarah bowled over Courtney with a shoulder block. Sarah hit the ropes again and Courtney rolled onto her stomach for Sarah to jump over, but Sarah simply hopped over and dropped down, grabs Courtney’s arm again and trying for a Fujiwara armbar! Courtney then squirmed to the ropes and the referee had to break the hold. Sarah waited for Courtney to get up to her knees, and went for the shining wizard, but Courtney ducked and jumped at Sarah, hooking her head and hitting a jumping Tornado DDT! Sarah stumbled up and Courtney hit a jumping forearm to drive Sarah back into the corner. Courtney climbed the middle rope and executed the ten punches with the crowd counting along. A dazed Sarah face-planted out of the corner before Courtney tried for a pin, but Sarah got her foot on the bottom rope.
Courtney when picked up Sarah and went for the Check Ya Later [TKO] but Sarah countered with elbows and landed behind Courtney and pushed her into the ropes. Courtney rebounded and ducked a Sarah clothesline, and zapped Sarah with a superkick! Sarah went down in a heap as Courtney covered, but Sarah barely managed to kick out!
Courtney stood, waiting for Sarah to pull herself up as she came in for another superkick, but Sarah dodged it and went behind Courtney and hit a wheelbarrow facebuster! Sarah wasted no time hitting the ropes, this time connecting with the Shining Wizard and getting the three count.}
{Mackenzie and Etsuko both looked super focused at the match began, with the two locking up and the bigger, stronger Etsuko pushing Mackenzie back into the corner. The referee forced a break, but as soon as he stepped in, Etsuko nailed Mackenzie with a cheap shot. Stunned, Mackenzie is wide open to being chopped across the chest and her upper torso began to turn bright read. Mackenzie then fired back up, tossing Etsuko into the corner and unleashing some chops of her own. Mackenzie attempted the Irish whip across the ring, but Etsuko reversed. Etsuko charged but Mackenzie slipped through the ropes and used both boots to stop Etsuko. Mackenzie then hit a springboard hurricanrana into a pin but Etsuko kicked out at one. Mackenzie hit the ropes and sprung onto and off the second rope with a moonsault, only to be caught by Etsuko. Etsuko then hit a running powerslam and covered Mackenzie, who kicked out before the three.
Etsuko then began to choke Mackenzie on the canvas, breaking at 3 each time and then going right back to it. Nikki had to use the shock collar in order to get Etsuko under control. Mackenzie then got up and hit a standing dropkick that took Etsuko down just as she stood. Etsuko rolled from the ring, only to have Mackenzie hit a baseball slide and send her careening into the barricade!
Mackenzie goes out and tosses Etsuko back into the ring before climbing from the apron to the top rope, and hitting a missile dropkick on Etsuko. She covered Etsuko, but Etsuko kicked out at 2. Etsuko rolled to her stomach and instantly Mackenzie attempted the Queen Bitch Clutch [Camel Clutch] but Etsuko fought her way to the ropes. The referee backed Mackenzie off, as Etsuko pulled herself up. Mackenzie charged but Etsuko lifted her into the air and dropped her throat-first across the top rope, completing the stun gun! Mackenzie clutched her throat gasping for air as Etsuko goes back to choking her again. She broke on 3 and thought about doing it again before Nikki held up the button for the shock collar. Etsuko then pulled Mackenzie up and headbutted her before hitting a snap suplex. Etusko then prepared for the Mitsuzaka bunny hop [Jumping double foot stomp] but Mackenzie moved and Etsuko appeared to roll her ankle. She hobbled around before turning into a Mackenzie spinning heel kick! Etsuko slowly got up in the corner before Mackenzie back driving her shoulder into Etsuko’s ribs. Mackenzie then backed up and charged for a big one but ate an elbow for her troubles, followed but a thrust kick using Etsuko’s good ankle. Etsuko tested and moved her ankle around before deciding it was okay, and then climbed to the top rope backwards, perhaps looking for a moonsault, but Mackenzie was up, on her feet and pushed Etsuko’s leg out from under her and crotched her on the top turnbuckle! Mackenzie climbed up with Etsuko, hooked her and the leapt back off the top rope with a super CrushCrushCrush [Russian Leg Sweep] and covered Etsuko to pick up the victory!}
{The two competitors start out with a test of strength. Steele takes control, knees Madigan in the gut, and slams her into the mat by the head. Steele grabs the foot, puts on an ankle lock, and twists. Madigan grabs the ropes. Steele refuses to release, and keeps wrenching. With the threats of disqualification, Kate finally releases. Madigan climbs upward with the help of the ropes. Kate comes up behind her and uses the rope to choke her. Again, the referee has to threaten disqualification for her to release. Steele pulls Madigan out, hooks the neck, and locks in a choke with her arm. Madigan punches Steel in the ribs, forcing her to release. Madigan springs off the ropes and levels Steele with a clothesline. Kate pops upright. Zoey kicks Steele in the gut and plants her with a swinging neckbreaker.
She hooks the leg, gets a two count before Kate throws her shoulder up. Madigan lifts Steele up, sends into the ropes, and ducks down. Kate returns, hooks Zoey’s neck, and hits a DDT. Kate goes for the cover but Zoey kicks out at two. Kate stays down and latches on another choke, this time a crossface. Madigan fights back with fists to Steele’s arms and tries to pull them off. Madigan climbs to her knees, then to her feet, taking Steele with her. Madigan spins around, breaks the hold, and slams Steele into the turnbuckle to release her. Kate falls down into the corner. Madigan hits a baseball slide to Steele’s inner thigh area, quickly stands, and drives her knee into Kate's face. Then again and another. Another.
Zoey Madigan-Star pulls Kate Steele out of the corner, drags her to the center of the ring, and let’s Kate fall to her knee. That’s when she puts her down head first with Seeing Stars. Madigan drops down and goes for the cover. She gets the three.}
