The Queen of the Ring tournament is finally here, everything I have worked for since the age of fourteen all comes down to this, the Queen of the Ring. It’s time for me to take everything I have learned over the last fourteen years and put it into this tournament, it’s the only way that I’m going to be able to walk out as the winner and the number one contender for the LAW World Championship.
I know it’s not going to be easy, far from it, every single woman in this tournament is highly skilled and very talented in the ring. But I’m confident in my own abilities, I believe in myself enough to know that if I give it my all, I can accomplish anything I set my mind too, it’s what my Dad taught me all the time.
And I believe I can become a World Champion!
I’m here in one of the training rings here in my Dad’s gym, facing off against one of the other students. We’ve been going at it for a good fifteen minutes now and I’ve worn her down enough for me to strike with a superkick which sends her crashing to the floor in a heap, I quickly make the cover and get the three count as applause echoes through the room and I look over to my Dad who has a huge smile on his face.
“Well done both of you! Great match! Now shake hands and take a break…”
I offer my hand to the other student and she accepts it as I help her up to her feet and we shake before we both exit the ring and I head over to the bench that has my duffel bag on it.
“Stacy?”
Taking a bottle of water from my bag, I turn around to see Dad making his way over to me, twisting the cap off the bottle, I take a few swigs of the clear liquid, allowing it to quench my thirst before replacing the top on it.
“What’s up, Dad?”
“Now, Stacy…what did I tell you to call me when you’re here training?”
“Sorry, Mr. Jones.”
He nods and smiles.
“That’s better. Now, I wanted to talk to you about a huge opportunity that I think you deserve. Ever since you started training here a few months back, I’ve been amazed at how quickly you’ve picked everything up and I truly believe you’ll end up becoming a huge star in this industry one day.”
Grabbing a towel, I scoff as I wipe the sweat from my face, chest and arms.
“You’re just saying that because I’m your daughter…”
“No, honey…I’m being deadly serious. Which brings me to this opportunity, there’s a really great wrestling school in Manhattan where many big time professional wrestlers have graduated from. They have a bigger, better training gym…much better equipment and world class trainers. I strongly recommend that you go there and show them what you’ve got and I guarantee you’ll become a star in no time.”
I place my hands on my hips and my mood drops slightly.
“So…you won’t be training me anymore?”
“Honey, you’re too good to have a trainer like me. If you go to this place, the trainers there are much better. They’ve had way more success than I ever had…”
“But I like training with you. I like spending time with you, Dad…plus…I’ve heard about big-time professional wrestlers not having the best of the best at their disposal such as trainers and equipment and have still made it big in the business.”
Pausing for a moment, he looks a little dejected so I take hold of his hand and look into his eyes.
“I truly appreciate the offer…but it’s thanks to you that I’m here in the first place and…I want you to continue training me. I don’t care if it takes longer for me to make it professionally under your tutelage than it would if I go to Manhattan and get trained by someone better. Because I’m happy here…training with you.”
A soft smile grows on his lips as he pulls me in for a hug, albeit a sweaty one.
“I love you, my sweet Glampire. I’ll make you a deal then, if you want to stay here and train with me, I’ll contact some wrestling companies and send them tapes to see if anyone will hire you.”
I break away from the embrace, my eyes wide and my jaw almost hits the floor.
“Seriously?!?! You’d do that for me?!?!”
“Of course!”
Now it’s my turn to give him a hug as I lunge into his arms and squeeze him tight.
“I love you, Daddy! You’re the best!”
He chuckles before giving me a kiss on the forehead as he breaks away from the embrace.
“Okay, break times over…time to get back into that ring and do some more training, young lady!”
“Yes, Mr. Jones.”
I smile before we both head back over to the training ring and hopping up onto the apron, my Dad instructs another student to get into the ring to face me in my next practice match.
I’ve always wondered how different things may have been had I accepted that opportunity to go to Manhattan and train under better circumstances. Many people would probably say that it was a stupid idea, that had I done it, I would have become professional a lot sooner and would already be a World Champion by now.
Maybe they were right, maybe that could have been the case, but I know for a fact that had I gone there, I probably wouldn’t have learned how to respect the business as much. I probably wouldn’t have learned that the only way you deserve success if you truly work as hard as you possibly can to achieve that success.
So as far as I’m concerned? I made the right choice sticking with my Dad…

There’s an old saying that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas and it’s in this place, The Entertainment Capital Of The World where the Queen of the Ring tournament will be held. But I guarantee that when I, “Unbreakable” Stacy Jones walks out as the winner of this tournament, that it won’t just be staying in Vegas, oh no, the entire world will know about it!
I’m ready for this. This is my time to show the world exactly who I am and what I am capable of! It doesn’t matter who stands across the ring from me, they will be the ones looking up at the lights while my arm is raised in victory!
I guarantee it!
The camera flickers to life as I’m sitting here in the lounge of my home here in Orlando, Florida, dressed in a pair of black leather high heeled boots, a pair of black skin tight leather trousers, a black Metallica Club T-shirt and my custom black leather jacket.
I get the thumbs up from Jen who is off camera, letting me know that it’s recording as I look into the lens with a smile on my face.
“What’s up LAW fans, it’s “Unbreakable” Stacy Jones here and the time has finally arrived! Queen of the Ring 2017 is finally upon us and I cannot wait to get stuck in!”
Picking up a glass of water off the table in front of me, I take a sip before setting it back down.
“Now, at LAW #67, I said that I was going to send a message to six of the seven competitors also competing in this tournament when we all did battle in an over the top rope battle royal! And well…I did exactly that when I ended up being the last woman standing in that ring!”
I stroke my hands through my long black hair and smirk.
“Of course, after winning that…a lot of people will be saying that I’ve got the momentum leading up to this tournament, and whether that’s true or not doesn’t matter because I know all too well that a single elimination knock-out tournament is completely different to an over the top rope battle royal!”
Lightly scratching my cheek, I nod a little.
“This time, I’m going to have to pin my opponent for a three count or force them to submit. And not only that, but if I make it all the way to the finals then I’ll be competing in three matches in one night! So this is much different to a seven woman battle royal!”
I take another drink of water before turning my attention back to the camera.
“This tournament is definitely not for the weak. Not only do you have to train physically for it…but you have to train for it mentally too. If you don’t have the physical strength and capacity to potentially have three matches in one night? You’re screwed! If you don’t have the mental strength and capacity to deal with having three matches in one night? You’re screwed! And that’s why I’ve been training harder than I have ever trained in my entire life because I know that this tournament is going to a long, taxing, gruelling affair and I’ll be damned if I’m not going to make sure I’m ready for it!”
Smirking again, I take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.
“As expected in a tournament such as this, my first round opponent is certainly no slouch. La Estrella? We’ve teamed together and we’ve also faced each other too, you were the final woman that I eliminated from the battle royal at Law #67 and it was truly and honor and a privilege to both team with and you and face you. You’re a fantastic athlete, I love your style, I always have loved the Lucha Libre style as it was what got me interested in wrestling to begin with.”
I lean forward, resting my arms on my thighs.
“You know how much I respect you, Estrella…and you have shown me that same respect and I am truly grateful for that. Like me, you fight with honor and you are the epitome of what a wrestler should be like in terms of your mentality towards it. You work hard to accomplish your goals, and that’s why I respect you so much…and it’s also why I will once again be honored to step into the ring with you once again on Sunday. But mark my words, when we step in between those ropes and that bell rings, I’ll be coming at you like a woman possessed! I’ll be coming at you like a woman Hell bent on becoming Queen of the Ring and there will be nothing you can do about it! Every time you knock me down, I’ll get right back up! Every time you pin me, I’ll kick out! Every time you lock me into a submission, I will escape! Nobody is going to take this away from me, not even you…and just like I did to you at LAW #67 and just like Crystal Millar did last year…you’ll be eliminated from this tournament!”
Closing my eyes, I roll my neck from left to right before reopening my eyes, my focus still on the camera.
“As for the rest of you ladies involved in this? Kate Steele, Sarah Lacklan, Katalina Starr, Kenzi Grey, Gabby Camacho and Abby Addiction? I’ll get to you all another time, but make no mistake about it…you’re looking at the Queen of the Ring 2017 right here!”
I point to myself, a look of pure determination on my face.
“First up, it’s Estrella, and then either Kate or Sarah and then after that either Gabby, Abby, Kenzi or Kat. It doesn’t matter who because on Sunday, whoever ends up standing across the ring from me, you will suffer my Judgement! Your Final Penance…is coming!”
And with that, Jen ends the recording and switches the camera off causing the screen to fade to black.
If the Battle Royal showed anything, it showed how focused I am on winning this tournament. I proved that I am a major threat in this tournament and if anyone else involved in it underestimates me or doesn’t believe I have what it takes then they’re either stupid or ignorant.
I’m more than ready for this! I’m going to win this tournament and then no matter who the World Champion is, whether it’s Amy Jo Smyth or Mackenzie Roberts, I’m going to become the next LAW World Heavyweight Champion!
Nobody is going to stop me!
