A quick OOC note before I get into this story arc. It has been a great deal of fun and aggravation playing this character…and I love it! I always wanted to take a character from being nothing and build them up to being…whatever it is that she’s gonna be. I was never able to do that before because I would honestly get very bored doing the same thing over and over. Kenzi has been a joy because she evolves and changes, she embodies all of the best and worst parts of all the characters I have ever played. To that end, I’m flipping the script once again as she embarks on a journey of self-discovery through Scientology! Personal feelings aside, given Kenzi’s (un)chosen profession and her new friendships, this next step makes a lot of sense and frankly will be a ton of fun for me because I love switching gears.
For those of you who regularly interact with her on social media, hopefully you will or have already seen a marked change in her personality. I am not extolling the merits of this faith, but I am using it to add another layer to the most complex character that I have ever played. Feel free to interact with her over Twitter (good or bad) and also feel free to interact with her here as well. Whether you are trying to ‘save’ her or smash her, it will be fun no matter what.
That being said…let’s get into this…
“ROXY COTTON IS A FUCKING BITCH!”
It was not only Kenzi’s mantra leading up to the failed launch of Lioness Pro Wrestling, but a view shared by pretty much everyone that met her. The buxom blonde was the embodiment of evil to most everyone she encountered…but in Kenzi’s case…the woman was absolutely fascinating! She got under the skin of everyone she met, yet it never seemed to phase her in the least. She lived her life out loud without a thought to who might have a problem with her or how it would affect her personally or professionally. The slings and barbs of the people that hated her did not seem to bother her…in fact, it rolled off her back like water as she moved forward without so much as a backwards glance.
Kenzi’s life was not like that. She lived with her heart on her sleeve. Every sling and every arrow stung her keenly. She was something akin to an open wound that everyone seemed to delight in picking at just to get an explosive reaction from her. She hated the fact that she was so easily rattled…that she was so easily manipulated.
Her relationship with Sarah Selena Lacklan had been heaven-sent. There were no agendas, false pretenses, or manipulation. She loved Kenzi just the way she was…broken pieces and all. Her red eyed Queen had showed her what the power of real love could do for a person. It had made her strong in ways she never thought she could be…but it had also magnified other weaknesses she had hoped to overcome…
…especially her intense jealousy…
It had infected Kenzi like a constant itch that would never go away. Falling in love with Sarah had only made the scratching worse. For all the love they shared, the fact of the matter was that Sarah was a larger than life character who flirted and flaunted herself mercilessly to the masses. Making things worse, the notches on her bedpost had weakened the structural integrity of the frame to the point of critical failure. Kenzi hated it…and she loved it. It had been the one and only problem between them…but Kenzi saw it as her own problem, because Sarah was going to be Sarah; she had fallen for her just as she was and to ask her to change would be to make her into something she was not. So, Kenzi needed to find a way to fix the things about herself that threatened her personal and professional relationship…and she found that answer in Roxy Cotton’s personal faith…Scientology.
When Roxy suggested it, she thought it was some kind of joke, but the more she read, the more engrossed she had become. Kenzi never did things in half-measures, so once it grabbed her attention, she was 100% into it. She read every brochure and book that Roxy gave her…she digested them at a feverish pace…the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Before long, she was applying the tenants to her everyday life and she could feel a change working with in her. It wasn’t overnight…but it was something…and in her mind it was actually helping…kinda…

Kenzi was engrossed in her reading of the latest suggestions by Roxy Cotton. When she should have been mentally preparing for her match in Empire Pro, she was boning up on the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard. The match had huge implications for her, but her attention was elsewhere at the moment and there was very little that was going to distract her from what she was doing, even a text message from Sarah…a playful threat.
Sarah silently sets down her phone and stalks across the ‘Candain’ hotel room, sneaking up behind Kenzi. Her fiancé was once again dividing her attention between being dumb online and reading her new books, and was completely unaware. Sarah slips into their velvet bag and removes a pair of handcuffs, enjoying the weight of the cold steel. She sneaks behind Kenzi and, with a sudden burst of speed, wraps her arm around her waist from behind and clamps her hand over her mouth. "...not afraid?" She makes sure that the whisper in her ear is full of warm breath and a touch of malice.
Kenzi has to stop what she's doing as she responds, the hand over her mouth muffling her response. "Mmmhmhmmmgn!"
Sarah holds the handcuffs up in front of Kenzi's face, letting them sway and jingle. "Sometimes, I think you need to be reminded of things." She quickly pulls Kenzi's arms behind the chair and locks the cuffs in place. Sarah then walks in front of Kenzi and straddles her, looking down at her with a smug expression. "Just imagine what I could do to you right now." She touches Kenzi's neck, caressing the marks put there just the day before in their ‘romp’ inside the store changing room. "Want more?"
Kenzi is annoyed at the distraction, but not the distractor. "What if I say no?" She teases, opening her legs, then crossing them seductively.
Sarah's eyes dip to Kenzi's legs as they move, filling with heat, but she turns them back to Kenzi's face. "That just makes it taste better." She presses her full weight on Kenzi to pin down her legs and not allow herself to be deterred and leans to her neck. She sniffs loudly, breathing in her lover's scent, and nuzzles her neck with her nose. She lightly licks her neck and shudders at the sudden taste of Kenzi, the taste that had driven her wild since the very first bite. "...do you want me to?" She runs her hands down Kenzi's arms, ending at the cuffs binding her in place, and giggles. "...I bet I can get you to scream my name..."
"Pfffft! You think you got that good head game? Please! Do whatever you want...it ain't gonna affect me!" Kenzi tried to turn her head away. It was the only thing not held in place.
Sarah's eyes narrow in anger at the dismissal. A growl rises in her throat as Kenzi turns her head and ‘conveniently’ gives her an even larger target. Sarah starts softly, with licks and kisses, enjoying the warmth and softness of her lover's neck. She could feel her pulse, could feel the blood beating right under her lips. But her hunger does not allow her to stay soft long. Soon kisses turn to nibbles and nibbles turn to bites and sucks. Her hands leave Kenzi's arms and find their way pushing down her shirt. Sarah moans as much as growls as she bites all around Kenzi's neck, from collarbone to chin and to the other side. She roughly pushes Kenzi's head the other direction to attack the other side to repeat the pattern, licks and kisses to wet, and then teeth to bite and leave marks.
Kenzi squeezed her legs together to contain herself under the assault. Sarah’s touch was electric and always got her charged up. She was on the verge of overload already. "Baby...Baby...?" Sarah paused. "Have you heard the good news about the Church of Scientology?" She nearly burst out laughing as she saw the look on Sarah's face.
Sarah's eyes flare. "If you aren't in the mood, then just say so." Sarah quickly climbs off Kenzi and unlocks the cuffs with the key she had started to wear around her neck. "My apologies for distracting you."
Kenzi sighs after seeing her joke blow up in her face. She frowns, as she looks after Sarah. "It was a joke! I thought you'd find it funny. So, I'm sorry."
Sarah's eyes fall to the books she had ‘accidentally’ knocked to the ground in her haste to enjoy her lover. "I suppose I do not have much humor for some things." She shrugs, still looking down. "We cannot be in sync at all times."
Kenzi got up and hugged Sarah from behind. Kissing her behind her ear. "We were syncing...that chair will have to be reupholstered! Honey, I told you...I would never refuse you. I love you. I thought the game was to work you up...to make you try hard...make you go hard." She sighed, her eyes on her fallen books. "I won't joke about the religious stuff...I'm sorry."
She holds her hands and gives them a squeeze. "It's okay."
"It's not okay!" She spins her around and kisses her affectionately. "If you want..." She takes Sarah's hand and puts her fingers in her mouth, giving them a good tongue lashing before pulling them out with a ‘pop’ and a seductive look. "..I want!"
Sarah gives get an appreciative smile and caresses her cheek with her free hand. "I love you, Ken. But the mood has passed." She offers a giggle. "Besides, we have a new arena to fight in tonight and maybe we can try again there, our Article Number 8 should be suitably epic!"
Kenzi nods, trying not to let her disappointment show as she put on a forced smile. "Absolutely..." She'd joked before during intimate moments, but this time the reaction was more pointed. It was obvious that Sarah didn't care for her new obsession, but...after she realized the positive changes in her, she'd be thankful. Hell, she might even join in! "...I can't wait for that Selena."
