{A black screen. After some time, We get the usual intro, then we get highlights of Validation, which is on demand. We get more LAW event highlights, and then Violet, EMF and Kate Steele holding up their respective titles. We cut from that to a live wide shot of the audience as they cheer wildly as "Fighter" by Christina Aguilera playings We go to Troy and Duke, already sitting down.}
Troy Franklin: Hello everyone and welcome to LAW #9! We're here in Grand Rapids, Michigan! And while we have an action packed show, we do have to lead off, with some sad news Duke.
Duke King:That's correct Troy. Sadly, We now have a vacant championship here in LAW. Lucas Dupree is on hand, and he's going to inform everyone of the future of the now vacant Marquee title.
{The camera panned around the arena as the fans screamed and cheered. High above the ring, a massive billboard hung draped by a velvet-covered cloth. The camera panned back down to the announce position, focusing on Troy Franklin and Duke King.}
Troy Franklin: As you can see, hanging high overhead we have a special treat for our LAW fans tonight!
Duke King: That’s right Troy! Tonight we are going to have the official unveiling of this months cover of S.I. which features none other than our newest member, Sidney Grey!
Troy Franklin: I am sure that this is going to be great! Great exposure for LAW and certainly great exposure for Grey who made quite an impression last week with a very impressive win over Angel Kash. A win that some say may not have been on the up and up.
Duke King: I heard the rumors Troy and I must admit, I find it odd that Angel was released so quickly following that match, under the guise of “not meeting her contractual obligations”. That’s another reason that I am so looking forward to Sidney’s match tonight with Cynthia Warren…a mainstay here in LAW.
Troy Franklin: That will certainly be quite a test for Ms. Grey and I think that after tonight, we will know exactly what she is made of inside that squared circle!
{Duke nodded, then paused as he got a message through his headset.}
Duke King: Well Troy, we are all certainly hoping to find out what Sidney is made of tonight, but I am getting word that she still hasn’t made it to the arena. She may actually be a no-show.
Troy Franklin:Well, as the old saying goes, the show must go on! Tonight, we have 5 huge matches, and we're going to see three debuts, when originally we only had two!
Duke King: Absolutely, Gabriella Camacho, and Ash Scion are going to debut tonight, but in addition, Summer St. Clair will ALSO debut, so we're showcasing all kinds of talent!
Troy Franklin:Plus, Sidney Grey locks up with Cynthia Warren, Keira Fisher will face off with Crystal Hilton! and The Doc looks to continue her incredible run, but she has a tall task ahead of her in Zelda Knite!
Duke King: It's going to be a great night!
Troy Franklin: Let's go the ring, where Lucas Dupree is about to address the audience.
{"Stronger" by Kanye West is playing as Lucas Dupree makes his way to the ring, slapping some fan hands and whatnot, before climbing the steps and entering the ring. He takes the microphone from Beth Harris as his music cuts out.}
Lucas Dupree:Hello everyone. Now, before we get to all the action tonight, I'm afraid that I have to report some bad news.
{Boos.}
Lucas Dupree:Last week, Violet suffered a concussion. A concussion which will keep Violet out of action indefinitely.
{More boos.}
Lucas Dupree: With no firm timetable for Violet's return, she will miss her scheduled Marquee title defense coming up in July. So, LAW management has no choice but to strip Violet of the title.
{Boos.}
Lucas Dupree: So tonight, I'm here to let you know about the future of The Marquee championship. As many of you heard, there will be a mini tournament featuring 8 LAW wrestlers, that will compete at LAW #10 in 4 singles matches. The winners will move on to LAW #11, where we will crown a new Marquee champion in a Fatal Four-way elimination match!
{Cheers for the announcement.}
Lucas Dupree: So, the 8 women who will compete will be as follows: Sidney Grey.
{Boos.}
Lucas Dupree:Gabriella Camacho.
{Ceers.}
Lucas Dupree: Summer St. Clair
{Boos.}
Lucas Dupree:Pricilla Price
{Boos.}
Lucas Dupree: Keira Fisher
{cheers}
Lucas Dupree:Crystal Hilton
{Boos}
Lucas Dupree: Ash Scion
{cheers}
Lucas Dupree: And Skye Sparks!
{Cheers}
Lucas Dupree:So, Good luck to there 8 women. And I have no doubt, we will have an amazing, and well deserved, NEW Marquee champion! Enjoy the action here tonight Grand Rapids!
{There are cheers as "Stronger plays again and Lucas exits the ring. We cut back to Troy and Duke.}
Troy Franklin:That's a golden opportunity for 8 women, a lot of them newcomers.
Duke King:But only 1 can win, they can first have to win a singles match, and then a fatal four way elimination match.
Troy Franklin: It's going to be a huge next two events. Stay tuned folks, we'll be right back with the start of tonight's action.
{A light show begins near the entrance curtain, with yellow, blue, red and orange spotlights swirling around in a dizzying pattern. As the initial reverb-heavy vocals of 'Blow' begin, the focus spotlight stops dead in the centre, in time for Summer St. Clair to step into it as the electronic beat begins. Followed closely by publicist and associate Bambi Huntington, the blonde then swaggers down the ramp, royally ignoring the lovestruck fanboys on either side of her. She motions for the cameraman to keep the focus on her as she poses against the ring ropes, then on top of the ring ropes, then midway into the ring...you get the idea. When she finally steps onto the canvas, she spends the precious seconds before the bell not limbering up, but rather yelling at Bambi, for offences real or imagined. Only with the sound of the actual bell does she deign to give the referee and her opponent her attention.}
Troy Franklin: Summer St. Clair is a newcomer here to LAW, but there is already a rumbling about her going on amongst the people I talk to.
Duke King: There’s always a rumbling when someone new shows up. But this Summer seems like she’s got a lot to offer LAW.
{As 'I Love It' blares through the arena, Ash Scion emerges and makes her way down the ramp, as serious as a heart attack. She does not acknowledge the fans at all, her focus laser sharp on the ring itself.}
Troy Franklin: And here comes Ash Scion! She’s obviously no nonsense and looking to make her debut a successful one as well.
{The bell sounds as Ash goes to lock up with Summer, but Summer backs away. Ash holds her arms out, a little miffed. Ash goes in again, but Summer boosts herself on the top rope, and then as Ash moves in again, Summer hops off the ropes and onto the apron. The referee has to move Ash back physically this time. Summer stands on the apron, and begins to mess with her hair, with Bambi lauding her good looks and complimenting her. This makes Ash visibly angry that she is not in the ring. The ref again moves Ash back, allowing Summer to finally re-enter the ring. Ash this time moves the ref out of the way and charges, but Summer side-steps Ash and Ash goes careening through the ropes, and lands hand on the floor!}
Troy Franklin: Ow! Rough landing for Ash Scion right there!
Duke King: Summer just took advantage of Ash being a hot-head right there.
{Summer goes outside where Ash is clutching her back in pain. Summer stomps the back of Ash as Ash uses the steps to get back up. Summer grabs her by the hair, and pulls here away from the ring up the ramp, then whips her back first into the apron. Ash clutches her back in even more pain. Summer again grabs Ash by the hair and slams her head off the apron before rolling back in and out to break the official’s ten count. Summer grabs Ash and throws her back in the ring before following her in herself. Summer mounts Ash and begins a series of punches. The ref uses his count and forces Summer to break as Ash’s foot is on the ropes. Summer gets in his face and puts the bad mouth on him, before moving back over to Ash, who manages to fire a quick elbow to the gut to stun Summer. Summer however drives a knee into Ash’s gut to keep her stunned, Before hooking Ash’s head and connecting with a running bulldog. Summer makes the cover, not hooking a leg 1….2... kickout by Ash. }
Troy Franklin: A near fall early in this match-up.
Duke King: Summer made a lazy cover there, she’d better start hooking the leg if she wants to beat Ash Scion.
{Summer questions the count, but the ref displays two fingers to her, telling her it was only a two. Ash is leaning against the ropes trying to get back up, but this allows Bambi on the outside to begin choking Ash against the ropes! The fans make noise as Bambi finishes and moves away without being caught.}
Troy Franklin: Oh come on! It’s 2 on 1 here!
Duke King: Maybe Ash should have gotten herself a manager.
Troy Franklin: That’s ridiculous.
{Ash struggles to breathe as Summer moves back in and again Ash is choked against the ropes. The ref counts and on 4 Summer breaks. Summer pulls Ash to her feet and delivers a well-executed back breaker, before floating into the cover 1…2…Ash rolls the shoulder. Summer gets up and parades around the ring, drawing boos, but at the same time, she keeps Ash down every so often stomping her. Ash rolls to her stomach, and Summer pounces, locking in a modified Camel clutch, not hooking Ash’s arms while applying the move.}
Troy Franklin: Camel Clutch applied, keeping more pressure on the back of Ash.
Duke King: But it’s not applied to it’s full potential here, Ash’s arms are free, which is enabling her to get some leverage and alleviate some of the pressure of this hold.
{Indeed Duke is correct as Ash refuses to submit. Summer continues to pull back on Ash’s head, while Bambi is on the outside yelling into the ring for Ash to give up. Ash pounds her fist into the mat, and uses her hands to push up a little, allowing her to get her legs underneath her. Once on her knees, Ash tries to get up, and rolls forward, forcing Summer off of her. Summer looks embarrassed, and turns to get on Ash, but Ash is ready and connects with a high leg lariat!}
Troy Franklin: And Ash Scion scores!
Duke King: She’s not out of this fight yet!
{Summer is stunned as Ash gets back to her feet. Summer get up and turns to meet Ash, and is met with a forearm to the face, then another. Summer stumbles back, and goes for a clothesline, but Ash ducks. Ash connects with a leg kick, a body kick, and then a leg sweep to drop Summer, and hits the ropes as Summer sits up and connects with the sliding Bakatare Sliding Kick! The crowd “Oohs” as Ash’s foot connects and makes a loud smacking sound. Summer goes down and Ash makes the cover 1….2… Summer rolls her shoulder.}
Troy Franklin: And now Ash is on a roll.
{Summer crawls to the corner, and Ash moves in as Summer stands and connects with a flurry of forearm shots, before backing up, getting a running start and connecting with a high knee in the corner! Summer stumbles out of the corner, and Ash goes to the corner and grabs the top rope, and as Summer turns around, Ash is already flying through the air with a springboard moonsault! Ash stays on top for the cover! 1……2….Summer is just able to get her foot on the rope. }
Troy Franklin: So close there!
Duke King: Summer is so tall that she can reach those ropes if she’s anywhere near them.
{Ash is undaunted, moving back in, but is stopped by a rake of the face by Summer. Summer pushes Ash into the corner, and Summer charges, but Ash gets a knee up. Summer stumbles, but as Ash climbs the ropes again, Summer grabs her ankle and whips her off the middle rope! Ash lands hard on the back of her head! Summer dives into the cover 1….2…Ash kicks out! Summer gets up, pretty angry, and leans against the ropes. She yells for Ash to get up, and Ash slowly begins to get up. Summer measures her, and goes in for the Heatstroke [Axe kick] but Ash moves back and as Summer’s foot touches the mat, she goes for the ride with a nasty German suplex from Ash! Ash keeps the bridge! 1…..2….3NO! Summer rolls away!}
Troy Franklin: These two are lighting it up right now!
Duke King: So much back and forth action!
{Ash questions the count herself this time. As Summer rolls around clutching her neck. Ash measures Summer and hits the ropes, but it tripped by Bambi on the outside. Summer had called the ref over, complaining about her neck, so he saw nothing. Ash however, turns around and finally nails Bambi with a rope assisted dropkick that sends Bambi down! }
Troy Franklin: This is ridiculous! Blatant interference from the outside! And Bambi paid for it!
Duke King: Too bad Troy. Summer and Bambi are a team.
{Summer gets back to her feet, and knees Ash in the back. Grabbing a hold of Ash’s hair, Summer readies for the Beauty Treatment [Sitout Facebuster] but as she goes to jump, Ash spins out and knees Summer in the gut! Ash hooks the arm of Summer, steps over and drives Summer face-first into the ground with the Let it Burn [Arm-trap Forward DDT] Ash rolls Summer over and makes the cover 1…..2…..3!}
Troy Franklin: And Ash Scion picks up the hard fought victory!
Duke King: I have to give her credit, she overcame the odds her tonight.
{“I don’t care” plays again as Ash stands, still clutching the back of her head from earlier in the match. Her arm is raised by the referee as she smiles briefly before dropping down and rolling out of the ring headed back up the ramp.}
{Maleek Raheem, Sidney Grey’s Business Manager, paced the backstage area as he checked his watch and swore under his breath. He stared at the entrance to the ladies locker room, trying to see inside every time the door opened.}
Maleek Raheem: Where in the hell is she?!!
{Feeling a tap on his shoulder, he turned around and found himself standing next to the lovely Carmen Diaz. Despite his frustration, a coy smile touched the corners of his mouth. He leaned back against the wall, licking his lips as he looked her up and down.}
Carmen Diaz: Mr. Raheem, do you have a moment to talk about your client, Sidney Grey?
Maleek Raheem: Carmen Diaz…a brotha got all day to holler at you!
{She gave a polite, if uncomfortable smile.}
Carmen Diaz: Yes…well…I know that Ms. Grey is of the opinion that I disrespected her when I called her an “older lady wrestler” but I wanted to go on record again and apologize for any offense I may have caused. I really meant no disrespect and I’d like everyone to hear me say it again.
{Raheem chuckled.}
Maleek Raheem: I wouldn’t bother wit it, you called a spade a spade! Sid is old! Her original theme song was th’ sound of th’ Big Bang!
{Carmen didn’t want to laugh, but she nodded and moved on.}
Carmen Diaz: I see that you are out here waiting. Do you have any information on Sidney’s whereabouts?
Maleek Raheem: Don’t know…don’t care! I aint waitin’ on her! I do know this though, Sid craves the spotlight, so I know for a damn fact that she aint gonna miss a chance to be seen on TV…unless she’s dead! In which case, everyone wins!
{Carmen began to ask another question, but Raheem waved her away as he saw Cynthia Warren walking into the locker room.}
Maleek Raheem: CINDY!! HOLD UP!! Let me holler at you for a minute!!
{Cynthia looked at Raheem, rolling her eyes as she breezed by and headed into the locker room, slamming the door in his face.}
Maleek Raheem: CINDY?!! YO!! CYNTHIA!!
{Raheem stood there for a moment, then turned around with a look of frustration on his face.}
Carmen Diaz: That is Sidney’s opponent for tonight. Do you mind if I ask you why you’re trying to speak with her before the match?
{Raheem stared at her, then leaned in close.}
Maleek Raheem: Yes…you can ask…
{He knocked the microphone away and started walking off, ignoring any question she might have asked. As he was walking away, he brushed past one of the newest additions to the LAW roster, “The Paramour” Priscilla Price. He slowed his pace and turned and stared at her as she walked past. He stroked his chin for a moment, eyeing her greedily, then sighed as he called out after her.}
Maleek Raheem: WELCOME TO LAW, BABY GIRL!
{He watched her until she rounded the corner. As he stood there thinking he nodded slowly to himself, then looked back at Carmen and chuckled as he walked off.}
{The lights in the arena begin to dim, before a strobe light flashes, quickly changing through multiple, bright and dazzling colors. The stadium suddenly appears as if it's transformed into a night club, as a steady trance beats flows through the speakers. "Siren" by Kat Krazy, featuring Elkka plays over the PA System as words appear on the screen in brilliant, shimmering gold -- "It's not personal... it's just business." These fade out, replaced by another phrase in sparkling silver -- "I ALWAYS get what I want!!"}
{The fans are already showing their hate as the lyrics slowly come through--}
"Beneath the stars, face to face, I told ya I love ya, won't let your heart break.
I'll run to the moon and walk on the sea, I'll start a new world for you and me...
And I'll save ya when the sky falls... Can you hear the siren call?
So together we can break down the walls... Can you hear the siren call?
"Now I'm everywhere. You know that I'll never let you go.
'Cause I'll save ya when the sky falls...
CAN YOU HEAR THE SIREN CALL?"
{Golden sparks begin to rain down over the stage... before the stage begins to shift. The center of the stage seperates, and a platform rises from below... Aphrodite rests on her side, upon an elegant bed. She wears a fancy, fashionable robe, made of golden lace, with a golden cowl. Faith stands behind her, waving a giant, royal fan in her direction. Aphrodite is surrounded by small, marble pillars. From the pillars hang a banner, made from the finest parchment, proclaiming 'Your Goddess Has Arrived'. The beat intensifies, as the voice rings out once again--}
"CAN YOU HEAR THE SIREN CALL?"
{Aphrodite rises from the bed, lifting her hands out to the fans, to an overwhelmingly negative reaction here. The platform descends, and the pair make their way down the ramp, as the golden sparks continue to shower down upon the stage. Faith waves toward the LAW faithful, who respond with nothing but 100%, pure hatred. Aphrodite throws her shoulders back, before acting as if she's going to kiss a young fan. But the self-proclaimed 'Greek Goddess' pulls away at the last second, leaving the fan to curse at her and later write it down in his feelings journal. She then walks toward the ring steps, taking her time to raise her hand to the fans, cuz the face ain't listening. She orders Faith to hold the middle rope down, which she does, and Aphrodite steps through... Aphrodite stands tall in the center of the ring, blowing a kiss out to the fans, before smiling egotistically to herself.}
Troy Franklin: Aphrodite looks ready tonight.
Duke King:She's put away a list of impressive people. She's as dangerous as she is beautiful.
{"Frontline" By Pillar begins over the loud speakers. and Gabby emerges from the backstage. She smiles at the crowd, and holds her arms up. She begins a light job down the aisle slapping fans five along the way. She climbs up the steps and poses for a moment before entering through the ropes. She removes her POW/MIA shirt and begins lightly stretching.}
Troy Franklin: And there is the beautiful, wonderful athlete Gabriella Camacho. She's making her debut here tonight, and from what we've seen of her, can we expect big things?
Duke King: She looks like she has a lot of potential, but she's got her work cut out for her with Aphrodite.
{Gabby and Aphrodite circle one another, but as Gabby goes for the lockup, Aphrodite grabs her legs in a double leg takedown, and rolls into a jackknife pin! 1….Gabby bridges up and spins into a backslide! 1…. Aphrodite rolls away. Aphrodite gets up and as Gabby goes for a kick, Aphrodite catches it. However, Gabby is able to flip and twist in mid-air, mule kicking Aphrodite in the gut, dropping her to her knees. Gabby quickly latches on a side headlock. Gabby grinds it in, but Aphrodite is able to pop her head out and reverse into a headlock of her own. Gabby squirms around and gets back up, driving an elbow to the gut, before applying a hammerlock, then shifting onto a headlock, and takes Aphrodite down with a headlock takedown. Aphrodite then uses her legs to apply a headscissors, taking Gabby down. Gabby finds her shoulders on the mat. 1… Gabby rolls her shoulder. Gabby keeps rolling around, then does a very athletic kip up to escape the headscissors. Gabby meet Aphrodite with a kick to the gut, then a snapmare takeover. Gabby bounces off the ropes and connects with a basement dropkick to the back of Aphrodite’s head! Cover by Gabby! 1….2… Aphrodite kicks out. }
Troy Franklin: And thus far, Gabriella is extremely impressive.
{Gabby gets to her feet as Aphrodite gets up. Gabby goes for an Irish whip, but Aphrodite twists out and kicks Gabby in the gut. Aphrodite then pushes Gabby into the ropes and connects with a spinning kick that drops Gabby, who falls, clutching her face. Aphrodite drops down into the cover 1…Gabby powers out and crawls towards the corner. Aphrodite is there to meet her with a boot, choking Gabby with it. The ref counts, and Aphrodite breaks on 4. Gabby stumbles out of the corner and is met with a spinning heel kick that drops her. Aphrodite covers hooking the leg 1….2…Gabby kicks out.}
Troy Franklin: And just like that, the momentum shift to Aphrodite.
Duke King: Gabby is holding her own, but Aphrodite has been one of the top wrestlers in LAW thus far.
{Aphrodite pulls Gabby to the middle of the ring and pulls her to a sitting position before applying a surfboard. Aphrodite’s knee is firmly planting the back of Gabby, but Gabby refuses to submit.}
Troy Franklin: And now a surfboard stretch by Aphrodite.
Duke King: A very painful hold. Gabby is going to have to try and get to her feet to break the pressure of this hold.
{Gabby squirms on the mat, but Aphrodite has the hold synched in. Gabby still refuses to quit, and begins putting her leg out in an effort to stand. Aphrodite cranks on the hold, and Gabby stands to get up. Fighting through the pain, Gabby is able to get back to her feet. Gabby then turns and twists freeing herself from the hold. Gabby pushes Aphrodite off, and on the rebound connects with a discus clothesline! Gabby covers this time 1….2… kickout by Aphrodite. Gabby gets up and pulls Aphrodite back to standing position. Gabby whips Aphrodite in, and ducks her head for a backdrop, but Aphrodite kicks her to stun her. Gabby reels back, and is then nailed by the Nightclub Kick [Bicycle Kick] Aphrodite scrambles into the cover 1…..2….3NO! Gabby rolls the shoulder!}
Troy Franklin: What a shot! How on Earth did Gabby kick out of that?
Duke King: It had to be instinct.
{Aphrodite is arguing with the referee as Gabby stands against the ropes. Faith jumps up on the apron and grabs Gabby, Holding her in place. Aphrodite charges, and Gabby is able to elbow Faith, and move away as Aphrodite collides with Faith! }
Troy Franklin: A miscue!
{Gabby grabs a stunned Aphrodite and lifts her onto her shoulders, before spinning her and connecting with the Killzone [TKO] Gabby rolls into the cover hooking the leg 1….2…..3!}
Troy Franklin: And Gabby Camacho picks up the impressive victory!
Duke King: I gotta hand it to her Troy, I thought that kick did her in, but like a solider, she got through this one.
{Gabby stands and raises her arms, pumping her fist in celebration. She climbs the ropes and gains more cheers for her victory.}
Troy Franklin: Well, we’ve have three impressive debuts tonight, and we’re just getting started.
Duke King: Absolutely. There’s a whole lot more coming up.
{We fade to commercial as Gabby exits the ring.}
{All of a sudden "Superstar" by Lupe fiasco starts playing all over the Pa system. Two lights are pointed at the entrance way. Crystal Emerges through the curtains and is greeted by multiple pyros that start shooting off one by one. The crowd roars at her with a loud ovation of boos and she slowly makes her way out walking down the aisle. Crystal cracks a grin as her photographers line up to take a picture of her. She finally makes it to the ring and places one foot on the apron and stretches the other one on the apron as well. She does a split to enter the ring and she finally makes it to her feet. She smiles bouncing around a bit as she awaits her opponent to come out..}
Troy Franklin: Crystal does not look too happy tonight.
Duke King: Well, this rivalry between Sidney Grey and Crystal took a big step forward when Sidney cost Crystal a match two weeks ago against The Doc. Crystal is looking to get back on track tonight!
{"Sinner" by Drowning Pool hits and the happy, smiling, Keira Fisher soon makes her way out. Slapping some fans five and being overall very lively, she bounces to the ringside and walks up the steps and into the ring where she waves to the fans and begins some stretching as her music cuts.}
Troy Franklin: And here we go. This should be a classic match-up.
Duke King: Crystal is a high flier. If she gets that lucha style going, it will be difficult for Keira to keep up.
{The bell sounds as the two circle one another. They lock up, and Crystal quickly takes Keira over with an arm drag. Keira gets to her knees as Crystal seems impressed with herself. Keira stands and they lock up again, and this time Crystal quickly scoops up Kiera and slams her to the mat. Once again, Crystal smirks as Keira gets back to her feet. They lock up again, and Crystal does a fireman's carry takeover and then locks in an armbar. Keira slaps her arm, trying not to lose feeling as she strains to get back up. Keira is able to get to her feet, and then Crystal wrings the arm of Kiera to maintain control. But Keira is able to reverse the arm wringer, and wring Crystal's arm. But Crystal simply escapes with a yank of Keira's hair, sending her to the mat.}
Troy Franklin: And just when it seems this match is getting even, Crystal resorts to hair pulling.
Duke King: Take it easy Troy, the ref is admonishing her.
{Indeed, the ref is yelling at Crystal about the hair pulling. Crystal just waves him off. Crystal then stands on Keira's hair and grabs her arm again in an armbar. Keria does not stay in this for long as she kips up and comes up swinging with forearm shots that rock Crystal. Keira whips Crystal into the ropes and looks for a clothesline. Crystal ducks and then once she hits the opposite ropes, she holds on and slides out of the ring, taking a powder.}
Troy Franklin: And again, Crystal breaks the momentum.
Duke King: It's call strategy Troy. Crystal was once the top starlet in the world.
{Crystal begins jawing with the fans at ringside, but Keira won't let her rest as she hits a baseball slide that sends Crystal into the barricade at ringside. Keira slides out and grabs Crystal and throws her head first into the apron before throwing her back into the ring and sliding in after her. Crystal gets up and gets a kick to the gut for her troubles, before catching a series of forearm shots. Keira whips Crystal in to the ropes, and on the rebound, lifts Crystal for a sidewalk slam, but Crystal keeps her momentum going and plants Keira head-first with a tilt-a-whirl DDT! Crystal smirks before rolling into the cover 1....2...Keira rolls the shoulder.}
Troy Franklin: Amazing counter by Crystal Hilton.
Duke King: That's just how good she is.
{Crystal gets up and delivers a kick to Keira's ribs, causing Keira to gasp in pain, and then gasp for air. Crystal grabs Keira by the hair and leads her to the corner, throwing her face-first into the turnbuckle. Crystal begins then driving her shoulder into Keira's gut. After a few times, Crystal backs up and and charges, connecting with a spinning heel kick to the face of Keira, sandwiching her in the corner. Crystal catches herself on the apron, and as Keira stumbles out of the corner, Crystal springboards off with a missile dropkick to the back of Keira's head! Some of the crowd applaud the display, but that instantly turns to boos when Crystal takes a bow, congratulating herself on the move.}
Troy Franklin: Ever the showboat.
Duke King: If you got it, flaunt it.
{Crystal finally decides to makes the cover. 1....2...Keira kicks out, drawing cheers from the audience. Crystal cannot believe it, and argues the count. After a moment, she goes to pull up Keira, but Keira shoots a forearm to the gut of Crystal. Crystal shrugs it off, and nails Keira with a forearm to the back. Keira then comes up again with a headbutt that doubles Crystal over and backs her up. Keira gets up and looks for a clothesline, but Crystal ducks, and in one motion, hooks Keira's head and drops her with a inverted DDT! Crystal again covers, this time hooking the leg. 1....2....Keira rolls the the shoulder again!}
Troy Franklin: Crystal cannot keep Keira down!
{Visibly frustrated, Crystal stomps Keira in the back, before positioning her body where she wants it, before scaling the turnbuckles. Crystal positions herself and then leaps off, twisting in the air, looking for the Light's, Camera, Action [630 Corkscrew Senton] But Keira rolls out of the way! Crystal lands on her back, and screams in pain as she clutches her back. Keira slowly gets to her feet, and motions for Crystal get up. Crystal stumbles up and Keira connects with a running bulldog that takes Crystal down. Keira then stands up and motions for the end. Keira readies herself, and Crystal again gets up, Keira goes for the Seven Sins [Chick kick] But Crystal ducks! Crystal applies a waistlock, looking for a German suplex, but as she lifts, Keira tucks herself in, turning the move into a victory roll! 1.....2....3!}
Troy Franklin: Keira pulls off the victory!
Duke King: Out of nowhere! Crystal has no one to blame but herself for that loss.
{Keira rolls out of the ring as Crystal begins pounding the mat in frustration. Keira has her hand raised by the ref outside the ring as "Sinner" begins again.}
Troy Franklin: Is this to be considered an upset? Keira Fisher just beat Crystal Hilton.
Duke King: Crystal may have been more focused on something else here tonight, and she may have overlooked Keira.
{Crystal continues to complain as Keira makes her way up the ramp as we go to the back.}
{The camera zooms in outside the arena as a taxi cab speeds up to the back entrance and comes to a screeching halt. The back door flies open and Sidney Grey half falls to the ground as she scrambles out, phone in hand. Her personal Assistant, SoLo hops out last, handing the cab driver wads of cash as she struggles with Sidney’s baggage. Sidney glares at SoLo.}
Sidney Grey: THIS ISN’T A COINCIDENCE!! SOMEONE INTENTIONALLY CANCELLED OUR TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS TO MAKE US LATE FOR THE SHOW!!
{Sidney punched in the number for the LAW main office, but again she was put on hold. She screamed as she threw the phone, sending it sailing into the wall and exploding into hundreds of pieces.}
Sidney Grey: WHY IS NO ONE ANSWERING MY CALLS?!!
{Beads of sweat rolled down SoLo’s face as she struggled with the heavy bags, running to open the door for her employer.}
SoLo: Ms. Grey…I…I don’t kn…know…I…
{Sidney glanced at her watch and swore under her breath. She only had a few minutes to get dressed and into the ring.}
Sidney Grey: I need to find Lucas!! I need to get this unveiling stopped!!
{As Sidney charged through the door, she ran headlong into Carmen Diaz as she was taking a moment to enjoy her latte, with extra foam. Both women screamed as the latte spilled all over Sidney, the foam flying in her face. Carmen’s eyes widened in shock as Sidney stood there shaking in an absolute rage.}
Carmen Diaz: Oh my God! Sidney…I am so sor…
{Sidney got right into Carmen’s face, rearing back her fist as she prepared to pummel the interviewer, causing her to back away. Suddenly, she heard her theme music starting to play from deep inside the arena. Sidney clenched her teeth, then leaned in, coming so close to Carmen that the foam that dripped down her face actually dripped onto the tip of the LAW Interviewer’s nose. Sidney poked Carmen hard in the chest.}
Sidney Grey: Apology…NOT ACCEPTED!!
{Carmen swallowed hard, raising her hands as Sidney turned and stormed off stripping off her wet clothes as her assistant chased after her, attempting to get her dressed for her match which was moments from starting.}
{“Get Well Soon by Reggie & The Full Effect” blasts all over the speakers. As it does the beautiful Cindy Warren emerges from the back accompanied by her brother in law Todd. She smiles as she is wearing a stethoscope around her neck. She holds the end to the crowd to check the life of the crowd and they welcome her with loud cheers. She grins as she stretches her arms out and slaps the hands of the people cheering her on. She slides into the ring and slowly rises to her feet. She proudly raises her hands in the air and waits for her opponent to come out.}
Troy Franklin: Cindy Warren looks ready to go as always.
Duke King: She's got to feeling even better now that we know that Sidney has had no time to prepare, I mean, she just got here!
{The crowd cheered as Cynthia Warren stood in the center of the ring, ready for her match as Beth Harris announced her opponent. “Suffocate” by Cold began to play and the fans immediately broke into a chorus of boos for the hated reality star.}
Beth Harris: And her opponent, making her way down to the ring, hailing from Seattle, Washington by way of South Africa…SIDNEY GREY!!
{The boos continued, even though Sidney didn’t immediately come through the entranceway. At the announce position, Troy and Duke looked at one another, wondering if there would be a match tonight. After an uncomfortably long wait, Sidney burst through the entranceway, half falling down as she just managed to pull up her wrestling trunks, narrowly avoiding exposing her bare backside to the world. SoLo trailed behind her, as she hopped to the ring attempting to put on one of her wrestling boots.}
Troy Franklin: Well…errr…I guess we are going to get to see this match after all!
Duke King: Yeah…and we almost got to see a lot more than we had planned on seeing here tonight! A full moon over Michigan!
{The boos and laughter continued to rain down on Sidney as she made her way to the ring. Sidney climbed into the ring and snatched the microphone out of Beth’s hand, taking a moment to glance up at the giant banner hanging over the ring, still covered in velvet cloth. The camera zoomed in on Sidney as her face was still dripping with latte cream. Sidney glared at Beth, pointing for her to leave the ring.}
Sidney Grey: BEAT IT TRAMP!!
{The fans booed even louder, but Beth begrudgingly left the ring.}
Troy Franklin: That was completely uncalled for!
{SoLo began wiping the cream from Sidney’s face, but she shoved the young girl aside.}
Sidney Grey: Listen up! ALL OF YOU!! Unfortunately, the S.I. Magazine cover unveiling has been CANCELLED!! THERE WILL BE NO UNVEILING TONIGHT!!
{The fans gave a mixed response to the news, though it was deafening all the same.}
Duke King: What?! I was looking forward to this!!
Troy Franklin: Obviously, there appears to have been some problems…but this is certainly disappointing for our fans and our sponsors.
Sidney Grey: Don’t worry!! I intend to make it up to each and every one of you…by beating the hell out of my opponent tonight! NOW, RING THE BELL!!
{Sidney threw down the microphone as the bell sounded, but before the women could square off, “Superstar” by Lupe Fiasco began to play and Crystal Hilton walked out, microphone in hand and sporting an amused look on her face.}
Crystal Hilton: Sidney, Sidney…SIDNEY! If I have learned anything at all about this business…I have learned that you should never disappoint your fans. I mean, you have made a habit of doing just that, week after week with your horrible reality show!
{The building shook with laughter as Sidney turned red, her face a mask of pure anger. Sidney started towards Crystal, stepping through the ring ropes and onto the apron.}
Duke King: Oh! It’s about to be on between these two!!
Troy Franklin: We are going to see a fight here Duke!!
{Crystal held up her hand.}
Crystal Hilton: You can stop right there! After seeing what a hard time you had just making it from the airport to the arena tonight, I’d hate to see what might happen when you tried to make it back up this ramp!
{Sidney paused on the apron, her eyes growing wide as she realized that Crystal had been the reason for all of this.}
Crystal Hilton: Sidney, we have all had to sit around and listen to you crow about how much better you are than everyone else, like your crap don’t stink! Well…its time for a REAL reality check! You’re one of the crappiest people around, and now everyone around the world will know it!!
{Crystal signaled and the entire arena went dark accept for the spotlight that shown on Sidney and the massive banner hanging over the ring. The velvet curtain fell away revealing the S.I. magazine cover to everyone watching. Sidney screamed as the entire arena erupted into hysterical laughter.}
Duke King: OH MY GOD!! ARE YOU SEEING THIS?!!
{Troy doubled over with laughter, pounding the table with his fist. Sidney stood on the apron in near hysterics as SoLo attempted to console her. On the darkened entranceway, Crystal grinned sadistically as she walked off.}
Duke King: Crystal Hilton gets revenge for last week! Sidney is losing it on the apron!
{The crowd continued to laugh and cheer as the lights came back up and Sidney stood on the apron in a state of shock. The referee looked at Cynthia and shrugged as he started the count. The fans counted along with him as Sidney didn’t move or acknowledge them at all.}
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
Duke King: OH NO!! Is this going to end in a count out?!! GET BACK IN THERE SIDNEY!!
FIVE!
SIX!
SEVEN!
Troy Franklin: She’s nearly catatonic Duke! Crystal has certainly gotten her revenge here tonight!
EIGHT!
NINE!
{As the count reached nine, it was as if a switch had been turned on. Sidney darted back into the ring intending to catch Cynthia off guard, but she was ready for the attack. Cynthia ducked the wild haymaker and as Sidney turned around, she ran right into an STO followed by a lightning fast Koji Clutch.}
Duke King: THE CHECK UP!! SHE HIT IT!! SHE HIT IT!!
{Sidney screamed as Cynthia sunk the hold in deeply. The fans stood on their feet and roared seeing that the match was all but over. Sidney flailed wildly as she tried desperately to reach the ropes and break the hold, but she was hopelessly far away.}
Troy Franklin: OH! THIS IS OVER!!
{Sidney raised her hand to tap out, with tears streaming down her face. The entire arena seemed to hold its collective breath. Suddenly Sidney turned her head into Cynthia’s leg and managed to sink her teeth into her calf. Cynthia screamed as the referee dove in to break up the illegal counter.}
Troy Franklin: SHE JUST BIT HER!! DID YOU SEE THAT?!!
Duke King: How could I NOT?! What is the referee going to do here?!
{The referee broke the women apart as the fans booed. He admonished Sidney as Cynthia was angry beyond belief, screaming at the referee about being bitten. As the referee turned to Cynthia to check on her, Sidney ran around the referee, blindsiding Cynthia. When the referee attempted to stop her, she swung at him, narrowly missing as he rolled out of the ring. The fan’s chorus of boos rained down on Sidney, but she didn’t seem to hear them as she viciously stomped Cynthia. The referee signaled for the bell to ring, ending the action, but Sidney didn’t stop her assault.}
Troy Franklin: Oh, come on!! Someone stop this!!
{Sidney paused for a moment, staring at the Michigan crowd through the tangles of her cream encrusted hair, then flipped them off. She grabbed Cynthia by her leg and dragged her to the corner, straddling her legs on either side of the ring post.}
Duke King: Oh no! We saw her do this before Troy! This is getting out of hand!!
{Sidney wrapped Cynthia’s legs around the ring post and locked in the “Sid-Knee Lock” figure four as she hung upside down and Cynthia screamed in pain. The fans booed and the Time Keeper continued to bang on the ring bell. Sidney screamed manically as she refused to release the hold on Cynthia. SoLo, the referee, and Security rushed down to stop the attack, but Sidney held the hold, apparently intent on severely injuring the woman.}
Troy Franklin: This is ridiculous! Get her off of Cynthia!
{Surprisingly, Crystal Hilton sprints down the aisle and moves the rest of the security out of the way. She forcibly moves Sidney's legs and breaks the hold. She begins attacking Sindey, which forces Roxi Johnson and the other Officials and the rest of the security team move Sidney away from the ringside area, separating Crystal and Sidney. The security holds each woman back while Roxi has enabled the medical team to check on Cindy.}
Troy Franklin: Crystal is out here! Now Crystal and Sidney are going at it! Security is separating them!
Duke King: Cindy is lucky right now. She may have been severely injured if Sidney had done any more damaged. She looks like damaged goods right now anyway.
{Crystal and Sidney are still trying to get at one another, while Cindy is still yelling in pain as the medical staff check on her as we go to commerical.}
{The Doc comes out of the curtain and walks to the ring, she is hot and has sweet jugs.}
Troy Franklin: What a run it has been for The Doc, she's undefeated in singles competition, and tonight, she looks to continue that roll.
Duke King: But let's not get ahead of ourselves her Troy. She's still a rookie, She had help to beat Crystal Hilton last time, and tonight, she's facing one of the best female wrestlers ever. And let's not dismiss the family ties here.
{Zelda's theme kicks on as the LoZ remix starts off with smoke filling the entrance ramp. "Smells like Teen Spirit" by One Ok Rock hits now and the strobe lights around the ramp begin flicking on and off as Zelda slowly steps out with her arms stretched out, the music picks up and Zelda sprints to the ring. She hops onto the nearest turnbuckle and plays to the crowd for a bit. When the music dies down, she jumps down and waits for the match to begin.}
Troy Franklin: And there's the bell. This match is underway.
{Both women cautiously circle, before locking up. Doc manages to clamp on a side headlock, and begins wrenching for all she's worth. Zelda twists out into a top wristlock. Doc and Zelda struggle for control, each trying to gain the advantage on the wristlock. Zelda breaks off and twists into a hammerlock. Doc looks around, trying to find an escape, and swings her free arm over, pulling her locked arm away, and wrings Zelda's arm forcing Zelda to a knee. Doc applies the arm bar as Gib looks on from the outside approvingly.}
Troy Franklin: Gotta be tough for Gib, watching his wife and daughter wrestle each other.
{Doc keeps the arm barred, but Zelda is able to roll out, roll to her feet and reverse to an arm wringer, and then an arm bar of her own. Doc continues to try to get up, but each time she makes it to a knee, Zelda applies more pressure. Doc is able to crawl a few steps, and eventually makes it to the rope, forcing the break.}
Troy Franklin: And the ref force the break.
Duke King: This is what the Doc has to avoid. She does not have the wrestling expierience of Zelda, so she cannot try to match holds with Zelda, otherwise she's going to be in for a long night.
{The two lock up again and Doc is able to surprise Zelda with an arm drag. Zelda looks up at Doc, who moves in, trying to push the pace. Zelda is able grab Doc's arm, wring it, tuck it in, and bring Doc over with a modified fireman's carry/northern lights suplex. Zelda quickly covers, but Doc kicks out before the ref even gets down. Doc gets up, and charges Zelda, who instantly hits a drop toe hold, and then floats into a side headlock. Doc slaps the mat in frustration.}
Troy Fanklin: And now it looks like Doc is clearly off her game right now.
Duke King: Again, Zelda is wrestling, and that is one of the Doc's weak points. Zelda knows exactly what she's doing.
{Doc gets to her knees, and then back up, driving elbows into Zelda's gut to break the hold. Doc fires off some forearm shots, and then a discus elbow that drops Zelda. Doc goes for the cover 1... Zelda kicks out. Zelda gets up, but Doc is all over her, throwing her face-first into the top turnbuckle. Spinning Zelda around, Doc begins driving hard shoulders into Zelda's gut. After 3 shots, Doc winds up and drives a nasty elbow to Zelda's face. The ref has to back up the super aggressive Doc, who won't let Zelda out of the corner. Doc moves back in, but that little rest is all Zelda needed for a quick punch to the gut that stuns Doc. Doc doubles over, and Zelda gets a few more shots in before getting to her feet. Zelda then goes for the Irish whip, but Doc reverses. On the rebound, Doc goes for a hiptoss, but Zelda counters in mid-air and turns it into a monkey flip that has Doc land hard on her tailbone. Zelda makes her way over to the Doc, and goes for an Irish whip of her own, but Doc twists out and pulls Zelda in for a belly-to-belly suplex! Doc stays on top for the cover 1....2...Zelda kicks out.}
Troy Franklin: And the Doc has turned it up here in this match.
Duke King: But that's what she has to do. She has to stay on top of Zelda and keep the pace going.
{Doc pulls Zelda to her feet, and positions her for a vertical suplex. Doc completes the move, and then floats into the cover 1....2....Zelda kicks out again. Doc looks to Gib who encourages her on, and Doc stands and leans against the ropes, waiting for Zelda to get up. When she does, Doc charges looking for a clothesline, but Zelda ducks. Doc turns around, and Zelda goes for a kick, which Doc catches, but Zelda instantly jumps up with an Enziguiri that drops Doc to the ground. Zelda gets up, and as Doc get to her knees, Zelda hits the ropes and connects with the Chrono Trigger![Shining Wizard] Zelda makes the cover 1.....2....Doc rolls the shoulder.}
Troy Franklin: Doc BARELY got out of that one.
{Zelda then positions Doc and goes to the top rope. She balances, and jumps off, looking for the Mass Effect,[Diving double foot stomp] but Doc rolls out of the way. Zelda lands on her feet, not really taking any damage. Doc is up in a flash, and grabs Zelda in a rear waistlock, looking for a German suplex, but Zelda blocks. Doc tries again, But Zelda blocks again. Zelda switches, and Doc throws a wild elbow that Zelda ducks, which turns Doc around, Zelda does a double leg pick up and holds Doc's legs, and begins stepping through, looking for the Triforce, [Sharpshooter] but Doc manages to kick her away. Doc back rolls to her feet, and Zelda charges, only to be met with a super stiff clothesline!}
Duke King: LARIATOOOOOO~
Troy Franklin:Doc almost beheaded Zelda with that clothesline!
{Doc is down but then makes the cover. 1......2.....3NO! Zelda BARELY rolls the shoulder. Doc holds her head in her hands, in disbelief that Zelda kicked out. Zelda slowly rolls to her stomach as Doc is now even more flustered. Doc stands and motions for Zelda to do the same. Zelda gets up, and Doc unloads with a few jabs that stun Zelda, then a heavy haymaker that drops her to the canvas. Doc again goes for the cover! 1.....2....Zelda again rolls the shoulder! Doc slaps the mat in frustration, and then gets up, and positions herself behind Zelda. Zelda is able to stumble up, and Doc goes for the Mental Health [Backdrop Driver] but Zelda flips out of it! Zelda hits the ropes behind Doc, and as Doc spins around, she is taken off her feet with a running DDT! Zelda covers! 1....2....3NO! Doc rolls the shoulder! Doc is little dizzy as she gets up and finds solace in the corner. Zelda sees Doc in the corner and charges, but Doc ducks out of the way. Zelda lands on the middle rope, and jumps onto the top rope, but before she can turn herself around, Doc pushes Zelda's legs out from under her, forcing Zelda to crotch herself on the top turnbuckle. Doc takes advantage quickly, climbing the middle rope, and hooking Zelda up from the top rope, and then connecting with a SUPER MENTAL HEALTH!}
Troy Franklin: OH MY GOD! SUPER MENTAL HEALTH!
Crowd: HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT!
{Doc slowly rolls a limp Zelda over and drapes her arm across her. 1.....2.......3!}
Troy Franklin: THE DOC! SHE WON THIS THING!
Duke King: I....I'm speechless Troy, that was insane!
{"Locked out of heaven" begins as Doc rolls off Zelda and the two lay on the canvas. Gib slides in, checking on the welfare of both his daughter and his wife. Doc is able to get to her feet, albeit slowly, and Zelda remains down, but is moving. Soon enough, Zelda is able to use the ropes and stand up, and she looks at Doc, who has her hand extended. Zelda thinks for a minute, then shakes it!}
Troy Franklin: Tremendous show of sportsmanship there!
Duke King: What a match that was!
Troy Franklin: Ladies and Gentlemen, what a show it was tonight, and we'll be back on July 13th, with more L.A.W. action! For Duke King, I'm Troy Franklin saying, Goodnight everybody!
{We fade on Gib between Zelda and Doc, raising their hands together.}
{The camera panned around the arena as the fans screamed and cheered. High above the ring, a massive billboard hung draped by a velvet-covered cloth. The camera panned back down to the announce position, focusing on Troy Franklin and Duke King.}
{Duke nodded, then paused as he got a message through his headset.}
{"Stronger" by Kanye West is playing as Lucas Dupree makes his way to the ring, slapping some fan hands and whatnot, before climbing the steps and entering the ring. He takes the microphone from Beth Harris as his music cuts out.}
Lucas Dupree:Hello everyone. Now, before we get to all the action tonight, I'm afraid that I have to report some bad news.
{Boos.}
Lucas Dupree:Last week, Violet suffered a concussion. A concussion which will keep Violet out of action indefinitely.
{More boos.}
Lucas Dupree: With no firm timetable for Violet's return, she will miss her scheduled Marquee title defense coming up in July. So, LAW management has no choice but to strip Violet of the title.
{Boos.}
{Cheers for the announcement.}
Lucas Dupree: So, the 8 women who will compete will be as follows: Sidney Grey.
{Boos.}
Lucas Dupree:Gabriella Camacho.
{Ceers.}
Lucas Dupree: Summer St. Clair
{Boos.}
Lucas Dupree:Pricilla Price
{Boos.}
Lucas Dupree: Keira Fisher
{cheers}
Lucas Dupree:Crystal Hilton
{Boos}
Lucas Dupree: Ash Scion
{cheers}
Lucas Dupree: And Skye Sparks!
{Cheers}
Lucas Dupree:So, Good luck to there 8 women. And I have no doubt, we will have an amazing, and well deserved, NEW Marquee champion! Enjoy the action here tonight Grand Rapids!
{There are cheers as "Stronger plays again and Lucas exits the ring. We cut back to Troy and Duke.}
{A light show begins near the entrance curtain, with yellow, blue, red and orange spotlights swirling around in a dizzying pattern. As the initial reverb-heavy vocals of 'Blow' begin, the focus spotlight stops dead in the centre, in time for Summer St. Clair to step into it as the electronic beat begins. Followed closely by publicist and associate Bambi Huntington, the blonde then swaggers down the ramp, royally ignoring the lovestruck fanboys on either side of her. She motions for the cameraman to keep the focus on her as she poses against the ring ropes, then on top of the ring ropes, then midway into the ring...you get the idea. When she finally steps onto the canvas, she spends the precious seconds before the bell not limbering up, but rather yelling at Bambi, for offences real or imagined. Only with the sound of the actual bell does she deign to give the referee and her opponent her attention.}
Troy Franklin: Summer St. Clair is a newcomer here to LAW, but there is already a rumbling about her going on amongst the people I talk to.
Duke King: There’s always a rumbling when someone new shows up. But this Summer seems like she’s got a lot to offer LAW.
{As 'I Love It' blares through the arena, Ash Scion emerges and makes her way down the ramp, as serious as a heart attack. She does not acknowledge the fans at all, her focus laser sharp on the ring itself.}
Troy Franklin: And here comes Ash Scion! She’s obviously no nonsense and looking to make her debut a successful one as well.
{The bell sounds as Ash goes to lock up with Summer, but Summer backs away. Ash holds her arms out, a little miffed. Ash goes in again, but Summer boosts herself on the top rope, and then as Ash moves in again, Summer hops off the ropes and onto the apron. The referee has to move Ash back physically this time. Summer stands on the apron, and begins to mess with her hair, with Bambi lauding her good looks and complimenting her. This makes Ash visibly angry that she is not in the ring. The ref again moves Ash back, allowing Summer to finally re-enter the ring. Ash this time moves the ref out of the way and charges, but Summer side-steps Ash and Ash goes careening through the ropes, and lands hand on the floor!}
Troy Franklin: Ow! Rough landing for Ash Scion right there!
Duke King: Summer just took advantage of Ash being a hot-head right there.
{Summer goes outside where Ash is clutching her back in pain. Summer stomps the back of Ash as Ash uses the steps to get back up. Summer grabs her by the hair, and pulls here away from the ring up the ramp, then whips her back first into the apron. Ash clutches her back in even more pain. Summer again grabs Ash by the hair and slams her head off the apron before rolling back in and out to break the official’s ten count. Summer grabs Ash and throws her back in the ring before following her in herself. Summer mounts Ash and begins a series of punches. The ref uses his count and forces Summer to break as Ash’s foot is on the ropes. Summer gets in his face and puts the bad mouth on him, before moving back over to Ash, who manages to fire a quick elbow to the gut to stun Summer. Summer however drives a knee into Ash’s gut to keep her stunned, Before hooking Ash’s head and connecting with a running bulldog. Summer makes the cover, not hooking a leg 1….2... kickout by Ash. }
Troy Franklin: A near fall early in this match-up.
Duke King: Summer made a lazy cover there, she’d better start hooking the leg if she wants to beat Ash Scion.
{Summer questions the count, but the ref displays two fingers to her, telling her it was only a two. Ash is leaning against the ropes trying to get back up, but this allows Bambi on the outside to begin choking Ash against the ropes! The fans make noise as Bambi finishes and moves away without being caught.}
Troy Franklin: Oh come on! It’s 2 on 1 here!
Duke King: Maybe Ash should have gotten herself a manager.
Troy Franklin: That’s ridiculous.
{Ash struggles to breathe as Summer moves back in and again Ash is choked against the ropes. The ref counts and on 4 Summer breaks. Summer pulls Ash to her feet and delivers a well-executed back breaker, before floating into the cover 1…2…Ash rolls the shoulder. Summer gets up and parades around the ring, drawing boos, but at the same time, she keeps Ash down every so often stomping her. Ash rolls to her stomach, and Summer pounces, locking in a modified Camel clutch, not hooking Ash’s arms while applying the move.}
Troy Franklin: Camel Clutch applied, keeping more pressure on the back of Ash.
Duke King: But it’s not applied to it’s full potential here, Ash’s arms are free, which is enabling her to get some leverage and alleviate some of the pressure of this hold.
{Indeed Duke is correct as Ash refuses to submit. Summer continues to pull back on Ash’s head, while Bambi is on the outside yelling into the ring for Ash to give up. Ash pounds her fist into the mat, and uses her hands to push up a little, allowing her to get her legs underneath her. Once on her knees, Ash tries to get up, and rolls forward, forcing Summer off of her. Summer looks embarrassed, and turns to get on Ash, but Ash is ready and connects with a high leg lariat!}
Troy Franklin: And Ash Scion scores!
Duke King: She’s not out of this fight yet!
{Summer is stunned as Ash gets back to her feet. Summer get up and turns to meet Ash, and is met with a forearm to the face, then another. Summer stumbles back, and goes for a clothesline, but Ash ducks. Ash connects with a leg kick, a body kick, and then a leg sweep to drop Summer, and hits the ropes as Summer sits up and connects with the sliding Bakatare Sliding Kick! The crowd “Oohs” as Ash’s foot connects and makes a loud smacking sound. Summer goes down and Ash makes the cover 1….2… Summer rolls her shoulder.}
Troy Franklin: And now Ash is on a roll.
{Summer crawls to the corner, and Ash moves in as Summer stands and connects with a flurry of forearm shots, before backing up, getting a running start and connecting with a high knee in the corner! Summer stumbles out of the corner, and Ash goes to the corner and grabs the top rope, and as Summer turns around, Ash is already flying through the air with a springboard moonsault! Ash stays on top for the cover! 1……2….Summer is just able to get her foot on the rope. }
Troy Franklin: So close there!
Duke King: Summer is so tall that she can reach those ropes if she’s anywhere near them.
{Ash is undaunted, moving back in, but is stopped by a rake of the face by Summer. Summer pushes Ash into the corner, and Summer charges, but Ash gets a knee up. Summer stumbles, but as Ash climbs the ropes again, Summer grabs her ankle and whips her off the middle rope! Ash lands hard on the back of her head! Summer dives into the cover 1….2…Ash kicks out! Summer gets up, pretty angry, and leans against the ropes. She yells for Ash to get up, and Ash slowly begins to get up. Summer measures her, and goes in for the Heatstroke [Axe kick] but Ash moves back and as Summer’s foot touches the mat, she goes for the ride with a nasty German suplex from Ash! Ash keeps the bridge! 1…..2….3NO! Summer rolls away!}
Troy Franklin: These two are lighting it up right now!
Duke King: So much back and forth action!
{Ash questions the count herself this time. As Summer rolls around clutching her neck. Ash measures Summer and hits the ropes, but it tripped by Bambi on the outside. Summer had called the ref over, complaining about her neck, so he saw nothing. Ash however, turns around and finally nails Bambi with a rope assisted dropkick that sends Bambi down! }
Troy Franklin: This is ridiculous! Blatant interference from the outside! And Bambi paid for it!
Duke King: Too bad Troy. Summer and Bambi are a team.
{Summer gets back to her feet, and knees Ash in the back. Grabbing a hold of Ash’s hair, Summer readies for the Beauty Treatment [Sitout Facebuster] but as she goes to jump, Ash spins out and knees Summer in the gut! Ash hooks the arm of Summer, steps over and drives Summer face-first into the ground with the Let it Burn [Arm-trap Forward DDT] Ash rolls Summer over and makes the cover 1…..2…..3!}
Troy Franklin: And Ash Scion picks up the hard fought victory!
Duke King: I have to give her credit, she overcame the odds her tonight.
{“I don’t care” plays again as Ash stands, still clutching the back of her head from earlier in the match. Her arm is raised by the referee as she smiles briefly before dropping down and rolling out of the ring headed back up the ramp.}
{Maleek Raheem, Sidney Grey’s Business Manager, paced the backstage area as he checked his watch and swore under his breath. He stared at the entrance to the ladies locker room, trying to see inside every time the door opened.}
Maleek Raheem: Where in the hell is she?!!
{Feeling a tap on his shoulder, he turned around and found himself standing next to the lovely Carmen Diaz. Despite his frustration, a coy smile touched the corners of his mouth. He leaned back against the wall, licking his lips as he looked her up and down.}
Carmen Diaz: Mr. Raheem, do you have a moment to talk about your client, Sidney Grey?
Maleek Raheem: Carmen Diaz…a brotha got all day to holler at you!
{She gave a polite, if uncomfortable smile.}
{Raheem chuckled.}
Maleek Raheem: I wouldn’t bother wit it, you called a spade a spade! Sid is old! Her original theme song was th’ sound of th’ Big Bang!
{Carmen didn’t want to laugh, but she nodded and moved on.}
Carmen Diaz: I see that you are out here waiting.
{Carmen began to ask another question, but Raheem waved her away as he saw Cynthia Warren walking into the locker room.}
Maleek Raheem: CINDY!! HOLD UP!! Let me holler at you for a minute!!
{Cynthia looked at Raheem, rolling her eyes as she breezed by and headed into the locker room, slamming the door in his face.}
Maleek Raheem: CINDY?!! YO!! CYNTHIA!!
{Raheem stood there for a moment, then turned around with a look of frustration on his face.}
Carmen Diaz: That is Sidney’s opponent for tonight. Do you mind if I ask you why you’re trying to speak with her before the match?
{Raheem stared at her, then leaned in close.}
Maleek Raheem: Yes…you can ask…
{He knocked the microphone away and started walking off, ignoring any question she might have asked. As he was walking away, he brushed past one of the newest additions to the LAW roster, “The Paramour” Priscilla Price. He slowed his pace and turned and stared at her as she walked past. He stroked his chin for a moment, eyeing her greedily, then sighed as he called out after her.}
Maleek Raheem: WELCOME TO LAW, BABY GIRL!
{He watched her until she rounded the corner. As he stood there thinking he nodded slowly to himself, then looked back at Carmen and chuckled as he walked off.}
{The lights in the arena begin to dim, before a strobe light flashes, quickly changing through multiple, bright and dazzling colors. The stadium suddenly appears as if it's transformed into a night club, as a steady trance beats flows through the speakers. "Siren" by Kat Krazy, featuring Elkka plays over the PA System as words appear on the screen in brilliant, shimmering gold -- "It's not personal... it's just business." These fade out, replaced by another phrase in sparkling silver -- "I ALWAYS get what I want!!"}
{The fans are already showing their hate as the lyrics slowly come through--}
"Beneath the stars, face to face, I told ya I love ya, won't let your heart break.
{Golden sparks begin to rain down over the stage... before the stage begins to shift. The center of the stage seperates, and a platform rises from below... Aphrodite rests on her side, upon an elegant bed. She wears a fancy, fashionable robe, made of golden lace, with a golden cowl. Faith stands behind her, waving a giant, royal fan in her direction. Aphrodite is surrounded by small, marble pillars. From the pillars hang a banner, made from the finest parchment, proclaiming 'Your Goddess Has Arrived'. The beat intensifies, as the voice rings out once again--}
"CAN YOU HEAR THE SIREN CALL?"
{Aphrodite rises from the bed, lifting her hands out to the fans, to an overwhelmingly negative reaction here. The platform descends, and the pair make their way down the ramp, as the golden sparks continue to shower down upon the stage. Faith waves toward the LAW faithful, who respond with nothing but 100%, pure hatred. Aphrodite throws her shoulders back, before acting as if she's going to kiss a young fan. But the self-proclaimed 'Greek Goddess' pulls away at the last second, leaving the fan to curse at her and later write it down in his feelings journal. She then walks toward the ring steps, taking her time to raise her hand to the fans, cuz the face ain't listening. She orders Faith to hold the middle rope down, which she does, and Aphrodite steps through... Aphrodite stands tall in the center of the ring, blowing a kiss out to the fans, before smiling egotistically to herself.}
Troy Franklin: Aphrodite looks ready tonight.
Duke King:She's put away a list of impressive people. She's as dangerous as she is beautiful.
{"Frontline" By Pillar begins over the loud speakers. and Gabby emerges from the backstage. She smiles at the crowd, and holds her arms up. She begins a light job down the aisle slapping fans five along the way. She climbs up the steps and poses for a moment before entering through the ropes. She removes her POW/MIA shirt and begins lightly stretching.}
{Gabby and Aphrodite circle one another, but as Gabby goes for the lockup, Aphrodite grabs her legs in a double leg takedown, and rolls into a jackknife pin! 1….Gabby bridges up and spins into a backslide! 1…. Aphrodite rolls away. Aphrodite gets up and as Gabby goes for a kick, Aphrodite catches it. However, Gabby is able to flip and twist in mid-air, mule kicking Aphrodite in the gut, dropping her to her knees. Gabby quickly latches on a side headlock. Gabby grinds it in, but Aphrodite is able to pop her head out and reverse into a headlock of her own. Gabby squirms around and gets back up, driving an elbow to the gut, before applying a hammerlock, then shifting onto a headlock, and takes Aphrodite down with a headlock takedown. Aphrodite then uses her legs to apply a headscissors, taking Gabby down. Gabby finds her shoulders on the mat. 1… Gabby rolls her shoulder. Gabby keeps rolling around, then does a very athletic kip up to escape the headscissors. Gabby meet Aphrodite with a kick to the gut, then a snapmare takeover. Gabby bounces off the ropes and connects with a basement dropkick to the back of Aphrodite’s head! Cover by Gabby! 1….2… Aphrodite kicks out. }
Troy Franklin: And thus far, Gabriella is extremely impressive.
{Gabby gets to her feet as Aphrodite gets up. Gabby goes for an Irish whip, but Aphrodite twists out and kicks Gabby in the gut. Aphrodite then pushes Gabby into the ropes and connects with a spinning kick that drops Gabby, who falls, clutching her face. Aphrodite drops down into the cover 1…Gabby powers out and crawls towards the corner. Aphrodite is there to meet her with a boot, choking Gabby with it. The ref counts, and Aphrodite breaks on 4. Gabby stumbles out of the corner and is met with a spinning heel kick that drops her. Aphrodite covers hooking the leg 1….2…Gabby kicks out.}
Troy Franklin: And just like that, the momentum shift to Aphrodite.
Duke King: Gabby is holding her own, but Aphrodite has been one of the top wrestlers in LAW thus far.
{Aphrodite pulls Gabby to the middle of the ring and pulls her to a sitting position before applying a surfboard. Aphrodite’s knee is firmly planting the back of Gabby, but Gabby refuses to submit.}
Troy Franklin: And now a surfboard stretch by Aphrodite.
Duke King: A very painful hold. Gabby is going to have to try and get to her feet to break the pressure of this hold.
{Gabby squirms on the mat, but Aphrodite has the hold synched in. Gabby still refuses to quit, and begins putting her leg out in an effort to stand. Aphrodite cranks on the hold, and Gabby stands to get up. Fighting through the pain, Gabby is able to get back to her feet. Gabby then turns and twists freeing herself from the hold. Gabby pushes Aphrodite off, and on the rebound connects with a discus clothesline! Gabby covers this time 1….2… kickout by Aphrodite. Gabby gets up and pulls Aphrodite back to standing position. Gabby whips Aphrodite in, and ducks her head for a backdrop, but Aphrodite kicks her to stun her. Gabby reels back, and is then nailed by the Nightclub Kick [Bicycle Kick] Aphrodite scrambles into the cover 1…..2….3NO! Gabby rolls the shoulder!}
Troy Franklin: What a shot! How on Earth did Gabby kick out of that?
Duke King: It had to be instinct.
{Aphrodite is arguing with the referee as Gabby stands against the ropes. Faith jumps up on the apron and grabs Gabby, Holding her in place. Aphrodite charges, and Gabby is able to elbow Faith, and move away as Aphrodite collides with Faith! }
Troy Franklin: A miscue!
{Gabby grabs a stunned Aphrodite and lifts her onto her shoulders, before spinning her and connecting with the Killzone [TKO] Gabby rolls into the cover hooking the leg 1….2…..3!}
Troy Franklin: And Gabby Camacho picks up the impressive victory!
Duke King: I gotta hand it to her Troy, I thought that kick did her in, but like a solider, she got through this one.
{Gabby stands and raises her arms, pumping her fist in celebration. She climbs the ropes and gains more cheers for her victory.}
Troy Franklin: Well, we’ve have three impressive debuts tonight, and we’re just getting started.
Duke King: Absolutely. There’s a whole lot more coming up.
{We fade to commercial as Gabby exits the ring.}
{All of a sudden "Superstar" by Lupe fiasco starts playing all over the Pa system. Two lights are pointed at the entrance way. Crystal Emerges through the curtains and is greeted by multiple pyros that start shooting off one by one. The crowd roars at her with a loud ovation of boos and she slowly makes her way out walking down the aisle. Crystal cracks a grin as her photographers line up to take a picture of her. She finally makes it to the ring and places one foot on the apron and stretches the other one on the apron as well. She does a split to enter the ring and she finally makes it to her feet. She smiles bouncing around a bit as she awaits her opponent to come out..}
Troy Franklin: Crystal does not look too happy tonight.
Duke King: Well, this rivalry between Sidney Grey and Crystal took a big step forward when Sidney cost Crystal a match two weeks ago against The Doc. Crystal is looking to get back on track tonight!
{"Sinner" by Drowning Pool hits and the happy, smiling, Keira Fisher soon makes her way out. Slapping some fans five and being overall very lively, she bounces to the ringside and walks up the steps and into the ring where she waves to the fans and begins some stretching as her music cuts.}
Troy Franklin: And here we go. This should be a classic match-up.
Duke King: Crystal is a high flier. If she gets that lucha style going, it will be difficult for Keira to keep up.
{The bell sounds as the two circle one another. They lock up, and Crystal quickly takes Keira over with an arm drag. Keira gets to her knees as Crystal seems impressed with herself. Keira stands and they lock up again, and this time Crystal quickly scoops up Kiera and slams her to the mat. Once again, Crystal smirks as Keira gets back to her feet. They lock up again, and Crystal does a fireman's carry takeover and then locks in an armbar. Keira slaps her arm, trying not to lose feeling as she strains to get back up. Keira is able to get to her feet, and then Crystal wrings the arm of Kiera to maintain control. But Keira is able to reverse the arm wringer, and wring Crystal's arm. But Crystal simply escapes with a yank of Keira's hair, sending her to the mat.}
Troy Franklin: And just when it seems this match is getting even, Crystal resorts to hair pulling.
Duke King: Take it easy Troy, the ref is admonishing her.
{Indeed, the ref is yelling at Crystal about the hair pulling. Crystal just waves him off. Crystal then stands on Keira's hair and grabs her arm again in an armbar. Keria does not stay in this for long as she kips up and comes up swinging with forearm shots that rock Crystal. Keira whips Crystal into the ropes and looks for a clothesline. Crystal ducks and then once she hits the opposite ropes, she holds on and slides out of the ring, taking a powder.}
Troy Franklin: And again, Crystal breaks the momentum.
Duke King: It's call strategy Troy. Crystal was once the top starlet in the world.
{Crystal begins jawing with the fans at ringside, but Keira won't let her rest as she hits a baseball slide that sends Crystal into the barricade at ringside. Keira slides out and grabs Crystal and throws her head first into the apron before throwing her back into the ring and sliding in after her. Crystal gets up and gets a kick to the gut for her troubles, before catching a series of forearm shots. Keira whips Crystal in to the ropes, and on the rebound, lifts Crystal for a sidewalk slam, but Crystal keeps her momentum going and plants Keira head-first with a tilt-a-whirl DDT! Crystal smirks before rolling into the cover 1....2...Keira rolls the shoulder.}
Troy Franklin: Amazing counter by Crystal Hilton.
Duke King: That's just how good she is.
{Crystal gets up and delivers a kick to Keira's ribs, causing Keira to gasp in pain, and then gasp for air. Crystal grabs Keira by the hair and leads her to the corner, throwing her face-first into the turnbuckle. Crystal begins then driving her shoulder into Keira's gut. After a few times, Crystal backs up and and charges, connecting with a spinning heel kick to the face of Keira, sandwiching her in the corner. Crystal catches herself on the apron, and as Keira stumbles out of the corner, Crystal springboards off with a missile dropkick to the back of Keira's head! Some of the crowd applaud the display, but that instantly turns to boos when Crystal takes a bow, congratulating herself on the move.}
Troy Franklin: Ever the showboat.
Duke King: If you got it, flaunt it.
{Crystal finally decides to makes the cover. 1....2...Keira kicks out, drawing cheers from the audience. Crystal cannot believe it, and argues the count. After a moment, she goes to pull up Keira, but Keira shoots a forearm to the gut of Crystal. Crystal shrugs it off, and nails Keira with a forearm to the back. Keira then comes up again with a headbutt that doubles Crystal over and backs her up. Keira gets up and looks for a clothesline, but Crystal ducks, and in one motion, hooks Keira's head and drops her with a inverted DDT! Crystal again covers, this time hooking the leg. 1....2....Keira rolls the the shoulder again!}
Troy Franklin: Crystal cannot keep Keira down!
{Visibly frustrated, Crystal stomps Keira in the back, before positioning her body where she wants it, before scaling the turnbuckles. Crystal positions herself and then leaps off, twisting in the air, looking for the Light's, Camera, Action [630 Corkscrew Senton] But Keira rolls out of the way! Crystal lands on her back, and screams in pain as she clutches her back. Keira slowly gets to her feet, and motions for Crystal get up. Crystal stumbles up and Keira connects with a running bulldog that takes Crystal down. Keira then stands up and motions for the end. Keira readies herself, and Crystal again gets up, Keira goes for the Seven Sins [Chick kick] But Crystal ducks! Crystal applies a waistlock, looking for a German suplex, but as she lifts, Keira tucks herself in, turning the move into a victory roll! 1.....2....3!}
Troy Franklin: Keira pulls off the victory!
Duke King: Out of nowhere! Crystal has no one to blame but herself for that loss.
{Keira rolls out of the ring as Crystal begins pounding the mat in frustration. Keira has her hand raised by the ref outside the ring as "Sinner" begins again.}
Troy Franklin: Is this to be considered an upset? Keira Fisher just beat Crystal Hilton.
Duke King: Crystal may have been more focused on something else here tonight, and she may have overlooked Keira.
{Crystal continues to complain as Keira makes her way up the ramp as we go to the back.}
{The camera zooms in outside the arena as a taxi cab speeds up to the back entrance and comes to a screeching halt. The back door flies open and Sidney Grey half falls to the ground as she scrambles out, phone in hand. Her personal Assistant, SoLo hops out last, handing the cab driver wads of cash as she struggles with Sidney’s baggage. Sidney glares at SoLo.}
Sidney Grey: THIS ISN’T A COINCIDENCE!! SOMEONE INTENTIONALLY CANCELLED OUR TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS TO MAKE US LATE FOR THE SHOW!!
{Sidney punched in the number for the LAW main office, but again she was put on hold. She screamed as she threw the phone, sending it sailing into the wall and exploding into hundreds of pieces.}
Sidney Grey: WHY IS NO ONE ANSWERING MY CALLS?!!
{Beads of sweat rolled down SoLo’s face as she struggled with the heavy bags, running to open the door for her employer.}
SoLo: Ms. Grey…I…I don’t kn…know…I…
{Sidney glanced at her watch and swore under her breath. She only had a few minutes to get dressed and into the ring.}
Sidney Grey: I need to find Lucas!! I need to get this unveiling stopped!!
{As Sidney charged through the door, she ran headlong into Carmen Diaz as she was taking a moment to enjoy her latte, with extra foam. Both women screamed as the latte spilled all over Sidney, the foam flying in her face. Carmen’s eyes widened in shock as Sidney stood there shaking in an absolute rage.}
Carmen Diaz: Oh my God! Sidney…I am so sor…
{Sidney got right into Carmen’s face, rearing back her fist as she prepared to pummel the interviewer, causing her to back away. Suddenly, she heard her theme music starting to play from deep inside the arena. Sidney clenched her teeth, then leaned in, coming so close to Carmen that the foam that dripped down her face actually dripped onto the tip of the LAW Interviewer’s nose. Sidney poked Carmen hard in the chest.}
Sidney Grey: Apology…NOT ACCEPTED!!
{Carmen swallowed hard, raising her hands as Sidney turned and stormed off stripping off her wet clothes as her assistant chased after her, attempting to get her dressed for her match which was moments from starting.}
{“Get Well Soon by Reggie & The Full Effect” blasts all over the speakers. As it does the beautiful Cindy Warren emerges from the back accompanied by her brother in law Todd. She smiles as she is wearing a stethoscope around her neck. She holds the end to the crowd to check the life of the crowd and they welcome her with loud cheers. She grins as she stretches her arms out and slaps the hands of the people cheering her on. She slides into the ring and slowly rises to her feet. She proudly raises her hands in the air and waits for her opponent to come out.}
Troy Franklin: Cindy Warren looks ready to go as always.
Duke King: She's got to feeling even better now that we know that Sidney has had no time to prepare, I mean, she just got here!
{The crowd cheered as Cynthia Warren stood in the center of the ring, ready for her match as Beth Harris announced her opponent. “Suffocate” by Cold began to play and the fans immediately broke into a chorus of boos for the hated reality star.}
Beth Harris: And her opponent, making her way down to the ring, hailing from Seattle, Washington by way of South Africa…SIDNEY GREY!!
{The boos continued, even though Sidney didn’t immediately come through the entranceway. At the announce position, Troy and Duke looked at one another, wondering if there would be a match tonight. After an uncomfortably long wait, Sidney burst through the entranceway, half falling down as she just managed to pull up her wrestling trunks, narrowly avoiding exposing her bare backside to the world. SoLo trailed behind her, as she hopped to the ring attempting to put on one of her wrestling boots.}
Troy Franklin: Well…errr…I guess we are going to get to see this match after all!
Duke King: Yeah…and we almost got to see a lot more than we had planned on seeing here tonight! A full moon over Michigan!
{The boos and laughter continued to rain down on Sidney as she made her way to the ring. Sidney climbed into the ring and snatched the microphone out of Beth’s hand, taking a moment to glance up at the giant banner hanging over the ring, still covered in velvet cloth. The camera zoomed in on Sidney as her face was still dripping with latte cream. Sidney glared at Beth, pointing for her to leave the ring.}
Sidney Grey: BEAT IT TRAMP!!
{The fans booed even louder, but Beth begrudgingly left the ring.}
Troy Franklin: That was completely uncalled for!
{SoLo began wiping the cream from Sidney’s face, but she shoved the young girl aside.}
Sidney Grey: Listen up! ALL OF YOU!! Unfortunately, the S.I. Magazine cover unveiling has been CANCELLED!! THERE WILL BE NO UNVEILING TONIGHT!!
{The fans gave a mixed response to the news, though it was deafening all the same.}
Duke King: What?!
{Sidney threw down the microphone as the bell sounded, but before the women could square off, “Superstar” by Lupe Fiasco began to play and Crystal Hilton walked out, microphone in hand and sporting an amused look on her face.}
Crystal Hilton: Sidney, Sidney…SIDNEY! If I have learned anything at all about this business…I have learned that you should never disappoint your fans. I mean, you have made a habit of doing just that, week after week with your horrible reality show!
{The building shook with laughter as Sidney turned red, her face a mask of pure anger. Sidney started towards Crystal, stepping through the ring ropes and onto the apron.}
Duke King: Oh! It’s about to be on between these two!!
Troy Franklin: We are going to see a fight here Duke!!
{Crystal held up her hand.}
Crystal Hilton: You can stop right there! After seeing what a hard time you had just making it from the airport to the arena tonight, I’d hate to see what might happen when you tried to make it back up this ramp!
{Sidney paused on the apron, her eyes growing wide as she realized that Crystal had been the reason for all of this.}
Crystal Hilton: Sidney, we have all had to sit around and listen to you crow about how much better you are than everyone else, like your crap don’t stink! Well…its time for a REAL reality check! You’re one of the crappiest people around, and now everyone around the world will know it!!
{Crystal signaled and the entire arena went dark accept for the spotlight that shown on Sidney and the massive banner hanging over the ring. The velvet curtain fell away revealing the S.I. magazine cover to everyone watching. Sidney screamed as the entire arena erupted into hysterical laughter.}
Duke King: OH MY GOD!! ARE YOU SEEING THIS?!!
{Troy doubled over with laughter, pounding the table with his fist. Sidney stood on the apron in near hysterics as SoLo attempted to console her. On the darkened entranceway, Crystal grinned sadistically as she walked off.}
Duke King: Crystal Hilton gets revenge for last week! Sidney is losing it on the apron!
{The crowd continued to laugh and cheer as the lights came back up and Sidney stood on the apron in a state of shock. The referee looked at Cynthia and shrugged as he started the count. The fans counted along with him as Sidney didn’t move or acknowledge them at all.}
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
EIGHT!
NINE!
{As the count reached nine, it was as if a switch had been turned on. Sidney darted back into the ring intending to catch Cynthia off guard, but she was ready for the attack. Cynthia ducked the wild haymaker and as Sidney turned around, she ran right into an STO followed by a lightning fast Koji Clutch.}
Duke King: THE CHECK UP!! SHE HIT IT!! SHE HIT IT!!
{Sidney screamed as Cynthia sunk the hold in deeply. The fans stood on their feet and roared seeing that the match was all but over. Sidney flailed wildly as she tried desperately to reach the ropes and break the hold, but she was hopelessly far away.}
Troy Franklin: OH! THIS IS OVER!!
{Sidney raised her hand to tap out, with tears streaming down her face. The entire arena seemed to hold its collective breath. Suddenly Sidney turned her head into Cynthia’s leg and managed to sink her teeth into her calf. Cynthia screamed as the referee dove in to break up the illegal counter.}
Troy Franklin: SHE JUST BIT HER!! DID YOU SEE THAT?!!
Duke King: How could I NOT?! What is the referee going to do here?!
{The referee broke the women apart as the fans booed. He admonished Sidney as Cynthia was angry beyond belief, screaming at the referee about being bitten. As the referee turned to Cynthia to check on her, Sidney ran around the referee, blindsiding Cynthia. When the referee attempted to stop her, she swung at him, narrowly missing as he rolled out of the ring. The fan’s chorus of boos rained down on Sidney, but she didn’t seem to hear them as she viciously stomped Cynthia. The referee signaled for the bell to ring, ending the action, but Sidney didn’t stop her assault.}
Troy Franklin: Oh, come on!! Someone stop this!!
{Sidney paused for a moment, staring at the Michigan crowd through the tangles of her cream encrusted hair, then flipped them off. She grabbed Cynthia by her leg and dragged her to the corner, straddling her legs on either side of the ring post.}
Duke King: Oh no! We saw her do this before Troy! This is getting out of hand!!
{Sidney wrapped Cynthia’s legs around the ring post and locked in the “Sid-Knee Lock” figure four as she hung upside down and Cynthia screamed in pain. The fans booed and the Time Keeper continued to bang on the ring bell. Sidney screamed manically as she refused to release the hold on Cynthia. SoLo, the referee, and Security rushed down to stop the attack, but Sidney held the hold, apparently intent on severely injuring the woman.}
Troy Franklin: This is ridiculous! Get her off of Cynthia!
{Surprisingly, Crystal Hilton sprints down the aisle and moves the rest of the security out of the way. She forcibly moves Sidney's legs and breaks the hold. She begins attacking Sindey, which forces Roxi Johnson and the other Officials and the rest of the security team move Sidney away from the ringside area, separating Crystal and Sidney. The security holds each woman back while Roxi has enabled the medical team to check on Cindy.}
Troy Franklin: Crystal is out here! Now Crystal and Sidney are going at it! Security is separating them!
Duke King: Cindy is lucky right now. She may have been severely injured if Sidney had done any more damaged. She looks like damaged goods right now anyway.
{Crystal and Sidney are still trying to get at one another, while Cindy is still yelling in pain as the medical staff check on her as we go to commerical.}
{The Doc comes out of the curtain and walks to the ring, she is hot and has sweet jugs.}
{Zelda's theme kicks on as the LoZ remix starts off with smoke filling the entrance ramp. "Smells like Teen Spirit" by One Ok Rock hits now and the strobe lights around the ramp begin flicking on and off as Zelda slowly steps out with her arms stretched out, the music picks up and Zelda sprints to the ring. She hops onto the nearest turnbuckle and plays to the crowd for a bit. When the music dies down, she jumps down and waits for the match to begin.}
Troy Franklin: And there's the bell. This match is underway.
{Both women cautiously circle, before locking up. Doc manages to clamp on a side headlock, and begins wrenching for all she's worth. Zelda twists out into a top wristlock. Doc and Zelda struggle for control, each trying to gain the advantage on the wristlock. Zelda breaks off and twists into a hammerlock. Doc looks around, trying to find an escape, and swings her free arm over, pulling her locked arm away, and wrings Zelda's arm forcing Zelda to a knee. Doc applies the arm bar as Gib looks on from the outside approvingly.}
Troy Franklin: Gotta be tough for Gib, watching his wife and daughter wrestle each other.
{Doc keeps the arm barred, but Zelda is able to roll out, roll to her feet and reverse to an arm wringer, and then an arm bar of her own. Doc continues to try to get up, but each time she makes it to a knee, Zelda applies more pressure. Doc is able to crawl a few steps, and eventually makes it to the rope, forcing the break.}
Troy Franklin: And the ref force the break.
Duke King: This is what the Doc has to avoid. She does not have the wrestling expierience of Zelda, so she cannot try to match holds with Zelda, otherwise she's going to be in for a long night.
{The two lock up again and Doc is able to surprise Zelda with an arm drag. Zelda looks up at Doc, who moves in, trying to push the pace. Zelda is able grab Doc's arm, wring it, tuck it in, and bring Doc over with a modified fireman's carry/northern lights suplex. Zelda quickly covers, but Doc kicks out before the ref even gets down. Doc gets up, and charges Zelda, who instantly hits a drop toe hold, and then floats into a side headlock. Doc slaps the mat in frustration.}
Troy Fanklin: And now it looks like Doc is clearly off her game right now.
Duke King: Again, Zelda is wrestling, and that is one of the Doc's weak points. Zelda knows exactly what she's doing.
{Doc gets to her knees, and then back up, driving elbows into Zelda's gut to break the hold. Doc fires off some forearm shots, and then a discus elbow that drops Zelda. Doc goes for the cover 1... Zelda kicks out. Zelda gets up, but Doc is all over her, throwing her face-first into the top turnbuckle. Spinning Zelda around, Doc begins driving hard shoulders into Zelda's gut. After 3 shots, Doc winds up and drives a nasty elbow to Zelda's face. The ref has to back up the super aggressive Doc, who won't let Zelda out of the corner. Doc moves back in, but that little rest is all Zelda needed for a quick punch to the gut that stuns Doc. Doc doubles over, and Zelda gets a few more shots in before getting to her feet. Zelda then goes for the Irish whip, but Doc reverses. On the rebound, Doc goes for a hiptoss, but Zelda counters in mid-air and turns it into a monkey flip that has Doc land hard on her tailbone. Zelda makes her way over to the Doc, and goes for an Irish whip of her own, but Doc twists out and pulls Zelda in for a belly-to-belly suplex! Doc stays on top for the cover 1....2...Zelda kicks out.}
Troy Franklin: And the Doc has turned it up here in this match.
Duke King: But that's what she has to do. She has to stay on top of Zelda and keep the pace going.
{Doc pulls Zelda to her feet, and positions her for a vertical suplex. Doc completes the move, and then floats into the cover 1....2....Zelda kicks out again. Doc looks to Gib who encourages her on, and Doc stands and leans against the ropes, waiting for Zelda to get up. When she does, Doc charges looking for a clothesline, but Zelda ducks. Doc turns around, and Zelda goes for a kick, which Doc catches, but Zelda instantly jumps up with an Enziguiri that drops Doc to the ground. Zelda gets up, and as Doc get to her knees, Zelda hits the ropes and connects with the Chrono Trigger![Shining Wizard] Zelda makes the cover 1.....2....Doc rolls the shoulder.}
Troy Franklin: Doc BARELY got out of that one.
{Zelda then positions Doc and goes to the top rope. She balances, and jumps off, looking for the Mass Effect,[Diving double foot stomp] but Doc rolls out of the way. Zelda lands on her feet, not really taking any damage. Doc is up in a flash, and grabs Zelda in a rear waistlock, looking for a German suplex, but Zelda blocks. Doc tries again, But Zelda blocks again. Zelda switches, and Doc throws a wild elbow that Zelda ducks, which turns Doc around, Zelda does a double leg pick up and holds Doc's legs, and begins stepping through, looking for the Triforce, [Sharpshooter] but Doc manages to kick her away. Doc back rolls to her feet, and Zelda charges, only to be met with a super stiff clothesline!}
Duke King: LARIATOOOOOO~
Troy Franklin:Doc almost beheaded Zelda with that clothesline!
{Doc is down but then makes the cover. 1......2.....3NO! Zelda BARELY rolls the shoulder. Doc holds her head in her hands, in disbelief that Zelda kicked out. Zelda slowly rolls to her stomach as Doc is now even more flustered. Doc stands and motions for Zelda to do the same. Zelda gets up, and Doc unloads with a few jabs that stun Zelda, then a heavy haymaker that drops her to the canvas. Doc again goes for the cover! 1.....2....Zelda again rolls the shoulder! Doc slaps the mat in frustration, and then gets up, and positions herself behind Zelda. Zelda is able to stumble up, and Doc goes for the Mental Health [Backdrop Driver] but Zelda flips out of it! Zelda hits the ropes behind Doc, and as Doc spins around, she is taken off her feet with a running DDT! Zelda covers! 1....2....3NO! Doc rolls the shoulder! Doc is little dizzy as she gets up and finds solace in the corner. Zelda sees Doc in the corner and charges, but Doc ducks out of the way. Zelda lands on the middle rope, and jumps onto the top rope, but before she can turn herself around, Doc pushes Zelda's legs out from under her, forcing Zelda to crotch herself on the top turnbuckle. Doc takes advantage quickly, climbing the middle rope, and hooking Zelda up from the top rope, and then connecting with a SUPER MENTAL HEALTH!}
Troy Franklin: OH MY GOD! SUPER MENTAL HEALTH!
Crowd: HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT!
{Doc slowly rolls a limp Zelda over and drapes her arm across her. 1.....2.......3!}
Troy Franklin: THE DOC! SHE WON THIS THING!
Duke King: I....I'm speechless Troy, that was insane!
{"Locked out of heaven" begins as Doc rolls off Zelda and the two lay on the canvas. Gib slides in, checking on the welfare of both his daughter and his wife. Doc is able to get to her feet, albeit slowly, and Zelda remains down, but is moving. Soon enough, Zelda is able to use the ropes and stand up, and she looks at Doc, who has her hand extended. Zelda thinks for a minute, then shakes it!}
Troy Franklin: Tremendous show of sportsmanship there!
Duke King: What a match that was!
Troy Franklin: Ladies and Gentlemen, what a show it was tonight, and we'll be back on July 13th, with more L.A.W. action! For Duke King, I'm Troy Franklin saying, Goodnight everybody!
{We fade on Gib between Zelda and Doc, raising their hands together.}
