While the total dollar amount that was raised for charity has not yet been made public, what did come to the public’s attention was the fact that the organization that the host chose to represent, Lancaster House, refused to accept any donations from proceeds raised by Grey-Lacklan. The non-profit organization founded by Tammy Lancaster, lends desperately needed assistance to victims of abuse, sexual and domestic violence, and at-risk teens. The Informer broke the story yesterday and confronted Grey-Lacklan during the event, but she passed off the story as a ‘misunderstanding’ between her and Lancaster.
This morning, the ‘misunderstanding’ was found out to be anything but when Ms. Lancaster released the following statement…
“Lancaster House will not be accepting any donations from Kenzi Grey or any organizations or people associated with her. While our charity is always in need of assistance, financial or otherwise, we will never cheapen our cause by accepting what is tantamount to a bribe or hush money from anyone who doesn’t truly support the fundamentals of our cause. We are grateful to the stars that showed up at her event last night to help other causes, but we will not be accepting any donations from them as well.” – Tammy Lancaster
Ms. Lancaster refused to be interviewed or elaborate on her issues with the CTN star, but she did make it clear that she would not hesitate to release another statement if Grey-Lacklan forced the issue.
