Well, you guys can obviously tell and it's been coming for a while. The shows are getting later and later and it's becoming more or less a chore for me to write matches anymore. I'm just burnt out. So, having said that, the time has come for LAW to close down.
It may not have been my ideal way to close it down, I had figured that this year would be the last for LAW anyway, but I just couldn't make it to the end of the year. The past couple of months I have literally been dreading every show week and the prospect of writing 4-5 matches and then waiting on a segment or two. Writing matches and maintaining this place has become work, not fun. And when it reaches that point, it was time to walk away.
With the way e-fedding is now, most places aren't even do rp-based stuff anymore, and it's hard for me to write matches when people aren't going to rp for them at all anyway. BUT let me just say that none of the reason LAW is closing is on you guys, it's on me. You guys have been kicking ass and busting out really good stuff for the past 5 years, everyone has. It's simply not fair to you that I am so behind on everything and you're waiting and waiting and I'm just not in the mood to write results. So, rather than leave you hanging, and dragging behind and keeping the corpse, it's in the best interest of everybody to shut it down now so that people can continue on with stuff their doing and not be concerned with this place when other places are doing far better.
So, with that, LAW is closing down and I need to thank everyone who has contributed to helping me in the past 5 years making the place go. Because it's you guys who kept the fire burning and kept making the place enjoyable to be part of. So, from me to all of you, a sincere thank you is an order. You put up with me and the delays, the lack of drive and everything else, and you all made this place an enjoyable experience for me.
I told many others that this would most likely be the last fed I run, and I said a long time ago, if it went six months I would be happy. 5 years has made me proud. Now it's time to just rest.
I do apologize to Dan, Maya Jensen, Shane, Megan, Todd, Maggie, and everyone else who had story ideas and angles for this coming ppv we were headed towards, and others who were either just starting or building nicely, but looking at the fact that this show isn't even done, and the PPV being long format, I was dreading it entirely. I would have loved to see the angles play out but it just felt like a ridiculous task that would have taken even longer than this. And again, that's not doing your hard work justice.
So, with that all out of the way, It's been a fun ride, but it has come to an end. Sooner than I would have liked, but this is, having giving it a considerable amount of thought, how it ends.
Thank you, Ladies and Gentlemen. It was an honor.
