Theme Song: “Bad Crush” by Guilty Pleasure
The sounds of a roaring crowd is heard throughout the arena and the lights a suddenly shut off. Hundreds of flashes of light bulbs going off are seen and heard around the entranceway as “Bad Crush” by Guilty Pleasure begins to play. Kenzi and Kate emerge through the entrance as a spotlight appears. Kenzi moves quickly around Kate to stand in front of her with her arms outstretched as she hogs the spotlight. Kate rolls her eyes as she walks pass Kenzi and heads down the aisle slapping hands with the fans. Kenzi walks down the other side of the ramp and fans stick their hands out, but she ignores them all the way down to ringside.
Kate starts to head up the stairs, but Kenzi runs in front of her to get to the ring first. Kenzi stands on the apron and waits for Kate to hold the ropes for her, but Kate climbs inside, ignoring her completely. Kate ascends the turnbuckle raising her hands as the fans roar. Kenzi climbs the turnpost from the ring apron and gives the fans one more photo opportunity as she sits atop the turnbuckle, blowing kisses and smirking at the fans. She hops down, finally entering the ring as Kate finally climbs down. Kenzi stands beside Kate, leaning her elbow on her shoulder, irritating the pink haired icon.
(Kenzi will typically take the microphone from Beth Harris and address the fans, usually off-handedly offending them as she pretends to go for the cheap pop by mentioning their town, landmarks, or sports teams. Kate will take the microphone from Kenzi and attempt to fix whatever damage Kenzi has done.)
TAG TEAM DYNAMICS
This unlikely duo constantly seems on the verge of self-destruction. It's no secret that these stable leaders don't like each other, but their mutual ties to CTN have forced them together. In a constant game of one-upsmanship, these two attempt to outdo the other at ever turn. While Kate demonstrates technical prowess, Kenzi cheats on an epic scale, always attempting to steal the win, not only for her team, but from her teammate.
While Kate works hard to be the consummate professional and all-around good guy inside the ring, Kenzi is working hard as the bad influence that finally destroys this team...or finally brings Kate into her way of thinking.
