As I sat in my hospital bed, I could feel my entire body singing from the enormous beating that Alexis Blake had given me at Queen of the Ring. I hadn’t lost…but I hadn’t won either, despite that I felt like I had let myself down and more importantly my friends who were in attendance; Missy, Melissa Reaves, and Katie Anderson. In particular I felt even worse for Katie. Alexis had attempted to torpedo Katie’s relationship with Melissa by exposing a dark secret from her past. It was all because they had dared to be friends with me…so that officially made it my fault!
I had come at Alexis with everything I had and I had put her down…but I couldn’t keep her down. She always fought back up and then she fought even harder. We had torn up the arena and we had torn up each other…we had probably stolen the show, but none of that mattered to me anymore. My failure was the only thing on my mind…that and where I went from here. I only wanted to destroy Alexis and then move on to get a shot at the Chaos Championship…now…I was at a loss on where to go from here.
I was tired of lying in bed, alone with my failure, so I asked for the nurse to wheel me outside to the physical therapy area. I wasn’t in any condition to rehab…I could barely move, but they were live streaming the rest of Queen of the Ring and I wanted to look at it, even if my night was over. As she wheeled me in and parked me in front of the television, I heard another nurse coming in…
“Hey, just park her over there next to her friend, they can watch television together…”
One of my eyes was nearly swollen shut, but I saw enough when I glanced over and saw Alexis Blake being wheeled up next to me. She was probably just as shocked to see me…though I doubt not nearly as upset. I wanted to continue our war right then and there…but what little strength I had left seemed to retreat from me, leaving me vulnerable, assuming she was in any better shape than I was. As she was pushed up next to me, we glared at each other, but all I could manage was; “Screw you Blake…”
I pulled out my phone to send a text to Parker or any of my friends…if this fight was going to continue, I wanted them to know what was happening…
