{A black screen. After some time, We get the usual intro, then we get more LAW event highlights, and then Amy Jo Smyth, Amirai Reilley, The Boardwalk Angels, Etsuko, and Sam Tolson holding up their respective titles. We cut from that to a live wide shot of the audience as they cheer wildly as "Fighter" by Christina Aguilera playings We go to Troy, Skye, and Duke, already sitting down.}
{Sidney Grey sat in the locker room as she agonized over the contract that Sarah Selena Lacklan had modified to give Kenzi Grey complete control over her mother. Sid shook her head and slid the contract away from her, face twisting in disgust.}
Sidney Grey: NO! I can’t sign that! She has too much power! I am supposed to be the manager and advocate! I can’t work like that…she can undermine me at every turn!
{Across the room, Kenzi Grey stood there with a disinterested look on her face as Sarah left her side and slammed her fists on the table.}
Sarah Selena Lacklan: Damn it Mother! You told me that you wanted to reconnect with your daughter…my fiancé…and this is it! It is clear that you sought to damage her in-ring career, this contract ensures that you will not…and you can finally find a way to normalize your relationship with my Beloved. Signing is in YOUR best interest!
{Sid glared at Sarah and then down at the contract. She glanced up at Kenzi.}
Sidney Grey: I suppose you DON’T want me to sign it, huh?
{Kenzi shrugged, still not looking at her mother.}
Kenzi Grey: Sign it…don’t sign it…I don’t care. I am doing this for Selena…you could die in a fire for all I care.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: MACKENZIE!!
{Kenzi rolled her eyes and walked away as Sarah turned and glared at Sid.}
Sarah Selena Lacklan: I told you that I lost my mother when she birthed me. I never had a chance like you have and I would KILL for it…to even have a chance at a terrible relationship is better than none. I get it, you don’t want her wrestling…you don’t want her in a lesbian relationship…neither of those things are going to change whether you sign or not! What will change is that you will have the opportunity that I never had!
{The girl’s peculiar red eyes welled with tears as she pushed the contract back to Sid.}
Sarah Selena Lacklan: SIGN IT!
{Sid sat there, staring at Sarah. Slowly, she picked up the pen…letting it hover over the paper as she looked at Sarah.}
Sidney Grey: I like you…but you will NEVER marry my daughter…
{Sid scribbled her name on the papers and slid them away from her in a huff. She stood up, looking at the two of them.}
Sidney Grey: Good luck tonight…to both of you.
{Sid walked out as Sarah watched her go, collecting the papers and handing them to one of her handmaidens to deliver to Dani Chow. Kenzi walked over and rested her head on Sarah’s shoulder.}
Kenzi Grey: She’s never going to stop trying to break us up…you know that.
{Sarah stiffened, her eyes staring straight ahead, then she found Kenzi’s hand, with the massive black engagement ring and brought it to her lips with a gentle kiss. She echoed the final words of her mother before she passed.}
Sarah Selena Lacklan: Have faith, Beloved…have faith.
{Milisandre and Maria come together in a collar-and-elbow tie-up, each jockeying for position. Maria is able to use her slight size advantage and push Milisandre into the corner where she gives her a clean break. The crowd applauds Maria’s fair play as she back away with a smile. Milisandre, on the other hand, just kinda looks...bored. But she comes out of the corner quickly and the two are back into a tie-up, the speed of Milisandre catching Maria by surprise and letting the Oregon native take advantage and slide through into a rear waistlock. Maria tries to thrown an elbow to push Milisandre off but finds herself lifted up and taken to the mat with a greco-roman takedown! Milisandre lifts up and drops a quick knee onto Maria’s back, turning her surprised expression to one of pain. Milisandre stands up and drops another knee, this one causing Maria’s back to curl, and she takes advantage but wrapping up her knees with one hand and cupping her chin with the other. With a look to the crowd, Milisandre rocks back and flips Maria up and over into a bow and arrow!
The crowd cheers for the rare move, set up and executed perfectly, as the nameless refer asks if Maria wants to quit, but LAW’s favorite mobster shakes her head no emphatically. Milisandre pulls back harder, causing a cry of pain, but Maria still says no and is eventually able to pry Milisandre’s fingers from her chin and slip out of the hold. Maria scrambles to the ropes for a breather, holding her back, as Milisandre retreats to a corner. And looks bored. Again.
Maria gets to her feet with a stern expression, her normal laughter forgotten after such a poor showing thus far motions for Milisandre to fight her as she walks to the center of the ring. Milisandre again comes out of the corner with sudden speed, but the relative veteran Maria ducks under the rushing arms and hits the ropes, leaping and spinning on the rebound and catching Milisandre in the face with a spinning heel kick that gets a cheer from the crowd! Realizing that she is not as prepared for this match as she should have been, Maria immediately goes for a cover, hoping to score a pin and get the hell out of there, but Milisandre kicks out after one.
Maria pulls Milisandre up to maintain control and hits her with a few slaps to stun her then sends her into the ropes with an Irish whip and brings her over and down with an armdrag. She tries to maintain control with an armbar but Milisandre shakes her head to clear the cobwebs and slides first to her knees and then to her feet. Maria tries to keep the arm lock, even sneaking in a slap, but Milisandre takes control by spinning through the lock and reversing the move! Maria screams in shocked pain as Milisandre swings the arm around and down with a wringer, nearly wrenching the shoulder from its socket! Maria tries to get some distance but Milisandre is on top of her, grabbing the arm again and wrapping it around Maria’s own body, locking in a standing Kimura! Milisandre, still looking bored, tries to ground Maria with the intent to grapevine, but Maria is able to scramble for the ropes and force a break.
Milisandre shows a little emotion with a grimace as she lets go of the hold at the faceless referee’s insistence, but she doesn’t allow Maria to gain much rest. As soon as Maria steps away from the ropes, Milisandre is behind and driving a series of knees into her weakened back, adding more and more concussive damage. Maria frantically swings around, catching Milisandre in the face with a slap, and gives herself a little space to leap and hit a desperation dropkick! She shakes her head on the mat, no doubt cursing herself for taking the rookie lightly from the moment they were booked, and tries to loosen up the knots forming in her back. Needing to finish the rookie immediately if she had a hope of winning, Maria grabs Milisandre’s arms in a double underhook as soon as she got to her feet and spins her, looking for the Off With Her Head, but Milisandre is able to slip out of the move and spin, ending up facing Maria’s back. And with a look of actual excitement on her face, Milisandre lunges forward and slips on a rear naked choke!
Maria’s eyes bug out and her face turns red as she tries to escape, but Milisandre has the move locked in tightly. It is only through dumb luck that Maria’s flailing hands catch Milisandre in the eye with a finger, and the rookie has to release the hold in the sudden pain. But as soon as Maria turns around, holding her throat and trying to breath in big gulps of precious air, Milisandre has recovered and, hooking a shoulder and leg, flings Maria up and over with a massive exploder suplex! The crowd roars as Milisandre pulls Maria to the center of the ring and flips her over, hooking their heels together. She looks over at the crowd, smirking, before flinging herself backwards in a high bridge and lacing her fingers under Maria’s chin. She pulls upwards, locking in her Decay. It takes only seconds for Maria’s back to give out and for her to scream out that she quits, giving Milisandre a debut submission victory}
{Milisandre Crowthorne walks back through the curtain proud of herself for her successful LAW debut over Maria Salvatore. A few staff members offer her congratulatory comments, but the young woman avoids their gaze and attempts at conversation, instead shying away quickly towards the lockeroom. Unfortunately for her, she is being stalked by a little ball of red and black chaos.}
Sarah: MIL! MIL! MIL! MIL! MIL! MIL! MIL! MIL!
{Poor Milisandre had no chance. Turning around, Sarah Lacklan tackles her to the ground and Milisandre can see and hear nothing but red and black puffery, shockingly white hair, and high-pitched giggles.}
Sarah: CONGRATULATIONS!
{Sarah lets out a squeal of delight as she squeezes her friend as if trying to pop her back and Milisandre can do nothing but bear with the assault.}
Milisandre: Um...thanks, I guess?
{Sarah gives her one of her exaggerated eye rolls and pulls her to her feet.}
Sarah: You did AWESOME out there! Hell, you even made her tap out, and I TOTES love seeing bitches tap out. You are gonna do so aweso-
{A steel chair suddenly crashes down on Sarah’s head! Milisandre looks on in shock as Kate Steele follows through with her sneak attack swing and crashes into her and sends her flying. Kate then immediately starts raining down chair shots on the downed Lacklan.}
Kate: That’s for last week, bitch! I’m the fucking Siren! Not so hot without your girlfriend here, huh?!
{She slams the chair into Sarah’s back a few more times before Milisandre is able to recover and push the former LAW champion away and knock the chair out of her hands. Kate smiles at the carnage she caused as LAW staff members rush onto the scene and crowd Sarah and Milisandre.}
{The two circled to start the match and Angelica quickly took advantage with a knee to the midsection. She then took Laura and rammed her face-first into the top turnbuckle. She then backed Laura into the rope and threw her off, catching her with a back elbow and knocking her down. Angelica moved back in but Laura kicked her away Angelica rushed Laura but took and arm drag and a dropkick for her troubles. Laura climbed the ropes and attempted a top rope cross-body, but Angelica casually stepped aside and Laura splatted on the canvas. Angelica wasted no time in applying the Ew! [Mandible claw] causing Laura to tap out almost instantly. Angelica got the win and her hand raised, brushing her shoulders off before exiting.}
"Stand on the box, stomp your feet, get clappin’
Got a real good feelin’ somethin’ bad about to happen"
{Even all the way across the country from their stomping grounds, the Boardwalk Angels still get a big reaction when “Somethin’ Bad” by Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood starts to play and they step out onto the stage. Zoey Madigan-Star and Farrah Cornett stop at the top of the ramp and hold up the tag team championships as the fans continue their cheering. Draping the belts back over their shoulders, the two women walk down the ramp toward the ring, meeting the hands of the LAW faithful as they make their way into the squared circle.}
Beth Harris: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the LAW Tag Team Champions… the BOARDWALK ANGELS!
{Both women ascend the turnbuckles, holding the belts up again as the song continues to play, though it cuts out as they drop back down and head to mid-ring with Farrah pausing to accept a microphone from Beth Harris. Red Chuck Taylors, torn and faded blue jeans and a red-and-white New Jersey Devils jersey adorn Farrah Cornett as she holds up the mic… but then has to pause as the fans are still rather loud.}
Troy Franklin: Seems that almost no matter where we go, these two get a lot of love from the fans.
Duke King: They’ve earned that reaction, Troy, not just in the ring but out of it.
Skye Sparks: They haven’t earned it from me. I still say they’re a flash-in-the-pan team just waiting to be dethroned.
Duke King: And, just like the rest of the baseless detractors Skye, you can enjoy continuing to be wrong.
{Zoey stands behind and to the right of her partner, a sleeveless black-and-purple hoodie with the hood up and covering her face is worn over a long-sleeved white top, jeans and black boots. Usually Zoey is the brighter, happier Angel but tonight it seems that Farrah has taken that spot. Farrah turns to her, gets a nod, then turns back to the fans.}
Farrah Cornett: What do you say we get right down to business? Last week, Kayla Winters and I stepped into the ring, one on one, and had us a fine throwdown. We beat the hell out of one another and credit where it’s due: you gave me a fight I didn’t know you had in you, Kayla. But then, of course, Sister Christy decided to stick her prodigious proboscis into our business. Gentlemen in the truck, if you’d be so kind?
{Giving the queue to the big screen, the Angels as well as the fans turn to watch the replay of the match in question. Both Kayla and Farrah laid in the heavy hits, but at the match’s conclusion, while Farrah had Kayla locked in the Twist and Scream, Christy drew the disqualification by attacking Farrah, along with Kayla, until a chair-wielding Zoey Madigan-Star, cast and all, came charging in to break things up. The two teams stared one another down in the aftermath and we then cut back to the ring. Zoey’s still staring up at the screen while Farrah is laughing to herself quietly.}
Farrah Cornett: Still can’t decide what you want to be can you, Kayla? One moment you’re talking about may the best woman win and the next you’re helping your sister stomp the hell out of me because you couldn’t get the job done on your own. Do you want to be a badass, girl, or do you want to fight the good fight? Because I’m getting sick of trying to figure out where you’re coming from. Life’s so much simpler for me when I can walk that aisle, slide into this ring and get to work without wondering if I have to have eyes in the back of my head. Not that I need them…
{She turns to Zoey, who nods slightly. A faint smile is visible under the hood but for the most part the Magical Maiden hasn’t lifted her head since entering the ring. Farrah turns back to the camera, leaning on the ring ropes a bit.}
Farrah Cornett: If you two really want a knockdown, drag-out fight, though… really… all you have to do is ask. You see, Queen of the Ring is coming up and so far, neither Zoey nor myself are slated for a match. And we get it; the tournament is a big deal. We’re looking forward to seeing who comes out on top ourselves, aren’t we, Zee?
{Again, a nod from Zoey, who remains silent.}
Troy Franklin: Okay, this is just strange. It isn’t like Zoey Madigan-Star to be the reticent one of the Boardwalk Angels. She’s always front and center, smiling wide and talking loud.
Skye Sparks: Speak for yourself. I’m enjoying the moment. At least Farrah gets to the point.
Duke King: I wouldn’t be surprised if it has to do with her recent injury. A match with Jade Valentine led to her getting a fireball thrown at her face. Right now, Zoey’s right eye is blind and word is it’s staying that way for at least another eight weeks or so.
Skye Sparks: So… is she Elephant Girl under that hood or what?
Duke King: All of a sudden you care now? Spare me.
{Farrah keeps right on going, now almost glaring into the camera.}
Farrah Cornett: But we’ll be damned if a pay-per-view will come and go without the Boardwalk Angels putting their LAW Tag Team Championships on the line. We’re fighting champions and the best team in this company. We prove it every time we step into this ring. The Queen of the Ring is what will put butts in seats, but we’re the duo that’ll get them standing up and cheering their heads off!
{Stepping forward now, Zoey gestures for the microphone. Farrah can be seen to say “are you sure?” though it isn’t heard. Nodding, Zoey accepts the microphone and, after a moment’s hesitation, pulls her hood back. There’s still evidence of burns on the right side of her face, and her eye as well as most of the area around it is covered by a black-and-purple eye patch.}
Troy Franklin: Ouch… that looks like it was rather painful, doesn’t it?
Skye Sparks: Hopefully she learned something from the experience.
{Taking a moment to get centered, Zoey finally speaks up.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: It’s very simple, Dynasty: after our experiences with Guilty Pleasure, Farrah and I are taking a proactive stance where it comes to our championships. You obviously have a problem with us, so we’re going to offer you a chance to settle it. At Queen of the Ring, we challenge you to a match for THESE tag team championships.
{She takes the belt off her shoulder, holding it up high as Farrah, at her side, does likewise. The fans cheer hard for this one, obviously liking the idea of the Boardwalk Angels versus the Dynasty at Queen of the Ring!}
Troy Franklin: Most of the time it’s the challengers who throw down the gauntlet, but this time it’s the champions!
Duke King: Like them or not, that takes guts. Some champions would rather avoid title matches and defenses to extend their reigns...
Skye Sparks: Guess I gotta give them credit for that much; they’re not running scared.
{Putting the belts back where they belong, Zoey stares into the camera with her one good eye.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: But if you accept our challenge, know this: the match will be on our terms. Now I know what you’re thinking: always a catch. Considering, however, that we’re basically handing you a title match? You’re in no position to be complaining.
Farrah Cornett: I think it’s more like they want to know those terms are. They, and these awesome fans here in Portland…
{Cue crowd pop!}
Farrah Cornett: ...are just curious, right?
Zoey Madigan-Star: It’s called a Boardwalk Brawl. A come-as-you-are, falls-count-anywhere street fight. No count-outs, no disqualifications. We fight until we can’t fight anymore, then we get up and keep on fighting... all for the right to be LAW Tag Team Champions.
{Her smile proceeding to get bigger and bigger, Farrah is literally licking her lips at the thought of it. Zoey, serious for the most part, slowly starts to smile herself. Not her usual sweet, glowing smile, but somewhat of a wicked one.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: Think it over, ladies. Then, if you’ve got the guts to fight us one more time with the big prize on the line, the fortitude to put it all on the table and roll those dice… well, we aren’t hard to find. Just listen to the cheers of these fans and look for the gleam of this here gold.
Farrah Cornett: Angels always rise, Dynasty, but never higher than when our prizes are on the line.
Zoey Madigan-Star: So put your hair up and step up… and get ready to fly.
{“Somethin’ Bad” hits the speakers again and the Angels ascend the turnbuckles once more, holding the belts up high before leaving the ring and heading up the ramp.}
Troy Franklin: And there you have it, fans! The Dynasty has been challenged to a Boardwalk Brawl for the LAW Tag Team Championships by the champions themselves!
Duke King: I’m willing to bet that the Dynasty will jump on this opportunity! Who wouldn’t? Even in such a brutal match, there’s gold on the line!
Skye Sparks: I wonder if this boldness will backfire on the Angels, though. I like this fiery side they’re showing more of, but the Dynasty are not to be trifled with.
{The Angels pause at the top of the ramp, holding the belts up one last time before heading behind the curtain.}
{The bell sounded and Etsuko rushed Ashley right from the start, attacking her with hard kicks and forearms, taking Williams by surprise. Etsuko then hit Ashley with a butterfly suplex and covered her, but Ashley kicked away before two. Ashley scrambled to create distance, but Etsuko closed the gap, staying on Ashley with more clubbing blows. Etsuko backed Ashley into the corner and continued to pound on her and then drove her shoulder into the midsection in the corner. Etsuko then snapmared Ashley out of the corner and kicked her hard in the back. Then Etsuko smarted smiling, and had to be shocked from the floor by Nikki. This allowed Ashley to recover and start attacking Etsuko, hitting a snap suplex and then a rolling neck snap. Ashley then continued with hard right hands as Etsuko stood, throwing her into the ropes and hitting a dropkick. Etsuko went down and Ashley hit a standing moonsault for a two count.
Ashley then hit a northern lights suplex for another two count before going for a spinning heel kick, but Etsuko dodged and Ashley smacked the canvas. Etsuko then began to choke Ashley on the mat until the ref counted to 4 and Etsuko broke. Estuko repeated this action until another 4 count from the referee. Etsuko then pulled up Ashley and hit a body slam, before going for a back splash, but Ashley was able to roll away! Ashley used the ropes to pull herself up, still gasping for air from the choking. Etsuko charged, but Ashley moved and Etsuko hit the corner. Ashley then hit a German suplex with a bridge, but Etsuko managed to kick out before 3.
Ashley then stepped out onto the apron and hit a springboard splash, but also only garnered a two count. Ashley signaled for the end and went for the Erase/Rewind [Unprettier] but Etsuko countered and tried to push Ashley off, but Ashley hooked her head and connected with the It came from Monmouth county [Shiranui ] Ashley covered but again Etsuko managed to escape. Ashley then positioned Etsuko and climbed to the top rope, going for the Cr-Ash landing [Moonsault] but Etsuko rolled out of the way. Etsuko quickly managed to hit the Etsuko bunny hop [Double foot stomp to the face] and covered Ashley to get the win, surviving the match.}
{Shortly after their address toward the Dynasty, LAW cameras catch sight of Zoey Madigan-Star and Farrah Cornett backstage at the Portland Memorial Coliseum. They move down the hall with purpose, but are not so locked into tunnel vision that they don’t acknowledge people. Still a sign of a peculiar paradigm shift in the team, Farrah is the brighter of the pair while Zoey is quieter and calmer. Upon reaching an intersection, the two stop and turn to one another.}
Farrah Cornett: I need to make a call to James and the kids right quick.
Zoey Madigan-Star: Go ahead. I’m going to see Mr. Dupree about making this match official.
{The Jersey Hellcat chuckles quietly, shaking her head and hitching the title up a little higher on her shoulder.}
Farrah Cornett: Counting on those two taking the plunge, huh?
Zoey Madigan-Star: It would be stupid of them not to. Why should we wait for the office to set up challengers for us? The Dynasty obviously want another piece, so we’ll let them have it.
{Pausing, Farrah looks at her partner very seriously now, her expression betraying her concern.}
Farrah Cornett: Look, I get what you’re saying… just… relax, okay?
{A retort is about to spill out, but Zoey thinks better of it. She nods and attempts to give her partner a reassuring smile. They “clink” the titles and Zoey watches as Farrah heads off in the other direction. Turning on her heel, she starts making her way toward the office of Lucas Dupree… but several steps in that direction has her looking at a familiar face. Familiar in terms of Twitter anyhow. A recent signee to LAW, Roxy Cotton, is apparently attending the show to get a closer look at how things are run. And immediately Zoey’s blood runs hot. She stands where she is, watching the blonde until Cotton realizes she’s being watched.
Roxy turns and nearly walks right into Zoey, sneering and letting out an audible hiss as though Zoey was a fan interrupting her dinner.}
Roxy Cotton: Oh, excuse you… oh. Ohhhhh. It’s you.
{Roxy takes a step back, lifting her hands in a beg-off gesture.}
Roxy Cotton: Look, I’m not here to fight tonight…
{Staring at the woman with her one good eye, Zoey adjusts the championship on her shoulder and tucks a stray black strand behind her ear. She looks Roxy up and down almost coldly, though her voice is on the quiet side, standing out from her near-stoic expression.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: Neither am I, which is fortunate for you. But you are here, so let’s get something crystal clear right from the beginning so that there’s no tears or confusion on either side later.
{Taking a single step closer, Zoey locks on to Roxy, never taking her eye off the woman.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: One day, maybe a month from now, maybe a year from now… we’re going to be in that ring in front of thousands of people, staring one another down and preparing to administer beatings the way only our respective types can.
{Faintly, the magician’s lips curl upward. Very faintly.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: And on that night, for perhaps the first time in my career? I won’t care about winning.
{Roxy lets Zoey’s tone sink in, waiting for a pregnant moment before Roxy begins to smile a little and slowly chew her gum. She chuckles and then cocks her head to the side, finally locking eyes with Zoey and grinning wide.}
Roxy Cotton: Well, sweetie…
{She flips her blonde hair with her hand, the strands nearly slapping Zoey’s face.}
Roxy Cotton: If you’re so worried about me, and so worried about the things this mean girl says to you, then winning isn’t something I’d be worried about you doing either. Maybe you should learn to focus?
(Roxy chuckles again, then blows a large pink bubble in Zoey’s face, watching and waiting as it grows in size. Bringing up a purple-tipped nail, Zoey pops it before it touches her nose, chuckling softly to herself.}[/font]
Zoey Madigan-Star: My only concern about you is about how much punishment you can take before I put you out of everyone’s misery. And don’t you worry about my focus: once I set my sights on something, I don’t stop until it’s mine.
{She pats the championship to emphasize that point.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: So… good luck. Try to keep yourself healthy until I have the chance to face you one-on-one, hm? It would be very rude of you to go getting destroyed before I get my pound of flesh.
{Roxy then twists the broken bits of bubblegum around her finger and inserts it into her mouth, pulling it out slowly before beginning to chew and smile again.}
Roxy Cotton: Oh, that title belt on your shoulder is how you weigh your worth against me? Honey, everyone knows your little girlfriend won it for you and that you’re just lucky to be involved.
{Roxy actually reaches a hand out to touch the belt, smiling even wider. When she takes her hand away, Zoey calmly dusts off that spot on the belt as though a fleck of dirt or dust had landed on the medallion.}
Roxy Cotton: And if I wanted it? I’d have it any time I chose to. Believe me.
Zoey Madigan-Star: That’s the spirit. Keep chasing that little pink rainbow. Keep following those fluffy, sugar-coated dreams. But when you wake up, I’ll be the lighting that tears the sky apart and turns you into ash.
{After a few more moments of the women staring one another down, Zoey moves on down the hall as Roxy smirks after her, sarcastically blowing a kiss in Zoey’s direction before walking off, blowing another large bubble as she does so.}
{This match was certain to be a cluster and it lived up to that billing in spades right from the outset. Katalina Starr came to the ring with Jessika Hyde happily tethered to her, but before she could get into the ring, Karyn sprinted out and hit her from behind, all the while screaming for her to “LET MY SISTER GO!” Jessika immediately jumped on Karyn, yanking her off Kat as she choked her with the leash, then tossed her sister into the ring. Katie Klein came out and helped her mistress at ringside, though the two were officially adversaries in this contest. As Katie and Kat got to their perspective corners, the referee called for the official start to this match.}
Duke King: I wild and wooly start to this mixed up tag match from hell! It’s Dom vs Sub and Sister vs Crazy ass Sister!
{Jessika proceeded to savagely beat her sister in the center of the ring, even as Karyn refused to fight back, trying to convince her that she was not the enemy. Jessika would have nothing of it as she slammed her sister into the turnbuckle repeatedly and then took her over with a vicious, if not sloppy German suplex. Jessika stomped her sister and paced back and forth, glaring at Katie. The two screamed at each other and Jessika made a move to go after her, until Kat yelled for the two of them to stop. Jessika grinned like a psychopath as she got down on all fours and crawled backwards, stopping to capture her sister’s ring attire in her teeth and drag her back to the corner like a wild animal.}
Troy Franklin: This is the strangest thing that I have ever seen!
{Kat tagged in, patting Jessika on the head as the girl clung to her leg and licked her boot, glaring across the ring at Katie who seemed to be livid.}
Troy Franklin: Correction…that is the strangest thing I have ever seen!
Duke King: I’m gonna just agree…
{Kat took control of the match, dominating the beaten down Karyn. She put on a clinic as she bounced her tag team partner’s sister around the ring like a ping pong ball, showcasing the reason why she was a Queen of the Ring Qualifier. Kat sunk in her “Sweet Release” knee-bar and Karyn struggled in the hold as the fans cheered her on. Karyn cried out as she fought the crippling hold. She reached out to her sister, but Jessika just grinned and laughed manically.}
Duke King: That’s not even her partner!!
Troy Franklin: She’s trying to get through to her. Kat’s hold is obviously too strong…in and out of the ring.
{The fans chanted for Karyn as she pulled herself to the ropes and barely made the grab to break the hold. Tears streamed down her face, but there was no rest for her as Kat again went for the knee-bar. Karyn kicked her away and crawled to her corner, reaching out for her partner, but Katie hopped down, glaring at her. The fans booed as Kat latched onto her knee a second time and applied “Sweet Release.” Karyn screamed in pain and fought hard to get to the ropes. When she was nearly there, Katie bolted into the ring, only for the referee to stop her. The two argued as Karyn grabbed the ropes. Jessika hopped down and ran around and savagely bit her sister’s fingers until she let go. Kat drug her back to the center and cinched in the hold deeper, forcing Karyn to tap out.}
Duke King: That was some weird ass shit…
{Jessika jumped into the ring to celebrate with her Mistress, kicking her sister out and down to the floor. Katie stormed into the ring, only to be stopped from attacking Jessika by Kat. The Mistress held the two rivals for her affection at bay, much to the disappointment of the crowd.}
{The doors to the Trainer’s Room is thrown open and Carmen Diaz is forced to nearly leap out of the way to avoid being struck. Sarah Selena Lackland limps out like a war weary veteran with and angry Kenzi Grey helping her at her side. Carmen stops them, eager to get a word on the status of ‘The Firestarter.’}
Carmen Diaz: SARAH! Can you tell us if you’ve been cleared to participate in the match tonight after the vicious assault by Ka…
{Kenzi is livid as she snatches the microphone out of her hand.}
Kenzi Grey: SHE IS NOT GOING OUT THERE TONIGHT!! KATE STEELE IS A DEAD WOMAN AFTER I GE…
{Kenzi is cut off as Sarah puts her hand over the microphone and the two exchange a few heated words in private. Kenzi doesn’t seem happy, but Sarah takes the microphone from her, red eyes blazing fiercely.}
Sarah Selena Lacklan: I…will NOT…miss this…match…
{Sarah hands the microphone back to Carmen as she starts heading towards the entranceway.}
Carmen Diaz: But how wil…
{Kenzi shoves past Carmen, helping her wounded fiancé through the halls. As the two pass catering, they stop and look over at one of the tables and see Angelica Vaughn, Ashley Williams, Milisandre Crowthorne, and recent signee Roxy Cotton sitting at a table all together. Angie is busy trying to make Ashley watch kitten gifs on her phone; Roxy is berating catering for trying to server her “that same SLOP you serve to that pig Sam Tolson” on her first night in the company; and Milisandre is staring ruefully at the clock, wishing it would go faster so she could leave. Team Kickass stops and look at the quartet of misfits as Kenzi speaks up.}
Kenzi Grey: HEY! Save us a spot at the Cool Kid’s table after Sarah and I go out and kick these bitches asses, okay?
{The foursome look at one another and Angie and Ashley nod eagerly, Milisandre sighs with a shrug of indifference, and Roxy smiles, the rolls her eyes as she gives them the finger.}
Sarah Selena Lacklan: Those are the Cool Kids?
{Kenzi and Sarah look at each other with a shake of their heads. The two bump fists and far off in the distance, a Falcon screeches. The duo head towards the entrance to the ring together.}
{The bell sounded to start the battle royal with all 7 women eyeing each other catiously, then Abby and Gabby paired off, Stacy and La Estrella paired off, and Kenzi and Sarah eyeballed Kate, who quickly slid out of the ring and grabs a chair from ringside, and slid in with it. Sarah and Kenzi quickly slid out of the ring and Kate gave chase. In the meantime Gabby took Abby down with a suplex, and Stacy whipped La Estrella into the ropes, but Estrella stopped and quickly dropped a leg across Abby while she was down! Estrella popped up, ducking a Gabby clothesline attempt and hitting a neckbreaker. Stacy charged, only to get a dropkick to the knee from Estrella and then a low dropkick that connected with her chest and took her down. Estrella then quickly climbed the ropes and flew off at the standing Abby, who caught her, and connected with a fallaway slam! Abby then went to Gabby who used the ropes to stand up, and tried to eliminate her, but Gabby held on. Gabby managed to elbow Abby and keep her away, and Stacy then hit a nice t-bone suplex on Abby herself.
Outside the ring, security stood between Team Kickass and Kate, and the staff had to forcibly take the chair from her. Once it was out of her grasp, Team Kickass quickly attacked Kate and the three were in a melee on the floor. They battled back to ringside and Kate knocked Kenzi down with a forearm and then Sarah tackled Kate to the ground and the two battled. In the ring, Stacy knocked Gabby through the ropes to the floor with a dropkick, only to get caught with a hurricanrana from Estrella. Kenzi was cheerleading Sarah, even getting in a few stomps herself, before turning into Gabby on the floor who mowed her down with a clothesline. Gabby then tossed Kenzi back into the ring and then kicked Sarah in the back of the head to get her off Kate. Then for good measure, she stomped Kate too. She rolled back into the ring where Kenzi was there stomping her and then going for a choke. Abby then lended a boot to help Kenzi choke Gabby down. Kenzi was then nailed by Stacy, who then hit her with a back suplex. Stacy then nailed Abby and continued to attack her. Kenzi laid on the mat and La Estrella hit a picture perfect moonsault onto her! Estrella then tried to throw out Gabby, who was back up, but Gabby elbowed her away.
On the outside, Kate was now on top of Sarah and tossed her into the ring post, before re-entering the ring. She targeted Kenzi and started to choke her as well. Kate mounted Kenzi and nailed her with right hands, and then picked her up and tried to eliminate her. Kenzi held on for dear life, and Sarah was then pushing back on Kenzi, keeping her from going out. Gabby then came from behind and dumped both Kate and Kenzi, but both held on! However, Sarah grabbed Kate and yanked her to the floor, before pushing Kenzi back into the ring.}
ELIMINATED: KATE STEELE
{Kenzi got up mocking Kate as she was on the floor, only to get German suplexed by Gabby. Gabby continued to assault Kenzi, and Sarah tried to get in and help her, but Kate wouldn’t let her, attacking her on the floor. Stacy then hit a low clothesline on Gabby to knock her off, and then Stacy picked up Kenzi and tried to eliminate her! Kenzi again hung on even with Stacy using her foot to kick her out. Kate was escorted backstage by more security as Sarah slid back into the ring and attacked Stacy, saving Kenzi again. Sarah helped Kenzi up, but both members were mowed down by Abby, who then caught Gabby with a full-nelson slam and then nailed La Estrella with a big boot as they flew off the turnbuckle! Abby then pulled Stacy up and tossed her over, but Stacy hung on. Stacy skinned the cat to re-enter, Abby charged her again, but Stacy low bridged her and Abby went over the top to the floor!}
ELIMINATED: ABBY ADDICTION
{Abby was furious at ringside as Kenzi and Sarah then attacked Stacy in the ring, hitting a double suplex. Kenzi and Sarah high fived each other setting their sights on Gabby, standing in the corner. They charged, mauling her in the corner. Gabby tried to fight back but she was overwhelmed by both. They pulled her up and dumped her over the ropes, Gabby using her arm to stay upright. Both Sarah and Kenzi tried, even with Sarah then going through the ropes and pulling down on Gabby’s head. Gabby fought and fought to stay in the match, eventually punching Sarah and knocking her away, and then kicking Kenzi away to stay in. Sarah stumbled up, right into a missile dropkick from La Estrella! Estrella appealed to Stacy to help her eliminate Sarah and the two began to work at it. Sarah was kicking and screaming trying to stay in. Kenzi on the other side of the ring was tied up with Gabby, and pulled her to her feet, trying to throw her into the ropes, but Gabby reversed, and sent Kenzi into Stacy and La Estrella! The added momentum allowed Stacy and Estrella to eliminate Sarah!}
ELIMINATED: SARAH LACKLAN
{Sarah got up slowly outside the ring, and the momentum that eliminated Sarah also knocked Stacy and La Estrella down, so when Sarah looked up, all she saw was Kenzi. Kenzi shook her head and pleaded her case to Sarah but Kenzi was then nailed by a backstabber from Gabby. Sarah tried to stay at ringside, but security tried to get her to leave. Kate ran back down and she and Sarah continued to brawl! Gabby pulled Kenzi to her feet and then planted her with the Killzone, but La Estrella hit a running bulldog and took Gabby down. Estrella then climbed to the top rope and hit a beautiful frog splash onto Gabby! Estrella then stood up only to be met with a Stacy kick! Kenzi stumbled up with no idea where she was, and Stacy clotheslined her over the top to the floor! However, the referees and security were still trying to break up Kate and Sarah, and in the confusion, Kenzi slowly rolled back into the ring. Stacy and Gabby were now going at it, and Stacy again tried to eliminate Gabby. Kenzi then rushed over and dumped both Gabby and Stacy onto the apron, celebrating, but neither were eliminated. Gabby slid back in and tossed Kenzi back over the top rope to eliminate her a second time, but the brawl still prohibited anyone from seeing Kenzi go.
Kenzi again slid back into the ring and caught Gabby with a backstabber. Kenzi then motioned for Stacy and La Estrella to help her, giving them both a thumbs up, but neither Stacy nor Estrella made a move. Estrella then shrugged and hit a basement dropkick to Kenzi. Estrella then hit the ropes only to be elbowed by Stacy and dropped. Stacy then went to pull Gabby up, but Gabby countered and threw her into the turnbuckle. Gabby then tried to dump out Stacy, who held on for dear life. Kenzi then snuck up behind them and tried again to dump them both, but this time, Stacy held on, but Gabby was eliminated!}
ELIMINATED: GABBY CAMACHO
{Gabby was beyond angry at ringside as she looked at Kenzi’s smirking face. Kenzi waved good-bye and Gabby glared at her and re-entered the ring spearing Kenzi and unloading right hands. Security again had another fight to break up as Gabby was forcibly pulled from the ring Gabby was escorted away by security as Estrella climbed to the top rope and hit her frog splash on Kenzi! Estrella then jumped for a hurricanrana on Stacy, but Stacy held her up. Going towards the ropes. They both went over but again, both held on. The two battled on the apron trading punches, and Kenzi charged both, trying to knock them both off, but both women pulled top rope down and Kenzi sailed over, and was eliminated!}
ELIMINATED: KENZI GREY
{Kenzi hit the mat with a thud as both Estrella and Stacy looked at each other. Stacy was quicker on the draw however, and nailed Estrella with a boot knocking her down and off the apron eliminating her and winning the match!}
ELIMINATED: LA ESTRELLA
{Stacy got into the ring, a big smile on her face as her hand was raised in victory. Kenzi was the on the floor slapping the mat in frustration as Estrella nodded at Stacy before heading up the ramp. Stacy celebrated much to the fans delight in the ring.}
{As the two women stand in the center of the ring, Amy Jo Smyth requests a fist bump from Amirai Reilley. Reilly grants her wish and two champions fist bump. Smyth even goes far as to reach out and fist bump the referee. The bell rings and the two women begin dancing around the ring and each other, one reaching out for a lockup only to be slapped away by the other. The L.A.W. Champion decides to go low, catch the Marquee Champion’s leg, and bring her down to the mat. She slides up quickly, puts on a side headlock but Reilley reverses it quickly, turning it into a wrist lock. The only way Smyth can escape is by performing a backbend and pushing Reilley away. But not before snatching the ankle. That quickly turns into a modified knee bar. Reilley flips around, slams Smyth to the mat with her leg, and rolls back, making room. Both stand and somehow, Smyth still has a solid grip on Reilley’s ankle.
Reilley grabs the ropes and Smyth gently lets her leg down. The two make space between each other and begin the dodging dance. They finally meet up in the center for a lockup and strength test. Smyth has all the strength in this but she doesn’t use it. Instead, she falls to her back, rolls over, and traps Reilley in a wrist lock. She wrenches it so hard, Reilley falls to the mat. This only gives Smyth move leverage and she applies more pressure. Reilley gets to her feet and does a one handed cartwheel to relieve some of the pressure. Reversal! Reilley now has Smyth in a wrist-lock. Smyth is on her back now, trying to push Reilley off. Reilley adds more by pushing her knee into Smyth’s chest. Even still, Smyth is able to flip up to her feet, somersault, and break the hold with a sharp kick to Reilley’s hand. They break, make space, and go for the lock-up. Reilley does her own thing and catches Smyth’s leg instead, bringing Smyth down to the mat, and looking for an ankle lock. Smyth grabs the ropes. Reilley releases.
The two finally truly lock up and fight for control. Smyth gets Reilley in a headlock. Reilley counters by pushes herself off the ropes, sending Smyth flying. She launches herself off the ropes and using momentum and speed, flattens Smyth with a shoulder block. The two take a moment and meet up in the ring. Another lock up. Another attempt at wrist lock from Reilley. Smyth finds a counter and tries to put Reilley into a standing modified octopus stretch that focused on the wrist. Reilley gets free of that but Smyth stays on her, going for a full nelson stretch, wrenching the shoulders. Reilley hooks the ropes with her knee.
Again they meet in the center of the ring and go for wrist-locks and headlocks. Reilley scoops up Smyth, slides her over her back, and completes the gory special. Smyth screams out in pain but she refuses to give in. Somehow she breaks free and rolls Reilley into a small package. Reilley kicks free at two. The two glare at each other then back away to opposite corners. Smyth starts to work out her left shoulder, clearly showing the signs of what could be an injury. They meet up. Reilley catches the leg. Smyth counters, brings them both down the ring, and locks up the leg in a knee bar, looking to hyperextend the knee. Reilley keeps herself elevated, keeping the pressure off, then rolls over. Smyth stays on and even though Reilley fights, it quickly becomes a figure four leg lock. To add to it, Smyth puts pushes her free foot into the her knee, forcing it to open wider, stretch more. She then stands on it then grinds her elbow into the thigh muscle. Reilley screams out and shoves her middle finger into the face of Smyth. Smyth doesn’t take kindly to this and instead, twists and bridges the leg lock, making the move more intense.
Smyth starts flashing her own middle fingers, floating them up and down as she balances herself on her head. The Doctor of Submissions can’t hold the move for long and quickly pops upright and adds a front facelock, adding to pressure. They both roll backward and hit the ropes. The hold is broken and Reilley rolls to the outside. Smyth goes after her. Outside the ring, the two start exchanging punches. The former MMA fighter gets controls and starts slamming her fist into the face and head of Smyth. Reilley then starts clubbing the left shoulder of Smyth with closed fists and and heavy forearms. She tosses Smyth violently into the barricade shoulder first.
Reilley tries for more, lifting Smyth up, but Smyth gets ahold of her wrist, twists it, and traps it inside the metal barricade. She kicks it, crushing the fingers against the metal. Reilley is in serious pain and rolls back into the ring. Smyth follows. She pins Reilley’s head to the mat, grabs her already hurt fingers, and starts bending them backwards. Reilley fights to her feet. Another rope break.
Amirai Reilley falls into the corner. Amy Jo Smyth hits a European uppercut. Then another. Reilley stumbles into the next corner and falls down. Smyth pulls her out, hooks a modified armbar with her leg hooking the neck. Reilley reverses, turns into a pin. Smyth gets out at two. Reilley is in great pain and Smyth only adds to it by stomping on her fingers. Reilley defiantly charges to her feet. Smyth catches her in a dragon screw leg drop and pins her shoulders. Two count.
Smyth approaches Reilley. Reilley leaps to her feet and hits a superman style punch. Smyth is forced back. Reilley starts punching. She knife-edge chops Smyth in the top of the shoulder and follows that up with a clawhold to the muscle. She kicks Smyth in the stomach, forcing her to her knees. Reilley then turns that into a cobra clutch. Smyth fights and fights, starts elbowing Reilley in the ribs, and is only able to break free by standing, grabbing Reilley by the hair.
They retreat to corners. Smyth charges at Reilley. Reilley lifts herself up and Smyth crashes shoulder first into the turnbuckle. Reilley grabs her, rolls her out and up, pins the shoulders. Smyth frees herself at two. Smyth stands, gets hit in the face with an elbow, and then a hard smack. The Solitaire throws the Good Doctor into the ropes and when Smyth returns, plants her with a seated atomic drop. Smyth bounces into the corner. Reilley climbs to the second rope, mounts, and hits the ten count high punches. Reilley pulls her out and throws into the opposite corner. She charges.
Out of sheer desperation and survival, Smyth moves out of the way. She grabs Reilley, spins her around, and mounts her back. She gets on a body scissors, then an octopus, but doesn’t hold it. She turns her attention back to those fingers and that arm, bending the fingers back and twisting the arm. Reilley uses all her strength to counter, lifting Smyth up, and carrying her to the ropes. She plants Smyth with a hangman’s DDT. Smyth sits up, dazed. Reilley comes up behind her, pinches both shoulders with claws, and squeezes. Amy Jo Smyth starts scream and slamming her legs into the mat. This same motion enables her to wiggle forward and put her heel on the ropes.
Annoyed, Amirai Reilley locks on a double chicken wing. She holds it for a long time before Smyth climbs to her feet. This creates the perfect opportunity for Reilley to hit a tiger suplex. She bridges but Smyth gets out at two. Frustrated, Reilley moves to the corner. Hurt, Smyth moves to the corner, holding her shoulder. While the referee is tending to Smyth, a figure appears behind Reilley… }
Duke King: Is that? That’s Crystal Millar!
Troy Franklin: Crystal Millar has a bone to pick with Amirai Reilley - and she’s still after that Marquee Title.
Duke King: It’s about time this match got some real action.
Skye Sparks: Don’t say things that aren’t true, Duke.
{Millar grabs Reilley by the ankle, drawing her attention. Reilley and Millar start exchanging words. Smyth stands. The referee turns to see Reilley and Millar and quickly calls for Millar to exit.}
Troy Franklin: She’s not the only number contender out here…
Duke King: Where the hell did Mackenzie Roberts come from?
Troy Franklin: She must have taken a page from Smyth’s playbook and snuck up from the crowd.
Skye Sparks: Good on her.
Troy Franklin: Things are about to get really interesting out here.
{Mackenzie Roberts grabs the L.A.W. Title and the Marquee Title from the bell keeper’s table. She holds it up and starts screaming at Amy Jo Smyth. Smyth quickly turns around, sees this, and demands she put it down, give it up, let it go. Roberts continues to taunt Smyth with the L.A.W. Title. Millar shoots up behind Roberts and grabs the Marquee Title from Roberts. The two women on the outside of the ring start teasing and taunting the champions still inside the ring. They don’t start in the ring for very long, however. Amirai Reilley and Amy Jo Smyth exit the ring and go for the the two women in illegal possession of their titles.}
Troy Franklin: Here we go.
Skye Sparks: People shouldn’t take things that don’t belong to them.
{Reilley goes for Millar. Smyth goes for Roberts. Roberts charges at Smyth with the title up. Smyth ducks under it and when Roberts turns around, kicks her in the stomach. The title flies into the air and hits the ground. Smyth screams and the two competitors start exchanging punches.}
Duke King: I guess nobody cares about the count.
Troy Franklin: Or the outside interference.
{Millar backs away slowly, holding up the title, shaking it and putting it around her waist. Reilley warns her over and over but The Silver Screen Queen doesn’t listen. Reilley has had enough and grabs Millar by the hair, snatching her title along the way. Reilley throws Millar into the ring steps and slides her title into the ring for safekeeping. The Marquee Champion lifts Millar up and slams her head into the apron.}
Skye Sparks: And there it is.
{The referee calls for the bell.}
Beth Harris: This match has been declared a no contest due to double count out!
{The women don’t seem to care and continue fighting on the outside. Smyth looks to be in control but Roberts has other ideas. She whips Smyth into the barricade and then slams her head first into that same barricade. The L.A.W. Champion crumbles and Roberts hits Smyth in the face over and over with a driving knee.}
Duke King: The Champion is getting wrecked right now.
Troy Franklin: Which one?
{Crystal Millar is taking it to Amirai Reilley with right hands and then throws her into the ring post. As Reilley falls to the mat, Millar starts stomping and kicking the Marquee Champion. Having obviously watched the match, she makes a concerted effort to step on her fingers. Reilley rolls over, clutching her fingers, screaming out in pain. Millar grabs Reilley by the hair, lifts her to her feet, and places her hand onto the step. Millar charges and slams her foot into Reilley’s hand, crushing it against the metal.}
Skye Sparks She’s going to break Reilley’s hand!
Duke King: This is pure carnage and I love it.
Troy Franklin: Our Marquee Champ probably has a broken hand. Our L.A.W. Champion is broken open, bleeding from the head.
{Roberts lifts Smyth to her feet and props her up against the barricade. She lets Smyth’s right arm drop over the top. Roberts enters the crowd, takes a hold of Smyth’s arm and raises it up. She jumps in the air and slams Smyth’s arm over the top bar. Smyth hollers in pain and quickly clutches her arm.}
Troy Franklin: Oh, my, God. Oh, my, good God.
Duke King: That is - did she just?
Troy Franklin: Mackenzie Roberts just broken Amy Jo Smyth’s arm! Her arm has got to be broken. There’s no way it isn’t
Skye Sparks: This is out of control. Reilley has a broken hand. Smyth has a broken arm.
Troy Franklin: This is crazy. This is… Where is security?
Duke King: An eye for an eye. Smyth tried to break Roberts’ arm. Roberts breaks Smyth’s arm. They’r even.
Skye Sparks: And the whole world goes blind!
{Gina and the rest of the security staff appear. Roberts and Millar scatter. Smyth is left on the floor, bloodied, broken, and screaming, clutching her arm. Reilley is motionless, save for holding her hand and trying to breathe through the pain. EMTs make haste to ringside as the show fades.}
