We open this time with a bit of shaky cam footage. It seems to be the interior of a store. The camera spins around and we can see Milisandre Crowthorne, newest LAW star and member of the 'Cool Kids.' She is obviously fidgeting with the view screen, her eyes looks just off camera. She sighs in acceptance of the setting and her eyes dart to focus on the camera.
“So, like, Jackson said that it would probably be a good thing to, like, film some of the stuff I do during the day. Like, people would like to see kind of a day in the life of Milisandre. Dunno why really. I don't do much.”
“That's gonna change now!” The voice of Sarah Lacklan echoes from off screen and Milisandre rolls her eyes.
“What did I get myself into? So, I guess if you are watching this you follow me on Twitter, which I still don't get why people want to do that but, whatever. Anyways, you will know that I am spending the next, like, two and a half to like three weeks, being the third wheel to Sarah and Kenzi.”
“And apparently the room I'm staying at is, like, mine mine. So I decided I needed some decorations so Sarah, Kenzi, and I are out here getting me stuff for my room.” She turns the camera around again to show the pair walking ahead of her, looking at things here and there.
They are obviously in some sort of craft store like a Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Sarah makes a beeline straight towards the Halloween decorations. She turns and looks back towards Milisandre with an almost fanatical look in her eye. “Mil! This stuff is perfect!”
Kenzi turned and eyed up Milisandre standing standing back. “You know what...” Kenzi turns and starts walking towards Milisandre and the camera. “This is about you so you need to be in this. Gimme that.”
Kenzi reaches out for the camera. The scene rapidly changes to show the floor and the legs of Kenzi and Milisandre. They are obviously fighting over the camera. “No no no no no. Don't!” The camera is finally pulled to one side, away from the legs of Milisandre. The camera pans up those legs to show her glaring at the camera. “I hate you so much.”
“Haha! No you don't now get shopping.” A hand appears from behind the camera as Kenzi gives Milisandre a shove towards Sarah and the Halloween decorations. Mil stumbles a bit but is stopped from falling by Bruce, one of Sarah's bodyguards. She looks up at him, smiles and then looks at the floor, her hair falling and hiding her face.
“Thanks,” she mumbled and she hurried to catch up to Sarah. Kenzi just chuckled at Mil's awkwardness. Meanwhile Sarah has been throwing random things into the cart. Skull decorations, things with skulls on them, creepy looking crosses, the works.
“This stuff is ok, but I want to get some Styrofoam like, shapes. Maybe a Styrofoam head.”
“Why do you want that stuff for?” Sarah turned to her and raised a questioning eyebrow.
“causeiwanttomakeacthulubust.” Mil rushes her words together. Sarah had to lean in a bit and think about what was said. Mil's voice was just above a whisper and her hands shot up and covered her mouth. Her eyes darting quickly to Bruce and then back to the floor at her feet.
“Oh, yeah we can get that stuff. That'll look totes cool when you get it done. Can't wait to see it!”
“Yeah Mil, that will look awesome.” Kenzi's voice echoed from behind the camera. The group continued their shopping. Mil and Kenzi had to almost drag Sarah away from the Halloween decorations to get the last few things Mil needed. The camera was passed around between the three as they goofed off a bit as they looked around for anything that might catch their eye. The scene cuts with someone else filming and all three women laughing.

The scene comes back obviously sometime later. This time we are in an extremely nice room. The windows are covered with heavy curtains, blocking out all natural light. A few standing lamps feebly try to illuminate the space. The result is almost that of the interior of a cave. The decorations that the three #CoolKids were buying are placed all around the room. A weird Victorian era Mausoleum vibe filled the room.
In one corner is a desk covered with newspaper and three Styrofoam heads in different stages of modification. On the table, and against the wall, are a handful of different shades of green paints. The angle of the shot suggests that the camera person is sitting down. The scene pans to show the entire room. A large king sized bed dominates the wall opposite the camera. Standing between the end of the bed and the doorway is Bruce, Milisandre's new personal bodyguard, thanks to Sarah, and obvious crush. The camera lingers on him for a few moments before Mil's voice breaks the silence.
“So, you've like, grown up here right?”
Bruce glances at the camera. “Ayuh.” His thick New England accent made the affirmation hard to understand. The camera shook, Mil's obvious confusion evident.
“What?”
Bruce smiles and grins, “Yeah. I've been he-ah my whole life.” He scans the room again. Not that there would be a threat there, but out of habit. Mil is quiet for a moment. She stands to fidget with her laptop that is open on the coffee table in front of her.
“And, like, Sarah is really important around here right?”
“Yes. She is the reason we are all he-ah. Without her and her fahthah there would be no Lacklanland.”
“Yeah I guess you're right.” Again an almost awkward silence fills the space between Bruce and the camera. The subtle vertical movement of the scene and the slight exhalation of Mil indicates that she has taken a semi deep breath in preparation of something. She has made, what she believes, is a big choice. “Since, like, you are gonna be around all the time. Which I totally don't mind at all. Could you just like, sit and just, like, hang out with me?”
The scene, for lack of a better word, shuddered. Mil was obviously nervous. Bruce looked over at her and smiled. He moved over and sat down next to her on the couch. She then placed the camera on the table next to the laptop. She made sure it was pointed at them and they were both in the shot. She then starts to fiddle with the laptop. “So, like, what kind of stuff do you like to watch? Comedy, action, fantasy?” Mil looks over her shoulder at him, waiting for his answer.
“Whatever you want to watch is fine with me.” He smiles at her and she quickly whips her head around, her cheeks blossoming into a bright red.
“ohokay.” she mumbles as she types something on the keyboard. She clicks a few things with the mouse and the theme music for Firefly plays out of the speakers. Mil sits back and not so subtly moves closer towards Bruce. She eventually has wormed her arm around around his and is curled up against him, a smile on both their faces. They continue watching the show as the scene fades.
~~~
Now the scene is in a lavish hotel room. On the rooms only bed lay Milisandre and Bruce. She is curled up against his chest with his hand on her hip, while he is propped up by the pillows. The room is dark except for the glow from the TV. Mil is constantly sneaking glances up at Bruce. Every time she turns back to watch the TV she has a huge grin on her face. “So, like, you don't get into trouble when you stay in my room at night, do you?”
“No not at all.”
“Good. You need to be there as often as possible.”
“Don't worry, I will.”
The grin that his response brought to Mil's face was enormous. She snuggled into him even more. He brought his free hand to her chin and gently turned her face towards hers. Mil bit her lip subconsciously as their eyes locked. “I'm really glad you and Her Highness became friends.”
“So am I,” Mil said airily. She couldn't take her eyes off of his. After she answered she bit her lip once again. She was infatuated with him. The only thing running through her mind was 'kiss me.' It was a mantra in her mind, repeating in hopes of becoming a reality.
“I'm happy because it let me meet you.” He gently pinched her chin in his fingers and leaned down to kiss her. Mil's eyes fluttered closed as he drew closer. She took a shuddering breath just before he actually kissed her. Her body went partially limp as they kissed. Her hand crept up his his chest and found his cheek. She then gently leaned into the kiss, not wanting it to end. Eventually they separated and Mil licked her lips before opening her eyes. His face was still close to hers and her eyes locked onto his,
“I... I'm happy about... Oh screw it.” She pulled his face back towards her and kissed him again, and again, and again. She couldn't help herself. From the first time she laid eyes on him this is what she had wanted. She eventually got herself under control and took a deep breath, her forehead pressed against his. She slowly exhaled and opened her eyes. “I'm never letting you go. Ever. You are stuck with my clumsy ass.”
“Good.” The both smiled and kissed again. Bruce sat back and Mil once again curled up against his chest. She traced lines across his chest, the TV completely forgotten, a smile on her face. The scene fades as Mil closes her eyes.
~~~
Once again we are in Mil's room. This time she is sitting on the couch alone. The scene moves as the camera is being adjusted. Bruce's voice comes from off screen. “That should be good. You sure you don't want me here?”
“For now yeah. Still not sure about talking into a camera like I'm talking to people. Plus with you here I would be a little distracted.” Another one of her shy smiles sneaks out and she looks down at her hands for a moment. She slowly looks up just over the camera.
“Alright, I have some things I need to do. I'll be back in a bit.”
“You better be.” They both chuckle and Bruce leans into the frame and gives Mil and quick kiss. She licks her lips again and almost gets up to pull him back to the couch with her. The sound of the door closing echoes slightly in the room. Mil looks back down at her hands as she picks at the sleeves of her flannel shirt.
“So, I actually won my first match. To be honest, it went a lot better than I had hoped it was. I was, like, really expecting to get humiliated out there. Proven the point that this was just some kind of fantasy or pipe dream. I liked to fight, but I didn't really stand a chance against someone more experienced.”
She glances up at the camera, a devilish grin on her face. “Guess I was wrong.” She chuckles and then looks back down. She slowly raises her head and her eyes trace a patch around her room. “Being here in Lacklanland is like being in that ring. It's new and different. Yet somehow it feels right. It feels like home. I belong here just as much as I belong in the ring. My journey has started and it is only going to go up from here.”
“Second match I have is at a major event. A Pay Per View as they like to call them.” Mil takes a breath to sort of steady herself. Her eyes glancing into the camera every now and then. “I go from first match at a random show, to a four way match at Queen of the Ring. A match that, unfortunately features one of the other Cool Kids. That is something I hoped wouldn't have to happen. But, I guess, like, it was bound to happen, right? All six of us have gotten close. But what good is a friend if you can't have a friendly little fight every now and then? I've gotten plenty of bruises and black eyes from friends before. We either had an issue to handle, or we just wanted to scrap a bit. I do like fighting remember.”
“There are like, rumors and, stuff, going around about this match. That whoever wins might get some sort of special bonus. I would totally, love that bonus. Don't get me wrong. Like, second match like ever, and I am getting something extra for winning. And not only winning but beating three other people. Three. Like, I am super nervous about this match.” She runs a hand through her hair and looks directly into the camera. That serious demeanor slowly creeping back into her posture and attitude.
“Like, I'm not really worried about Maria. I'm pretty sure I got her number every day of the week. Plus I'm, like, totally under her skin. If I were her I would be totally pissed about losing. Especially to a rookie fresh out of the gate. I mean, I'm totally gonna punk her out when we get back into the ring together. She is my bitch from here on out. But, she is slightly better than the other non Cool Kid that is in this match. I mean, like, at least Maria put up a fight against me.” Mil shakes her head in disgust.
“Angie just mopped the floor with Laura. The bitch didn't even put up a fight. Angie made an example out of her, that is for sure. So, I honestly don't feel like I would have trouble with her either. That's, like, not being cocky, just honest. With the way she was against Angie I highly doubt she would show up. I mean, if I was in her shoes I know I wouldn't. I would have died of embarrassment right after the match. I would be at home eating my way through my fourth gallon of ice cream, fifth season of Friends, and second crying towel.”
“But she doesn't seem bright enough to do that. I don't think she has the mental capacity for humiliation. Which is, like, a good thing. Since I will make sure to embarrass her a second time in as many LAW events. Again, not ego, just facts. I will totally break that bitch if I have to. And I will do it with a smile on my face.” She smirks and winks into the camera.
“I guess, that really only leaves Ash as my only real challenge. She is gonna be a threat. She has trained Angie and Angie is no joke. I will have to be careful with her. She could take this match away from me. Sure, we are friends and both Cool Kids. But that isn't a think inside the ring. Once we step through those ropes we are opponents. We will probably be laughing and joking in the back with each other before the match. I know for a fact that we will be chill after the match and probably go out for a few drinks after. But during the match, like, we are totally enemies. I just want you to know, that it isn't personal.”
Mil takes a breath and runs her hand through her hair once again. “But, if the things we banter with on Twitter are any indication, all I have to do is just get angry and that should make winning a little easier. Cause, according to your own words, how hard is gonna be to fight someone who can make you question your sexuality? Seriously, I would love to know.”
She pauses and tilts her head to the side. That devilish, wicked grin slowly creeps onto her face again. “You see, the way I have grown up, when push comes to shove, the only one you have to rely on is yourself. Sure, the Cool Kids are slowly changing my mind about that. But this situation just drills that point home. In a fight, a free for all, there are no friends. It's everyone woman for herself.”
“I know Sarah is the Red Queen, and Kenzi is the Duchess of Lacklanland. But I am still the Antediluvian Queen. They say that all is fair in love and war. Well, this is war, and when a Queen comes to the battlefield she does so to win. And that is precisely what I plan to do. I am the Great Dreamer, the Antediluvian Queen. And you three shall all...” She pauses for dramatic effect.
“Bow Down.” She then chuckles once again and gives the camera a little wave before the scene fades out.
