Kyoto Japan,
She hurried the bags out of the cab putting them on the sideway carefully. Her long blond hair tied up and back in a bun as she fumbled in her purse for money, The driver didn’t know english and instead mumbled a few words of Japanese. Alicia shook her head not understanding, he quickly grabbed a few notes out and handed them over, A few men standing out front of the building stared and laughed.
The men were mostly Japanese except one goofy looking foreigner. His hair was long and cut to shoulder length. He kind of looked like future Trunks when he had long hair in dragon ball z. Alicia smiled and looked back at the driver handing over a few notes, the driver looked down and smiled. As he was about to close the door the foreigner walked over shaking his head speaking japanese. After what seemed like a heated exchange the driver handed him a few notes and drove off angrily
He said something in japanese that sounded rude before looking down at Alicia with a goofy smile. “He was trying to rip you off” The japanese was replaced by an american accent. He handed her the money and Alicia smiled with a small nod. “I’m Sean...Sean Demont…” He held out his hand, she looked down at it for a moment before shaking it with another smile mustering up a small voice inside. “I’m Vi-Alicia...Alicia Lukas.”
Sean have her another smile, his face covered in a thinly trimmed beard. He stood in a pair of training shorts, and slip on shoes with a t-shirt that read “Kyoto-sun training academy” Alicia’s eyes widened as she read it. “You train there?..you’re one of the students?” Sean looked down at his shirt as he finger poked him in the chest and he laughed. “Yeah been here for two years now. Finally got off toilet duty….why?”
Alicia looked past him at the gathering of men outside, not one woman and Sean seemed to be the only foreigner. Her heart sank as she sighed deeply and leaned in. “I’m here to train…”
Sean held in a laugh and looked her up and down. She was about 5’7 and was tiny and thin. Maybe 115 pounds. Her long hair was tied back, blonde with a few silver streaks. Her lips covered in a frosted pink lip gloss and her face caked with makeup, she wore torn denim shorts and a white singlet top. Sean just stared and shook his head before chuckling as he talked.
“Yo-you’re here to train?.” He turned and pointed to the men at the door. “With them?” She gave him a small nod and Sean cleared his throat running a hand through his hair. “Look Alicia, they don’t like foreigners, much less women.” He sighed and shook his head as he heard the guys behind him talking in Japanese very loudly. Sean seemed to growl becoming agitated before spinning around yelling something at them.
They seemed to listen and laughed amongst themselves before Sean turned back. “It took me three weeks of coming in every day asking to train, offering all I could. Money, work..whatever...then two weeks of getting beaten up.” He sighed again and put his hand on her shoulder. “Two years I’ve eaten shit and only just now got some respect. I’m a Wakai otokonoko…”
Alicia looked confused as Sean sighed and rolled his eyes “A young boy….I’ve only had a few matches and in the gym I was still getting my ass kicked...you won’t find what you’re looking for here Lic...go home…”
Sean turned as the other men went inside, he followed and she stood alone outside the dojo, she looked down at her hands, her fingers, they trailed up to a small silver locked that dangled around her neck, she clutched it in her hands and her teeth seemed to grind together. She took a deep breathe, her eyes trailing back up from the ground directly in front of her to the old style heavy wooden door, she growled grabbing her bag making her way inside.

Washington D.C
Present Day.
“Are you kidding me?”
Alicia paces back and forth, her long blond hair bobbing up and down as she moved. The sun was out but it was still bitterly cold winter weather. Alicia had on a brand new pink and black “LAW” hoodie and black workout pants, she tilted her head with a deep sigh and continued, the southern drawl in her voice still there but not as strong as it was in her youth.
“You know, when I cut the first promo to really push my LAW debut I was unaware of the person I’d be facing. See I get that you’re a strange bird frenchie..and I’m calling you frenchie because I don’t know what to call you since you’re so
“mysterious”. But strange in most ways and what you are is a little...out there. I mean Roxy Cotton is weird, Maki is weird, hell I’m known to get a little weird after a few Vodkas.”
“But you?”
“You’re a special kind of out there. I mean first off you speak mostly french but you flip flop back and forth between french and english yet even if we did get subtitles for you I expect we may not know what you mean in your native tongue either.”
“I wish I could understand you.”
“I wish I could get inside that head and see what makes you tick to get a better understanding of what I’m up against but unfortunately I only speak English, bad english, Japanese and a little bit of pig latin.”
“None of which help me in this situation..”
Alicia flashes a toothy grin, her bright white teeth showing off with her bright blue eyes and some would say “adorable” nature.
“But what I could gather from your incessant ramblings about me is that you’re fixated on my career outside of this company and my romantic life. You’re fixated on all the wrong things frenchie. See first and foremost to you and everyone else in LAW I am a fucking professional wrestler. I’m not like Kenzi who likes to act and be a goddamn wrestler one the side when it suits her, I’m not Crystal Hilton or Kate Steele who like to pretend they can sing and then ]pretend they can wrestle. I am a pro wrestler. I was when I stepped foot in a gym seven years ago and I was when I stepped back on US soil 2 years ago…”
“And in that year and a half people like you have done nothing but look at my personal life. My relationships, my failed ones of which there are many. But here’s a statistic for you. Since I came back to the US there has been two months...TWO MONTHS where I was not a champion when I was an active competitor. I had 3 months sitting at home with a broken arm to heal and after that I became a champion, I walked into my old company and reclaimed a championship I never lost. I have been called out by ex’s and I have beaten them down in the ring, on twitter and all over the damn tabloids, the truth is none of them could touch me…”
“I am one of the best in ring performers of our generation yet here you are falling into the old trap of caring more about what man I was with than what I can do out there where it matters…”
“Yes I was with Travis Blake, yes I was with Chris Cane, yes I have made mistakes but I am now in a stable loving relationship with a man who is rarely in the spotlight. I have my private life and my in ring life and you, you stupid bitch are part of that in ring life.”
Alicia growls and folds her arms over her chest with a scoff under her breath.
“Thing is I tried to be nice, I tried to show you some form of respect despite your clear insanity. But one thing you have to realise is I’m not here to make friends. I like Kanzi Grey, she is my friend. But If I got put in the ring with her I would do everything possible to kick her head into the third row and walk out with the championship she has around her damn waist. I would do the same to Sam Tolson or Maki in a damn heartbeat. I don’t care about friendships when it comes to my career progression and that is the difference between us. I do this for my own glory my own legacy, you do what you do because of your love for “god”...”
“I’d hate to tell you this bus I think you’ll find the passion a little one sided…”
“But if there is one thing I have learned in this business is to never turn your back on religious zealots or insane people. And you’ve be surprised how often they exhibit the same personality traits. But again frenchie, I’m not in this to care about your motives or what you do. I am a dangerous woman capable of some very painful things. I don’t go out there to prance around and further my “outside wrestling” career. I don’t go out there to pad people’s egos and make them feel good.”
“I go out there to destroy my competition, to win matches and to prove I’m the best. I go out there to win championships to prove what I say isn’t just bragging. There’s so much bragging and shittalk these days from people who don’t live up to it. Who don’t have anything to show for it.”
“But then...there’s me…”
“I walk into companies and I dominate. I signed on the dotted line and people took notice. Sure you were mentioned to but the truth was there for all to see. Alicia Lukas has arrived in LAW. Alicia Lukas signed on the dotted line to step in an LAW ring and start climbing the ladder. And straight away little nerds sitting at home behind their computer screens started talking “Dream Matches”.
“Me vs Kate again, Me vs Sam Tolson part 2, Me vs Roxy, Lenxi and any other Cool kid around. Shit me vs Gabby Camacho or Crystal Hilton. People care about me. People want to see me do what I do best and destroy all those infront of me and at LAW 75 I’m going to take your insanity, I’m going to take all your stupid little comments, I’m going to roll it into a ball, keep it in my fist and slam it right in your stupid face.”
“Home town crowd, LAW debut, an entire lockeroom watching out match in awe waiting to see if the rumours about me are true or not. See that’s the thing frenchie, with me there is expectation, there is wonder, there is box office appeal and there is one big question….”
She smiles and looks down before her bright blue eyes look sideways.
“Is Alicia Lukas really that damn good?....”
“That one question that the fans and lockeroom of LAW want to know. That one big question that I’m sure is swimming around your head right now.”
“Alicia Lukas est-elle vraiment aussi bonne?”
“I’m sure you’ll find out just when everyone else does. You’ll find out in every suplex, punch, kick, forearm, submission. You’ll find out when I go to rip your damn leg off or crush your face with my knee. At LAW 75 live from Washington DC frenchie you will wave that white flag and you will surrender….”
“To the strong style southern belle….you will be the answer one day to a question on some wrestling trivia website. Who did Alicia Lukas defeat in her debut for LAW?....and honestly...you should thank me...cause in the end...I just made you famous….”
