{A blank screen, until the LAW logo flashes on the screen. "Not Gonna Break Me" by Jamie N Commons begins as the opening video for LAW begins to play showing all the incredible action and highlights of LAW’s existence. When the video finishes an explosions erupts and sends the LAW fans into a frenzy as the camera switches to the wide view of the arena and begins to pan this excited trio.}
Troy Franklin: Hello everyone and welcome to Rising Stars 2018! I'm Troy Franklin alongside my broadcast partners Duke King, and the lovely Skye Sparks, and we are live in Nashville tonight for 8 huge matches.
Duke King: Troy, this is the new year, 2018, It's the time for people to step into the spotlight. You start the year off right in LAW, and big things happen. We saw Amy Jo Smyth last year, win the LAW championship, and she's the longest reigning LAW champion ever now! That's just one example of how you can start off a year and make it count.
Skye Sparks: What about the Boardwalk Angels?! They've been tag team champions for a year now, and it started at this very event. But of course tonight, they're facing each other!
Troy Franklin: They are, that's one of the big matches here tonight.
Duke King: Oh we've got title matches, we've got grudge matches, The Chaos title match where anything can happen, and oh yeah, 2 out of 3 falls between LAW champion Gabby Camacho, and the woman who presents probably the toughest competition to anyone in LAW, Sam Tolson!
Skye Sparks: I'm more looking forward to seeing if Crystal Hilton can finally shirk the stigma of being someone who can't get it done, becuase if that holds true, Alicia Lukas is walking out of here with the LAW Marquee championship.
Duke King: And my girl, the best ever, Kenzi Grey is about to leave LAW on a high note, walking away an undefeated Breakout champion!
Troy Franklin: All that, and so much more, let's kick the night off, with fatal fourway action!
{‘Hit Me Like a Man’ blasts over the speakers as the crowd rise to their feet to vent their fury. Effie Rogers, stoic faced steps out from the back, barely acknowledging the fans ire. She heads straight to the ring, slightly smirking, before stepping through the ropes and leaning against the turnbuckle.}
Troy Franklin: Well, Effie Rodgers is making her debut right here, so this is big for her.
Duke King: One of three people making their debut, and obviously, they all want to leave an impression.
Skye Sparks: But only one can win.
{The Lights throughout the entire Ladies All-Star Wrestling auditorium dim simultaneously on out throughout the entire theatre as it plunges into darkness as "Memoro de la Stono" - by Nobuo Uematsu is heard throughout the theatre auditorium as it can be heard blaring on out of the PA system, various screens screens throughout the theatre come to life showing that of the start screen of a video game. As the screens show that of the video game start screen, it then continues to the began game, where it shows the character, that character being none other then "The Final Fantasy" Sylvanas Valentine.
As Valentine is highlighted, she appears out in front of the black curtains as a white spotlight shines down on her, she can be seen wearing a qipao, a Chinese dress imported over from Manchuria that became popular among girls during the early 20th century. Her outfit can be seen being modified to allow a far wider range of movement than a normal qipao. On her forearms, Valentine can be seen wearing armbands that are of black leather as well, some of which form X's over her biceps and triceps which follow the same color scheme of the rest of her ring attire.
Valentine doesn't sport elbow pads of any kind, Valentine also wears white combat boots which read [“VALENTINE”] in blue old English lettering and a blue leotard with dark brown sheer pantyhose and a blue thong underneath with her qipao. Her qipao is blue with golden accents resembling that of one of the Street Fighter video game character Chun Li which can be seen as the white spotlight continues to shine down on the entrance aisle illuminating Sylvanas’ impressive physique ten-fold and porcelain pale white skin, as she swings around to face the fans her arms outstretched like that of an inverted cross.
Valentine’s hands can be seen as they are she can be seen sporting white medical tape over her right hand and wrist (Please Note:- Not her fingers, think Triple H style hand wraps) that usually can be found sweat stained and bloodied, across the knuckle portion of her hand wrap the word “Fantasy” can be read in light Blue colored marker, on her left arm however she can be found wearing a golden gauntlet like that of the Final Fantasy 7 video game character Vincent Valentine, a devilish Cheshire cat like grin can be seen on her face serving as the perfect statement as she comes full circle in facing the fans, clenching her fist as she pretends to change out her outstretched left arm that can be seen having the golden gauntlet attached to it that she can be seen wearing into that of Megaman’s Mega Buster, as she does she then acts as if she's pumping up her her arm (viva Roman Reigns) like that of a sawed off shotgun before smashing her fist into the ground below her}
Beth Harris: "Coming from San Diego, California… she weighs in tonight at 120 pounds, she stands approximately 5’5” inches in height... she is… “THE FINAL FANTASY” she is... SYYYYLVANAS VAAAALENTINE!!!"
{As Valentine's name is heard she slowly begins rise on back up to her feet as she slowly begins to making her way on down the entrance aisle, slowly she can be seen getting closer to the ring as she’s swarmed with various cheers and chants of approval which can be heard from those nearby at ringside, slowly she walks around to the black steel steps, methodically, Sylvanas walks on up them as the cheers and chants of approval continue to be heard, as she slowly slithers on up the side of the nearest ring post like that of a deadly venomous snake ready to strike at any given moment, as she does she throws out her arms (viva Randy Orton) as she continues to soak in the Cheers and chants of those in support of her that she's receiving from those nearby and those around the arena showing their love and approval for her as she awaits for her opponents arrival.}
Troy Franklin: Ms. Valentine certainly has a flare for the dramatic.
Duke King: But is it all hype?
Skye Sparks: It better not be. An entrance doesn't make you great.
{The trumpets of Demi Lovato’s “Confident” blare over this particular arena's loudspeakers announcing the arrival of "The Southern Phloriphornia Milkmaiden” Bonnie Daphna McBody as she walks out from behind the curtain. Decked out in an orange softball letterman's jacket, a deep green tennis skort, and pink Bloch Boost Dance Sneakers. She appears to be holding a pink blinged-out pledge paddle like a croquet mallet behind her back as she walks down to ringside. She recently completed her "Bachelorette's" Degree from Southern Phloriphornia University majoring in Communications & Social Media. Her kinesiology suggests a hidden exhibitionist wanting to burst out. However, wanting to become an honest woman as well as being equally yoked she methodically marches down to the announce table. She hands the pledge paddle to Skye Sparks for safe keeping while telling Troy Franklin and Duke King to keep their hands above the table during her scheduled match. Ms. McBody enters into the ring via the western-facing ring apron awaiting the arrival of her opponent.}
Beth Harris: Hailing from the small island village of Groves Valley, Phloriphornia...weighing 154 lbs. ... "The Southern Phloriphornia Milkmaiden" BONNIE DAPHNA McBODY!
Troy Franklin: What did she give you?
Skye Sparks: Her paddle... duh!
Duke King: Wonder what she uses that for...
Skye Sparks: You're a pervert.
{The lights go out, a loud sound like a giant heartbeat sounds every second, the lights flash around the arena, then a red spotlight hits the entrance way as Halestorms's Sick I individual hits. The light hits Maki with her back to the audience she is on her hands and knees, she slowly crawls her way the ring.
Well you think that you know what I am but you don't.
'Cause I say what you can't and I do what you won't.
I like it loud, wear it proud, like a crown upon my head
I'll always be this way 'till the day that I'm dead
'Cause I'm a sick individual
And I'm doing this thing called whatever the fuck I want, want, want
I'm unusual
Ain't taking no shit, gonna drink this sip 'till I'm gone, gone, gone

{She slowly crawls to the ring, with her hair down to her shoulders, her white face paint, with scribbles on her body of "Help"}
Would you like to know what I do if I got you alone
Would I sigh would I beg would I feed would I moan
I don't talk the talk cause I walk the walk and I'll shake it for you just like this

So come a little bit closer, baby

Gonna have my way with you!
'Cause I'm a sick individual

Her tongue is sticking out as she whispers Korean to herself}
Troy Franklin: Maki looks... different tonight.
Duke King: Well, this is her last match.
Skye Sparks: She always looks like a bloody lunatic though.
{The bell sounds as Rodgers and Valentine lock up and Maki just looks at Mcbody and shrugs. As if she’s going through the motions, she locks up with Mcbody and half-heartedly applies an arm wringer an armbar. McBody winces but is more confused than anything. Meanwhile, Valentine and Rodgers and fighting with Rodgers tossing Valentine into the corner and hitting some hard forearms. Meanwhile, Mcbody has reversed Maki and has a hammerlock on the mat applied. Maki is able to escape and reverse, but doesn’t seem to have her heart in the match at all.}
Troy Franklin: And... Maki doesn't not seem interested at all.
Duke King: Well, we'll see if the other 3 capitalize.
{Rodgers attempts an Irish whip on Valentine, who reverses. Rodgers hits the corner, and Valentine charges, but Rodgers moves. Valentine counters by hopping on the 2nd rope and attempting to cross body Rodgers, but she dodges out of the way and Valentine splats on the canvas. Rodgers quickly dives into the cover. 1……2…. Mcbody breaks it up, and uses a jackknife pin on Rodgers! 1…….2…. Maki breaks it up and covers McBody ! 1…. Mcbody kicks out.}
Troy Franklin: And this is the issue with four-ways! So much action going on at once!
Duke King: Oh, I know all about four ways.
Skye Sparks: .... Shut up. Just shut up.
{Valentine is right back to attacking Rodgers with hard forearms, but Rodgers stops her with a knee to the mid-section. This drops Valentine to a knee, but she fights from her knee sending some hard elbows into the mid-section of Rodgers. Valentine pops up and hits the ropes, but runs into a powerslam from Rodgers. Valentine rolls from the ring as Rodgers looks at McBody and Maki, and Maki just shrugs. Rodgers seems interested in forming an alliance with McBody, who shrugs and they both turn, and Maki clotheslines them both! They pop up and Maki continues to fight them off until Rodgers nails Maki from behind and holds her for McBody, who takes a couple of free shots. They back Maki into the corner, but Valentine interrupts everything with a springboard clothesline on Rodgers! In the meantime, Maki grabs McBody’s arm and slams it against the top turnbuckle, then delivers a single arm DDT, and then grabs McBody’s arm and applies a sitting reverse armbar. McBody looks like she’s about to submit, but Valentine breaks it up.}
Troy Franklin: And Maki almost pulled it off!
Duke King: Even without trying!
{Valentine then hits a running low dropkick that takes Mcbody out of the ring and Maki has a half-hearted headlock on Rodgers. Valentine comes over, and wraps up the legs of Rodgers in a Boston crab at the same time. Maki looks confused for a second about what’s happening, and then let’s go of the headlock, and then hits a stiff kick to the back of Valentine, now a little annoyed that Valentine tried to steal a submission.}
Troy Franklin: And now... maybe Maki wants to win?
Duke King: Who knows. She's unpredictable.
Skye Sparks: The other 3 need to get their acts together.
{Maki doesn’t have time to do much as McBody slides back into the ring and attacks her from behind. McBody then hits a vertical suplex on Maki and floats into the cover. 1….. Rodgers is back up and breaks up the pinfall. Rodgers then pulls McBody up and tries for a DDT but McBody counters and shoves Rodgers back into the corner. McBody hits a few chops on Rodgers, then backs up and charges, but Rodgers counters with a boot. Rodgers charges but McBody ducks, but when they both turn, that are nailed by a double missile dropkick from Valentine out of nowhere!}
Troy Franklin: And Valentine has been super impressive! She's practically everywhere in this match!
Skye Sparks: But she still has to pin someone.
{Valentine then climbs back to the top rope waiting for Rodgers or McBody to get back up, but Maki is quickly over behind her, and crotches her on the top rope! Rodgers is able to get up and she walks over and grabs the stunned Valentine and turns it into a powerbomb! Rodgers is very pleased with herself as she turns right into the Pledge Paddle [Chick Kick] from McBody! McBody pulls Rodgers away from the ropes, but Maki quickly bum rushes her and knocks McBody through the ropes to the floor. Maki makes the cover on the fallen Rodgers. 1……2…….3!}
Troy Franklin: And Maki wins!
Duke King: Who would've believed it.
Skye Sparks: Obviously not Maki...
{Maki gets up with a shrug and gets her hand raised. She takes a bow and exits the ring, even slapping a fan five as she heads up the ramp as McBody screams in frustration on the floor below.}
{As the show gets further underway here in Nashville, Tennessee, the camera cuts to backstage where we find Carmen Diaz standing with a smile on her face. She looks into the camera and just as she raises her microphone to speak to those in attendance, she suddenly looks to her right and the camera pans out further. A unknown dark haired young woman stands before her with almost an arrogant smile on her face.}
Carmen Diaz:I’m sorry...can I hel--
{Before Carmen can even finish her sentence, the young woman yanks her microphone out of her hand and all but shoves her out of view of the camera.}
Woman: I will take that, thank you very much. Run along, honey, and let me handle things.
{The young woman then stands in front of the camera, running her hand through her hair, making herself more presentable. Once she is comfortable with her appearance, she smiles into the camera and raises the microphone.}
Woman: Good evening ladies and gentleman. You’re welcome for ridding the camera of the lesser interview and gracing you all with a truly educated and talented individual such as myself. My name is Willow and I am about to present to you all someone who is about to turn the very roots of LAW around and make these shows better than they ever have been.
{The fans in attendance can be heard off camera chattering curiously amongst themselves. The woman, now identified simply as Willow, nods, but keeps the smile on her face.}
Willow: The woman that is now joining me is the very definition of a Rising Star, so this very show simply...belongs to her. This woman is the very FUTURE of LAW so I suggest you all pay close attention to what she is about to say. Without further adieu, ladies and gentleman, I give to you, making her official return to LAW. You’re 2017 Future Champion award winner and the real Breakout Star of LAW...Nova Sinclair!
{The camera barely has to pan out as Nova Sinclair steps up to Willow, greeting her with a smile. It’s been a few months since Nova has been seen in LAW, and while her overall appearance has not changed, the way she carries herself has. She has more of a confident look as she only acknowledges Willow, and doesn’t look into the camera.}
Nova Sinclair: Oh Willow. Sweetie, we’ll have to work on that introduction a bit. Decent job, but we both know you can do better, right?
{Willow’s smile fades momentarily as she nods.}
Willow: Of course, Miss Sinclair. I’m so sorry. It won’t happen again.
Nova Sinclair: Good girl. You may continue.
{Willow quickly straightens her posture, once again smiling as she addresses Nova.}
Willow: Now, Miss Sinclair, it has been several months since anyone has seen you here in LAW. You sort of quietly disappeared following the Battle Royal at LAW 73 in Philadelphia. You were well on your way to winning that Battle Royal and going on to face Crystal Hilton for the Marquee Championship when tragedy struck. Why don’t you tell us in your words, what exactly happened at that moment and then after.
{Nova closes her eyes and looks as though she is fighting back tears as she remembers the Battle Royal and the days, weeks and months following. She takes in a deep breath and when she opens her eyes again, her mood is anything but sad or disappointed.}
Nova Sinclair: Absolutely, Willow. I will tell you exactly what happened. You see, as I’m sure everyone will remember quite clearly, or rather they SHOULD remember quite clearly, I was just about to finish off the joke that is Sam Tolson and toss her ass over the top rope when Stacy Jones made a huge mistake. She had to get herself involved in a situation that I had handled, and because of her, Sam eliminated me. Sam Tolson...eliminated ME!
Willow: Simply awful. But I’m sure it makes you feel better than Sam didn’t move forward to win the match, right?
Nova Sinclair: Are you kidding me? Of course it didn’t! I mean, we all know she didn’t stand a chance anyway, but that’s not even the point. I should have won that match, Willow. I should have went on to face Crystal Hilton instead of Stacy Jones. And at the time, I would have gotten over it and continued doing what I was doing, but you see...when I was eliminated that night, there was something that was never addressed. Never pointed out.
{Willow takes in a deep breath, and looks at Nova very seriously.}
Willow: Tell us, Miss Sinclair.
Nova Sinclair: I hurt my ankle that night, Willow. Now, it wasn’t serious enough to really require me taking any time off, but it was an injury nonetheless. It was my first real wrestling injury, so it was my choice to step away for a while to reassess some things. And do you know what happened, Willow?
{Willow closes her eyes and nods sadly, and she reopens her eyes a few moments later.}
Willow: I do, Miss Sinclair. But tell everyone else. Tell them what they did.
Nova Sinclair: Nothing, Willow! They did absolutely NOTHING! Never once was it questioned where I was or what, if anything, was wrong. Never once was I acknowledged. Even after I was voted the Future Champion, do you think that mattered to anyone?
{Willow again shakes her head.}
Nova Sinclair: No! It didn’t. Business just went on as usual, but guess what, Willow?
{Willow suddenly perks up, an excited smile growing on her face.}
Willow: I know, Miss Sinclair! I know! But go on and tell them! This is the best part.
{Nova grins and briefly looks into the camera before turning her attention back to Willow.}
Nova Sinclair: I’m back! And I’m here to take what is rightfully mine. What has always BEEN mine.
Willow: The Breakout Championship!
{Willow quickly bites her lip, and apologizes to Nova only with her eyes.}
Nova Sinclair: Yes, Willow. The Breakout Championship. Now, I had hoped to face Kenzi Grey for the championship, because there’s nothing I wanted more than a huge dose of payback for how she stole that championship...MY championship...from me. But it seems that won’t happen, will it? I saw Kenzi’s little announcement on Twitter earlier and how convenient that just as I’m about to return, she’s on her way out the door!
Willow: Miss Sinclair, forgive me in advance and don’t take this the wrong way, but...why the Breakout Championship? You could have any title you want! Even the LAW Championship! Why the Breakout Championship?
{Nova grins and brings her hand to Willow’s cheek.}
Nova Sinclair: Dear Willow, you’re so sweet. I know that I can have any title that I want, because I’m simply better than anyone on this roster right now. And make no mistake about it, I WILL win every single title- minus the tag team titles of course- eventually. But I will tell you why the Breakout Championship, Willow. Because I AM the ONLY Breakout Star this roster has! Kenzi shouldn’t even have that title because she’d been here HOW LONG when she stole it from me? Etsuko certainly doesn’t deserve, given how underwhelming and unmemorable her last run was. And everyone else? Well...they’re simply beneath me to even mention by name, so I won’t waste my breath. That Breakout Championship will be mine, Willow. It always has been regardless of who has been carrying it around parading themselves as champion the past few months. Plain and simple.
Willow: Brilliant, Miss Sinclair! Absolutely brilliant!
{Nova runs her hand through her hair and has a smug look on her face.}
Nova Sinclair: Of course it is, Willow. Now come along. I need to get to the airport.
{Willow lowers the microphone disappointedly.}
Willow: The...airport? But...we just got here!
Nova Sinclair: And I’ve already said and done what I needed to do here. I have somewhere more important I have to be right now. Some place better and more worth my time than Nashville. Now let’s go.
{Willow doesn’t put up any further argument as Nova turns and walks away, with Willow following close behind.}
{As their music plays Kayla and Christy appear on the stage riding custom choppers, they fist pump then ride to the ring with Christy taking the lead, they park at the bottom of the ramp and enter the ring they climb the opposite corners, and cross their arms, they steps down and high five then go to their corner.}
Troy Franklin: The Dynasty have always proven to be dangerous, if they choose to, they can put anyone on the shelf.
Duke King: These two have put beatdowns on the Naughty Girls, the Boardwalk Angels, anyone who has come down the pike, knows facing these two is going to be long day.
{“Monster by Paramore” begins to blast all over the speakers. As it does so we are able to see Kate Steele-Warren emerge on the entrance ramp. She has a guitar in her hand but she doesn’t even bother to strum at it. She shows absolutely no emotion before she decides to hand her guitar to her husband Todd Warren who escorts her. She walks down to the ring locked in a trance as fans eagerly stretch out their arms to get the redhead to slap their hands. However what they get in return is nothing. No screaming, no reaction, just Kate simply walking to the ring. Todd smiles as he takes her place and tries to slap their hands but the fans pull back as they give him dirty looks.
She finally makes her way to the ring and once she get’s there she quickly slides into the ring. The fans roar with Steele chants but she just bounces around for a bit not acknowledging them as her mind is focus on the match itself.}
Skye Sparks: It bugs me.
Troy Franklin: What?
Skye Sparks: Kate Steele.
Troy Franklin: Isn't she your friend?
Skye Sparks: Yes, that doesn't make her any less annoying. She's just in this to try and win a tag team title. She doesn't care who her partner is.
Troy Franklin: Is that bad?
Skye Sparks: If I was Smyth, I'd watch my back.
Duke King: You know... Skye has a point.
{The lights lower and the remaining lights turn to a golden color. “Shoot to Thrill” by Halestorm hits. The crowd explodes into cheers. Amy Jo Smyth steps out onto the stage, her back turned to the crowd, head covered by the hood of her jacket. The golden lights change and simulate a cascade of glitter over her. Smyth spins around on her toes and faces the crowd as a single spotlight falls on her.}
I got my gun at the ready gonna fire at will
‘Cause I shoot to thrill and I’m ready to kill
I can’t get enough and I can’t get my fill
Shoot to thrill play to kill
Pull the trigger, pull it
Pull it, pull it
Pull the trigger
‘Cause I shoot to thrill and I’m ready to kill
I can’t get enough and I can’t get my fill
Shoot to thrill play to kill
Pull the trigger, pull it
Pull it, pull it
Pull the trigger
{She then throws her head back, the hood falling off her head, and arms upward and outward, letting the remaining glittering light wash over her. She slowly makes her way down the ramp, looking over the crowd, giving the occasional high five to a fan with a perfectly placed hand. She reaches the end of the ramp and throws a fist up in the air. The crowd pops.}
Beth Harris: ……Hailing from the great state of New Jersey… She has her Ph.D. in submissions… “The Good Doctor” Amy Jo Smyth!
{After a quick moment of listening to the crowd, she rushes forward, slides into the ring, and stands. Smyth unzips her hoodie and spins on her toes with her arms raised. She throws both arms down triggering an explosion of glittering light over the ring.
She quickly strips of her hoodie and passes it off to the nearest person on the outside. The lights come back up but remain golden.}
Troy Franklin: This is Smyth's first match since she lost the LAW championship back in November, Maybe some ring rust could be evident.
Duke King: I doubt it. Smyth is always keeping herself ready and fighting many places.
Skye Sparks: She should just be ready to have Kate desert her at the most opportune moment.
Troy Franklin: Give it a rest, This team just formed.
{The bell sounds with Kayla exiting the ring along with Kate Steele, letting Amy Jo Smyth and Christy start it off. Smyth and Christy circle, and AJ looks for an opening to lock up, but Christy quickly just kicks her in the mid-section. Christy locks in a side headlock, but AJ manages to push her into the ropes and shoot her off. Christy comes off the ropes and AJ drops down and Christy goes over the top, continuing. Christy bounds again and AJ tries for a leapfrog, but Christy stops and when Smyth lands, Christy connects with another kick. Christy then runs Smyth back-first into the corner. Christy hits a stiff forearm and whips Smyth across to the opposite corner, which she hits hard back-first. Christy repeats the action but Smyth stops short, and goes up and over as Christy charges. Smyth waistlocks Christy and runs her into the ropes, but Christy holds the ropes. Smyth tumbles back and gets to her feet as Christy charges. Smyth ducks a clothesline, and connects with a dropkick that takes the younger Winters sister down! Smyth makes the cover! 1….. Christy kicks out.}
Troy Franklin: AJS looks as good as ever.
Duke King: Hasn't missed a beat.
{Smyth grabs Christy’s arm as she rises and wrings it. Christy reverses and wrings Smyth’s arm, but Smyth reverses right back, only to get poked in the eye. Smyth stumbles around blindly as Christy grabs a handful of Smyth’s hair and deliver a headbutt, then a couple of hard forearm shots. Christy leans Smyth into the ropes, but Kate tags Smyth from the outside. Christy sees it and takes a swipe at Kate, allowing Smyth to chop her and she and Kate toss Christy into the ropes for a double backdrop! Kate and AJ then deliver a double elbow drop, and high five, but Kayla has seen enough and bulldozes through BOTH Steele and Smyth!}
Troy Franklin: Holy cow! Kayla just ran them over like a freight train!
Duke King: Someone cue the Luda! Move! Get out the way!
Skye Sparks: Kayla is a physical beast. It's about time she used that to her advantage.
{Kayla goes to Christy and helps her up as Smyth and Steele regain their feet. Christy charges, but both Smyth and Steele duck and a double elbow sends Christy down and do the floor. Kayla charges again, but both Smyth and Steele duck again and Smyth picks Kate up by the waist and Kate dropkicks Kayla, sending her to the floor as well! The Winters sisters regroup on the floor as AJ and Kate give each other a high five again.}
Troy Franklin: So far, pretty good teamwork!
Duke King: It's early, but, so far, so good.
{The referee tries to regain control as AJ exits the ring and Kayla accepts a tag from Christy. Kayla and Kate circle until Kate tries for the lockup, but Kayla slips a knee into Kate’s ribs. Kayla then unleashes a chop and then a headbutt and Kate drops to the mat. Kayla stomps and kicks as Kate until she’s practically out of the ring on the apron. Kayla pulls her up and drops a clubbing forearm across Kate’s back, before being admonished by the official to get Kate into the ring. Kate fires back and stuns Kayla, re-entering the ring and hitting some punches, before attempting an Irish whip. Kayla easily reverses and ducks her head for a backdrop, but Kate hops over with a sunset flip attempt. However, Kayla is too strong and doesn’t go over. Kayla tries to punch Kate, but she gets out of the way. Kate hops up and tries a hurricanrana, but again, Kayla is too strong and goes nowhere. Smyth comes in and dropkicks Kayla in the back, and Kate is able to snap off the hurricanrana! 1….. Kayla kicks out.}
Troy Franklin: And even more teamwork!
Skye Sparks: Still waiting for that knife when the chips are down.
Troy Franklin: They look like they trust each other.
Duke King: For now.
{Kayla is up and swinging wildly, but Kate is too fast and ducks out of the way. Kate stuns her with a forearm and wrings Kayla’s arm, but Kayla just pulls her in for a knee to the mid-section again. Kayla tags Christy, holding her for Christy who takes a free shot with a kick rib in the ribs. Christy hits a chop on Kate to stun her, and whips her into the ropes. Kate goes through the legs of Christy, and again hops up for a Hurricanrana, but Christy blocks as well! AJ attempts to enter, but the referee will not let her do it again, and behind his back, Kayla enters and they double powerbomb Kate down to the mat!}
Troy Franklin: And there's a miscue.
Duke King: And like we said earlier, the Dynasty are the last people you want to five an endge to.
{Kayla exits the ring as Christy pulls Kate up and whips her into the ropes and connects with a back elbow. Christy tags Kayla back in and they hit a double suplex on Kate. Kayla stalks Kate as she tries to get up, and Kayla tosses her into the ropes and hits a nasty snap powerslam as well. Kate instinctively begins to crawl towards Smyth, but Kayla sees it and takes a cheap shot at AJ, who enters but the referee again makes her leave. Kayla drags Kate back into her corner and she and Christy switch, without a tag. Christy is now in and the referee questions it, and Kayla assures him that they made a legal tag. Christy in the meantime whips Kate into the ropes, who ducks a clothesline and connects with a flying forearm that takes Christy down! Kate slowly covers! 1……2…. Christy kicks out. Christy is up quickly, stomping away as Kate who is still trying to makes it to Smyth. Christy then pulls Kate up and delivers a vicious backbreaker. Christy reaches up and tags Kayla, who lazily enters and covers Kate. 1……2… Kate kicks out. Kate continues to try and crawl towards Smyth, who is waiting with her arm outstretched. Kayla pulls Kate up and whips her into the ropes, and the nearly BEHEADS her with a clothesline! Kate crawls slowly towards a corner, but not where Smyth is. Kayla is basically stalking her at this point, and when Kate gets up in the corner, Kayla charges, but eats a boot. Kate boots herself on the second rope and flies for a cross-body, but Kayla catches her in mid-air and powerslams her to the mat!}
Troy Franklin: The Dynasty have cut the ring in half, and Kate Steele is in a world of trouble.
Duke King: And Kayla looks like she's setting up for the end!
Skye Sparks: Moment of Bloody truth here!
{Kayla signals for the end and crouches down in the corner waiting on Kate to get up. Kate slowl stumbles up and Kayla charges for the spear, but Kate dives out of the way and Kayla collides with the ring post! Kayla clutches her shoulder as Kate makes a desperate crawl for Smyth!}
Troy Franklin: Kate's gotta make that tag!
Duke King: She's almost there!
{Kate crawls towards Smyth as Kayla tags in Christy. Christy tries to stop Kate from tagging, But Kate lunges and Smyth gets the tag!}
Troy Franklin: The tag is made!
{Smyth enters, hammering on Christy with right hands, and backs her into the ropes and shoots her off, connecting with a leg lariat on the rebound. Christy stumbles up into the corner where Smyth climbs and begins rattling off the 10 punches in the corner, but turns halfway through, seeing Kayla coming and dives onto her with a crossbody! Smyth gets up to meet Christy, nailing a couple of forearms. She tries for the Irish whip, but Christy reverses. Christy ducks her head for a backdrop, and catches a swinging neckbreaker for her troubles! Smyth covers! 1……2…. Christy kicks out!}
Troy Franklin: AJS is on fire here!
Skye Sparks: She's certainly on a roll now, but will Kate actually help her?
{Smyth pulls Christy to her feet, but Christy rakes the face of Smyth to stop her. Christy sends Smyth into the ropes and Smyth ducks under a clothesline, executing Kate’s wrap around DDT! Smyth looks at Steele, shrugs and smiles as she covers, but Kayla breaks it up before any count can be made. Steele comes flying across the ring with a full steam dropkick and then she and AJ clothesline Kayla over the top to the floor! Kate climbs to the top rope, looking for the Silence is Golden, but Christy rushes forward, avoiding the attack Kate rolls through, and Christy turns back right into the Southern Charm superkick! Christy goes down and Smyth makes the cover! 1……2…….3!}
Troy Franklin: They did it! An upset!
Skye Sparks: Well I'll be damned.
{Smyth quickly rolls out of the ring as Kate joins her on the floor. Kate and AJ share a look and Kate gives it a “not bad” kinda face and offers a handshake, but Smyth grabs her hand, closes her fist, and gives her a fist bump instead, before the two head up the ramp victorious as Kayla checks on Christy.}
{Backstage, cameras find Farrah Cornett in a solitary corner of the locker room, stretching and loosening up for her match later on in the evening. The look of intensity on the Crimson Angel’s face is borderline frightening as she goes from stretching to a bit of shadow boxing. Rolling her arms and shoulders back, she looks up as Peter Kelly comes her way, microphone in hand. Cornett looks less than pleased with the interruption but doesn’t shoo the interviewer away as he poses his questions.}
Peter Kelly: Peter Kelly here, LAW fans, backstage with Farrah Cornett as she prepares for her battle tonight with her tag team partner, Zoey Madigan-Star! Farrah, care to give us your thoughts going into this match?
{Pulling the towel from over her shoulder and wiping her brow, Farrah chuckles derisively and shakes her head.}
Farrah Cornett: What’s to tell? There’s two tales to tell here, Pete. First of all, I’m pretty sure the world knows about the tragedy that befell the wrestling world days ago.
{Nodding slowly, Peter responds with an appropriate level of subdued respect.}
Peter Kelly: Yes… her passing was a tragic one.
Farrah Cornett: To put it lightly. And that’s part of the motivation for tonight’s match. A tribute to a fallen warrior, if you will. Zoey and I both have something special planned to honor Jamilyn and give her a smile as she looks on from above.
{This seems to reassure Peter that Farrah isn’t in quite the fiery mood that he’d first suspected and the interviewer loosens up just a bit.}
Peter Kelly: I think the fans, both in attendance and watching at home, will be happy to see that. And as to the match itself… how are you feeling about facing off with your best friend, a woman you’ve been tag champions with for 364 days as of tonight?
{The Crimson Angel’s expression hardens a bit and she turns her fierce stare on Peter, who recoils ever so slightly.}
Farrah Cornett: You want the truth on that? Unvarnished and straight up?
Peter Kelly: Um… yes?
Farrah Cornett: Good. Because that’s all I deal in: truth. And the truth is that I don’t like it. I don’t like it because I know that Zoey’s heart isn’t in it. She was already on edge but Jamilyn passing tore out her heart. She can say all she wants that she means to give me a fight tonight and part of me wants to believe her. The woman’s not given to dishonesty. But when things get fierce out there tonight, and believe me they WILL...
{Her tone is one that actually dares argument.}
Farrah Cornett: ...I don’t think she’s going to have the stomach to do what's necessary.
Peter Kelly: And you on the other hand?
Farrah Cornett: I have no problem throwing down with anyone and kicking the tar out of them. It’s the way I was brought up and taught myself to be. I love Zoey with all my heart, but if I have to bust her up to get the win tonight? I’m going to do it. And I’m not going to feel bad about it later. She isn’t stupid. She knows what she’s getting into it. She knows what this match could mean for her and I.
{Farrah pauses for a moment, taking a breath and trying to calm herself down a little, her mood getting more heated than she would like.}
Farrah Cornett: Look, Pete: Zoey and I? We’ve dominated the tag division here in LAW. There ain’t been a team made yet that can beat us in that ring. Doesn’t matter where we wrestle or who we wrestle. We’re the top chicks in charge, kicking ass and packing gold. Anyone who tries to argue that point is short on brain cells. The only reason that we’re tangling with each other tonight is there’s just no one left. But domination doesn’t last. One day, someone’s gonna beat us for the gold. And then? Then we have a choice to make. That’s what I mean by this match meaning something for her and I.
Peter Kelly: How so?
Farrah Cornett: Did the Naughty Girls ever get a rematch against us for the gold? No. And they reigned for close to 300 days themselves. Dupree and Helms-King aren’t going to give us a rematch, either. So there’ll be a tough choice to make when our time comes: do we keep going as a team or try our hand in the singles ranks? I don’t have an answer to that question right now, so don’t ask. But I know Zoey is wondering, too, and tonight might make the decision for us one way or the other.
{Peter is about to pose another question when someone, a stage assistant, comes up and hands Farrah a blood-red envelope. She takes it, with some reluctance, and stares at it as the headset-wearing male heads off. Peter looks after him, then to the envelope. Farrah, locked on to the message, blinks a bit when Kelly poses a question again.}
Peter Kelly: Another message? Word is that some… people… have been courting your services, Farrah. Is this another attempt at-
Farrah Cornett: That’s not something you need to worry about, Pete. This is personal. I’ll thank you not to ask about it. Now… I got a match to get ready for. Go scare up Zoey if you want answers.
{Taking the hint, Peter turns and leaves as Farrah continues to stare at the envelope, her mood taking a sharp downturn at the sight of it.}
Beth Harris: Our next match tonight is a one-on-one encounter set for one fall! Introducing first…
{The arena fades to black as the screen lights up and we are treated to an old school movie countdown image.
5

3
Suddenly the countdown is stopped by claws slashing through the image and a cat’s roar sounds through the arena. Janet Jackson’s “Black Cat” blasts through the speakers and Seleana Zdunich is led through the entranceway by her girlfriend and tag team partner, Crystal Hilton. The two make their way to the ring, slapping hands along the way as the crowd cheers them on.}
Beth Harris: ...led to the ring by Crystal Hilton from Los Angeles California and weighing in at 125 pounds… SELEANA ZDUNICH
Troy Franklin: Crystal Hilton’s other half in the house looking to make an impact here at Rising Stars
Duke King: And she could be a rising star, the way she carries herself with Crystal on her arm means she is a big deal and tonight she looks to prove it
Skye Sparks: So she’s riding Crystals coattails?...is that what you’re saying?
Duke King: What?...no!. Don’t put words in my mouth Sparks
Beth Harris: And introducing her opponent… from Florence Italy and weighing in at 125 pounds… Maria Salvatore!!!!
{The theme from the Godfather plays and Maria walks out, flanked by her goons.Fans reach out to grab Maria’s hands but she pulls them away looking disgusted about them trying to touch her. Maria gets down to the ring and walks up the steps before stepping into the ring and laughing at the fans with a snarl.}
Troy Franklin: Miss Salvatore has been here for a few months now but hasn’t quite been able to make that big splash
Duke King: Maria had a change of attitude and she hasn’t found her stride
Skye Sparks: I like the attitude. I can see Maria being the more aggressive
{Salvatore and Zdunich move around one another sizing each other up. Zdunich taller and more athletic but Salvatore looking to be the stronger of the two. They lock up, Zdunich tries to push down on Salvatore using her height advantage, Salvatore though pulls Zdunich down and ducks under hooking her head under Zdunichs arm lifting her up and over with a bridging northern lights suplex for a quick pinning combination
ONE
TWO
Zdunich kicks out and Salvator pops to her feet. Zdunich seems angry and a little embarrassed as she steps in but Salvator hits an arm drag before spinning back to her feet, she hits another one and does the same, Zdunich moves fast going back at Salvatore again but Salvatore ducks, picks Zdunich up and hits a scoop slam in the middle of the ring. Zdunich holds her back arching in pain as Salvatore steps back and measures Zdunich up waiting for her to get to her feet as the crowd rains down boo’s on Maria but cheers for Zdunich}
Troy Franklin: Salvatore seems to be the more technically gifted here...
Duke King: Zdunich is an athletic freak, very tall and very fast while Salvator is strong and technically balanced
Skye Sparks: Who cares about athleticism and technical skill?....throw some punches, do some damage, work on a limb!
{Salvatore hits Zdunich with a few right hands taking her against the ropes, she whips Zdunich across the ring and goes for a hip toss, Zdunich jumps using the momentum to flip forward landing on her feet, she hits Salvatore in the stomach puts her leg over Salvatores head and as Salvatore stands up she flips Zdunich backward, she lands on her feet and pulls Salvatore into a vicious lariat taking her down. Zdunich spins around and hits a standing moonsault hooking Maria’s leg for a count
ONE
TWO
Maria kicks out.}
Troy Franklin: Zdunich has been able to get the momentum to swing her way
Duke King: Maria was in charge but again Zdunich used her athleticism to take over with a few reversals
Skye Sparks: That lariat sounded brutal too
{Zdunich maintains control as she pulls Salvatore to her feet and picks her up sitting her on the top rope, she climbs up and goes for a hurricanrana sending Salvatore into the center of the ring, Zdunich then looks over at Crystal winking at her fiance before grabbing Salvatore’s legs turning her over into a boston crab sitting down low. Salvatore reaches for the ropes and drags and pulls herself closer while Zdunich pulls back hard. After a few moments she is able to get the the bottom rope. Zdunich breaks the hold but keeps a hold of Salvatore’s leg pulling her away from the ropes as she stands and hops}
Skye Sparks: Dance bitch hahahahaha
Troy Franklin: Salvatore was able to get to the ropes quick but you have to wonder how much damage that boston crab did
Skye Sparks: It puts alot of pressure on that lower back
Duke King: Salvatore looks like she wants to kill Zdunich
{Zdunich pulls Salvatore forward going for another lariat, Salvatore ducks and hooks her arms around Zdunichs midsection and hits a german suplex, she rolls her hips and pulls Zdunich up hitting a second, she rolls her hips a third time and hits the third one this time releasing sending Zdunich sailing over the top landing on her head and the back of her neck folding the taller woman up. Salvatore wastes no time or movement popping back up and pulling a stunned Zdunich to her feet setting her up for a picture perfect brainbuster!. Salvatore pins
ONE
TWO
Zdunich kicks out. Salvatore can’t believe it. She gets to her feet and shoves the referee causing the fans to boo. She measures Zdunich up and goes for the Off with her head (Killswitch) as she spins her around Zdunich shoves Salvatore into the ropes throat first Salvatore stumbles back holding her throat, Zdunich grabs her head and runs up the corner hitting the Family Tradition!, she lands hard pulling Salvatore into a pin.
ONE
TWO
Salvatore kicks out!}
Troy Franklin: And Maria is barely able to escape!
Duke King: This is anyone's ballgame right now. Seleana cannot rest against someone as crafty as Maria.
{Zdunich slowly gets to her feet and sees Maria still down and heads outside, she climbs to the top rope, but sees Maria has rolled away and has actually rolled outside the ring. She waves off the match and starts walking away.}
Skye Sparks: Typical Italian.
Troy Franklin: I don't think that's appropriate.
Skye Sparks: Doesn't make it any less true.
{Maria is trying to leave but Zdunich exits the ring, and catches her, tossing her back into the ring and eyeballing her Maria begs off, pleading with Zdunich that she's sorry and she's had enough. Seleana doesn't buy it, but Maria uses the small opening and pokes her in the eye! Maria then wraps the arms, looking for Off with her head, but Zdunich pushes off. Maria turns and charges, but eats a spinning back kick to the midsection, and Zdunich hooks Maria's head and then connects with the Kattöga! [Asai DDT] Sel hooks both legs as the ref gets into position!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!}
Troy Franklin: Seleana gets the victory!
Duke King: Hard fought, and hard earned!
Skye Sparks: Well, this just confirms my theory that Maria is awful.
{Seleana rises up off of Maria and looks down at her as her music plays. She screams and talks trash as Maria lays there hurt. Seleana exits the ring and walks up the ramp, greeted by Crystal Hilton as the two embrace to celebrate Seleana's win. Meanwhile in the ring, Maria's goons help her to her feet.}
{Once again, intrepid LAW interviewer, Peter Kelly, is found backstage as the show continues. This time, he’s approaching Zoey Madigan-Star as she gets ready for her match later on. Unlike her partner, Zoey is quite a bit more subdued, slowly winding tape around her left hand, taking more care than is truly necessary in getting it just right. She looks up when Peter approaches and offers as welcoming a smile as she can before tearing off the strip from the roll and rising, flexing her fingers as she does so.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: Hello, Peter.
Peter Kelly: Hello.
{There’s a bit of an uncomfortable silence, then...}
Peter Kelly: Fair to assume that you heard the comments from your partner about the match later tonight?
Zoey Madigan-Star: I have, yes. And there’s not much I can say in response other than she’s absolutely right. My heart isn’t in this. It was before the terrible news came to us, but now? Even knowing that we’re going out there with the intent of honoring Jamilyn tonight as well as fighting it out to the best of our ability… I don’t know...
{The shadow of a smile fades and Zoey, wearing a Boardwalk Angels hoodie with her title sitting on the bench nearby, sighs quietly.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: ...I don’t feel like I’m going out there to fight my best friend, you know? Lately, she’s been dealing with some harsh stuff and Jami’s passing just added to that. We haven’t talked as much as usual and I’m having a hard time getting her to open up.
Peter Kelly: Such as about this Red Lady stuff?
Zoey Madigan-Star: Yeah… exactly like that.
{Picking up the tag title and draping it over her shoulder after a longing look, Zoey tries to put another smile on. She half-succeeds.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: For almost a year we’ve been champions. It feels like a lifetime ago that we came into LAW and blazed our way to the top, not looking back once. I’ve enjoyed every moment of that, even the rough ones. Tonight… I can’t say it’s just another match. That’s not true. But I should be able to put it proper perspective. I just… can’t.
Farrah Cornett: You’d better figure out how in a hurry.
{Farrah Cornett comes walking up, wearing the same sweatshirt and having her own title over her shoulder. The tension thickens to an extreme amount as the two women are face-to-face… partners overall, but opponents in mere minutes. Zoey meets the eyes of her best friend but Farrah almost stares her down.}
Peter Kelly: Ladies, please save it for the ring...
Zoey Madigan-Star: We’re going to. You’re getting the best I can give, Farrah. You know that.
Farrah Cornett: Am I? I’m the last person that you can bullshit, Zee. I know you too well. If you don’t want this, I suggest you leave now. You know good and well that I ain’t holding back for no one, least of all the woman I respect most.
{Tentatively, Zoey reaches out and puts a hand on her partner’s shoulder. Farrah freezes for a second, then shrugs it off angrily. Peter tries to get in between them...}
Peter Kelly: Hold on now…
{...but Farrah stares him right out of the way!}
Farrah Cornett: Just hold the mic, Pete!
{She returns her attention to Zoey, who is now looking positively conflicted.}
Farrah Cornett: I’m only saying this once, Zoey, so hear me well: you claim I’m getting your best? It’s not me who needs to see and feel that. It’s Jami. This match is for her. Yeah, it means something to us, too… we’ve been over that. But we’re honoring someone special tonight and if you go out there and half-ass it, I will never forgive you. And she won’t, either.
Zoey Madigan-Star: Do you seriously have to be so harsh right now?
Farrah Cornett: If that’s what it takes to get you amped up? Then yes. And I’ll go a lot farther between those ropes.
{The women are almost nose to nose now and though he wants to break things up if he can, Peter isn’t willing to risk their wrath by doing so.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: I said you’d get my best. Don’t you dare try and call me a liar.
Farrah Cornett: Then don’t make yourself out to be one. Come out there at the top of your game. Or not only will I not forgive you, but I’ll embarrass you. Understood?
{Jaw set and her eyes narrowed, Zoey nods slowly. Farrah, nodding in response, firmly slaps the title over Zoey’s shoulder.}
Farrah Cornett: Then I trust you. See you out there.
{She walks off without another word. Zoey stares after her, then off into space. Peter brings the mic back, looking to pose another question, but Zoey calmly puts a hand on it and lowers it, shaking her head before leaving the scene as well.}
{There’s murmurs of excitement in the crowd already as the next match is about to start, no doubt due to the competitors who will be taking part. It isn’t often than tag team partners face off one-on-one, and even less so when they are champions. Beth Harris enters the ring as the announce team runs down some last-minute details.}
Troy Franklin: This match… I’m not gonna lie, guys. It’s a little disconcerting. The Boardwalk Angels, Farrah Cornett and Zoey Madigan-Star, facing off one-on-one. They’re the tag team champions for crying out loud!
Duke King: It’s a strange situation to be sure, more so because neither woman seems bothered by the potential for disaster.
Skye Sparks: You guys worry over nothing. Like them or not, these two are professionals. Tomorrow marks one year as tag champs for them and they’ve simply run out of challengers. So the best way to stay sharp is to face off with each other. Why all the worry?
{Taking the microphone, Beth Harris steps up to the center of the ring, her smile ever-present as she begins the introductions.}
Beth Harris: The following match is a one-on-one encounter set for one fall! Introducing first…
"Yeah, run run run run run run run run run run...
RUN~!
YEAH!"
RUN~!
YEAH!"
{The crushing, grinding guitars of Kittie's "Run Like Hell" start to play as a fiercely determined Farrah Cornett storms through the curtain. She wears an eager grin on her face as she cracks her knuckles, tossing her head back to lower her hood. Her ring gear tonight is rather out of the ordinary for the Crimson Angel and it takes a moment for recognition to set in for the fans. In honor of her dearly departed stepdaughter, Jamilyn Cornett, Farrah has affected a black-and-red set of Nightwing-inspired ring gear. It certainly gets a reaction from the fans as she starts down the ramp, giving a few fist bumps to the fans on her way to the ring.}
Beth Harris: ...currently residing in Fort Wayne, Indiana and weighing in at 121 pounds, she is one-half of the LAW Tag Team Champions… the Jersey Hellcat… FARRAH CORNETT!
"You better make your face up in your favourite disguise
With your button-down lips and your roller-blind eyes
With your empty smile
And your hungry heart
Feel the bile rising from your guilty past
With your nerves in tatters when the cockleshell shatters
And the hammers batter down the door
You'd better RUN!
LIKE HELL!"
With your button-down lips and your roller-blind eyes
With your empty smile
And your hungry heart
Feel the bile rising from your guilty past
With your nerves in tatters when the cockleshell shatters
And the hammers batter down the door
You'd better RUN!
LIKE HELL!"
Troy Franklin: So this is what the Angels alluded to earlier in the evening; a bit of a tribute to former LAW and HYBRID talent Jamilyn Cornett...
Duke King: I like it. Farrah rocks it every bit as well as Jamilyn did. Look at those eyes, though… she doesn’t look like she’s here for a friendly spar. She looks ready to wreck someone.
Skye Sparks: That someone is her partner. A lot of people are looking close at this match, boys; they want to know who the better Angel is. Tonight, we’re gonna find out.
{Stomping up steps and entering between the ropes, Farrah moves to the middle of the ring, stretching her neck and slamming her fist into her palm, looking as though she's itching to put it through someone's face. She backs into one of the empty corners, shrugging off her jacket and title belt, tightening her gloves as she awaits the start of the match with glaring eyes and a twisted grin.}
Troy Franklin: Not a woman I’d want to fight in any alley whatsoever...
Duke King: Her opponents would tell you the same.
Beth Harris: And now, introducing her opponent!
{The bouncy pop theme "Magic" by The Pussycat Dolls starts up as Zoey Madigan-Star saunters out through the curtains and to the top of the ramp, twirling her wand while tipping her top hat low over her eyes.}
"Pick a card, any card, that's what he told me
I took it to Rodeo and it worked like magic for me
Spa, massage, a lap of the lux
His and hers, flying spurs, automatical rush"
I took it to Rodeo and it worked like magic for me
Spa, massage, a lap of the lux
His and hers, flying spurs, automatical rush"
{However, before she makes her way down the ramp, smoke rises up to obscure the Sorcerous Angel. After a few moments, it blows away and her attire has changed entirely. Whereas Farrah’s gear was done up in red and black, Zoey’s is blue and black yet still with the Nightwing motif though the wings are more angelic than avian. Lifting her head, she offers up a smile to the cheering masses as she starts down the ramp. The hands of the fans are met en route until Zoey gets to the ring, standing at the apron and staring up and into the squared circle.}
Beth Harris: From Malibu, California by way of Trenton, New Jersey and weighing in at 143 pounds, she is the other half of the LAW Tag Team Champions… the Sorceress Supreme of Professional Wrestling… ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR!
"I'm charming, don't charm I'm on a chain
Don't hate me, hate the game
I can wave my wand and like that
Now we all alone"
Don't hate me, hate the game
I can wave my wand and like that
Now we all alone"
Skye Sparks: Well, that look tells me all I need to know: Zoey’s mind isn’t on the match. That or she’s letting Farrah inside her head already.
Troy Franklin: You saying she’s scared of her partner, Skye?
Duke King: Doesn’t sound like the Zoey these fans know and love. Maybe she’s not looking as intense as Farrah right now, but once that bell rings-
Skye Sparks: What? Once it rings what? Farrah is here for a fight and Zoey is here for friendly competition from the looks of things. I’m calling this one as ending ugly… starting that way, too.
{Ascending to the apron, Zoey hooks the ropes with her arms and flips backwards into the ring, landing on her feet. She slips out of her cape gracefully, tossing it to the floor and climbing up onto the turnbuckles, taking off her title and holding it up high as the fans roar their approval. Farrah, meanwhile, watches her every move impassively.}
"Just like that your mine
Like magic, magic, magic...
With just one blink of an eye
Like magic, magic, magic...
I know I caught you by surprise
Like magic, magic, magic...
Won't be the same outfit tonight
Like magic, magic, magic...
Like magic"
Like magic, magic, magic...
With just one blink of an eye
Like magic, magic, magic...
I know I caught you by surprise
Like magic, magic, magic...
Won't be the same outfit tonight
Like magic, magic, magic...
Like magic"
{Dropping down after a few moments, Zoey hands off the title to the ringside attendant and faces Farrah again. A barely-noticeable nod is given by both women as they come forward to the center of the ring, the referee running down the rules while the Boardwalk Angels stare at one another, “Magic” fading out in the process.}
Skye Sparks: She can barely look Farrah in the eye here. Man, I wish I could read lips…
{Does seem to be a little conversing between the two after the referee backs off and calls for the bell. Zoey holds out her hand to her partner and opponent and, after a moment’s hesitation, Farrah briefly shakes it as they get underway. The two lock up and Farrah is the aggressor from the start, as expected. She bullies Zoey into the turnbuckles but breaks clean when prompted. Waiting until the Crimson Angel backs off a few steps before moving, Zoey comes forward and the tag champs lock up again. This time, Zoey exerts more defiance but Farrah still shoves her to the mat forcefully. Zoey rolls up to a knee and gets back on her feet, sidestepping Farrah as she charges into the corner. Cornett stops short of colliding with the padded steel and turns into a hiptoss from Zoey. She’s up on her feet again quickly only to be brought down by an armdrag with the Sorcerous Angel putting an armbar on her. Farrah is quick to get to her feet, twisting out of her partner’s grip and shooting her into the ropes.}
Troy Franklin: Things are fairly calm to start here… and there’s a big shoulderblock from Farrah… and another! Zoey kips up to her feet but Farrah blocks a hiptoss and WHAT a clothesline!
Duke King: That knocked some of the light out of Zoey’s eyes! What a shot!
{Farrah immediately goes for the pin but only gets a one-count before she’s shoved off. Zoey quickly rolls away and gets back to her feet, a hand on the ropes. Farrah paces as the referee checks on Madigan-Star and wastes little time in charging her partner again when she has clearance. A big Irish whip sends Zoey into the far corner and she has to move fast to get the boot up to stop Farrah’s charge. Cornett catches the boot, however, and shoves it down to the mat. Zoey charges this time, tackling Farrah to the mat and rolling her up for a one-count with a modified schoolgirl. Farrah is up quick but Zoey does not pursue, instead keeping her distance. Some frustration begins to show in the Jersey Hellcat and she clearly yells at Zoey to “stop wasting time!” before the two lock up again. This time, they jockey for the advantage mid-ring until Farrah grabs Zoey by the hair and yanks her down to the mat hard. An elbow drop is narrowly avoided by Zoey but the running kick to the ribs isn’t, leaving her groaning on the mat. Farrah, not giving her room to breathe, pulls Zoey up and hits a jumping knee, following up with a springboard roundhouse kick and a two-count on the follow-up pin!}
Skye Sparks: See? Farrah’s here for a fight and Zoey’s in there trying to play nice! Guess all that talk about throwing down was crap after all!
{Farrah brushes past the referee, shoving Zoey into the corner and grabbing her by the head, yelling at her again.}
Farrah Cornett: You are NOT pulling this crap now! You are NOT going to shame her, do you hear me?!
{Defiance is etched on Zoey’s face and she shoves Farrah away though she does not answer her demands. Farrah smirks, thinking she finally has a fight on her hands but when the two lock up again, Zoey merely takes her down to the mat. She hesitates, her fist drawn back, but she doesn’t take the shot and Farrah comes up with her legs around Zoey’s neck, twisting her around and bringing her to the mat with a headscissors takedown! The momentum sends Zoey skidding across the ring and she comes up to a knee right as Farrah charges in and drives her face-first to the mat with the Sudden Stop (headscissors DDT)! Zoey crumbles to the mat as Farrah makes the cover, hooking the leg!}
Troy Franklin: One… two… NO! Zoey got hold of the ropes! But that was close! This one was almost over in a hurry!
Duke King: Somehow, I don’t think it was meant to end things...
Skye Sparks: Farrah’s trying to get Zoey to fight her proper but the little coward is being obstinate!
Duke King: Harsh, Skye. I’m sure Zoey has her reasons.
{Those reasons don’t seem to matter to Farrah, who pulls up a groggy Zoey and shoves her into the corner. Lighting her chest up with several big chops, Farrah grabs Zoey by the head and steps out of the corner, driving her partner to the mat with Kiss This! (snapmare driver). She backs off afterward, though, shouting at her partner to “get up and fight already!”. Oddly enough, it is desperation that Farrah is emanating at this point, not anger. Of her own accord, Zoey gets to her feet, staring at Farrah and shaking her head. Desperation gives way to frustration and Farrah gets right in her partner’s face, forehead-to-forehead, nose-to-nose, demanding that Zoey hit her.}
Troy Franklin: Feels like we’re watching a perverted remake of Fight Club here. Farrah is practically begging Zoey to hit her here…
{The prodding continues until Zoey shoves Farrah back. The shove is returned but Zoey grabs Farrah by the arms and jerks her forward. Locking her arms tight around the Crimson Angel’s waist, the Magical Maiden turns and whips her over to the mat with a big belly-to-belly suplex! Floating over into a mount, she again rears back with a balled-up right hand, her left gripping Farrah’s hair… but Madigan-Star can’t bring herself to take the shot!}
Duke King: I’m not getting this! She sounded more than ready earlier on! What happened?!
Skye Sparks: Farrah wants to know the same thing… and there’s a shot to the face! They heard that one in the cheap seats!
{Farrah, tired of her partner’s obstinance, cracks her across the face with a slap that echoes loud in the arena, drawing an ‘ohhhh’ from the fans! Recoiling, Zoey is back on her feet, holding her cheek. Her right hand trembles as her fist tightens but Farrah is done waiting and nails a discus elbow shot that sends Zoey tumbling through the ropes and to the outside! Farrah follows after and whips her partner into the barricade, the impact hard enough to drop Zoey to a sitting position on the floor whereupon the Crimson Angel delivers a hesitation dropkick! Pulling her up and sending her into the ring, Farrah follows after Zoey and goes for a big corkscrew roundhouse kick on the half-risen Madigan-Star!}
Troy Franklin: Frozen Flare incoming! One of Jamilyn’s pet finishers!
Duke King: Zoey ducked it, though! Farrah almost went right through the ropes herself!
{Only almost, though. Farrah turns and Zoey delivers a facebreaker knee smash, then delivers the Trap Chamber (leaping reverse STO) to Farrah! She’s still down but working on getting up as Farrah recoils from the twofold impacts. Pulling herself up via the ropes, Zoey has a hand on her jaw where she was slapped, her dark hair masking her face as Farrah, shakily, comes up to her feet. The Crimson Angel actually seems to be smiling at this point, feeling as though she has finally gotten through to Zoey. That expression fades when the Magical Maiden catches her with an inverted atomic drop, following up with a reverse STO right into a Koji clutch! The fans are on their feet as Cornett realizes, perhaps too late, what she’s awakened! Zoey’s expression is twisted in rage as she wrenches hard on her partner near the center of the ring!}
Skye Sparks: Finally woke the little idiot up! And now Farrah’s on the receiving end of another move out of Jamilyn’s playbook: the Master Ball!
Troy Franklin: Talk about a nasty submission! Farrah better find an answer for this in a hurry or it’s gonna be lights out!
Duke King: She’s trying to do just that and… she does it! Cornett gets a foot on the ropes just in time!
{When Zoey doesn’t immediately release, however, the referee starts his count and she finally lets go at the count of three. On her knees, she clutches her head with both hands, shaking it back and forth. Farrah, rolling out of the ring to find some cover, looks up in time to see Zoey’s confused state and she slams her fists on the apron in agitation. Still hurting from the rapid-fire assault moments ago, Farrah rolls in and aims a big kick at Zoey’s face, missing when the Magical Maiden bridges Matrix-style to avoid it. She drives a back kick into Cornett’s midsection and goes for a jumping cutter only to get shoved forward. Farrah leaps onto Zoey’s shoulders, looking to fall forward into a victory roll but Zoey reverses, spinning Farrah around and delivering a buckle bomb to the Crimson Angel! But Farrah comes out of the corner in a fury of her own, driving Zoey to the mat with a running STO! Grabbing Zoey by the head, Farrah tries to wrap her into the Twist & Scream (dragon sleeper with bodyscissors) but Zoey fights her way out, kicking Farrah away! Lunging, Madigan-Star goes for the Seeing Stars (scissored DDT) but Farrah has her scouted and gets away! The two women stare one another down after evading one another’s finishers, then charge and trade fists and forearms like a pair of Amazons! Every shot is answered, neither woman bothering to block! Sneaking in a knee to the gut, Farrah attempts a second Sudden Stop but Zoey slings her off and into the ropes! Snaring the arm, Madigan-Star seeks to lock in the Spellbound (rolling cross armbreaker) but Cornett smartly rolls from the ring before she can clamp down!}
Troy Franklin: Not sure if what it took to get to this point was a good thing, but now we’ve got us a proper battle!
Duke King: They know each other so well in that ring that neither can get hold with one of their finishers, barring that first wicked Sudden Stop from Farrah earlier in the match!
Skye Sparks: Now it’s who runs out of gas first! Or whether Zoey can keep up this violent facade!
{Zoey isn’t about to let things lay at this point; the Sorcerous Angel has been awoken, so to speak, and she hits the ropes with intentions of a big dive on Farrah! Cornett smartly moves to the side only for Zoey to recoil off the ropes with a flip, landing on her feet mid-ring and actually taunting Cornett with a deep bow! Farrah, a little taken aback, laughs at the gesture before rolling back in. Zoey tries to connect with a big boot and the smaller Farrah ducks, driving a big forearm into the back of her partner’s head, knocking her into the ropes! A German suplex follows but Zoey flips out of it and drives both boots into the back of Farrah, knocking her into a position where she’s draped over the second rope. Pulling another move out of Jami’s bag of tricks, Zoey hits the ropes and comes around with a Mega Flareon (619) that sends Farrah tumbling backwards into the ring! Vaulting to the top rope, Zoey springs off at Farrah but has to land in a roll when the Jersey Hellcat sees her coming. Not able to react in time, Zoey gets brought down hard with a variation of the Coldfire Branding (standing sea fire) and barely kicks out before the count of three! Farrah, keeping the pressure on, sends Zoey into the corner and follows with a big clothesline! Backing into the far corner, Farrah charges again and Zoey slips between the top and middle ropes to the apron, leading to Cornett crashing chest-first against the padded steel! Swinging a big kick over the top rope to the side of Cornett’s head, Zoey knocks her down and starts to ascend!}
Troy Franklin: Zoey heading up to the high rent district here… wait, she’s not gonna do THAT move, is she?!
Duke King: Eyes on the magician, kids! Don’t blink!
{Back to Farrah, Zoey takes a breath and sails off the top rope for the Delightful Devastation (double-rotation moonsault), landing hard across the chest of her partner! She needs a few moments to recover while the fans roar in approval, and those seconds cost her as Farrah gets a foot on the ropes just before the referee’s hand hits for three!}
Skye Sparks: How in the hell did she kick out of that?! It hurt me and I’m not even in the ring!
{Seeming like she wants to know the same, Zoey is shown two fingers by the referee and resigns herself to continuing the battle. She pulls Farrah up and sends her shoulder-first into the turnbuckles, grabbing the arm after and wrenching it hard enough to drive her partner to the mat face-first! Changing her tactics, Zoey puts on a Fujiwara armbar, trying to get a submission out of Farrah, who again gets a foot over the bottom rope to stave off that outcome! Zoey stays on the attack and Farrah, expecting the Spellbound, rolls Zoey up when she goes for it!
ONE…
TWO…
THREE?!
No! Zoey gets her shoulder up a hair’s breadth before the third slap of the mat! Up to a knee, Zoey is a bit discombobulated and Farrah, looking to put an end to the match, aims a buzzsaw kick to the side of her partner’s head! Half-conscious from the blow, Zoey needs the ropes to even get up to her knees with Farrah shaking out her right arm a bit, trying to get proper feeling back into it. Backing off, she stalks Zoey for the Sudden Stop, coming at her but falling hard to the mat when Madigan-Star keeps a grip on the ropes, sparing herself another jarring impact! Zoey goes for the Spellbound but, again, is kicked away! She comes forward again and walks right into the Frozen Flare!}
Troy Franklin: The kick connects! That has to be it!
{Leaning hard into the back press with the far leg hooked, Farrah holds on tight…
ONE…
TWO…
THREE?!
NO!
Zoey kicks out again at the last moment and reaches out to grab hold of Farrah’s arm before she moves! Immediately realizing what’s happening, Cornett tries to wriggle out of Zoey’s grasp but the Sorcerous Angel is determined and refuses to let go! Wrapping her legs around Farrah’s right arm, she twists and wrenches until she breaks the grip of Farrah’s fingers, finally locking in the Spellbound!}
Duke King: It’s in! The Spellbound is locked in!
Skye Sparks: Good position, too! Zoey’s got her body between Farrah and the ropes here!
{Reaching over, fighting against the pain, Farrah gets her fingers interlaced again and fights to get some leverage on Zoey. With a rush of adrenaline, she heaves the Sorcerous Angel up and drives her to the mat with a modified sit-out powerbomb… but Zoey keeps hanging on, breaking Farrah’s grip again! Even farther from the ropes at this point, Cornett fights the pain but after several agonizing seconds she has no choice but to tap out!}
Beth Harris: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner via submission… ZOEY MADIGAN-STAR!
{Releasing the hold, Zoey lies back on the mat, breathing heavily from the exertions. Farrah, holding her right arm, sits up and scoots herself back against the ropes, agony etched on her features.}
Duke King: What a match! Cliche as it sounds, that’s the kind of fights that have been keeping these two champions for so long!
Skye Sparks: Once Farrah got Zoey’s head in the game, things damn sure picked up!
{Zoey gets to her knees, then her feet, but falls back against the ropes as her arm is raised, “Magic” playing over the PA system. Farrah, likewise having issues getting to her feet, makes a beeline for her partner and almost shoves the referee aside. She stares intensely at the suddenly-contrite Zoey and it looks as though another fight is about to break out...}
Troy Franklin: Uh-oh… hold on here… the match is over, ladies...
Duke King: They might have taken things a bit too far...
{Zoey tries to ease things down, gesturing to the referee to stay back and offering her hand to Farrah. Staring down at it, Cornett after a moment slaps it away and steps in to embrace her partner. There’s no small amount of relief in the sight of this, the fans cheering quite loudly at it all. Farrah raises the arm of her partner before both point to the heavens and leave the ring together, heading backstage.}
Troy Franklin: Whew… that was too close.
Duke King: Thankfully, friendship still means something to some people in wrestling.
Skye Sparks: I could’ve done without the mush, personally, but hey… it was a good fight while it lasted, so there’s that.
Beth Harris: The following contest, is for the LAW Chaos championship!
{The instrumental opening of 'Break my Mind" begins playing as the fans begin to boo. The lights in the arena go out as a dull flicker of the lights momentarily light up the ramps. Elizabeth Blackwell walks down the ramp slowly, almost like she is teleporting between flickers of the lights until she gets to the ring. She climbs inside and walks to the corner, jumping on the top rope to wait for the match to start.}
Troy Franklin: Elizabeth Blackwell isn't exactly a fan favorite, but she's earning a lot of respect these days.
Duke King: She'll earn even more if she comes out on top tonight.
{Purple lighting fills the arena as "Paparazzi" plays. From behind the curtain, Roxy Cotton emerges with a spin and a flourish and a smile spreading across her face. The sequins sewn into her purple velvet ring gear sparkle as camera flashes blink throughout the audience and Roxy makes her way to the ring, avoiding any physical contact with the fans who try to reach out and touch her.}
Troy Franklin: There's the Chaos champion.
Troy Franklin: Chaos is basically her middle name. And she's reveling in it. She's a huge star you know. Just ask her.
Troy Franklin: I'd rather not.
4
Duke King: She wouldn't give you the time of day anyway.
Skye Sparks: Troy wears a watch...
Duke King: That's not.... nevermind.
{The bells sounds and Blackwell wastes no time attacking Cotton before she can even fully get into the ring. And she wastes no time immediately tossing Roxy through the ropes to the floor! Blackwell heads outside herself and grabs a steel chair! She walks over as Roxy is slowly getting up, and whacks her across the back with it!}
Troy Franklin: Well, we're getting started early.
Skye Sparks: So long as they stay away from here.
{Blackwell then jams the chair into Roxy’s shoulder for good measure before grabbing Cotton and tossing her over the barricade into the first row! Blackwell follows and Roxy tries to create some distance and scrambles away, but Blackwell keeps on the attack, before Cotton grabs a nearby chair and jams it into Blackwell’s ribs. Cotton is finally able to get up and hits some forearms before picking up Blackwell and just unceremoniously dropping her back first on the hard cement floor! Roxy stumbles over to the technical area and grabs a fire extinguisher, and blasts it in Blackwell’s face to blind her, and send her scurrying away to catch her breath. Cotton takes the time to catch her breath, and grabs a candy dish, tossing it at Blackwell, who is able to see it coming and move. The dish hits the wall and explodes on impact! Blackwell charges with a kick and slams Cotton’s face into the tech table. Blackwell then gets some payback, blasting Cotton in the face with the fire extinguisher! Roxy dramatically sells this, her hands flailing wildly as she is hit. She goes through the curtain to the backstage area as Blackwell is in hot pursuit.}
Troy Franklin: Well, this escalated quickly.
Duke King: Roxy is facing someone who may even be more adapt at this then she is.
Skye Sparks: Blackwell knows she has to take it to the champion. Especially in this environment.
{Blackwell moves into the backstage are, only to be hit in the head by a wet floor sign! Cotton then grabs Blackwell and tosses her into some equipment cases. Cotton then grabs a garbage can and slams that against Blackwell’s back. Cotton then pulls Blackwell with her and tries to throw her through a door, but Blackwell stops it, kicks Cotton the mid-section and tosses her into the door and through it instead.}
Troy Franklin: And we're headed... I have no idea.
Duke King: They're far away from here, that's what matters.
{Blackwell enters the next room and grabs a trash can of her own, slamming it against Roxy’s back, and then waiting patiently for Cotton to stand before simply just throwing it at her! It connects and Roxy goes down. Blackwell starts looking for other weapons to use, and Cotton scrambles around, grabbing a water bottle and when Blackwell comes near, she gets the contents in her face, stunning her for a moment. Cotton then wheels a beer cart and runs it into Blackwell to knock her down. Cotton comments how disgusting the beer is before dragging Blackwell up and leading her towards the janitorial area. She tosses Blackwell into the wall, but Blackwell bounces back with a shot to the mid-section. She grabs a mop, and jams the end into Roxy’s ribs, and just snaps it over her back! She grabs another mop, and repeats the action, then a third before Roxy goes down and Blackwell makes the cover! 1…….2….. Cotton kicks out.}
Troy Franklin: We almost have a new champion.
Duke King: Look at Blackwell, she was mopping the floor with Cotton just now!
Skye Sparks: Shut your face, Duke.
{Blackwell begins dragging Cotton around and they exit to the outside of the building. Blackwell throws her into the side of the LAW ring truck outside the arena. Blackwell repeats the action and Cotton bounces wildly off the truck, screaming and yelling. Blackwell starts leading Cotton down the road, but Roxy fights back and rams Blackwell into the cement blocks acting as a fence. Cotton then throws Blackwell into a nearby “no parking” sign and pole. Blackwell goes down and Cotton makes the cover. 1……2…. Blackwell kicks out.}
Troy Franklin: That could not have felt good.
Skye Sparks: Nothing out there feels "good" Troy.
Duke King: Well, Roxy does this one thing...
Skye Sparks: No!
{Roxy gets up actually believing that this was good enough, and walks away as if she’s done with the match. She heads back towards the building, but Blackwell is able to get up and cut her off, before dragging her back towards the inside of the building. They re-enter and are up near the concession stands, where Blackwell slams Cotton’s face into the pretzel stand. Blackwell takes a second to eat some popcorn before turning back to Cotton who slaps the popcorn box into Blackwell’s face. Blackwell stumbles away and the two head back through the fans back towards the ring.}
Troy Franklin: And now they're headed back to the arena. They've been backstage and outside, this brawl is just going everywhere.
Duke King: Fitting it ends in the ring.
Skye Sparks: Ironic even.
{Cotton tosses Blackwell over the guardrail and sees Maxine standing at ringside. She berates Maxine for not doing anything to help her and orders her to grab a table from under the ring. Maxine does so and slides it into the ring. Cotton tosses Blackwell into the ring and grabs the same steel chair from earlier and tosses that in the ring. Roxy then slides in after her, and props the table up in the corner. She tries to move back in on Blackwell, but Blackwell has grabbed the chair and jams it into Roxy’s ribs one more time. Blackwell then eyes the table and prepares to toss Roxy into it, but Maxine reaches from the outside and knocks the table out of the corner. Blackwell is annoyed at this, but doesn’t have time to react as Roxy grabs her and hits the Muff Driver onto the same steel chair Blackwell dropped! Cotton makes the cover hooking the leg. 1…….2……..3!}
Troy Franklin: And thanks to Maxine, Roxy Cotton manages to retain!
Duke King: Thanks to quick thinking!
Skye Sparks: How about both? Blackwell and Cotton knackered each other and Cotton is lucky to survive.
{Maxine slides into the ring and practically collects Cotton from it. Roxy is out of it and in a great deal of pain as Maxine collects the Chaos championship and throws Roxy over her shoulder, carrying her away as Blackwell recovers in the ring.}
Beth Harris: The following contest, is for the LAW Breakout championship!
{"Cure for the Itch" starts up as Etsuko comes out looking around the crowd as Nikki steps out close behind her. With the two standing side by side, they clasp their hands together and eye up at the rafters saying something to themselves almost in unison before bowing their heads. After their prayer has finished, Etsuko and Nikki make their way down to the ring with the former's eyes dead set on the squared circle ahead of them while Nikki tends to switch between her and the crowd. Once at the ring, Etsuko hops up onto the apron while Nikki finds a spot outside watching as her charge steps in through the ropes where she afterward starts stepping around the ring awaiting for the match to start tugging a little at her collar. Outside of the ring, Nikki pulls out the shock collars remote and waits patiently as well.}
Troy Franklin: Etsuko lost the Breakout championship in a 5 woman Ladder match, but she has stepped forward for her rematch clause.
Duke King: It's the first test for Kenzi, but the real champion of champions is going to prove herself one again tonight, even if she's leaving!
Skye Sparks: That remains to be seen. Etsuko looks extremely focused tonight.
“Gimme Your Applause” by Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, & Christina Aguilera begins to play as lightbulbs flash all through the arena. Kenzi Grey walks out with a look of confidence on her face. An explosion of pyro erupts as she strikes a pose for the cameras. Kenzi slaps the outstretched hands of her adoring fans as she heads down to the ring. Kenzi climbs onto the ring apron and pauses again for the flash of the cameras, as she kneels there with a smirk. She climbs the turnpost and gives the fans one more photo opportunity as she sits atop the turnbuckle, still blowing kisses and smirking at the fans. She hops down, finally entering the ring as she readies herself.}
Duke King: There she is! I'm standing!
Skye Sparks: Seriously?
Troy Franklin: Let him have his moment.
{The bell sounds and Kenzi eyes Etsuko and the two tie up. Kenzi quickly goes behind Etsuko and applies a full nelson. Kenzi switches to a hammerlock and then a headlock and then wrings the arm of Etsuko. Etsuko counters, tumbling on the mat and reverses the arm wringer. Kenzi rolls on the mat to break the pressure, AND slaps Etsuko’s hands to free her wrist. Etsuko fires a roundhouse kick at Kenzi, but she ducks. Etsuko quickly sweeps the leg of Kenzi, sending her down. Etsuko makes the cover but Kenzi is up and out of there before a count can even be made. Kenzi sweeps Etsuko, but Etsuko quickly throws her off too. They both stand, eyeing each other closely and circling.}
Troy Franklin: Both women are being extremely cautious early on.
Duke King: Each one waiting for the other to make the first mistake. Kenzi's got this though.
Skye Sparks: She has what?
Duke King: This! Just watch!
{Kenzi appears to feel she’s being shown up, and shoves Etsuko. Etsuko shoves her back. Kenzi swings for a clothesline, but Etsuko ducks and kicks Kenzi in the chest with a back kick. Etsuko then pulls Kenzi’s head between her legs, looking like she’s going for a powerbomb, but Kenzi quickly backdrops her way out of it. Etsuko sits up, but Kenzi hits a low dropkick to the back of Etsuko’s head. Kenzi quickly covers. 1……2… Etsuko kicks out.}
Troy Franklin: And Kenzi is now in control after that dropkick, and Etsuko is feeling that one.
Duke King: What did I tell you?
Troy Franklin: The match isn't over yet.
Duke King: She's about to get this work!
Skye Sparks: Is he just... saying things at this point?
{Kenzi grabs a hold of Etsuko and pulls her to her feet, but Etsuko breaks out and kicks Kenzi square in the thigh, which forces Kenzi to a knee, and then Etsuko hits a sharp elbow to the side of Kenzi’s head. Etsuko follows this with a standing moonsault, staying on top for the cover! 1……2.. Kenzi kicks out. Etsuko holds her head as she gets back to her feet. She kicks Kenzi in the shoulder on the way up, and then rams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. Etsuko spins Kenzi around in the corner and hits a pair of chops. She tries for an Irish whip across to the other corner, but Kenzi reverses. Etsuko hits the corner and Kenzi charges, but Etsuko backdrops her over the ropes. Kenzi lands on the apron and then hangs up Etsuko on the top rope when she turns around. Etsuko stumbles back and staggers as Kenzi slides in and hits a nice clothesline. She covers. 1……2…. Etsuko kicks out.}
Troy Franklin: Kenzi has been able to match Etsuko thus far.
Duke King: It's her evolution. She has become so well rounded, pretty much the best.
Skye Sparks: Oh my god...
{Kenzi stands and begins wrenching the leg of Etsuko, turning her ankle to slow down the kicks. After a few moments, and Etsuko not submitting, Kenzi releases the hold and pulls Etsuko up. She tries to whip her into the ropes, but Etsuko holds on. Kenzi charges but meets an elbow, sending her staggering back. Etsuko charges for a cross body, but Kenzi ducks out of the way and Etsuko splats on the mat. Kenzi quickly goes to the middle rope and boosts herself up, flying off and driving an elbow into Etsuko’s chest. She covers. 1…..2…. Etsuko kicks out again.}
Troy Franklin: Again Kenzi has been able to keep control for most of this match.
Skye Sparks: She is doing rather well.
{Kenzi stands and pulls Etsuko up, and positions her for a body slam. After doing so, she begins to climb to the top rope, but Etsuko is able to recover and crotch Kenzi on the top rope! Etsuko pulls Kenzi down into the tree of woe and backs up, measuring her strike. Etsuko charges, but Kenzi sits up and Etsuko misses. Kenzi gets down as Etsuko slides back into the ring, but Kenzi stops her with a kick and DDT! Kenzi then pulls Etsuko up and picks her up and ties her to the tree of woe, backs up and hits a dropkick of her own! Kenzi slowly gets to her feet and pulls Etusko up and tries for a suplex, but Etusko blocks. Etsuko tries, Kenzi blocks. Kenzi lifts Etsuko, but she kicks her feet and comes back down. She lifts Kenzi, but Kenzi kicks her feet and lands on the apron over the top rope. Kenzi strikes with a hard forearm that stuns Etsuko, but Etsuko fires a lightning fast kick and drops Kenzi off the apron to the floor!}
Duke King: Uh oh...
Troy Franklin: That could be a big turning point right there. Kenzi hits hard off the apron to the floor.
Duke King: She's got this...
{Etsuko steps out onto the apron and jumps off, connecting with an axe handle off the apron onto Kenzi’s back. Kenzi leans against the guardrail and Etsuko quickly kicks her in the back of the leg, before raking her fingernails down Kenzi’s back! Etsuko then tries to whip Kenzi into the barricade, but Kenzi reverses and Etsuko smashes into the barricade. Kenzi then rolls into the ring to break the count, and rolls back outside and tosses Etsuko into the steel steps, before taking a fan’s beverage at ringside, and taking a swig, before spitting the contents into Etsuko’s face! Etsuko stumbles around blindly before Kenzi tosses her back into the ring.}
Troy Franklin: Kenzi getting a little refreshment, I don't think Etsuko feels refreshed though.
Skye Sparks: Bloody disgusting it was.
Duke King: You've done plenty bad Sparks!
Skye Sparks: I've never spit a drink in someone's face. I've thrown a few however.
{Kenzi slides in and pushes the stumbing Etsuko into the corner, where she takes some free shots. She fires Etsuko across the ring to the opposite corner and charges, but eats a boot for her troubles, followed by a spinning heel kick! Kenzi goes down and Etsuko rolls her onto her stomach before jumping up and driving a knee into the back and spine of Kenzi She then rolls Kenzi back over and prepares for the Etsuko bunny hop, but Kenzi rolls out of the way! Etsuko falls down but gets up, and walks right into a Breakout Performance out of nowhere! Kenzi makes the cover! 1…….2….. Etsuko escapes!}
Troy Franklin: And Kenzi damn near pulls it out right there!
Duke King: She's mastered playing possum too!
Skye Sparks: You've gone full fanboy at this rate.
Duke King: Don't be a hater.
{Kenzi gets back to her feet and Etsuko stumbles up. Kenzi kicks her in the mid-section and hooks her head, but Etsuko quickly charges with her, ramming Kenzi’s back into the corner. Etsuko backs up and charges, but eats a boot from Kenzi. Kenzi quickly boosts herself on the middle rope, and flies off, connecting with a missile dropkick! Kenzi is now calling for the end and hits the ropes, looking for the Walk of Fame, but Etsuko rolls out of the way. Kenzi lands and catches an attempted Etsuko boot, and spins her around and clotheslines her. Kenzi then begins to climb to the top rope, but Etsuko is able to crotch her again! Etsuko then puts Kenzi into position and connects with the Mitzusaka driver! Etsuko then quickly jumps up and connects with the Etsuko Bunny Hop, and covers! 1…….2……3!}
Troy Franklin: And Etsuko has pulled it out! She is now a two time Breakout Champion!
Duke King: No!
Skye Sparks: Let it go Duke...
Duke King: I'm gonna need a minute.
{Etsuko is handed the championship, but looks to further attack Kenzi, but Nikki quickly uses the shock collar to subdue her. Nikki collects the championship and makes Etsuko leave the ring and follow her. Etsuko heads up the ramp as ordered as Kenzi recovers in the ring. Kenzi is able to get up, and the fans, who once despised Kenzi, give her a “Thank you Kenzi” chant before she leaves the ring, a little choked up over the appreciative fans.}
Troy Franklin: Her story may have ended here but, Kenzi Grey's future still looks bright.
Duke King: You're the best! I'll miss you.
Skye Sparks: I think I'm going to be sick.
Beth Harris: …The following match is for the LAW Marquee Championship!..
{"Go to sleep" by eminem hits as Alicia steps out with a black hoodie over her upper half with the hood up over her long blond hair. She makes her way down to the ring and runs up the steps before climbing the ropes on the outside, she flips the hood back before putting her arms out , she smiles at the crowd before leaping into the ring from the outside and taking off the hoodie}
Beth Harris: From Washington D.C by way of Atlanta Georgia, she stands 5’8 and weighed in at 150 pounds, she is the Strong Style Southern Belle...ALLLIIICCIIIAAA LUKAS
Troy Franklin: Alicia has been damn impressive since signing with LAW at the end of last year….
Duke King: Three matches three wins. Even beating Kenzi Grey
Skye Sparks: Yeah we get it she’s talented but Crystal Hilton is one of the most talented and decorated women we have in LAW

She then runs up the steps where she walks towards the middle of the apron. She blows kisses out to the crowd before she drops into a split entering the ring. The crowd begins to go nuts and she waits patiently for the match to begin.}
Beth Harris: Now in the ring from Los Angeles California she stands 5’5 and weighed in at 115 pounds, she is the LAW Marquee Champion...THE SILVER SCREEN QUEEN…..CRYSTALLLL HILTON
Troy Franklin: There she is the Silver Screen Queen herself….
Duke King: She’s been in LAW for so long and done so much, she has proven herself over and over and showed everyone she still had it by capturing that Marquee title
Skye Sparks: But can she beat Alicia Lukas who has been one of the best in the world over the last two years?
{The bell rings and Alicia attacks Crystal right away ducking down for a double leg takedown, she picks Crystal up and slams her down before grabbing Crystals arm and going for an armbar, Crystal is able to yank her arm out and get to her feet, Alicia goes for a clothesline but Crystal ducks and hits the ropes before leaping up with a tilt a whirl headscissors snapping Alicia around and across the ring. Alicia holds onto the ropes and pulls herself up, Crystal eagerly runs in and Alicia ducks sending Crystal up and over the top rope to the floor. Alicia then hits the ropes herself for momentum before leaping right through the top and middle for a suicide dive onto Crystal outside the ring early. }
Troy Franklin: Damn what a fast start to this match!
Duke King: Alicia didn’t waste anytime going after Crystal but Hilton showed how fast and elusive she can be, but Alicia is the bigger stronger woman
Skye Sparks: Hilton has that great americanised lucha style whereas Alicia has that japanese strong style with some amazing grappling
{Alicia grabs Crystal and slides her into the ring before following, Crystal pops to her feet and hits the ropes fast but Alicia runs forward and leaps up hitting Crystal with a high running knee sending her to the mat, Alicia stays on the attack as Crystal tries to get up, she hooks Crystals head and then hits a snap suplex. Alicia floats over

Crystal kicks out. Alicia quickly turns and holds Crystal in a side headlock, Crystal pushes herself up to one knee and elbows Alicia in the ribs over and over before backing them both into the ropes and shoving her across the ring, as Alicia comes back Crystal leaps in the air hitting a dropkick to send Alicia down.}
Troy Franklin: Hilton with an impressive vertical leap connecting with that dropkick
Duke King: This match is going back and forth which is what we thought would happen guys
Skye Sparks: Can Hilton get past the sheer power of Alicia Lukas though?
{Crystal keeps on Alicia by stomping her down, as Alicia rolls to her stomach and gets to all fours Crystal jumps and stomps on Alicias hand. Alicia holds her right hand in pain and Crystal smiles before throwing her arms out to the side and then blowing a kiss at Alicia, Alicia throws a left hand at Crystal but Crystal moves and grabs Alicia by the hair hitting a knee to the face, Alicia goes down hard and Crystal hits the ropes before springboarding off with a moonsault. She connects and goes for the pin

Alicia kicks out. Crystal shakes her head and slams in a few hard right hands after mounting Alicia, Alicia covers up and then turns before rolling Crystal off her, she slides up to her feet and ducks a clothesline from Crystal before hitting a roaring elbow.}
Troy Franklin: Did you hear that connect?...that was skin and bone hitting skin and bone ladies and gentlemen
Duke King: Crystal looks dazed after she spent the last minute or two on the offensive
Skye Sparks: An elbow to the face will do that
{As crystal holds her jaw stumbling back Alicia then steps forward with a stuff kick to Crystals chest sending her back into the ropes, while she’s there Alicia buries a few more kicks into her chest and midsection, Crystal slides down to a sitting position and Alicia goes for a kick to Crystals face but Crystal tilts her head sideways just in time as the kick sails over her head, Crystal slides around and pulls Alicia backwards by her tights causing Alicia to fall from the ring between the ropes and out to the floor on the back of her head, Crystal grabs the top rope and as Alicia gets to her feet she leaps up and springboards off with a shooting star press to the outside onto Alicia as the crowd goes insane }
Troy Franklin: IS HILTON INSANE?
Duke King: Did you see the height?...she landed hard on Lukas though
Skye Sparks: Crystal isn’t going to go down wondering
{Crystal pulls herself to her feet and grabs Alicias hair, she slams Alicia face first into the ring apron and spins Alicia around before tackling her into the apron and then into the barricade before finishing off against the ring post. Crystal sits Alicia on the apron and slides into the ring, as Alicia stands up on the apron Crystal gets a head of steam going to kick Alicia off the apron but Alicia curls her leg around the middle rope popping her body through and connecting with a hard spear almost breaking Crystal in half, Alicia covers

Crystal kicks out!. Alicia can’t believe it as she sits next to Crystal on the mat shaking her head. Hilton rolls to her stomach and starts to pull herself up, Alicia violently grabs Crystal by the hair and picks her up onto her shoulders going for the georgia drop, Crystal kicks her legs and slides off Alicias shoulders and as Alicia turns around Crystal steps up with an enzuguri connecting with Alicia’s face sending her down}
Duke King: WOW...I think Alicia wanted to try and end it right there
Skye Sparks: If she had connected with the georgia drop she may have…
Troy Franklin: But Crystal keeps it all alive and is desperately trying to keep her championship.
{Alicia and Crystal both stir and get to their feet Alicia gits Crystal with a forearm who fires back in kind, they both grab one another and bury in hard shots over and over, they speed up and the crowd cheers before Alicia gets the upperhand, she steps back and goes for a lariat but Crystal ducks it and as Alicia turns around Crystal connects with the flashing lights! (Chick Kick) Alicia goes down and Crystal sets her up for the withering rose(liontamer) as she turns Alicia around though Alicia keeps spinning getting onto her back again, she pulls Crystal down and rolls her up in a cradle

Crystal kicks out just in time, both ladies get back to their feet, Alicia ducks down and hooks herself around Crystal before hitting the T-Bone exploder suplex Alicia hooks the leg and goes for another pin.

Crystal again kicks out. Alicia slams her fist on the mat and shakes her head not sure what else she has to do to keep Crystal down.}
Skye Sparks: This has been a competitive match and both women look spent…
Troy Franklin: I have no idea where Crystal got the energy from to kick out of that
Duke King: Pure instinct, Crystal has done this long enough to have that muscle memory
{Alicia slowly gets to her feet and pulls Crystal up to her feet and shoves her back into the corner. Alicia comes in and takes some free shots and hits some hard forearms. Alicia then backs up and measures up a back elbow that connects. Alicia then climbs up the ropes, and starts raining down punches on a nearly defenseless Crystal in the corner. But Crystal then springs to life, hooking Alicia's legs, and walks her out of the corner and PLANTS Alicia with a powerbomb! Crystal then grabs the legs of Alicia and turns her over into the Withering Rose!}
Troy Franklin: Withering Rose! Withering Rose!
Duke King: Crystal out of nowhere!
{Alicia screams out in pain, reaching desperately out to either reverse of find the ropes. Crystal then uses Alicia's momentum to position her in the center of the ring. Alicia prevents the full move setting in, flattening to her stomach, only allowing Crystal to apply a Boston crab. Crystal sits down and Alicia desperately reaches for the ropes.}
Troy Franklin: Alicia with a nice counter, but she's still in a heap of trouble!
Duke King: She had to, if Crystal had locked that full move in, Alicia wouldn't be able to move on the mat!
{Crystal pulls and yanks for all she's worth, but indeed, Alicia is able to squirm on the mat, and reach for the ropes, inching closer and closer until she's just a fingertip away. Crystal let's up the pressure to try and move Alicia back to the center, and that is when Alicia lunges for the ropes and makes it.}
Troy Franklin: And Alicia manages to make the ropes! That will force a break.
{Crystal let's go for a quick moment, before grabbing Alicia's legs and trying to get her back to the center of the ring. Alicia holds onto the ropes for dear life, until Crystal yanks on her and she loses her grip on the ropes and splats on her back to the canvas. Crystal quickly stacks up Alicia for the pinfall!

Alicia kicks out, but Crystal quickly catches her legs when Alicia kicks up, hooking them, and re-applying the Withering Rose, this time with Alicia trapped in the perfect position!}
Troy Franklin: Crystal with a brilliant counter!
Troy Franklin: And that's locked in tight!
Troy Franklin: Alicia's gotta figure out something!
{Alicia fights and screams, and Crystal rocks back and forth, her knee planted on the mat for stability. Alicia reaches out for the ropes, but is unable to reach them. Alicia fights and screams, and eventually, has no other option but to tap out!}
Troy Franklin: She taps! Alicia taps! Crystal retains!
Duke King: Quick thinking helps Crystal retain.
Skye Sparks.: Alicia was *this close* to winning that championship though. Make no mistake, she's lived up to the hype.
{Crystal releases the hold exhausted, as Alicia clutches her back in pain. Crystal slowly rolls out of the ring with her hand raised and her music plays. She stumbles over to grab her championship, taking it, and throwing it over her shoulder as she walks up the ramp to the back.}
Beth Harris: The following contest, is a 2 out of 3 falls match, for the LAW championship!
{"Release the Panic" by RED stars up and Sam Tolson soon parts the curtain to a large ovation from the crowd, she is focused solely on the ring as she powerwalks down the aisle and gets into the ring.}
Beth Harris: Introducing first...she is from Jefferson City, Missouri….the first female graduate of Camp Nightfall...standing five feet six inches tall and weighing in this morning at one-hundred fifty-six pounds….she is….”NO GIMMICKS NEEDED” SAMANTHA TOLSON!!!
Troy Franklin: Sam Tolson took the LAW champion to the limit not once, but twice in recent weeks, and now she's vying for the championship itself.
Skye Sparks: But now she's got to beat the champion, let's not forget, she didn't win either match, she just didn't lose.
Troy Franklin: She's got a lot to prove tonight, and with that broken nose, it will be even more difficult for her.
{"Frontline" By Pillar begins over the loud speakers. and Gabby emerges from the backstage. She smiles at the crowd, and holds her arms up. She begins a light job down the aisle slapping fans five along the way. She climbs up the steps and poses for a moment before entering through the ropes. She removes her POW/MIA shirt and begins lightly stretching.}
Troy Franklin: Gabby is looking to prove that she is at the top of the heap for a reason, and tonight she's facing a tough test.
Duke King: She's meeting stiff competition right here tonight. The LAW champion is never an easy road.
{Gabby stares a hole through Sam, the same right back at the champion. Sam adjusts her facial protector, strapping it tightly as the bell sounds. Gabby takes the center of the ring, and Sam wastes no time getting right in her face. The two start trash talking each other and Sam shoves Gabby, who responds in kind. And almost instantly after that, the two are throwing hands. They trade punches, with Sam keeping her head low and chin tucked, trying to avoid direct blows to the face. Sam then charges Gabby back into the ropes and shoots her off. On the rebound, she catches Gabby with a back elbow. Gabby stumbles and Sam is right in her face with hard forearm shots, backing Gabby into the corner and kicking Gabby, and then alternating that with chops. Sam attempts to whip Gabby across the ring, but Gabby reverses. Gabby charges, but eats a back elbow, and then Sam mows her down with a clothesline. Gabby pops back up and Sam is right back to the attack with more hard forearms. Sam whips Gabby into the ropes, but Gabby hangs up. Sam charges, but Gabby catches her, and drops Sam to the mat with a stun gun!}
Troy Franklin: And Sam's strategy is clear here. Blitz Gabby and take the fight to her.
Duke King: She only knows one way, and that's straight ahead.
Skye Sparks: This is how she always is.
{Gabby is back up, having weathered the storm, and tries to life Sam for the Killzone, but Sam elbows her way off Gabby’s shoulders, and then takes Gabby to the mat with a single arm DDT! Gabby clutches her shoulder and rolls towards the ropes, but Sam is relentless, attacking Gabby and kicking her out of the ring. Sam goes right outside, and slams Gabby’s shoulder into the ring post to keep up the attack! Gabby rolls back into the ring to create some distance, but Sam will not let her breathe. Gabby catches her coming in with a kick to the mid-section, and tries to lift Sam for some kind of move, but instantly regrets it, hurting her own shoulder in the process! Sam quickly wrings Gabby’s arm to try and keep up the pressure. Gabby refuses to submit and is able to get back to her feet and knees Sam in the ribs to escape. She tries for an Irish whip, but again, her shoulder is too damaged. Gabby moves away shaking out her arm and Sam rushes behind her and hits a German suplex! Sam then boosts herself on the second rope and flies off, but Gabby gets a boot up into Sam’s jaw! Sam drops and both women are down.}
Troy Franklin: Sam isalso working that shoulder.
Duke King: Hey, Gabby can't lift you with one bad shoulder. It's a 2nd wave of strategy!
{Gabby slowly gets back to her feet, as it Sam. Gabby hits the ropes and connects with a spinning neckbreaker, sending Sam to the mat. Sam makes it to the corner and Gabby is there driving her good shoulder into Sam’s ribs. The ref forces her back to break. Sam responds with a couple of hard right hands, and tries for a exploder suplex, but Gabby blocks with an elbow and plants Sam on her head with a DDT! Gabby slowly makes it back to her feet, and mounts Sam for some hard right hands. Sam uses her arms to block the incoming blows to protect her nose. Gabby slowly rises and shakes out her arm and goes to pick up Sam, but Sam grabs her arm and yanks it violently, causing Gabby to recoil and yell in pain. Gabby backs into a corner and Sam gets up and charges, but Gabby moves out of the way and connects with another neckbreaker to put Sam down. Gabby makes the first cover of the match. 1…..2…. Sam kicks out.}
Troy Franklin: And now Gabby is in control.
Skye Sparks: But Sam keeps coming, and she's not gonna stop any bloody time soon!
Duke King: So long as she keeps working that shoulder, Sam could have a long term plan that pays off!
{Both women get back to their feet and Sam swings wildly for a clothesline, but Gabby ducks, and pushes Sam chest first into the top turnbuckle. Sam stumbles back, and Gabby grabs her and attempts a German suplex of her own, but Sam amazingly flips backwards and lands on her feet! Sam quickly rolls up Gabby from behind! 1……2…. Gabby kicks out! Gabby turns to see Sam, who tries for a kick, but Gabby counters, catching her foot. Sam nails Gabby with an enziguri for her troubles, and then hooks up Gabby and connects with the Victory Drop Alpha! Sam covers hooking both legs! 1……2…….3!}
Troy Franklin: AND WE HAVE A FALL!
Duke King: Sam is now up one!
Skye Sparks: And for all intents and purposes, she's the champion right now!
Troy Franklin: She needs one more fall to win!
GABBY – 0 SAM – 1
{Sam now has a bit of a confident look on her face as she rises, using the corner to catch her breath. Gabby slowly gets to her knees, and then back to her feet, and the bell sounds to starts the second fall. The two lock up this time, Gabby quickly goes behind Sam and waistlocks her, and the wrestles her to the mat. Gabby then grabs Sam’s head pulling it back and unleashes a vicious crossface punch to Sam’s jaw. She nails Sam two more times using her good arm to strike. Sam rolls towards the rope and Gabby is on top of her stomping her on the ground. She pulls Sam up and sends her into the ropes, stopping her on the rebound with a kick to the mid-section and the steps back delivers a stiff kick right to Sam’s head! Gabby looks a little more angry now and pulls Sam up, then tries to whip Sam into the corner, but Sam reverses. Gabby goes chest-first into the corner and stumbles back, allowing Sam to hit a back suplex! Sam gets on top again! 1……2.. Gabby kicks out. Sam quickly rises and drops a tight leg drop across Gabby’s chest. Another cover. 1……2…. Gabby kicks out again}
Troy Franklin: And Tolson keeps the pressure on.
Skye Sparks: She has to, not many people have beaten Gabby twice.
{Gabby slowly rolls to the corner and Sam gets back to her feet. As soon as Gabby has made it to standing position in the corner, Sam charges and hits a clothesline that drops Gabby in the corner. Gabby rolls to the floor to collect herself, but there is no rest as Sam hits a baseball slide that sends Gabby into the barrier. Sam then readies herself, and tries for a suicide dive, but Gabby counters and re-directs Sam into the barricade herself!}
Troy Franklin: And just cracked hard against that steel barricade!
Skye Sparks: It was a big risk, and it didn't pay off!
Duke King: She's trying to be unpredicable, but that was not a smart move!
{Gabby is the first to her feet as she pulls Sam up, and drops Sam face-first across the barricade as well! Sam clutches at her face and Gabby just grabs a handful of Sam’s hair and begins delivering more vicious crossface blows to Sam’s jaw, before rolling her into the ring. Gabby slides in after Sam and boosts herself onto the top turnbuckle, but she doesn’t have time to do anything as Sam gets and nails her with a hard right hand. Sam climbs up and snaps off a beautiful hurricanrana! Sam slowly makes the cover! 1……2…..Gabby rolls the shoulder!}
Troy Franklin: And we almost had a new champion!
Duke King: Gabby's still in this though.
{Sam is back on her feet first and hooks Gabby in position for a vertical suplex. Gabby uses her foot to block, and counters with one of her own. Sam slowly gets up and Gabby quickly comes up behind her and grabs a waitlock, launching Sam with a German suplex across the ring! Gabby gets back up and Sam is using the ropes the try and stand. Gabby again grabs Sam in a waistlock and hits a second German suplex! Gabby gets up again and Sam is much slower, but still getting up. Gabby grabs her again, but Sam fires wild elbows to escape. Sam unloads with some hard forearms and charges for a big one, but Gabby ducks and turns Sam around, and plants her with the Battle Scar! Sam lands right on her face from the impact! Gabby rolls her over and covers! 1…….2……3!}
Troy Franklin: And Gabby had tied this thing up!
Duke King: And Sam is in a bad way right now. Her nose may have been re-broken!
GABBY – 1 SAM – 1
{Gabby slowly stumbles to her feet, making it to a neutral corner and looking pretty tired. Sam is now being helped by the referee as she removes the protective face shield to check on her nose. She slams the mask down as the ref motions that he would stop the match but Sam shoves him away and uses the ropes to get back up to a standing position. She warily stands and motions for the bell to be rung.}
Skye Sparks: I can't decide whether it's bravery or bloody stupidity right now.
Troy Franklin: You know Sam will not quit!
{Sam marches forward and Gabby obliges and then Gabby quickly grabs a waistlock and lifts Sam off her feet, driving her back into the corner. Gabby continues to drive her shoulder into Sam’s ribs and then pulls her to the center of the ring, lifting her up and holding her there for several seconds before delivering a vertical suplex! Gabby covers quickly! 1…….2…… Sam kicks out. Sam slowly tries to crawl to the ropes, leaving Gabby some free shots, which she buries in the side and kidneys of Sam. Gabby pulls Sam up and props her into the corner and measures up some more hard blows to the ribs and kidneys. Gabby is once again backed up by the referee who asks Sam if she wants to continue, and Sam answers by firing back on Gabby with punches and a chop. She backs Gabby into the ropes and tries for an Irish whip, buy Gabby reverses and catches Sam with a scoop powerslam! Gabby makes another cover. 1……2…… Sam barely kicks out.}
Troy Franklin: And now, Gabby is just assuming complete control.
Duke King: That big dive that missed really took a lot out of Sam. It may only be a matter of time.
{Gabby is back up and Sam is crawling to get to the ropes to get back up. Sam makes it to the ropes and to a knee. Gabby goes to grab her, but Sam grabs her arm and yanks on it again and then pulls Gabby into the ropes, sending her to the floor! Sam as quickly as she can go, rolls out to continue to attack. She pulls Gabby up and slams her head into the apron. Gabby fights back with a right hand, stunning Sam. Gabby swings for a clothesline but Sam ducks, and hits an exploder suplex on the floor! Sam slowly gets back up, as the referee implores both women to get back in the ring. Sam does so, but only to break the count. She then climbs on the apron, looking like she’s going to go for an asai moonsault, but Gabby gets up and catches her foot, and Sam FACEPLANTS on the apron and then to the floor! She rolls around yelling and clutching her face as well.}
Troy Franklin: OH NO!
Skye Sparks: That may do it right there! Tolson's face is going to look like a bloody jigsaw puzzle.
Duke King: If her nose wasn't re-broken before, it is now. Look at all this blood.
{Gabby slowly gets back up and there is now a trail of blood where Sam is moving away. Gabby walks over and grabs Sam and the bloody strands of hair and tosses her back into the ring. Sam rolls to the nearest corner to try and create distance and get back to her feet. Gabby comes in and Sam fires off a kick, but Gabby shrugs it off and drives a knee into the ribs of Sam, and Sam sinks to the mat on her hands and knees. Sam is heard struggling to breathe and her face is a bloody mess. Gabby is basically stalking her at this point, but Sam uses the ropes to get up and Sam fires off right hands and stuns Gabby, sending her staggering back. Sam whips Gabby into the corner, and charges straight into her with a clothesline. Sam repeats the action and Gabby is staggering and Sam hits a belly to belly suplex! Sam covers! 1……..2……Gabby rolls the shoulder again!}
Troy Franklin: And the champion survives!
Skye Sparks: Sam is not going to stop until she's dead at this rate.
Duke King: And if she keeps losing as much blood as she is right now, it may happen. Look at her!
{Sam has a rush of adrenaline and mounts Gabby hitting some right hands until Gabby tosses her off. Gabby makes it back up, only to be clotheslined over the top rope to the floor! Sam is on hands and knees, trying to get up, and sets her sights on the floor. Wiping the blood from her face, she looks down and readies herself. She hits the ropes, and dives over the top rope with the Ode to Mexico, except that Gabby moves and Tolson SPLATS on the mat on the outside!}
Troy Franklin: OH MAN!
Skye Sparks: She may be bloody dead now.
Duke King: That's... that's gotta be it.
{Gabby slowly rolls back into the ring and Sam is motionless on the floor. The Official then begins to count. 1……….2…… Sam slowly starts to move 3……She manages to roll to her stomach. 4……….5…….She begins crawling towards the ring…… 6……. 7……. 8….. Sam grips the apron skirt, and pulls herself to a knee. 9…… Sam lunges and just makes it into the ring beating the count!}
Troy Franklin: SAM BEAT THE COUNT!
Skye Sparks: My hats off... but since I don't wear one, she's a bloody fool for doing this.
{Gabby is now back up and Sam is crawling towards the ropes, trying to get up. Sam does make it to her feet and Gabby is almost in disbelief that Sam is still fighting. Sam can barely stand and stumbles towards Gabby and swings wildly for a clothesline, but Gabby ducks and lifts Sam on her shoulders, and connects with the Killzone! Gabby stares at Sam’s practically lifeless body and rolls her own and covers. 1……..2…….3!}
Troy Franklin: And Gabby Camacho retains!
Duke King: But that wasn't easy. Sam Tolson gave everything she had.
Skye Sparks: And then some. Shortened her bloody career she did.
{Gabby rolls off of Sam and continues to stare at her on the canvas before rising and accepting the LAW championship being handed back to her as her music plays. She finally holds it up and raises her own arm before throwing the championship over her shoulder and continuing to look at Sam, who is now stirring and rolls onto her stomach. Gabby shakes her head in disbelief and exits the ring.}
Troy Franklin: Even Gabby can't believe Sam's toughness.
Duke King: She may not have won, but she proved a lot about herself tonight.
{Gabby heads up the ramp as Sam is a bloody mess, but weakly gripping onto the ropes and trying to pull herself to her feet. She manages to do so, and Sam receives a standing ovation for her efforts.}
Troy Franklin: And these fans giving Sam Tolson a standing ovation.
Duke King: She certainly earned it tonight.
{Sam can barely stand as referees and other medical staff hit the ring to assist her as the show fades.}
