Welcome to...
Hiya guys and gals!
This is Carmen Diaz, LAW's lead interviewer, and once again I bring you "Carmen's Corner". It’s been a productive and hectic week so it’s time to get to the news.
News and Rumors:
- During the last two weeks, we've had 5 new wrestlers added to the roster, and there may be more on the way! There's going to be some tough choices upcoming for Lucas Dupree and The LAW brass for the Queen of the Ring iPPV coming soon.
- There have been some familiar faces reportedly seen coming back around the LAW HQ, Perhaps this could mean some returns could be in the future?
- Due to scheduling conflicts LAW is sad to report the releases of Priscilla Price and Ash Scion, We wish both girls the best of luck in the future, and our doors remain open should they be available to return.
- It is also unfortunate that Cindy Warren's injury sustained at the hands of Sidney Grey, will force Cindy be out of action indefinitely. We hope Cindy has a speedy recovery and can get back in the ring soon.
- And of course, we at LAW offer our congratulations to Roxi Johnson and Keira Fisher on their marriage on Thursday! Good luck to the both of them, wishing a long and happy one!
LAW #10 Review:
The 8 women looking to fill Violet's shoes all took their best shot this week, with the 4 matches leading to a Four-way elimination match for the Marquee title on LAW #11. But 8 became 4, even though no one was willing to give an inch.
- Priscilla Price tried everything in the book to defeat Skye Sparks, from bending to out and out breaking the rules in an attempt to gain victory, but she cheated one time too many as using Skye's tights for leverage cost her as Skye was able to reverse the roll up for the pinfall. Still, it was great showing for both women.
- Keira Fisher (Now Fisher-Johnson) took on Summer St. Clair in the second match, and the match was back and forth, with both women trying everything they could think of to get the pinfall. But Bambi, Summer's manager played the biggest role and a loaded purse helped Summer advance to the four-way match.
- Gabby Camacho and Crystal Hilton took on reversed roles this week, after Gabby defeated Aphrodite, and Crystal was upset by Keira Fisher. These two went into this match with a lot on the line, and in the end, the announcers hit it on the head that Gabby made one mistake, and that's all it takes as Crystal was able to pull out the win in a great match.
- And it was a sad, sad thing when Sidney Grey was supposed to take on Ash Scion, but Ash was attacked prior to the match. Sidney got the forfeit win, but there's a lot of speculation that Sidney or her group were responsible for the attack, although Sidney denied any wrong-doing. It's a shame that match was spoiled, because it could have been great.
- And clearly, the intensity picked up between The Doc and Kate Steele, who are both extremely confident going into Queen of the Ring that they will walk out the LAW champion. There is respect there, but these two are both eager to prove themselves and the tension in the ring was super thick.
LAW #11 Preview:
LAW is coming home, and we're going to crown a new champion in St. Louis, but that's not the only great action on the docket.
Gabby Camacho vs. Zelda Knite
Gabby's competition level continues to increase as she moves on from Crystal Hilton to the legendary Zelda Knite. Is Gabby ready for this? She proved last week that she can hang with the likes of Crystal Hilton, but Zelda will be the ultimate test for her.
The Doc vs. Nyako
The Doc's singles run has been nothing short of amazing. She has defeated everyone placed in front of her, but now she faces an unfamiliar foe in Nyako who debuted last week, and obvious threat to Crystal Hilton. Can this newcomer play spoiler to The Doc's amazing run?
Kate Steele vs. Miyoko Reeves
The LAW champion has also been very impressive since winning the title, but she too will be facing off with an opponent new to LAW. Miyoko is the daughter of legendary brawler Markus Reeves, so Kate will be in for a tough afternoon, but as the champion, Kate has overcome every challenge so far, can she do it before she faces her biggest one?
Marquee Championship Four-Way Elimination Match
Sidney Grey vs. Crystal Hitlon vs. Summer St. Clair vs. Skye Sparks
The 8 became 4, and these 4 lasted to the end. It all comes down to this to crown a new champion. In this elimination style match, it's every woman for herself, and there are no friends. No one is going to break up a pinfall or submission, no one is sneaking a pin to steal the championship. The woman who wins it, will have to earn it.
Closing:
Once again, thanks to everyone who made L.A.W #10 possible, and who keep us alive and growing.
Thanks goes out to our friends and affiliates: The WWO alliance, Sin City Wrestling, Boardwalk Wrestling, 4 Corners Wrestling, Uncensored Inc., Girl Power Wrestling, and Inferno Wrestling
And from Lucas and Nicole Dupree thank you's go out to all the female wrestling talent that have spread the word about L.A.W on social media, and those who follow us.
For the crew running L.A.W., I'm Carmen Diaz, and I'll see you here next time on Carmens Corner.
