You know how they say when one door closes another one opens and it is usually associated with something good? Well in this case it couldn't be any further from the truth. You I hadn't wanted anything to do with the world of professional wrestling, but because of a promise I made, I was brought in to be a trainer only. But as luck would have it, I was saddled with the worst person ever. It actually almost miss the young, rich, and dumb media whores I was a personal trainer to, well almost.
Of course with it being my lucky week. On the night my trainee, Sidney Grey was scheduled to have her match, which didn't happen because of someone taking out her opponent in back, but the my estranged; emphasis on 'strange' to say the least, sister, Kymiku Sinsuzuki, or like she rather be called 'Oni', which fits her to a tee if you know the meaaning behind it, makes her grand entrance right when I'm about to get into it with Crystal Hilton, who accused me of taking out Grey's opponent. To be honest I was looking forward to Grey getting her ass stomped, if only to shut her mouth for a minute. But nope here comes 'Oni' from the back. Now like everyone else, I'm thinking she's the one who did the dirty work for Grey since it was also revealed she was the one who called 'Oni'.
I'm not sure how well it is known outside of CTN Enterprises, but our history is adversarial at best, murderous at most. So of course I come to the conclusion she's here to fuck me over or take me out. So I called Grey out for being not only selfish and self-serving, but conniving; and Kymiku for what ever plan she was hatching. Color me surprised though that she said she meant me no ill will but came to 'help'.
Now I didn't believe it and partially still don't, but for the first time since we were children, I saw her at least trying to be sincere. It just wasn't normal and still has me on guard. Like I said, I only trust her to put the dagger in my back, but something there was something genuine in her words. Don’t get me wrong, she has perfected crocodile tears as an art form, but this time I’m not sure. So you know what I did, I chose her over the job I had, and even offered her to stay with me for the time being.
Then the shit hit the fan. Yeah like I said in a fit of rage I sort of quit my job being a trainer, but I figured Song knew it was me blowing of steam, I mean again dealing with her client, anyone would say the same in that moment of frustration. Just when I was about to tell Song I was sorry and didn’t mean to walk out on her, I get this letter stating I was fired for conduct unbecoming. You got to be kidding me, if you know CTN Enterprises, even murder doesn’t get you fired, so me blowing off steam which I was driven to by Grey is like nothing in the grand scheme of things. Of course this news came on the heels of me finding out I was now a contracted wrestler in LAW.
The issue about that though is I didn’t even sign a contract to join. I came in as a trainer for Grey only yet somehow end up on the roster. Of course my mind immediately jumps to Kymiku. It only makes sense, she suckers me in to think she might have turned over a new leaf and actually trying to be a family again, only to get me involved in something I have no desire to do. I left the wrestling world for a reason; I got fed up with all the wannabes, neverwas, and glory hounds always in the spotlight and the politics that go with it. But here I am smack dab right in the middle of it once again whether I like it or not.
When I find out who screwed me over though, I’m sure as hell going to take it out on them and if it happens to be my dear sweet sister, well she’ll learn she’s not the only one with the demon inside.

CTN Towers, New York
“So it’s official, I’m a contracted star of Ladies All-Star Wrestling” Nyako said as she flopped down in chair across from her agent/advisor Syn.
“I told you I could have gotten the CTN legal team on it and gotten you out of the contract.” Syn remarked as she leaned back in her executive chair in her office in the CTN Towers.
Nyako reguarded the woman sitting at the mahogany antique desk. "Right now, your the only one here I want to deal with after Song fired me."
"I still contend your friend wasn't the one to deliver the ax to you. From what I have gleamed about her time as an employee here she is to meek for a move like that." Syn said trying to ease Nyako's conscience. But quickly undid the work. "Of course I was surprised to see she was the one to take charge in taking over the managerial role of Mrs. Grey. So who knows."
"Thanks for sugar-coating it for me. I can always count on you to see the positive side of things." Nyako sarcastically.
Syn's ruby red lips turned up at the corners, owing her trademark smirk. "I just want you to be aware of the situation as a whole. You of all people know working for CTN has a way of...changing people."
Nyako shrugged, trying to brush off what Syn was telling her; no matter how true it was. Nyako couldn't believe the young woman who had grown up with her and looked at Ny as an older sister could turn on her so quickly. The proof though was the termination notice she recieved just days after she blew up at Sidney Grey.
"I don't care. I still think Song wasn't behind it or she was forced to do it." Nyako sighed,"I'll talk to her later about it. Right now I got more pressing matters like what the hell am I going to do about Kymiku?” Nyako slumped down in the seat.
Leaning forward in her own chair, Syn rested her chin on her hands as her arms rested on the desk. “Yes this is an issue. You have no idea why she decided to come back into your life?”
“Other than to freak me out and possibly end it? Not in the slightest.” Nyako suggested half joking but honestly was serious about what she had said. “Song has been more of a sister to me than Kymiku. Hell I practically helped raise song until I had to get away before I ruined her. Part of me thinks that is what happened to me and Kymiku when we were children back in Seoul.” She started to think back to her early childhood, a part of her life like many, that she usually didn’t dwell on or even want to dredge up but found she was doing it more since ‘Oni’ resurfaced.
“You know you can unload on me if you want.” Syn suggested, prompting Nyako to continue on since it wasn’t often she found the stoic Asian beauty willing to open up to her or anyone for that matter.
For as many years she had known Nyako, she only got the barest of details about her and her past. It wasn’t until 3WL she learned she had a sister, and now in LAW had ties to the new manager of Sidney Grey. Syn wasn’t the type to like being in the dark but learned a long time ago it was better to lt those around you reveal themselves when they wanted to instead of forcing the issue and alienating them. Of course she wasn’t above alienating folks, just certain people like Nyako, Eva Rodriguez and a few others didn’t take too kindly to it.
Nyako shook off her dazed look and sat up in the chair realizing she was letting Syn in on more of herself than she really ever intended too. It wasn’t that she didn’t trust Syn, well she didn’t but Syn never did her dirty and could tell she probably never would really. She knew the rep of her agent; she had used to be hell on wheels. Anything to get over on others by any means necessary. Of the past few years she had gotten not softer but less ambitious and cut throat. She still wanted the edge on people but she seemed to care more how it affected them in the long term than how well it would make her look in the short term. Still she was not willing to give any ammo on her. She had already said to much mentioning her ties to Song or SoLo as she was calling herself now.
“No, I’m okay. Besides I know better than to let you in on personal secrets. I remember reading and hearing about your earlier feud/association with Rodriguez, like I’m willing to let you torment me the same way.” Nyako snorted, trying to change the subject.
“That is the past and you know that. Eva and I are on friendlier terms now. Some may even say we have a friendship.”
“Yeah if they’re suffering from brain damage they would.” Retorted Nyako. “If it’s all the same, some things I’ll will still keep to myself. No offense Syn, I’m only kidding about you and the Puerto Rican Chihuahua, but I’m just not there yet, ready to bear my soul to anyone, not even you.” She said trying to smooth things over.
“Very well then.” Syn said sitting back in her chair, resigned to the fact Nyako was closing down on her when she was close to finding out more. She would let the subject go now, at least in the sense of not pursuing it with Nyako herself, but she did have enough info to start digging into the little glimpse of her past. She filed it away for later though when she had the time to devote to it. “What is your game plan going forward?”
“I guess get ready for my real LAW debut. Still though with Kymiku, I’ve just not sure if I can concentrate on things. Like I said, she’s creeping me out at home. The glances she gives me when she thinks I’m not paying attention; her going through my things when I’m not around. I saw that she went through a box of personal mementos from younger days; she was looking at a picture of our family. That in its self isn’t creepy but I never knew her to reminisce about the past.”
“Yes, she does seem to be the type that likes to live in the here and now and inflict as much chaos and destruction as she can before moving on.”
“You can say that again.” Nyako gave a nervous laugh. “You know that first night she stayed in my place?”
Syn nodded slightly remembering that night when Nyako got both the notice of her termination from being Grey's trainer and also notice of hr upcoming debut in LAW which she had never planned on even wrestling for.
“Well I saw her standing over me, staring, as I slept. I felt something was wrong and looked up and saw her over me. I don’t know if she was planning on doing something to me that night or just planning things out for later but it fucking crept me the hell out. I really haven’t been able to get a full nights rest since. I’ve have had one eye open. She hasn’t done it again but once was more than enough with her.”
“I can arrange for her to have her own housing if you want.” Syn offered. “I’m sure Cat wouldn’t care.”
“No, I’m alright for now. She is my blood and my cross to bear. Why should I unleash her on the public when I can keep tabs on her myself. It’s probably for the best this way. I’m probably just being paranoid. She does say she is trying to turn over a new chapter in her life. Still this whole thing seems just too planned, and the LAW contract.” Nyako shook her head after the remark. “I need to talk to her about that and see if she’s behind it.”
“You think she’ll give you the truth?”
“Probably not, but I think I can tell if she’s lying or not. I mean I feel she was truthful about the attack on Scion, and about trying to make amends with me, but even a cobra can be calm once in a while. Doesn’t mean you should always think it will remain that way.”
Nyako rose out of her seat and stretched before making her way over to the office door to leave. “You know, as much as I’m dreading what is to come or what may happen, I got to admit, this adrenaline rush it’s causing is kind of euphoric. It makes me almost wonder why I wanted to give it up. Almost.” She said smirking before taking her leave.
Syn watched Nyako walk and waited a few moments before she buzzed her assistant. “Has Nyako left yet?”
“Yes Ms. Syn, she just went down on the elevator. Do you need me to bring her back?”
“No, Mr. Davis. If you can contact my driver, Boris though; I have a job for him.”
“Very well Madam, is there anything else I can assist you with?” The assistant replied.
“I need you to bring me the file on Song Xi Lui, or as she is going by now, SoLo. Please be discreet about it Mr. Davis, I would like as few to know about this as possible.” Syn said as she turned to look out of her office window out on the skyline of New York.
“I’ll gather the information myself madam. Will that be all?”
“One last thing; if you can find any tape on ‘The Doc’, the LAW superstar. I would greatly appreciate it.”
“I’ll get right on these tasks Ms. Syn.”
“Thank you Mr. Davis.” Was the last thing Syn said as she started to plot and let her mind go to work. It had been awhile since she had so much to occupy her time, and just like Nyako the feeling was euphoric.
