{A black screen. After some time, We get the usual intro, then we get more LAW event highlights, and then Gabby Camacho, Crystal Hilton, The Boardwalk Angels, Etsuko Mitzusaka, and Roxy Cotton holding up their respective titles. We cut from that to a live wide shot of the audience as they cheer wildly as "Fighter" by Christina Aguilera playing. We go to Troy, Skye, and Duke, already sitting down.}

MATCH #1
Alexis Riot vs. Bonnie McBody
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bonnie McBody defeated Alexis Riot in 3:47 following a Pledge Paddle kick. McBody was in control most of the match until Riot made a comeback, but missed a charge in the corner and McBody hit the kick to score the pinfall.
{Backstage, roving cameras (they have a lot of them) come across a conversation going on near catering. Zoey Madigan-Star, one-half of the LAW Tag Team Champions, stands by with a few of the backstage crew members, animatedly telling a story. The camera isn’t close enough to pick up on all that’s being said, but whatever Zoey is expressively explaining is rather entertaining to those listening. There’s lots of laughter going on and the Boardwalk Angel is very much in her element. As she pauses for a sip of tea, pinky extended, she happens to look up and spot someone coming their way… none other than Amy Jo Smyth. She smoothly turns back to the conversation at hand but there’s no ignoring the woman gradually approaching the small crowd.
Smyth slides into the fold of amused and rapt crew members. She snatches a bag of chips off the table and because AJ is AJ, opens it as loudly as possible, crinkling the bag more than really needed, and opening it with a loud pop. Naturally this draws the attention of the others, though Zoey works to pointedly ignore it and keep telling the story before, gesturing gently to the crew members, asking them to give her a moment to speak to her… guest. Not one to be ignored or outdone, Smyth removed a chip and crunched it loudly. To make things worse, she chews much harder than she needs to, betraying those Southern manners that were beat into her during her youth. It isn't that she doesn't know, it's that she doesn't care.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: Something I can help you with, Amy?
{Despite it all, Zoey is polite. At least she sounds polite. AJS keeps chomping away on her chips.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: I’m sure there’s SOME reason why you barged up and interrupted the conversation…
Amy Jo Smyth: I just wanted some chips.
{Looking past Smyth, or rather just over her shoulder and toward the tables nearby, Zoey spots a myriad of different bags of snack foods, many flavors of chips included. Nodding slight, she returns her attention to AJ and smiles, albeit faintly.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: ...right. Pull the other one; it’s got bells on.
Amy Jo Smyth: Jingle jangle…
{She crunches down on the chip in perfect timing with her statement.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: Cute. So what do you want?
{Zoey does not take her eyes off Smyth… not for a moment. Smyth has no problem moving her eyes around. She searches for something.}
Amy Jo Smyth: Where's your, uh, platonic life partner? Having a bit of a lover’s quarrel?
{Ah, that got a bit of a reaction. Zoey’s expression twitches slightly, just a momentary glimpse of a nerve being tugged upon. But her smile remains where it is for the time being.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: She has her own business to tend to at the moment. We’re not exactly joined at the hip.
Amy Jo Smyth: Coulda fooled me. I'd also reconsider that idea.
{Smyth shoves a chip in her mouth then casually discards the bag into a nearby trash can. She loudly brushes her hands off, wiping away the crumbs and rubbing the grease into her skin.}
Amy Jo Smyth: That was a cute magic trick you pulled last week with Etsuko… Seems that singles really isn't your thing. Maybe you should attach yourself to her hip. Might make it easier for you two to carry each other.
Zoey Madigan-Star: Never thought I’d see the day when someone of your intelligence and talent would quote someone like Roxy Cotton. How far the mighty have fallen, eh?
{Except Zoey does not find it that funny at all. She stares almost coldly at Amy Jo, lowering her voice a note.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: I made a mistake last time. But it’s water under the bridge, no matter how much some people would love to see Farrah and I on the outs. I don’t know what you’re trying to pull here, Smyth, but I’m not biting.
Amy Jo Smyth: First of all, no.
{Smyth points a stiff finger at Zoey.}
Amy Jo Smyth: Second, I'm not a fisherman and I ain't fishing but boy, did momma just catch herself a big old fishy.
{The blonde lowers her hand, looks Zoey up and down, and tightens her eyes. She takes a step closer and sniffs the air. Once satisfied, she relaxes and smirks.}
Amy Jo Smyth: Hm. Didn't expect that. Sometimes it's what we say when we don't mean to say it that makes all the difference.
{Smyth’s circuitous way of speaking seems to be wearing on Zoey’s nerves. Her grip upon the championship over her shoulder tightens, not in a protective fashion so much as her needing something to clutch to keep her hand busy. She draws in a deep breath, lets it out, and opens her eyes anew to stare at Smyth.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: Say what’s on your mind already.
Amy Jo Smyth: I think you should say what's on your mind because you clearly got something weighing down on it.
{Smyth moves around the table now, looking for something else to nibble on.}
Amy Jo Smyth: That might be water under the bridge, but maybe that water is a little bit… rough?
{She takes a donut, her favorite treat, and turns back to Zoey.}
Amy Jo Smyth: Trouble in paradise?
Zoey Madigan-Star: ...no.
{The magician looks off down the hall briefly, then back to Smyth.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: She’s angry but she’ll get over it.
Amy Jo Smyth: That didn't sound very confident. What if she doesn’t get over it? What if things are a lot worse than they seem?
Zoey Madigan-Star: We’re family. Have been for more than half our lives. It doesn’t matter what the issue may be; we’ll work it out. We always do.
{She sounds confident enough, though AJ doesn’t seem convinced. Smyth picks at the donut, moving a sprinkle to the side.}
Amy Jo Smyth: Do you know that I have it written into my contract that bookers provide strawberry-frosted donuts with sprinkles from Dunkin Donuts at all shows? Even overseas bookings - except they don’t have to be from Dunkin Donuts.
{Smyth takes a bite of donut. Zoey, her lips parting to retort, instead shakes her head.}
Zoey Madigan-Star: What… does that have to do with anything?!
Amy Jo Smyth: Do you like donuts, Ms. Madigan-Star?
Zoey Madigan-Star: Well, yes, sometimes… why?
{Confusion is having its way with Zoey, causing her to become more agitated as the conversation continues. Smyth takes another bite of her donut and chews it slowly, savoring the taste and staring at Madigan-Star the whole time.}
Amy Jo Smyth: Does Mrs. Cornett like donuts?
Zoey Madigan-Star: What is the point of even asking?!
Amy Jo Smyth: The point is… We don’t always know everything about a person, no matter how close to them we are, no matter how in sync we are with them. A lot goes on in a person’s mind at any given moment. The average person has upwards of 70,000 thoughts a day. That’s 34 or 35 thoughts a minute. Negative thoughts and repetitive thoughts make up the bulk of those thoughts.
{Smyth finishes the donut, chewing slowly, and letting Madigan-Star sit with that new information.}
Amy Jo Smyth: One day they might be completely normal and everything is fine, relationships stable and healthy, then bam!
{She claps her hands together loudly.}
Amy Jo Smyth: Utterly different person. Negative thoughts take over and well, that’s a whole different chapter in the theoretical psychology textbook. Humans are unpredictable and can only be controlled so far. We can only know so much about a person and their motivations. What do you really know about Farrah? If you don’t know her favorite donut, then what do you know?
{Again, Zoey seeks an answer… but she has nothing to offer. Smyth shrugs, shakes her own head, grabs another donut, and calmly walks past the tag champion, almost condescendingly patting her on the shoulder in passing.}

Etsuko Mitzusaka vs. Amy Jo Smyth
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Amy Jo Smyth defeated Etsuko Mitzusaka in 13:44 despite Etsuko working over Smyth's knee for the majority of the match. Every time Smyth would mount some offense, Etsuko went back to the knee. Interestingly enough, Farrah Cornett made her way to the stage to watch and seemingly study an opponent. But was it Smyth? Or was it Etsuko? Etsuko tried to finish the match with The Etsuko Bunny hop, but Smyth kicked her knees out from under her, and pulled Etsuko into the Eat Me Out [Triangle Choke] and Etsuko refused to submit, instead passing out and Smyth was declared the winner.

MATCH #4
Seleana Zdunich vs. Nova Sinclair
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nova Sinclair defeated Seleana Zdunich in 14:00 in a highly competitive match. Seleana used her size to keep Nova off balance and literally running away from her as Seleana was able to easily overpower and toss Nova around. Seleana missed a charge in the corner and Nova began to work her arm and shoulder, and was able to keep the larger Seleana grounded. Nova teased going for the Super Nova, but decided she would no longer do it and Seleana slammed her off the top rope. Just when it seemed Seleana was about to win the match, Nova took the turnbuckle pad off the top rope and managed to throw Seleana's bad shoulder into it. Nova locked on a stepover armbar and shoulder lock, Seleana looked to reach the ropes, Nova used her foot to push the ropes away from Seleana's grasp. Seleana eventually had to tap after what seemed like ages, but before permanent damage was done.

Gabby Camacho vs. Alicia Lukas
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gabby Camacho and Alicia Lukas went to a double count out draw in 17:53 in the most competitive and back and forth match of the night. Alicia proved she was more than capable of going toe to toe with the LAW champion, and the Champion gave as good as she got. Neither woman was able to secure either a pinfall of submission for several mintues, and neither could hold any sustained advantage. Gabby eventually clotheslined Alicia to the floor and the two brawled, until the two were battling on the apron and Alicia suplexed Gabby off the apron to the floor, which prevented either from beating the 10 count back into the ring. Both were helped at ringside as the show ended.
