Welcome to...
Hiya guys and gals!
This is Carmen Diaz, LAW's lead interviewer, and once again I bring you "Carmen's Corner". It’s been another great, exciting week for LAW. 8 days away from Queen of the Ring, and excitement is in the air!
News and Rumors:
- We wish to also formally welcome Alexis Jones to the LAW roster. We hope to see great things from her!
- The Circle Television Network continues to capitalize on their success of Gabby Camacho's Workout DVD, to a project with Summer St. Clair as well. CTN looks to be on to something with these side projects.
- The Mandalay Bay Events Center is now SOLD OUT, so the only way to catch this great show is live on iPPV!
LAW #11 Review
- It was LAW in Denver, and there were a lot of twists and turns as we inched closer to Queen Of The Ring. It was an eventful night as the 8 women were announced for the tournament itself.
Evelyn Taylor, Jennifer Drew, Jennifer Williams, Keira Fisher, Mackenzie Roberts, Nyako, Gabrielle Salinas, & Miyoko Reeves all have the chance to make history and become the first ever Queen of the Ring!
- The opener saw Jenny Tuck battle newcomer Mackenzie Roberts. One of the reasons Mackenzie was chosen for the Queen Of The Ring tournament was her performance in this match, as she hung with Jenny and eventually earned the hard fought victory. Mackenzie could be one of the favorites heading into the tournament.
- Miyoko Oshiro and Nyako are also both going to be in the tournament, and they both gave a great effort in the match they had, again both women looking for momentum going into Queen of the ring. Nyako on this night was able to get the better of Miyoko but she also had to earn it.
- Backstage, the situation with Zelda Knite and Kelly Knite is getting weirder as Jaymie Boone made her debut and attacked Skye Sparks. One has to wonder what Zelda is in for in the future.
- Gabrielle Salinas and Jenny Williams put on another great match, possibly the match of the night as Gabrielle's new attitude and aggressive style was able to overcome the successful Jenny Williams, both these women will also be in the tournament, but if they meet again, it'll be in the finals!
- Gabby Camacho took Oni in Oni's in-ring debut, and both these women gave each other hell. They went blow for blow, but quick thinking by Oni enabled her to win a match. It was highly rumored that Oni would have been selected to be in the Queen of the Ring tournament, but anything concrete was dashed when Sidney and Summer beat down Nyako and injured her ribs. Luckily, Gabby Camacho and Nyako made the save.
- And speaking of Summer and Sidney, they were up against Kate Steele and The Doc. Everything seemed to be going alright for the make-shift team of champion and challenger, but in the end, the Doc and Kate had some communication problems, and it enabled Sidney and Summer to cheat their way to victory. But post match, Summer and Sidney were confronted by Nyako, but it was more of a shock to see Crystal Hilton return and now they also have a match at Queen of the Ring
LAW Queen Of The Ring Preview
It's going to be the biggest show of the summer for LAW. It's going to be a great show for everyone, and one woman will make history by winning the Queen of the Ring Tournament.
The Queen of the Ring Tournament:
It's going to be Jennifer Drew vs. Miyoko Oshiro and Keira Fisher vs. Gabrielle Salinas on one end, and Evelyn Taylor vs. Mackenzie Roberts and Jennifer Williams vs. Nyako on the other. It's wide open right now, so we could have some surprising combinations in the finals!
"I Quit" Match: Crystal Hilton vs. Sidney Grey:
The rivalry has been brewing for a very long time. They've traded barbs, they've fought and brawled, and now, they're going to finally finish it in Vegas. These two are going to put each other through hell in a brutal "I quit" match. One of these women will have to utter the phrase "I quit" but it could be a very long time before that happens.
LAW Marquee title Match: Summer St. Clair vs. Gabby Camacho
Summer St. Clair and Gabby Camacho have both been impressive in the past month. Summer overcame 3 other women and became the Marquee champion, and Gabby has never backed down from a fight, and been giving some of the top wrestlers in LAW a challenge, including a victory over Zelda Knite. Recently, Gabby stood up to Summer's antics, and they've gone back and forth on social media. The Marquee title match could be a show stealer!
LAW Championship Match: Kate Steele vs. The Doc
The Doc has been a rookie sensation. Kate Steele has been a successful champion here and elsewhere. Something has to give between these two. But last week, The Doc did suffer her first pinfall loss, while Kate got out relatively unscathed. But all that goes out the window in Vegas. It's going to be one of the most anticipated World title matches in LAW, and one of the biggest main events in LAW history!
Closing:
Once again, thanks to everyone who made L.A.W #11 possible, and who keep us alive and growing.
Thanks goes out to our friends and affiliates: The WWO alliance, Sin City Wrestling, Boardwalk Wrestling, 4 Corners Wrestling, Uncensored Inc., Girl Power Wrestling, and Inferno Wrestling
And from Lucas and Nicole Dupree thank you's go out to all the female wrestling talent that have spread the word about L.A.W on social media, and those who follow us.
For the crew running L.A.W., I'm Carmen Diaz, and I'll see you here next time on Carmens Corner.
