Following the events of LAW 46, Kenzi was hustled to the back by Bobbi London and the O’Connell sisters, avoiding the other ladies and interviewers. She knew that she wouldn’t be the most popular person in LAW, especially after cold cocking Keira Fisher and laying out Maria Salvatore in the middle of the ring. Kenzi left strict instructions for the women to only allow Alex in the back as she sat in the back and prepared for the firestorm that was sure to hit her after Alex finally arrived.
What Alex and everyone else needed to understand was that Kenzi hadn’t asked for any of this…she had been driven to this point by people like Keira Fisher, Jenny Tuck, and Maria Salvatore. She hadn’t asked for any confrontations…but she had finished them all for the sake of maintaining the sanctity of her relationship with Alex…and even her very freedom. She knew that Alex would have a hard time understanding this at first…but she’d be made to see the light soon enough…
Outside the room, Bobbi London did her best to keep her distance from the O’Connell sisters. They were bad news as far as she was concerned and they wouldn’t be within 1000 feet of Kenzi if she had her way, but the girl insisted on haven’t those jackals on her payroll. But as bothersome as that was, the thing that upset Bobbi the most wasn’t the two nimrods helping to guard Kenzi, it was her visit to Hannah Paul in jail for Alex, the day before. Alex had asked Bobbi to go talk to Hannah…and she had done it…begrudgingly. She frowned as she recalled it…
Bobbi London didn’t feel comfortable with the mission that Alex Yin had sent her on, but the girl was her friend, and a good one at that. When she had come to live with Alex and Kenzi, she wasn’t sure what to expect, but she had immediately taken to the tiny Asian girl. Her light and bubbly personality was infectious. It affected nearly everyone around her…especially her employer, Kenzi Gray. Whether she realized it or not, Alex was the one thing that kept Kenzi from spinning completely out of control. She had seen how finding out about the kiss between Alex and Hannah had affected Kenzi. For a moment, she was ready to let Alex go…then she seemed to think the better of it…like a child that had ventured out too close to the edge of a cliff. Instead of letting Alex go, she had drawn her in even closer, resolving herself not to let go of the girl. The only problem was the fact that Kenzi wasn’t satisfied with just having Alex to herself…she felt the need to eliminate Hannah from the equation completely.
Kenzi had eliminated Hannah…or at least arranged for the woman to eliminate herself. Hannah Paul had come to LAW and confessed to the hit and run on Sidney Grey…effectively taking herself out of Kenzi’s way, once and for all. In one fell swoop, Kenzi got her job back and her main rival for Alex Yin’s affections was out of the picture…forever. Pretty crafty…if Bobbi said so herself, but Alex wasn’t completely convinced that everything was as it seemed.
When Alex had asked her to talk to Hannah, Bobbi had already known that Kenzi had messed with the girl’s head by hacking into Alex’s email and pretending to be her. Bobbi didn’t know all of the sorted details…and she hadn’t cared to know them...unfortunately, Alex didn’t feel the same. So, she now found herself sitting in the visitor’s room of the jail about to talk to a girl that she despised.
As Hannah walked into the room and laid eyes on Bobbi, she frowned, unsure of what was going on. The girl sat down on the other side of the glass divider and picked up the phone, as Bobbi did the same on her side. Hannah narrowed her eyes, “Bobbi? Why are you here?” Her eyes grew wide, “HAS SOMETHING HAPPENED TO ALEX?!!”
Bobbi shook her head, “No mate…Alex is fine…just fine. Actually, she’s the one that sent me ‘ere to see you. She was concerned…but promised Kenzi that she wouldn’t come personally…so…’ow are you doing in here lassie?”
Hannah stared at Bobbi, unsure how to take this. Kenzi had warned her against contacting Alex and apparently she had done the same outside, warning Alex not to contact her. She narrowed her eyes, “What is all this? What kind of games is Kenzi playing here?! Are you sure that Alex is alright?!! Something smells rotten here!!”
Bobbi agreed with Hannah on that point, “LOOK ‘ERE! I don’t want to be ‘ere talking to you…frankly, after what you tried to pull…you give me the fucking skivies mate! You tried to fuck me friend’s fiancée…right in ‘er own bleeding ‘ouse…so, I don’t care that you’re rotting away in jail…but…” she paused, giving a sigh, “…for whatever reason, Alex still wants to know that you’re okay…so…tell me you are and I’ll be on me way!”
Hannah stared at Bobbi through the glass for a moment, then frowned, “Before I answer…I need to know…was that email I got from Alex…really from her? I thought at first that it was…but now…I wonder…”
Bobbi swallowed, she knew the answer to that question and she knew that it was written all over her face. Kenzi had hacked into Alex’s email. She didn’t know what she sent to Hannah, but apparently it was something serious enough to get her to fly back to the States and take the wrap for running down Kenzi’s mother. “Look mate, I…”
Hannah’s hand went to her mouth as she stared at Bobbi wide eyed. “OH MY GOD!! THE EMAIL…IT WASN’T FROM ALEX!! THE EMAIL THAT SAID SHE WAS GOING TO CONFESS TO RUNNING DOWN SIDNEY GREY TO KEEP KENZI OUT OF JAIL!! THAT BITCH!! SHE SET ME UP…SHE SET ME UP AGAIN!!”
Bobbi frowned at this statement, “What do you mean? She set you up again? Are you talking about with ‘er Mum? Did you really hit Sidney?” Hannah stared at Bobbi, her face was ash-white, but she didn’t answer. “Can you please answer me?! Did you really run down ‘er Mum?!!”
Hannah spoke slowly, “…I need to speak to Alex…” She hung up the phone and backed away, still mouthing the words she has spoke into the handset moments before.
Bobbi didn’t know what to tell Alex…if she told Alex anything at all. All she knew for certain was that Hannah had been tricked into taking the fall the way that she did. She still have no love for the girl, but it was obvious that she still loved and cared about Alex…so much so that it seemed that she had copped to a charge just to make sure that Alex didn’t do it first.
Bobbi wrung her hands nervously…not sure of what to say to Alex when she saw her…if she ever mentioned this at all…
