Mackenzie Roberts was sitting by herself in a restaurant. She had a drink in front of her she took a sip of it and looked down at table, when she looked back up her dinner mate came back and sat down across from her. It was a man in about his mid-thirties. He was in good shape, showing that he kept himself in good shape. He reached over and took a drink and smiled as he looked at her. She took a deep breath herself and smiled.
Mackenzie Roberts: I have to thank you again Andrew from coming here. It sucks that I missed you when I went and saw Dan a few weeks ago.
Andrew Johnson: It’s okay. I knew that I’d catch up with you sooner rather than later. Also with Dan saying that you were looking good and feeling good it made me want to see you more. He also said that you were having problems of some sort.
Mackenzie sighed into her glass and shook her head.
Mackenzie Roberts: Not really a problem just a concern. It is just something that I have been thinking about the past few months, something that I have always talked about where it has almost become pointless to talk about. You know what I mean?
Andrew smiled as the food came, he took a bite of his dinner and looked at her pointing his fork at her.
Andrew Johnson: Dan, did tell me a little bit about that. How you don’t feel respected. Look Mackenzie Dan and I watch all the time and we are VERY proud of you. Do you remember where you started? The girl that walked down the ramp with us and sat outside cheering us on and almost NEVER getting involved even when people thought that you would. That was the key component of us, you making people think that you were a threat. But now you have become that threat right? So, for the people that you don’t think have given you respect you have proven them wrong. Every match that you win, every match that you fight in you have proven them wrong girl. If you were the same person that never got involved in matches then you wouldn’t have evolved. You have though and you should be proud of it.
She smiles letting the words sink in a little bit.
Mackenzie Roberts: Do you think it is bad that I want more though?
She took a bit of her food and cocked her head a bit.
Andrew Johnson: No. You know why? We all want something more Mackenzie. When Dan and I were doing what we did best in that company, we would always say we wanted more. When we went two years with the tag titles we kept saying lets go a third one. That was us, we just wanted to keep on going and going. Now you, you have held a title for almost a year and you still want more? Right there is a good thing Mackenzie, it shows that you have a passion that you want to be the best that you can be. If you didn’t think that I would think that there is something wrong.
He smiles as he takes another bite of his food.
Andrew Johnson: All you need to do is keep doing what you have been. Who cares what people think?
She shrugs her shoulders as she finishes her drink and looks at her food.
Mackenzie Roberts: I just want to be the best.
Andrew Johnson: WE ALL DO!
Andrew spoke louder now people around them started to look at them, Andrew gave them a look back and everyone went back to their dinners.
Andrew Johnson: You have been the best though Mackenzie. Just be you, when you think you are down and out get back up and fight. That title is known because of you. No one can take that away, and I promise you people do respect you even if they don’t tell you that. Just know that Dan and I are behind you, Mari is behind you, Kate is behind you. You have people rooting for you.
Mackenzie Roberts: I know Andrew. Thank you, I guess I just needed to hear it again.
He laughs as he finishes his dinner.
Andrew Johnson: All you had to do was ask.
She smiles and tosses her hair behind her ears as the two friends keep on talking as the scene fades to black.

Mackenzie Roberts: So now my passion is being questioned?
Mackenzie Roberts is in her workout gear in her hotel room. A towel is wrapped around the back of her neck. She shakes her head and laughs a bit.
Mackenzie Roberts: My will has been questioned…my resolve has been questioned…and lastly my intelligence has been questioned. But by who?
That’s right someone that needs a collar to hold her back from actually fighting to the best of her abilities, something that she has stated. Etsuko, when you told me you need that collar to stop you from hurting me it made me realize something that you don’t have the passion. When you told me that I have looked past people it made me realize something, you have me all wrong. When you came at me and said that this is a burden…
She picked up the Marquee Title and shook her head.
Mackenzie Roberts: I realized you don’t know what the hell you are talking about. Why would this title be a burden to me? Why would something that I have fought for and defended whenever LAW management has asked me to do become something that I don’t want anymore? I would never consider this a burden because it has made me the best wrestler in this company. Now if that is looking down on someone then I’m sorry but Etsuko the proof is in the pudding.
Holding this title as long as I have I can start to claim that I’m the best wrestler in this company because no one has touched me, no one can lay claim that they have held a title longer in LAW than I have. No one can talk about how they have almost held a title for a year, but I can. I can stand here and look deep into the camera and say I’m the champion and until someone beats me that is what I am. Etsuko, you don’t know anything about me, but thank you for putting words into my mouth. Like I have said I have never said anything about being better than someone. I have looked at everyone the same way, people can beat me but no one has been able to do it yet. I’m sorry Etsuko but putting those words into my mouth has kind of made me want to beat you even more. When I heard that you were getting the shot at me I kind of looked at it as a challenge and that is the truth. I have seen how good you can be finishing second in the Queen of The Ring that is something that I have never been able to do. You earned the right to face me and I’m not taking that away from me but just like the Queen of The Ring you are going to be finishing in second place. Now go ahead and twist those words and make them sound like I’m saying I’m better than you because it works for you. But I never said that about you, I know that you will give me a challenge because you are hungry for this title. You want to be the one that ends my reign you want to be the one that grabs the title from me and when the Marquee Title is talked about the name Etsuko will be there as the one that finally beat Mackenzie Roberts. Good for you because I want that passion from you but like I have said that collar takes it away from you right?
She shakes her head as she keeps the title on her shoulder.
Mackenzie Roberts: You have stated that the collar holds you back from hurting someone from making them bleed. Why do you need that? Wouldn’t you want to do that to make someone bleed so you could beat them? See that collar holds you back and with that you need to be on the top of your game to beat me. The collar is to protect people like me but when a title is on the line everything goes out the window Etsuko. But with you having that around your neck in this match it will hurt you. Why? Because what happens when you have me on the edge of defeat and you want to pound me into submission and that collar sends that shock throughout your body and it makes you go weak and I get up and take advantage of that? There goes the shot that you have worked for right down the tubes and you’d have that collar to blame. The one that protects your opponents hurts you in the long run. Which is sad, because you don’t want something like that costing you a win, but sadly in this match it might just do that.
She smiles as she sits on the bed she puts the title beside her. She leans closer to the camera and quickly throws her hair into a ponytail.
Mackenzie Roberts: I also started to realize something that made me see that your head really isn’t into the match Etsuko. At first you told me that my days as champion and my defenses of the title were VERY impressive. Which I tend to agree and then all of the sudden you flipped on me and said while my days were impressive my title defenses weren’t that great so which one is it? You seem to be trying to find something to get me on but you cannot find it.
The digs you tried to come at me with were good attempts but like you they fall short. You will not beat me for this and Etsuko you can claim that you are the flag bearer for this company but what have you done to hold up that flag?
She shakes her head once more and looks back at the title and smiles.
Mackenzie Roberts: You want this title and you will be good and you will fight for the red lady or whatever the heck she is and you will want to try and make her proud but you will not get past me. You can talk yourself up and you can talk about how I think I am better than everyone, that my title reign is just a number and how I am pissed that I haven’t been acknowledged as a champion in the way I want to be. But that also has become something that has been spit in your face because a couple weeks ago LAW went on to twitter and acknowledged my accomplishments, so what are you trying to say now? That it was a fake tweet and they are just being nice now? Granted I want more from them but they have tweeted me and they have said how damn impressive it has been so I guess you saying I don’t pay attention could be said about you as well.
You stepped up the game when you came down and wanted to get a closer look at me, and I let my eyes off of the game for a little bit and Kate was pinned and we lost the tag match against the Naughty Girls. Maybe, you didn’t mean to distract me but you did and yeah maybe it was my fault but what I was supposed to think when my opponent comes out to the ring? If I came out in a match of yours you’d think the same thing that I was there to fight you and get you off of your game.
Etsuko calling me a little girl was a huge mistake because now I have to go down to the ring and prove you wrong like I have every single other person in this company. They all have felt the same way about me, that this will be the night Mackenzie will finally lose her title. You have the shot at Night of Glory, your name can be engraved on this title and if that happens I move on. Or you can lose to me like everyone else has and you can go to the back of the line and think of a different game plan to beat me. You see when this title is one the line believe it or not I step up…
Why?
Because contrary to what you think I have PRIDE for this title. I have PASSION for this business, I have the HEART to win, and I will not be STOPPED. Maybe I read too deep into your little collar but if that is going to stop you from beating me down you don’t deserve to be a champion. Because when you want to be a champion you have to stop at NOTHING to win, you can be on the edge of your seat wondering if you will get shocked. But don’t worry you aren’t going to shock me because I will not lose to you.
The Marquee title is mine, and it isn’t a burden it is my life…
She shakes her head but then winks and smiles as she blows a kiss to the camera, she picks up her title and kisses it as the scene fades to black.
