Fall Ball Championship
Crystal had pulled up into the parking lot of the softball field and she was clad in a Blue and Yellow softball jersey that had the words Millar written on the back of it as well as the number 23. Crystal wore a baseball cap and her hair was wrapped into a ponytail as it flowed from the back of her cap. Crystal stepped out of the car as she took her flip flops off and put on a pair of cleats. The passenger’s side of the car opened up and Brittany was also wearing the same Jersey except hers had the name Williams written on the back as well as the number 22. Brittany already had her cleats on as she turned her attention over to her mother.
“Mom why are you even wearing that?! I appreciate you coming to my game. It’s honestly the first time you have ever come out to see me play and I do appreciate it but you weren’t there when my team were all working hard just to make it to the postseason. You weren’t there when we went on our miracle run. It’s a miracle that we have even made it this far…”
Crystal nods her head in agreement as she looks back at her daughter. “I know but I am here for you right now. St Anne’s Archers all day. You know I support the team. I gotta represent my daughter, and I wouldn’t miss it for the world…”
Brittany sighs looking back at her mother. “Mom you have never been to a game before. This is exactly the kind of stuff that Camacho was yelling to you about. You aren’t even a true fan. More like a fair weather fan. Me being in this championship game suits you and now that it does you want to get the customized Archers jersey like you were cheering from us since day one, and truth be told you know damn well that’s not even the case….I bet you can’t even name one person on the team besides me…”
Crystal stands there as she shrugs her shoulders. “Well that’s not that important…”
Brittany sighs as she looks deeply into her mother’s eyes. “Really?! That’s not that important… It’s funny considering softball is a team game… You should know considering you yourself played the sport before you got pregnant with me…”
“Well my team sucked but I was an ACE pitcher. Had scouts from Michigan State and Michigan looking at me. You know I could have been a D1 pitcher. Pitching strikes all day…Your mother was good… You need to stop sleeping on me like I wasn’t good, and if you have just a taste of what I had. There’s no doubt in my mind you are going to be amazing… Actually just having my blood flowing though means you have that greatness…”
Brittany just shakes her head as she looks back at her mother. “And once again you ducked my question of who was on the team beside me which means you just don’t know… Do you even know what position I play?!”
Crystal thinks about it as she nods her head in agreement. “Of course I know what position you play. I would assume it’s a pitcher because after all. You want to follow in your mother’s footsteps right?”
Brittany shakes her head. “Nope… Like I said you are just clueless…”
“Well you play right field because that’s what your father used to play…”
Brittany shook her head. “Wrong again… Just admit you don’t know…”
“Catcher?! 1st base? 2nd base?!”
“Mom just stop… Like I said you don’t even have a clue….Because you don’t really follow and that’s fine…There’s no need to act like you are the biggest fan. Just play it cool and let me do what I do. I just want you to watch me play and be happy that my team made it this far. Everybody else has their parents come to every game. So it’s amazing that you even have time to be here. Just enjoy it and wish for me to do my best…”
“Do your best?! Brittany… You are my daughter… I know you are carrying this team on your back. I know for a fact you are the star of the team. After all you are a Hilton that’s what we do…”
“Mom…”
“Your uncle Mike… Played for the Chicago Bears….”
“Mom…”
“Your Aunt Ester won countless weightlifting competitions…”
“Mom…”
“Your Aunt Cherrie won numerous high school accolades… Became a Doctor….”
“MOMMMMMMM”
“What! Stop yelling at me! And there’s no need to talk about me because we all know what I did in the world of sports. Whether in wrestling or in my early days of high school softball… I was always the one people could rely on… Do you know what it means to be an ACE pitcher? What it means to gun these bitches down. That was me….Just wait until we get to the field… I am going to help you and your team warm up. Get right there on the field throw some fast balls to your catcher let them know the real kind of heat they are supposed to be catching and…”
Before she could finish her statement that is when Brittany sprinted to someone else. It was none other than her father Todd Williams. Crystal rolled her eyes as Brittany also gave Jennifer a hug.
Both of them embraced Brittany into a passionate hug as Todd looks down into his daughter’s eyes.”
“You ready for your game today B Brat?!”
“Of course I am…But St. Gall’s Gargoyles are one of the best power house batting teams in Southern California. They went undefeated in their division and I don’t know…”
Todd looks at his daughter.
“That doesn’t even matter. Your team is one of the best defensive teams in the league… What do you think is going to happen when the best defense meets the best offense? You just got to neutralize them. Besides your team can hit too especially you, ever since you worked on what I told you. Your swing has gotten better. You have the best slugging percentage on your team so just play your game…”
Crystal rolls her eyes as she looks at Brittany before turning her eyes to Todd. “Whoa… She has the best slugging percentage on her team?!”
“Yeah… Plus batting percentage… She’s really good… But as good as her batting might be she really shines through with her defense at third. Probably the best in the league… Honestly…”
“And why hasn’t she talked it up! Telling the whole world that she’s the best and what not?! And why is she playing third to begin with…”
Todd just sighs as she looks into her eyes.
“You really don’t have a fucking clue do you. Everything isn’t always about you Crystal. The world doesn’t revolve you… Brittany is doing what SHE wants to do but you would know that if you actually could afford to spend some time with your daughter. Yet you can take time out of your busy schedule day to go to this video game convention! Or maybe to torment Matt Stone which you always seem to do, but when it comes time to spending time with Brittany I guess it’s not important. Same way you ruined her sweet 16 because you made it about you…”
“Whatever Todd… No one cares what you have to say. I am just here to support my daughter and watch her WIN!”
Brittany looks back at her parents as she shakes her head. “Would you two just STOP that?! I am tired of having to fight over which parent to listen too. Tired of being shoved in the middle of both of you, that’s not fair to me! So just sit down and watch my game… You both have your moments but can be awesome when you want to be…. Mom… Mom where are you going?!”
Crystal isn’t even listening as she already has taken off and is sprinting her way onto the field.
Moments later…
Crystal is already on the field as her daughter’s team is practicing. Crystal grins as she looks at the pitcher warming up as she stands on the mound next to her and shakes her head at her.
“Do you even know how to throw? Who taught you your motion?!”
The teenage girl just shrugs her shoulders as she looks back at Crystal. “Ummm my family has paid for me to go to meaning training camps. I even went to a camp led by Clayton Kershaw and…”
“Well there’s your first problem you went to a camp led by a sorry ass Dodger… Besides he plays baseball… I don’t care if he is an ACE or not… He doesn’t know the ins and outs about playing softball. Let me show you how it is done!”
“But I should be warming up… This is a big game and…”
“Shhhhhhh not that important. When I was playing for MLK Jr. High this is how I used to do it…”
Crystal grabs a ball out of a bucket she stands on the mound. She quickly winds up the ball as she guns it right at the catcher but the catcher isn’t ready for it as it goes right in the dirt. Crystal just shakes her head in disgust as she looks back at the pitcher but that’s when Brittany runs over to where Crystal is.
“Mom what the hell are you doing?!” The real pitcher looks at everything as she turns her attention over to Brittany. “Is she a new coach for the team or something…”
“I am so sorry Tiffany… She’s far from that… She is my mom and she has NO business being out here on the field! She needs to get to her seat like where all of the other parents are sitting!”
Tiffany just giggles as she looks at Brittany. “It’s okay Britt… You know I am always up for a good chuckle now and then. Even though she was trying to teach me but her pitch was way out of the strike zone…”
“EXCUSE ME?!” Crystal snapped back as she looked at the girl. “Look let the Archers stay on the field. Just have a seat in the stands Ms. Williams. I mean no disrespect…”
“MRS. MILLAR… MILLAR! Don’t ever call me Williams ever again! That’s a part of my life I moved on from…” Crystal is about to argue with Tiffany and that’s when the coach of the team runs up to where Crystal is standing. He offers a long sigh as he looks into her eyes,
“Ma’am can you please get off of the field. We are looking to start our game soon and it’s hard with you standing there…”
“Excuse me?! I don’t appreciate you disrespecting me… You obviously don’t know who I am…”
“Look I really don’t care we have a game to start and this isn’t about you… It’s about the girls… Just sit down before I ask a security guard to remove you from the grounds…”
Crystal sighs as she makes her way over to the stands and sits a few seats from Todd. She stands up already standing up as the game introductions are done, and as soon as they announce Brittany she is cheering as loud as she possibly can. “THAT’S MY GIRL! THAT’S MY GIRL! I taught her everything she knows!”
Todd yells back at Crystal. “Just sit down! Stop trying to take credit for something you didn’t do. Brittany found her own way! You probably don’t even know why she chose the number 22 for a jersey number…”
Crystal thinks about it before she shrugs her shoulders. “Not important… “
“Not important?! Christina that’s our daughter what do you mean it’s not important. Well I always used the number 21 and you used 23 so to honor both so we wouldn’t get mad she chose the number in between which is number 22… We should be happy she thought of us both…”
“Meh should have been number 23!”
As soon as she says that Brittany is able to dive onto the ball and step on her base before throwing it to second and then to first for a triple play. The entire crowd begins to go wild as they cheer Brittany on. Crystal smiles as she stands up cheering obnoxiously…”
“THAT’S MY BABY GIRL! MY DAUGHTER!!!!!!!! AND SHE’S PROBABLY BETTER THAN YOUR SCRUBBY KIDS!”
Crystal dances around as she looks to hi five some fans but as soon as they stick their hands out to her she quickly pulls it back with a grin. “Like I would give you a hi five… You can’t ride on the Crystal train. St Anne’s Archers baby.. .Hitting the mark wherever we go!”
The game went back and for but eventually it came down to the ninth inning. The Archers were down by three runs in the top of the ninth. Bases were loaded with two outs to go and Brittany came up to the plate. Brittany came up to the plate as Crystal smiled from her seat. She stood up in her chair as she started screaming.
“Let’s go B Brat! Show everyone what the daughter of Crystal Hilton can do!”
“Ball 1!”
“There you go Brittany… That pitcher sucks. She doesn’t have anything on you. If need be send that ball for a ride!”
“Ball 2!”
“THAT’S MY GIRL! THEY ARE GONNA JUST WALK HER!”
Crystal cheers excitedly as she begins to stomp her feet.
“BALL 3!!!”
“That a girl now just relax she’s gotta come to you!”
The pitcher throws it at Brittany but she stands there as the pitch goes slightly out of the box. The crowd are all sitting there in silence as the call gets made.
“STRIKE 1!!!”
“How the hell is that a strike?! What kind of umpires does this fall ball league have?! Just wait until the spring when the girls are playing in the real league! I bet those umpires know what they are doing!”
The ball goes right outside the plate again but yet the umpire calls.
“STRIKE 2!!!”
By that time Crystal has seen enough as she walks onto the field. Todd just sits there dumbfounded as he glances at her from his seat. “Crystal get back what are you doing?!”
Crystal goes onto the field as she gets right in the umpire’s face. “Do you even know how to make the right call? Everybody could see that’s a ball yet you are trying to screw Brittany over because she’s MY daughter aren’t you?!”
“Ma’am please take a seat before I do something I don’t want to do…”
The crowd are all booing at Crystal and Crystal just turns her nose up to everyone as she looks at the crowd. “Oh all of you can shove it! I am doing what’s best for this team!”
She continues to argue with the umpire and it’s becoming a real nuisance on the game. The coach comes out to try to pull Crystal away but she’s still arguing with the umpire. “You need to learn what a strike is. My daughter is ready to win the game and…”
The umpire has had enough as he takes a long deep breath and looks deeply into Crystal’s eyes. “I am tired of hearing you complain and argue… You know what...You are outta here!”
He yells at Crystal as security walk over to her. “You can’t throw me out.. I am Crystal Millar! I run things and….”
He looks over at Brittany as he points at her. “And she’s out of here as well… We won’t tolerate a sore sport of a mother who can’t respect a simple game…”
Brittany seems to be in horror as she just drops her bat she is on the verge of tears as Crystal runs over to her. “Brittany I am so so sorry please….”
Brittany shakes her head in disgust as she stares daggers right into Crystal. “NO! Sorry isn’t good enough! This is what you always try to pull. You think everything is always about you! This is what exactly what Camacho was talking about, and you even pulled this nonsense with your own daughter… I really don’t even know what to say….”
“Brittany I….”
Todd runs over as he holds his daughter and she cries into his arms. Jenny runs down looking at Crystal.
“What’s wrong with you Christina? What do you have to be so full of yourself and so selfish… Not everything is about you… The world doesn’t revolve around you…”
Crystal didn’t know what to say as her daughter had left with Todd. Maybe what Camacho had been true. Maybe everything didn’t revolve around her. Crystal could only sigh as she knew she had messed up majorly, and she didn’t know what to do with herself as Brittany walked away. The girl who had come up to replaced Brittany. The pitch was thrown swing and a miss.
“STRIKE 3….”
Crystal had just cost her daughter her fall ball championship and she had nobody to blame but herself...She had some serious thinking to do…
Do you ever get the feeling that you messed up royally and are now trying to find a way to undo every bad decision that you’ve ever made? Especially when it comes to the likes of friends and family? You ever been put into a situation where you are being tested but you end up failing that test?
Well that’s me… That is who I have always been and little by little I am trying to change that about myself because I know I haven’t been the best of mothers. Brittany can attest to that. I have done so much stupid shit that it’s hard to make up years of being a fuck up. As a wife I have failed at that as well. I know marriage is supposed to be a sacred thing between two people and yet my bond with Jonathan isn’t as strong as it could be.
Half a year into our marriage and I was already trying to have an affair in another man named Matt Stone. What was supposed to be a simple rivalry over a video game slowly turned into something more.
And of course there’s the way that I treated my friends. The way I got salty over Taryn Willow when she won a singles championship before I did. I was supposed to be a team player. She made Every Man’s looked strong but instead of congratulating her I couldn’t get over the fact that she did something before me. The way I always threw Zelda Knite into the line of fire while I ran away from the heart of battle.
But as bad as it might have been I have been working on myself as an individual. I have been trying to do things with Brittany more and even though I still mess up to this day. I am out there making the effort. Matt Stone has been getting put in his place and to really become the wife that I should have been. I have been seeking help. I am the one who has talked up marriage counseling and been going when I can to be a better wife to Jonathan. Because at the end of the day I love him and he means the world to me.
As far as my friends go I told Zelda that she didn’t have to be out at ringside with me anymore. Because I didn’t want to see her getting beaten down anymore, I have made up with Keira Fisher and she has become one of my best friends in this industry. As far as Nicky Silver goes I have been there for her in her time of need because that’s what friends do, and she needs me. For as much as I was the heartless best friend. Who took her man, who stabbed her in the back, I will be there for her because she needs me.
I get it Camacho you want to assassinate my character because it’s what you do but as much as you want to tell the world you got a lot more where that’s coming from. The reality is by all means go for it. You are only just saying the same exact shit that I have heard for the past twelve years.
It’s no different than what others have said about me and I’ll own it. I’ll own it because in the grand scheme of things I can live up to what’s said about me. You going to fire at me I am a bad wife? Talk down how I am a shitty mother? Tell everyone something they don’t know about me. Go for it.
But at the end of the day talk is cheap and I know I have been making the strides to better myself so it doesn’t matter to me.
I respect you as a competitor and you are one of the top talents in the company today. I don’t need to stand in front of a camera dropping a dozen F bombs la dozen bitch bombs to get my point across. I don’t need to go to those boundaries just to convey how I feel.
I don’t know where you get this notion that I am going to stay down after we fight one another in the ring. Reality is if I lose I will do the same thing that I always do. I will pick myself up. I will still talk trash. I will inch my way back up to the top and I will be right there because that’s what warriors do. It’s what I have always done so why change that now?
But you can’t accept that because you have you have your head so far up your own butt that you only see what you want to see.
But what you need to realize Gabby is that I am putting everything on the line to take what you have. I thought it was a given that I would pull out all of the stops, and do what is needed to win the championship. Because at the end of the day it’s the only thing I dream about because it represents that all of those years of hard work and dedication to this company has paid off. It meant that I finally have achieved the unthinkable and from there I could work on defending my place at the top of the hill and taking down all challengers who might try to step up.
And I don’t care who tries to step up. I will be there to knock them down or at least give them a fight that they could remember.
You however are the one that’s a big fake. You sit there and puff your chest out like you are the best. Like you are a bad ass that can’t be touched, yes you have the belt. So we know you are the best but even you aren’t a woman of your word.
In the midst when I was a little salty over because I had to defend my right to be number one contender. You were out there telling everyone that you had kinda hoped I would be the one to emerge as the winner. Then you retracted saying you didn’t care just to turn around and prefer that it was me. Which is it Gabby? And even when I had moved on and was focused on handling mine. You were still there to push the envelope. You were there to still try to instigate the situation even though I had it in my heart.
That I was going to step up and focus on helping Nicky get ready for the ring. But you kept on talking shit just so you could feel involved in the entire situation.
We get it you are the champion. You should have an eye on everything but where was that in the weeks prior. Why is it that when it comes time to every other week. We don’t hear from you?
No correction we do. It’s usually behind a Twitter account when you are trying to gun after people like Kate and Kenzi when they are running amuck. Telling them to constantly sit down, sit down before you have to get involved and shut it down. Sit down before you have to step up and do something about it. Which is then followed up with these trash icons and laughter coming from you.
But the reality is the only one that has been sitting down is you!
And then to people who have done absolutely nothing to you. Such as Wendy House who you did beat. So congrats you did something I couldn’t manage to do when the odds were heavy in my favor.
But afterwards comes the sneaky little arrogant comment that you just had to get in there. The one where you had to smirk and hoped it wouldn’t get caught. Well I guess the House doesn’t always win.
Really?! You just had to get that in there didn’t you?! For what purpose other to make yourself feel important like you accomplished something.
Nah Gabby at least I am not so backhanded with it. I will still run my mouth to the very end because that’s what I do. Even when Kenzi beat me I still ran my mouth because that’s what I have done for the past 12 years so why change now? It may be idiotic. It may make me look stupid. Hell I know it annoys the living hell out of you when I pop that noise that I claim I am from Detroit but I start reppin Los Angeles.
But truth be told it’s what I have done for years! What do you think happens when I compete in Mexico City where I graduated from my father’s school?! What do you think happens when I go to San Juan and fight there in front of my Grandmother?
The fact is when you are wrestling for a big growing company like LAW you just aren’t fighting for one city. You are wrestling for different cities across the United States, and in your case you are the God Damn World Champion. You are the face of the company. You shouldn’t just have to settle down for one place but it’s your job to be that individual in every single city that the company goes too.
By all means if I have to go of the way of the cheap pop to put asses in the seats and sell tickets by all means. I am going to do exactly that. But you haven’t understood that concept about wrestling because your head is so far up your ass about your own ego. Getting all pumped like you are untouchable. Telling people that shit isn’t going to happen. They won’t win…
But when they do you have to tread back and say how they were better then you but you will get back what you lost! And you want it back now!
Damn always coming for somebodies neck when it suits you. You were quick on that rematch clause weren’t you against Keira? Because in those brief two weeks. You weren’t the champion.
You were mighty quick to get back that title.
And we get it.. .We can respect that drive to get back to the top but don’t try to pass off somebody else at being salty for other stuff when you had it right in your eyes. All because the spotlight was on somebody else, that’s really pathetic.
I know one of the biggest concerns of everyone was how could I sit back and let Kenzi just have her way after she beat me. It wasn’t so much of a case of me trying to complain about her cheating. It’s more of a case that I just let her say and do whatever she wants and people question why?
Why don’t I want my daughter to become just like her?
That’s because Kenzi represents where I was in this sport about seven years ago. About being cut throat. She took me down and now she has all the bragging rights in the world and you know what? She did something with that. She used that motivation and she became a champion because of it. So she took a first small step and made a leap out of it.
And now look at her. She’s the woman everybody wants to beat down. Got people from other companies wanting to come in to take her out. But she defends her crown, and regardless she will still talk the talk because she can walk to walk.
What she has is something called star power and I can’t really talk shit about her when she reminds me of myself. But you know what your biggest problem is Gabby?
When it comes to the Pink Ladies, or me, or Kenzi, or anything like that? You are upset because we know how to make a company all about us. We get people talking. We get the locker room talking, and people are mighty quick to talk from afar.
OHHHHH here we go again! I could sense the amount of frustration emerging from people like you and you want to know why?
It’s because we know what it takes to grab onto the spotlight. We know how to get people talking about the company and there be no belt involved and that hurts you. It cuts you deep.
Hell as much as you want to shit on me just basing it off of what you said about me. You obviously know my entire life story. Maybe I should call CTN up on the phone get someone like Kenzi Grey to play me in a movie, and put my life story on the big screen. Title it Seeing Crystal Clear the continuation of Silver Linings. Probably be a big hit considering someone like you knows my life story and seems so invested in it. I bet it would be a box office hit.
I guess I am doing something right because you wanted me to fight. Out of everybody in this company you feel the need to prove something to me. So as much as I might be a train wreck obviously I must be doing something right by painting myself a target in this company. Hell maybe Kate, and Kenzi are also doing something right because they are doing the same exact thing.
Thank you so much Gabby! Because when the World Champion is buying what I am selling.
It lets me know that I am doing my job in this company. Obviously you have been paying attention to me. All because of you I think more of my merchandise is flying off of the shelf. Those bargain bin movies are being bought out with the intention for me to autograph them. Thank you so much! It means the world.
I just wish that the thanks went both ways, and I just want you to appreciate me as much as I appreciate you! Remember our four on four match when I was a part of Team Camacho?! And I got eliminated quickly by Wendy House?! In like 18 seconds… Well despite being eliminated out of the equation. I still was a team player.
I still came through for our team. I helped eliminate that crazy psychotic woman with a shovel after I had been eliminated. I caused her to get counted and because of what I did it took her out of the equation. One thing led to another and you went on to beat Kate. It allowed you to pick the stipulation for your big title defense against her.
So where was my thank you card? Where was my forget me not? You really did me dirty out there. Because of me you got to defend your belt in a match that suited you.
But it never came because out of everyone you are the one that’s fake Camacho. In your match with Mindy Santiago right before this one you were so quick to try to tell everyone that you don’t have to talk down any Detroit team because I rep another city, and the only sport that matters is this one because of what you have.
And I would take you seriously but even that must be a load of bullshit when the first thing out of your mouth when it comes in regards to me is a Kobe Bryant reference followed by a Mark Sanchez reference. I guess even the mighty Camacho has to get put in her place sometimes.
Trying to talk up how much ammo she got in the magazine. Is she sure she didn’t have the safety on?
Making a novice mistake I would have respected it more if it came half way in her speech but when she comes out with it right off the bat. Making herself look stupid going against what she said in her last promo just to start off her new one with that. She just makes it too easy.
I get it… I honestly do…You tried to come out the gate look all hard. Get me all startled with your heavy offensive attack because there’s no doubt in my mind when it comes to trash talk you are by far the best. Hands down I give you that…
But I thought that we learned from that mistake during the 2003 super bowl. That the best offense gets stopped no destroyed when it goes against the best defense… You know when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers absolutely demolished the Raiders… I mean you are a true fan you should remember it right? After all that’s your team.
Should I start tweeting sit down?! Hell where’s that trash can emojii time to put Camacho where she belongs!
Oh shit!!!
Damn it!
I guess I did it…
I said I wasn’t going to talk about sports and I just did, but then again seeing as you said that everything me was fake to begin with which includes my word. Did you truly believe me?
As I always said I am no hero. I am more of an antihero and anything I do when it comes to what I do inside of that wrestling ring is to suit me and me alone.
The only reason why you had ammo to begin with is because I throw myself out there. I put myself out in the open to give people something to try to take me down with. Things get heated. My name becomes talked about and with the snap of a finger I become a target.
It’s exciting honestly because that means I am the person that everybody wants to beat. I am the one they have their sights locked on taking down, and you Camacho even for you it’s no different. Because now you have built up this sense of security that you just need to beat me! That you have to beat me! That you must beat me, for what purpose?
You are doing it to shut me up so that I could learn some lesson but whatever this lesson is I am still going to do me at the end of the day. Get back up and talk shit some more because I am not going to let one lost define my whole career. Let’s get that corrected right now.
If I did when I was in the midst of being on my severe losing streak I would have been crying woe is me. Or what have you but no… I stepped up… After those six months of losing every match. After being given my first win because of you in that four on four match, and being gift wrapped two other wins by my daughter in my matches with her and Alexis Blake. I still stepped up.
I stepped up to win the Queen of the Ring. I stumbled against Kenzi but I stepped back to win that triple threat match, and at Night of Glory I am going to step up to beat you!
I know damn well what’s at stake in this match with you, and I also know that I have what it takes to beat you. Yes this is all about the title but a title doesn’t define me as a wrestler, and I won’t let it.
If you are looking for someone who doesn’t give a damn about an opponent look over at Amy Jo Smyth’s Twitter account. The moment she lost to me she was all bored by the fact she had to face Mindy. Wasn’t even interested, and that’s something you don’t get with me because I will make something out of nothing and make it into a classic.
As good as you might think you are the fact still remains that I have beaten you twice in this company. When you lost your title and got beat in back to back Marquee title matches with Nyako. When it didn’t even mean anything I just went out there and beat Nyako. I beat the champion.
Same way you struggled to beat Chacalita I got the victory over her. Two people that you had issues in fighting I simply won.
But I guess that doesn’t equate to a good work effort. I guess it means nothing after all I don’t like to work. That in itself is a stupid comment considering this journey to even get to this very first main event has been a three year journey.
A three year journey of watching my sister in law compete for something I wanted only for me to start back at the bottom.
A three year journey that saw me receive a Marquee shot at Mackenzie for beating you only to go back to the bottom.
A journey that saw me at my lowest when every single friend walked away from me as Wendy made me her bitch in a match I came up with.
But no matter how much I have been sent down. No matter how much I have been down and out I have always found my way. Found a way to dust myself off and go back at it again because I am willing to work for the things I want. Despite you thinking elsewise.
For the sake of LAW I have always been the person that they needed me to be. When shit was growing a brew I had to put myself into that good girl role to stop the onslaught. When they needed a villain to shake things up I became that too.
I have always used my share of acting skills to be whoever is needed in order for the betterment of the company but as I stand here and am about to engage in a battle with you.
The masks can come off and I am free to be myself. I am free to be who I really want to be and that’s the LAW World Champion.
Since this match was announced you have called me an attention whore. You have called me a bitch numerous times and honestly it’s whatever, but the kind of shit I won’t put up with is you shitting on the Millar name when my husband did nothing to you. I won’t let you shit on the name of Williams as that’s a slap in the face to my little girl and my sister in law.
And I won’t let you stomp on the name of Hilton. It’s one thing if I make a train wreck out of a name but I am not going to let someone else stomp all over my legacy and that’s what I have an issue with.
This championship means absolutely everything to me. Do you think I want to spend another three years having to work my way up the ladder just to get another crack at a title?
No… I really don’t… If it comes down to it I will work because that’s what I always do but why should I be forced to do so when I can win this match that is right in front of me? Everything that I ever wanted is dangling right in front of me like a carrot on a stick. I just need to reach out and grab it.
I remember last year when I was in this same exact situation. It was over in FFW when I walked into one of their Pay Per Views with their very best and as good as I was it just wasn’t enough and it was one of the worse things that I have ever experienced in my life.
But I refuse to be denied because a year later in LAW I will not have that happened again. I will take that championship away from you. I will put every single inch of myself into this match in order to best you, and I know it’s going to be worth it.
It will be worth every single inch of my body and well deserved.
As your World Champion I will go around and run my mouth. I will show the title off because I am the champion and more importantly than that. I want to be a target because I want all of the challengers to come after me. I will also be on all the talk shows. All the special guest appearances will come where I show off my nicely won title and giving people a reason to join the company.
If they don’t like what I have to say then by all means come to LAW and come shut me up. It as simple as that and at the end of the day, that’s what it is all about.
Getting more people to line up and join the company. Getting people to see what they and letting them who the face of the company is. Who the woman at the top of the helm is, as much as you complain about what, Kenzi, Kate and I do.
Truth be told and shout out to Kenzi especially. She is doing what is needed to make this company thrive. She has become the target of everyone’s frustration. Everybody is lining up wanting to take her down a peg and that was before she was even a champion. Now that she is one she has a bigger reason to brag.
Gabby that should have been you! That’s what you should have been doing al along but you don’t. You sit on your ass and it’s like you don’t have time to promote the fucking company, but you have time to throw up your #FujikoFriday pictures. You have time to do it over and over again sometimes in sets of four, and even have time to tell Cordy not to get into trouble and what not.
That’s your thing but as much as I throw myself out there you will hear me talking up myself. Or this title or that title, and I do it on a weekly basis. Hell you said I do it quite often and that’s because I know that I am a wrestler first and foremost.
Two weeks until a title defense I don’t have to stick my head out ready to just talk shit, talking up like I am finally ready to do this. I am ready to do this thing on every single day that ends in the letter y.
I am ready to put it all on the line every single day, and will talk it up every single day because that’s what I do. You don’t like it? By all means take me down. Do what you said you were going to do.
But this isn’t like the movies. One can’t simply just duck and weave every other week until its title match time. You can’t simply stick your head out and expect to take punches to the face like Rocky Balboa.
You do that and somebody will check your chin and knock your ass out. I think it’s time to put you in check. Actually I rather seal the deal and end this once and for all consider it checkmate.
Through hell or high water I will become the champion at Night of Glory. My career in this company hasn’t been the best or most consistent by any means.
You want a factual statement?!
When it comes to competing in front of the bright lights with the spotlights beaming on me at the biggest show of the year in LAW I am flawless. I am undefeated and you haven’t done so well at the big show. You have always crumbled under the pressure.
So why should any of that change now?!
History is set to repeat itself so why should it be different now?!
I have nothing to lose and everything to gain, and everything is reversed for you. Will you come through in the clutch. I don’t want much for my birthday. The greatest gift I could ever receive is what is around your waist and I will take it from you whether you like it or not.
And after I do you can go back to sitting down or maybe you might be crying for a rematch clause because the spotlight is elsewhere.
After all that’s the nature of being Gabby Camacho is it not?
No matter what happens. This is one rose that refuses to wither away. I will keep on blossoming because that’s what I have always done so why should I change for anyone?
Lights…
Camera…
Action…
It’s Showtime are you ready for it?
Are you ready to witness the era of the SILVER SCREEN QUEEN?!
I hope you are because I will show LAW how a World Champion is supposed to conduct themselves and the best way I can do that is beating you right smack dab in the middle of the ring.
I’ll see you there…
November 22nd
Los Angeles, California
