Welcome to...
Hiya guys and gals!
This is Carmen Diaz, LAW's lead interviewer, and once again I bring you "Carmen's Corner". I know it's been a while since my last one, but these will now be every other week. So here goes.
News and Updates:
LAW Validation is in the books, and we thanks everyone who participated and helped make it a success.
LAW has signed on Ash Scion, Sidney Grey, Jenny Tuck, and Gabriella Camacho. We will all 4 of these ladies the best of luck during their time in LAW.
LAW has had to release the Circus of Madness for failing to meet booking obligations.
LAW's next ippv "Queen of the Ring" will be a one-night tournament, and the winner will face the LAW World champion, and the loser of the finals will face the Marquee champion.
LAW #7 Review
The first post-Validation show went down and there were 4 huge match, that will have some serious implications on the future here in LAW.
Zelda Knite and Skye Sparks, collectively known as EMF won the LAW Tag team titles at Validation in a 4 team elimination tournament. The team they beat in the finals, The Doc and Cindy Warren, were looking to avenge those losses in singles action. Doc took on Skye Sparks, and despite a lack of wrestling experience, Doc managed to sneak by Skye will a roll up victory.
Kate Steele, our LAW World Champion, fresh of defeating Sin at Validation, fought a tough match again the up and coming Faith, part of Femme Fatale. Kate did get the victory in the end, but it just goes to show exactly the caliber of competition that exists in LAW.
After Doc beat Skye Sparks, Cynthia Warren was looking to make it a clean sweep against Zelda Knite, but Zelda is one of the best around for a reason and took down Cynthia. It's hard to tell if Doc and Cynthia gained any ground against EMF.
And in the strange bedfellows match, The Aphrodite who defeated Sarah Gordon at Validation, was forced to team with her against Crystal Hilton and Violet, who also faced off at Validation. It was clear that neither team was too thrilled to work together, and it played out when Aphrodite left Sarah high and dry to be beaten by Crystal and Violet. But things were not friendly on that side either, as Violet put the finishing touches on Sarah, but Crystal tagged herself in and stole the pin.
LAW #8 Preview:
My goodness things are getting interesting now. LAW #8 is a PACKED show with 3 debuts coming!
Jenny Tuck vs. Danica Jones
Jenny is a much traveled wrestler. Her reputation is pretty solid, and thus far Danica's career in LAW has been disappointing. If Danica doesn't get herself out of this funk she's in, she's forever going to be a stepping stone around here.
Ash Scion vs. Haruna Sakazaki
Ash is debuting here, and we've heard a lot about her, and we're excited to see what she can do. But Haruna is not a pushover, and she will push Ash to her limits in what should be an exciting match.
Sidney Grey vs. Angel Kash
Sidney is truly a blast from the past! She's already been making waves proclaiming her awesomeness and legendary status, but talk will only get you so far. Angel Kash is a tough customer, so we'll see if the older lady wrestler still has it.
The Doc vs. Crystal Hilton
The Doc is getting better week in and week out. She pulled off an upset over Skye last week, and this week her competition level goes way up when she faces Crystal Hilton. But with Crystal's actions last week, will Violet have something to say or do in retaliation?
EMF vs. Femme Fatale
Femme Fatale didn't exactly have a great week last week, but in the end, Aphrodite saw to it that Sarah Gordon was taken out while she got away. Femme Fatale have proven to be tough, and dangerous, so EMF will have their work cut out for them.
Kate Steele vs. Violet
Now we get to find out, who exactly is the top champion in LAW! Violet has been defeating opponents left and right, and her dangerous "the third" alter-ego has brutalized opponents when all else fails. Kate Steele has been getting her victories as well, but now both will have a major test in each other. Who walks away with the bragging rights?
All that, and Roxi Johnson and Keira Fisher will be in the house to address the fans. What else could happen?
Closing:
Once again, thanks to everyone who made L.A.W #7 possible, and who keep us alive and growing.
Thanks goes out to our friends and affiliates: The WWO alliance, Sin City Wrestling, Boardwalk Wrestling, and 4 Corners Wrestling.
And from Lucas and Nicole Dupree thank you's go out to all the female wrestling talent that have spread the word about L.A.W on social media, and those who follow us.
For the crew running L.A.W., I'm Carmen Diaz, and I'll see you here next time on Carmens Corner.
