This is my new home. The last place I worked, didn't quite work out. For a variety of reasons, but to be honest, I never felt like that place was a fit for me. I truly felt like kind of an outsider. I wasn't with the crews or cliques, I was pretty much alone, relying on some friends that I made over time. But still, it was alien to me.
Now, I feel like I'm in a place where I can flourish. LAW seems like a great place for me to start all over. I see the array of talent here, and I can only hope to prove myself this week against Aphrodite.
I don't know much about Aphrodite, although I have watched the film on her in the ring, and I'm confident that I can beat her. Honestly, I'm confident I can beat anybody, but that instilled in from a young age. I know Aphrodite is tough, and I know she's beaten a lot of people here in LAW, people I know, and people I've heard of. So I know this will be a huge task. And it's my debut. But I never asked for this to be easy, and obviously, it won't be, but I'm ready.
I am prepared for every possible thing that might happen. I know that Aphrodite has Faith in her corner, but that's not going to deter me. I'm here for one reason. To win. And that starts on Sunday with Aphrodite. I know it will be a tough match, but I'm ready.
Here's to a successful debut.
Here's to new beginnings and fresh starts.
I have a feeling that LAW is exactly what I need to be successful.
The rain beat down in Cali last week, not that that ever stopped me from getting to the gym. I always loved the gym. I love fitness, I love being a shape. That was instilled in my during my time in the Army. I spent 8 long years busting my ass for my country, and after doing that, It was my dream to be a pro wrestler. So, I would obviously have to keep myself in shape to make that happen.
I hit the gym like I always did, and walked by Reggie the front desk guy. He smiled as I walked by, he and I had become fast friends, mainly because a lot of the time we were the only two in the gym. It was 24hrs, and I for one, always enjoyed working out at all hours.
I opened the locker and put my stuff in, put in my headphones, and it was time to get to work. I worked long and hard, getting my workout in, as another guy entered the gym. I had never seen him before, but he obviously was hitting the gym for a long time. I'm not going to lie, he was really i shape. He looked good. I've always had a thing for fit guys, so I may have been staring for a little bit.
I walked by Reggie when my workout was over, and I still couldn't help but watch as it seemed that the new guy was just getting started. He was pounding those weights. I asked Reggie about the new guy, and he told me the guy's name was Cassius, and he had just started coming during the overnights. I got my stuff and left, and I think Cassius may have smiled at me.
I went home and stared out my window, and to my surprise, in the rain, right now the road from where I live, was Cassius, doing a tire flip in his front yard. Again, I couldn't help but stare. The dude looked good, and he lived right down the road from me.
I think he might have caught me staring again. I felt like such a creeper.
But soon, I would have to catch a flight, headed to Grand rapids, to prepare for my LAW debut. To say I was excited, was a bit of an understatement.
