The scene opens up with Miyoko Oshiro walking down near the campus of the University of Texas with her college friend Samantha. It’s a hot, Austin day and both girls look exhausted.
Samantha: Are you really not returning to school?
Miyoko Oshiro: Yeah, I’m really not returning for classes. I’ve made up my mind and pro wrestling is what I want to do.
Samantha: Won’t your dad be mad that you aren’t going back to school?
Miyoko Oshiro: He is but he also understands that the passion to be in this business flows through me just like it flows through him. He is just happy that I found something that I am passionate about.
Samantha: I bet it’s nice to be back state side isn’t it?
Miyoko Oshiro: I don’t know, I really did enjoy the six months I spent in Japan working on my craft. I did get to see my mom for the first time in three or four years.
Samantha: Oh yeah, I forgot that she lives over there still. How is she doing?
Miyoko Oshiro: She is doing well, she misses being able to see me all the time but she did say something about her coming over to watch my LAW debut match. Heck I think by this time she is in Denver already. It will be nice to see her again and hopefully I can do her proud.
Samantha: I wouldn’t really worry about it Miyoko, you are one of the most psycho wrestlers I have ever seen, and I mean that in the nicest way possible.
Miyoko Oshiro: I know that you mean well when you say that and I know that I can be a little crazy but look at who my dad is. He is one of the biggest powerhouse wrestlers to ever compete in the business and I have basically tried to emulate that style but in a much smaller size. People look at me and think that I will fly high or mat wrestle because I’m so small but honestly I want to go out and physically dominate my opponent even though I will more than likely be smaller than her.
Samantha: True, have you ever wrestled in Colorado before?
Miyoko Oshiro: No I haven’t but I heard that the fans there are freaking insane. My dad and Fergus have both said that they might be the most passionate fans that I will ever wrestle in front of.
Samantha: I didn’t really mean about the fans, I was more meaning the altitude.
Miyoko Oshiro: Oh, yeah I really haven’t thought much about the altitude at all or change up my training to counter act the fact about me being at higher altitude.
Samantha: I think what everyone says about the altitude having that much of an effect on people is just a myth.
Miyoko Oshiro: I don’t, I have wrestled people who were born in, lived in and trained in Colorado and when they come down to sea level they are almost unstoppable because they are some of the strongest fighters I have seen in the high altitude and when they come down to sea level they can fill up with so much air and they don’t get tired quite as often. I’m just hoping that opponent hasn’t be training for the high altitude or I might be in a world of hurt come Sunday.
Samantha: When are you flying out to Denver?
Miyoko Oshiro: My flight leaves in 5 hours, hey I forgot to ask you this before. Do you want to go to Denver with me and see me fight?
Samantha’s eyes get wide
Samantha: Yes I would love to see you wrestle in person since I haven’t been able to do that before but I don’t have a lot of money right now to buy a plane ticket.
Miyoko Oshiro: Don’t worry about it, we will be flying out on my dad’s private jet.
Samantha: That’s even cooler, oh my God, I’ve never been on a private jet before. This is so freaking exciting.
Miyoko Oshiro: You aren’t going to hyperventilate and pass out on the plane are you?
Samantha: No, that only happened the one time and that was seriously the first time I was ever on a plane.
Miyoko Oshiro: Yeah, but that was also only six weeks ago, you better get it under control because if we make a mess on his plane he will make us clean it up.
Samantha: You are joking right? Doesn’t he have people to clean the plane?
Miyoko Oshiro: He does but he also says that if people get on sick on his plane they are the ones who have to clean it up.
Samantha looks like she is starting to lose it even more and looks like she is going to be sick.
Miyoko Oshiro: Samantha, calm down, I was only joking. Please don’t be sick, I know for a fact that if you were to get sick, my dad wouldn’t make you clean up the plane that was a joke.
Samantha: Okay, I’m sorry for getting so worked up. I’ll do a better job getting my anxiety under control.
The scene fades out and the back in with Miyoko and Samantha sitting on Markus Reeve’s personal jet, it has all the luxuries that people come to expect in modern private jets. Samantha is looking a couple of pages in a binder.
Samantha: This chick seems to be kind of scary Miyoko, I mean I would be worried if I was facing someone whose nickname is “The Korean Natural Disaster.”
Miyoko Oshiro: I know you are worried for me but I can’t be worried about what they call her and stuff like that, it’s my job not to be afraid of people bigger or in this case possibly crazier than I am. I’m actually excited to be facing her, she may be bigger than me but is seems like our styles are pretty similar. I’ve never faced someone who is going to try and overpower me before but since that style is my style too I should have a pretty good idea of what she is going to do.
Samantha: Being bigger than you is a freaking understatement. She has six inches and fifteen pounds on you.
Miyoko Oshiro: That’s nothing, I faced this one lady in Japan back in February. She was six foot eight and weight close to four-hundred pounds. I eventually beat her but she was difficult to fight, luckily it was a hardcore match so I could start wearing her down with chairs and other weapons. Only six inches taller and fifteen pounds is nothing. We are pretty much the same kind of fighter, this is really exciting. I can’t wait to land in Denver and I can’t wait for Sunday night.
Samantha: I’m glad you are excited but I still just don’t want you to get hurt by this chick.
Miyoko Oshiro: Don’t worry about me Samantha, this is the one thing in the world that I love more than anything in the world. I know the risks that are involved but if I let those risks control me or I would be a pretty terrible pro wrestler. I’m going to go out and do what I do and I’m going to beat Nyoko and I’m going to finally make a name for myself in the United States.
Samantha: I’m so proud of you Miyoko.
The scene fades out.
