"The Rundown" Episode 1 (NoG2)

THE RUNDOWN

The scene opened inside a massive theater room where Kenzi Grey and Alizé Platinum were sitting side by side in large overstuffed theater seats. Between then sat a giant bowl of popcorn, soda, and bowls of candy. The angle was shot from behind the two girls and on the screen was a replay of Ladies All-Star Wrestling Night of Glory 2.

As the intro plays, the two girls clap and cheer, then as the respective packages of the current feuds run Kenzi nearly spits out her drink onto the floor as she bursts out into a fit of laughter.

She looks over at Alizé as she grabs the remote and pauses the screen as it shows highlights of Kate Steele, Mackenzie Roberts, Skye Sparks, The AoV, and the A-listers. “Al! you see that shit? They actually got the AoV on television again! Man…I thought the only place you could find those bitches was on the backs of fucking milk cartons!”

Kenzi bursts into a fit of laughter.

Alizé picked up a hand full of popcorn and started popping them in her mouth one at a time as she shook her head slightly.

“Didn’t dem heifers like get ran out of here? Wasn’t that skank ass Kate Steele part of ‘em too? Man B keeps provin’ it’s best not to get in a crew with her cause you’ll end up missin’ or forgotten. Course they were more like the Age of Silence anyway. Bitches were a lot of empty threats and nothin’ else. “

She popped the last piece in her mouth before grabbing up another handful.

Kenzi shook her head in agreement. “Kate Steele is the most full of shit person in all of LAW!” She rolled her eyes as she continued watching the show. Troy Franklin and Duke King hit the highlights as the first matches were about to begin. Kenzi turned to Alizé. “Okay…the earth gets hit by a meteor and you Troy and Duke are the last people left on the planet. Which one do you sleep with?”

Alize thought for a second, then a grin crossed her face. “As much as I like dark chocolate, I think Troy would do anything to keep me happy. I bet ho don’t get much play as it is. Duke, you know he got groupies fien’ for him. Troy though I think will put in the extra work just to make sure I’m satisfied. Course honestly, if Lucas was in the mix all bets are off.”

She looked over and Kenzi.  "What about you?  Or are you just into Asian cuisine?"

Kenzi shot Alizé a dirty glance at the ‘Asian’ reference, knowing she was referring to her recent infatuation with Alex Yin. She shook her head, blowing off the comment. “Yeah, you funny!” She thought for a second, then answered. “Troy is okay…but I think he is hiding something…I got the feeling he’d be more into Duke than even I would! I hate to get in the middle of some shit with him! I think Duke and I would have to get rid of his ass!” The two girls high fived as they laughed.

They watched as the first match went down between Joanna and Madison. They were five minutes into the match when Kenzi turned to Alizé with a confused look on her face. “Who in the hell is Madison? Does she work for this company or was she just in the ring when Joanna came down?”

“Girl, you know LAW is full of lil’ girls tryin’ to act all big and bold, but then when they got to step I nthe ring they puss out. It’s no wonder tired hoes like Comacho, Steele, and chicks like them are still around. Most of these others ain’t about shit.”

Alizé popped more of the popcorn in her mouth.

Kenzi nodded in agreement as they finished the match, watching as Joanna when down in defeat. Kenzi shook her head. “I can’t believe this chick! All she does is talk about going on the hunt, but she spends more time pinned to the mat than she doesn’t actually wrestling on it!”

Kenzi was being a bit meaner than she ordinarily would have been, especially after seeing her with Alex right after the show ended. She grabbed a handful of popcorn and angrily stuffed it into her mouth. “I can’t stand her ass!”

“Man you had ol’ girl goin’ in ALCW though. She actually thought you were gonna team up with her. Of course I never thought she was high on brains.”

Alizé snorted to herself. “You know what group se be good for though. LAW’s own JOB squad. Heck I’m sure they’d have plenty of members in it. Who knows they might actually be able to rival us.” Alizé busted out laughing not being able to keep a straight face. “Man I can’t even get through hthat with out crackin’ up.”

Kenzi snorted and almost spit out her soda as she laughed. “Yeah…RIGHT!”

The two girls continued watching with particular interest when tag team action was next. The Naughty Girls took on the Sisterhood. Both girls seemed to be studying each moment of this match, watch both teams and taking note of their tendencies. “I can’t believe they put these garbage hoes on the show instead of us! We are a 100 times better than these four clowns! We were one move away from competing for the titles…and we are off the show…FOR THIS?!”

Kenzi threw a handful of popcorn at the screen. “Some more awesome booking by General Manager Piss!” She chuckled, “Aint got to worry about that shit no more! Soon, we’ll get back to doing our thing in that ring…Al…we are going to show these clowns what real tag team wrestling is all about!”

“You know they be hatin’ on your girls. They ain’t want us to embarrass the rookies or the talentless-in-laws. Hell I remember watchin’ em’ McDonald chicks comin’ in LAW tryin’ to turn heads and yet…”

Alizé looked at Kenzi again. “This show is full of losers ain’t it? It’s gonna be the same song and dance over and over again. Us watching chicks who can’t even be on our level, gettin’ on the show while we had to sit on the sidelines. Can’t we fast forward to what matters the most. You know, us clownin’ the fool in LAW. “

Kenzi smirked as she picked up the remote, “You right!” She fast forwarded past the end of the match that saw Sisterhood lose. Even as she did it, she wished that it had been them in the ring against anyone that night, it didn’t matter. As the women flew by the screen at light speed, she paused it when she saw Jade. “Hey…aint that yo’ Mama?!”

Kenzi snickered as she stared at Alizé with a grin.

“Chick please…” Alizé said putting her hand up in Kenzi’s face. “See here is another example of bitches poppin’ off but when they get a chance to shine they disappear. I’m tellin’ you. Let me at Lucas and I’ll be damn sure we be on every show. I’d have him so sprung he’d be beggin’ us to main event everything.”

Kenzi grinned as she listened to Alizé. Certainly, that had a nice ring to it, but she knew that they would have to fight their way onto a prime spot on the main roster and they’d have to do it soon by making an impact. She turned her attention back to the screen just as Jade fell victim to a reversal and Michelle nailed her with her finisher and pinned her shoulders to the mat.

Kenzi shook her head, “Dang Al! Yo’ Mama just took a hot one to the ass from that chick whose last name looks like a Sony PlayStation logo! At least Jade redeems herself later in the show.” Kenzi reflects quietly for a moment, “It’s like a story of loss and triumph…I can smell another Hollywood block buster in the making!”

Alizé flips Kenzi off and she chuckles as she grabs another fistful of popcorn. Both girls grew quiet as they watched Oni come to the ring to warn anyone who was thinking they were going to be part of the lumberjill match to reconsider. As she proclaimed that she was ‘LAW’ Violet appeared on the screen and set the record straight about who was really running LAW.

As Violet’s two masked accomplices stuck their heads into the frame, Kenzi sat forward with a grin. “I bet the idiots in LAW were rubbing their dirty little hands together when they thought that DoA was going to get involved in that match against Oni. What a bunch of idiots!”

"Oni ain't losin' crap until she be good and ready to. They must be so butthurt right now. Hopin' we do their dirty work for them. I'd almost feel bad for them," Alizé said looking at Kenzi, "If they weren't a bunch of stuck up punk bitches that is."

Alizé turned her attention back to the tv. "Besides who the hell wants that nerdy geek Jenny Williams as champ. I don't even know how she made it to the math. It shows how weak the competition in LAW is if she's the best they got to offer as a contender. No wonder they wanted us to take Oni out for them. That would have been the only way Williams woulda won."

The next match starts up and Alizé face twist up in disgust. "Who the hell are these chicks.?! Again nobodies get on the show and we don't get crap. I'm telling you girl. They be hatin' on us hard. How much you wanna bet we ain't seein' the inside of the ring until the new year. Meanwhile jail bait and blonde bimbo take our time in the ring."

Kenzi watched as Taryn Willow squared off with Jocelyn Ray. “I’m not so sure about Taryn…she’s kinda cool…not that I wouldn’t rather be on the show than watch her. Still…she’s been doing her thing out there. To tell the truth though…if you ask me, it’s because she’s all out there on Twitter showing all the goodies every day!” Kenzi finished off her soda and reached for another one. “They say it’s about the wrestling, but I know that it’s about all the extra stuff…showing your ass and tits for the fans.”

Kenzi grinned as she leaned over and looked at Alizé. “We should do one of those Playboy spreads! I bet we’d be in a damn title match the next week!”

On the screen, the match ended as Taryn pulled Jocelyn down and yanked on her pants as she held her for the pinfall.
