The camera fades in to show the three women of The Triad standing backstage at LAW42 moments after making their surprise appearance. All three women are still in their robes with gold charms around their necks. Their hoods are dropped back revealing their faces as they are approached for an interview.
Interviewer: Excuse me, ladies, I needed to get a word with each of you tonight about your appearance on tonight's show. I'd like to start with the most impactful member in regard to Jenn Drew, so Amanda Clockworkx, if you wouldn't mind.
Clockworkx: No, not at all.
Clockworkx approaches the camera to comment. She scrunches her long back hair a bit while listening to the questions asked. Her green eyes are gorgeous in the light coming out from the camera as she waits.
Interviewer: The three of you came out and made some bold statements on the show tonight and you went even further and called out the Jenn Drew regarding the championship she holds. We've heard that she's requested you be added to the match at Rising Stars. Comments?
Clockworkx laughs for a moment and rolls her eyes before answering.
Clockworkx: Typical Jenni. She's always got to be on top of things and always has to be the one people talk about and that's why she invented a title belt to carry around. Jenni, you can go around and call yourself a champion all you want, but that belt of yours... It's not even officially recognized by Ladies All Star Wrestling and that makes that belt one thing and one thing only... Scrap metal and leather. Once I face you and take your little pretend belt away from you, that's what I intend to make out of it.
Aimee Hathor approaches and interrupts as the camera pans over to show her now standing beside Amanda.
Aimee: Yes, scrap metal and leather scraps could make all kinds of wonderful clothing accessories and jewelry. Much like how Jenni and Amanda's emotional gifts to each other are now necklaces around our necks.
Interviewer: Amanda, is this true that these necklaces and charms all three of you wear were once gifts between you and Jenn Drew?
The camera pans back over to Amanda who smiles big while giving her answer.
Clockworkx: You know, at first, I thought my answer to this question would be none of anybody's business, but after Aimee went ahead and pretty much told you, I can't do any other damage other than what is already done. Yes, I had these necklaces made from gifts that I shared with Jenni at one time. Yes, it's a very cruel joke to play on her, cruel for her, a joke for us because each time we come out to the ring, she will have to see these necklaces and be reminded of what I did with our precious gifts. Much like what I did to our love when I told her not to bother coming home to me and that we were over.
Interviewer: So, you broke it off with her.
Clockworkx: Yes, it was my decision and Jenni had no choice in the matter.
Interviewer: Do you think she still has feelings for you, then?
Amanda Clockworkx looks upward for a moment while smiling and almost laughing again.
Clockworkx: Oh, I have no doubt she does. That's evident in how she acts toward me especially tonight with putting me into the match. Jenni, hun, don't flatter yourself. You may have it in your head that this match for your belt is going to fix things somehow, but there is much more to go on between the two of us in LAW before everything is settled. Maybe this is your last ditch effort to touch my body again.
Amanda stops talking for a moment to gather her thoughts...
Clockworkx: Also, your open flirting is rather pathetic. No matter what you do, it will never make me jealous of you because I know you. I know what you are all about, your strengths, your weaknesses, in the ring, out of the ring...
Interviewer: Speaking of open flirting, your other opponent will be the woman who came out and challenged Jenn Drew receiving a slap on the ass before you and the other Triad members made their appearance. Lots of speculation is going around that she and Jenn may be an item or at least messing around. What comments do you have regarding Samantha Tolson.
Clockworkx: Samantha Tollhouse--
Rayne Daise comes up to the camera as it pans over and she has a slightly annoyed look on her face.
Rayne: Manders, don't you even call her that. Remember that I am the one who gets wrestler names wrong on purpose, not you.
Rayne exits off camera as it pans back to Amanda and she continues.
Clockworkx: Samantha Tolson calls herself a wrestler who has no gimmick. Judging from her actions on Twitter, letting Jenn and others openly hit on her, and the fact that her moves in-ring consist of aerial, suplexes, and stiff martial arts attacks which were popular several months ago, her no gimmick claim is null and void. This is because to the contrary, she's attempting to be several gimmicks at once and not even the good ones, may I add. She's using the most overplayed gimmicks in this sport and even fails at execution of those gimmicks from what I saw of her so far. Maybe she's no gimmicks needed because of this failure at gimmick execution or because she just couldn't think of a gimmick because of her lack of creativity.
Amanda rolls her eyes and lets a little chuckle escape.
Clockworkx: Then again, maybe it's because she's lacking something that a lot of wrestlers have tons of in LAW. That is charisma. Yes, Samantha Tolson, the wrestler where no gimmicks are needed because no charisma is present. Have you seen her photograph on twitter? Her face even bores me. Look.
Amanda gets her phone out showing the pic as the camera closes in on it.
Clockworkx: What is this? A deer in the headlights?
Amanda looks back at her Triad partners for their input as the camera pans back showing all three women.
Rayne: I'm sorry, did you say something? I fell asleep after you showed me that girl's pic.
Aimee interrupts giving her input.
Aimee: I don't think deer in the headlights per say, I'm thinking more like she's... Constipated? Maybe she's having a little bout with IBS?
Rayne: Maybe diarrhea because she definitely has that "I just crapped my pants" look on her face. Look out for flying poop or running poop is more like it. Good thing women wrestlers wear stockings with their outfits when they don't have the normal pants style wrestling gear. That will just trap all that in so if you see anything brown and sagging, just hand her over to Jenn.
Aimee: Is Jenn into that stuff, that's so gross!
Amanda interrupts the girls gaining control of her interview.
Clockworkx: Girls, girls, girls... Argue all that later on, I'm doing an interview here!
The camera pans back and closes in on Amanda as she turns to address the viewing audience.
Clockworkx: You know, IBS may not be too far off the mark... Samantha may actually suffer from this, but not the IBS people normally suffer. Allow me to elaborate... Samantha makes a lot of claims such as the one we already covered of "no gimmicks needed." She also claims to be an in-your-face wrestler, but the only face she's ever gotten into was Jenn's tonight to challenge for the title. I watched her match against Kayla Winters and it was almost one-sided while her opponent... Let me reiterate this... Samantha's OPPONENT was relentless with her assault in that match. Samantha did win the match executing some elbows, a Russian Leg Sweep, a signature, and a finisher, but if it was decided by points, she would have lost because Kayla almost dismembered her in the ring that night. IBS, it's all IBS because while Samantha claims what she does all I hear from her is "IBS." The only thing she's worse is her use of the mic.
Interviewer: What do you mean exactly?
Clockworkx: Well have you seen or heard this girl on the mic yet? I haven't. She came out to challenge Jenn for her belt and the best way to have your voice heard is to pick up that mic and come on out. What did she do in the ring instead? Sign language... Samantha can argue that she was not talking because her actions speak louder than her words, but I just covered how great her action is in the ring, so that argument has zero validity at this point. I think she's just hiding that she has no mic skills and, as stated already, no charisma. Do you know what all of the fans will actually remember from her confrontation with Jenni? Only that Jenni is giving her a title shot and that Samantha got her rear end slapped on television. Do you want to be that girl, Samantha? Do you want to be known as that girl Jenn slapped on the keister and kissed on the cheek? You do know she was insulting and degrading you in the public's eyes, right? Signifying her dominance over you? Of course you don't, we already saw your Twitter photograph and deer in the headlights is all you are..
Interviewer: Speaking of Jenn and Samantha's interaction in the ring tonight. How does the rising speculation around Jenn and Samantha possibly having a relationship off camera effect you? Any hard feelings?
Amanda smiles hugely looking somewhat annoyed with the question at the same time. After a few seconds, she covers her eyes with her hands and appears to be crying into them while talking.
Clockworkx: Of all the questions you could have asked, this is the one I was hoping you wouldn't. I can deal with her flirting, but it just bothers me so much that the love of my life is so quick to move onto other women like Jenn has done.
Interviewer: I.. I'm sorry for bringing up such a sore subject, Amanda.
Amanda removes her hands showing she was faining the cry and she actually has a smile on her face. She laughs slowly and almost psychotically for a moment before continuing...
Clockworkx: Don't be such an idiot. I dumped Jenni to the curb, not the other way around and that's why it wouldn't hurt me if she pursued someone else and quite frankly, she probably had someone else before she even split up with me. She constantly was leaving to visit her "friends" each week conveniently leaving me behind. I would think if she wanted to just be around those people she'd at least offer to take me with her. Actually, of all of Jenni's dear friends, I've only met one, maybe two.
Amanda composes herself from laughing and immediately displays a serious look.
Clockworkx: BUT... That's neither here, there, anywhere, or even that important anymore. Jenn has shown herself to be either involved with Samantha or at the very least a friend of the girl. The only thing about this that concerns me is that the two may turn this into a two on one match. Rayne Daise over here has an interesting outlook on two on one situations.
The camera pans over as Amanda firmly slaps Rayne in the shoulder while mentioning her name. Rayne holds onto her shoulder immediately afterward.
Rayne: Ouch, dammit, that hurt!
The camera zooms backward showing Aimee approaching Rayne with a scowl on her face.
Aimee: RAYNE, YOU SHUT YOUR SORE MOUTH! You know you don't cuss like that, you've never cussed in your career! Now thanks to you all the kiddies will be walking around saying "dammit" everywhere. Think of the parents...
Rayne: My mouth is not sore, she hit my shoulder. However, kids, don't say that word I just said. Say your prayers, eat your veggies, don't eat yellow snow, don't talk with your mouth full, and drink plenty of water.. Because when it Raynes--
Amanda interrupts pulling the conversation back to the interview while looking at Rayne.
Clockworkx: Rayne, we know... Now, just tell us what you say about battle royals, triple threats, and other matches where you could face an impromptu alliance.
Amanda looks straight at the camera addressing the viewing audience.
Clockworkx: You're gonna love this because it makes perfect sense...
Rayne, who is at the moment still being reprimanded by Aimee, turns to look back at Amanda before speaking.
Rayne: Those types of matches where it's every man or woman for his or herself... When an alliance is formed, the one who always gets the upper hand is the one who turns on his or her friend first.
The camera pans back and tightens in on Amanda once again as she prepares to add to what was said...
Clockworkx: Brilliant and Rayne... Thank you for your knowledge.
Amanda grins for a moment.
Clockworkx: Let's take a moment to analyze what Rayne just said. The upper hand goes to the first person who turns on their friend in the match. Who has a bigger knack for turning on people between the two? My vote goes on my former beloved, Jenni Drew, for that. The point I'm making is that Samantha, you may have put a twinkle in Jenni's eye tonight, but you are not immune to a Jenni Drew double-cross. She will turn on you faster than a car on a dime, so I hope you can see the knife coming while she "has your back" in the match.
Interviewer: Speaking of the match, what do you think of this match and the stipulations?
Once again, the professor smiles at the question presented to her.
Clockworkx: The stipulations are great and work in my favor almost 100%!
Amanda rubs her hands together cynically as she does a fake maniacal laugh...
Interviewer: Care to share why?
Amanda returns to normal composure.
Clockworkx: This match has a thirty minute time limit which means the competitors involved have to be able to last that amount of time. Jenni is really stupid to add this stipulation because she is a high flyer. Samantha utilizes power attacks and slams with some high flying moves which means this stipulation is out of favor for her as well. Do you know what type of wrestler is perfect for this type of stipulation? Someone who can wear down her opponents while conserving her own energy. A submission wrestler. Do you know what type of wrestling technique I utilize? Submission wrestling. I have the ability to outlast my opposition by not flying around or trying to do power moves, but instead grounding and wearing everyone down.
Amanda has a look of satisfaction on her face as she continues.
Clockworkx: The next stipulation is the limit on rope breaks as each wrestler gets a total of five saves from rope breaks before they lose them. Pin attempts can be escaped by a simple kick-out, but once in a submission move, most rely on rope breaks to be released from the hold. As a submission expert, I can burn through each of my opponents' rope breaks very early in the match. This will allow me to rack in victories via submission left and right gaining the lead under the iron woman rules.
Interviewer: What about the twenty second count out rule?
Aimee butts in at this point to add her two cents as the camera pans over to her.
Aimee: Ooh, a count out rule of twenty seconds? I can do A LOT in that extra ten seconds!
The camera moves back over to Amanda.
Clockworkx: My interview, not yours, remember? Now stop interrupting me, Phage.
Aimee: Hey, hey. Not her anymore, I told everyone that tonight.
Amanda rolls her eyes.
Clockworkx: Anyway, the twenty second count out rule can also work in my favor. The extra time, as Aimee stated, does allow for a lot more to be done outside the ring. More specifically, if my opponent is put into a submission move out there, they will only be saved by the count. This makes me even more dangerous as I'm allowed to wear down each of my opponents extremely easily and set them up for, as before stated, submission victories until the cows come home. Jenni Drew is so dumb and she can only blame herself and her leap before thinking attitude for her stupidity.
Amanda smiles as she finishes up.
Clockworkx: Jenni, hun, when you saw me up there on the stage while you were in the ring tonight, you knew you had to take the chance to be the one everyone would talk about. You just had to add me into the match along with Samantha Tolson. Now, you can live with the mistake you've made because I'm not one of those easy opponents you wanted to face when you came up with your title belt. I have no problem playing by your rules because your stipulations only help give me a stronger advantage over you and your new "buddy."
Amanda grabs the mic, pushes the interviewer out of her way, and walks up closer to the camera while adjusting it to her liking.
Clockworkx: And, Jenni, how will you feel when I become the first real champion to your belt? The first one to actually earn the belt rather than having it handed to me? Jenni and Samantha, the hardest thing about our match at Rising Stars will be just figuring out what the championship is even called. Jenni calls it the Puppet Master Championship even though she's the Puppet Mistress, not a master. Ladies All Star Wrestling calls it the Chaos Championship. None of that will matter after our match because after Rising Stars, the championship will cease to exist as I will either rename it, modify it, or leave it like I will leave the two of you... Disassembled and laying broken on the canvas!
Amanda walks over and pushes the mic into the chest of the interviewer before walking off. The camera pans over to Rayne Daise and Aimee Hathor still standing by.
Interviewer: Now, we will go on to the other two members of The Triad, Aimee Hathor and Raise Daise...
The camera cuts to static...
The camera cuts from static to the bedroom of Amanda Clockworkx. The professor sits at a fancy desk in her room wearing a pair of glasses and dressed in casual clothing. Her elaborate bed is seen behind her and the walls of the room are decorated with large framed photos of gears and inventions. Amanda is writing on a single piece of paper under the light of a small lamp which is sitting atop the table. The room is quiet except for the sounds of her pen marking across the page. The camera slowly pans around Amanda as her voice is heard in innner monologue.
Clockworkx: For those unfamiliar with me or my story, my name is Professor Amanda Clockworkx and I've spent a good majority of my life in a city in California called New Calico. This city exists in the far future after much of the world went to war and destroyed most of humanity. All of my memory was gone of any other life I lived, but I did have a life before that time. I'll get back to that later.
How did I get where I am now in this time? The explanation is for those with an open mind. I invented a device which I thought would instantly transport me from one place to another, but something not quite set correctly on the device modified it to where I not only moved in space, but in time as well. So, I began my life in this time making the best of my situation as my device was broken when I arrived here.
I made my first friend with whom I am still friends and her name is Julie. She took me in, gave me a place to live, and taught me of the technology of this time. I was previously using inventions running on kinetics while this time uses gasoline and electricity to power inventions. One other thing Julie taught me was how to use the computer and Twitter to find work as I was a wrestler in New Calico in addition to an inventor. I trained with Julie who owned a facility and regularly taught wrestlers helping them develop and that's where she literally taught me the ropes of wrestling here. You see, wrestling rings in New Calico used actual rope and competitors never used them for climbing or rebounding; they were only there to separate the competitors from the spectators.
I successfully found work as I started to wrestle in a federation called UWF and it was there that I met Rayne Daise. Rayne wrestled against me several times and worked with me to bring me up in the federation. Unfortunately, she was also the one who caused me to get injured, but she apologized and all is now forgiven. I also met a wrestler known as Jenni Drew, she told me I could call her Jenni. Eventually she would go on to become my companion; my lover. She and I shared a love so strong that it lasted over large spans of time.
Fast forward to the year 2132 which is the actual time where I belong, though I lost my memory of the time when landing in New Calico originally. Anyway, I worked for a company known as Calico Genetics as a researcher and scientist. I had two colleagues named Amber and Valerie who worked with me to find a solution to the coming war, the same war after which New Calico existed. Being before my travel to the far future, I had no knowledge of how this war would turn out.
Plans were to create a female warrior genetically who would be intelligent and fierce enough to fight the war single-handedly winning it. Thus we created her, but later found we needed, instead, a woman to help politically in the war. We had our first creation aged to adulthood, but wore out the machines for the day and our second creation remained a child. In this time, we had time travel known and were able to get the DNA of an ancient Egyptian warrior for the first creation and the DNA of a manipulative wrestler for the second. The wrestler chosen was Jenni Drew from the year 2015. My DNA was used for both creations, but after the first, my DNA in the time was weakened and when I was in a better state, I was to travel to 2015 to allow my assistant, Amber, to get my DNA then. Little did I know at the time, I'd accidentally end up there. In the morning, we were to continue aging the second creation while disposing of the first creation as she was no longer needed.
Something happened that night and the lab was attacked. Our first creation escaped and Amber, Amber's husband who worked in the lab, our second creation, now named Veronica, and I traveled in time wanting to go backward to a time where we'd never see the war in our lifetime. Amber and Veronica made it safely, but Amber's husband and I were thrown forward in time and losing our memory. We landed in New Calico where I started telling you of this story.
Veronica was an infant at the time, but by 2015 she had grown to the age of 19. Myself in that time grew to love Jenni Drew and together we eventually found our daughter. This is why the age difference between her and us is so messed up. What came of Valerie and of the first of our creations, the one set up to be a fierce warrior? Valerie somehow made it to 2015 and the first creation arrived in the same time as Amber and Veronica, but stayed hidden in Mexico. Eventually she surfaced as a wrestler known in Phage. How Phage became Aimee Hathor of the Triad is a story she will tell on her own when the time comes.
As I said before, Jenni Drew and I grew to love each other in this time. It's amazing that after all of what time and fate threw at us and the different paths we made, Jenni and I still found one anther and were together. So, I've arrived in LAW with Rayne and Aimee and after all that fell into place just for Jenni and I to be together, we've split up and grown apart. Valerie eventually found me in this time where we met for dinner. She also somehow was able to restore my memory of my original time. I was not a good person then and I feel conflicted inside as my side that fell in love with Jenni now struggles to combat the other side of me from my original time. The latter side often wins and thus results in such harshness toward Jenni.
The camera stops panning and returns to show Amanda in the middle of the view as she licks an envelope and places it into a box. She then takes a necklace made mostly of silver with very few gold gears attached and places it in a smaller box before placing the smaller box into the bigger one. The necklace was shaped like a heart. Amanda continues with her inner monologue...
Clockworkx: Today, I'm making preparations for Valentine's Day, a time devoted to the celebration of love. Oh, Jenni, I said some harsh things and I could tell you I was sorry, but that other side of me would eventually take over and say them over again. I can't keep her down long, just about a day, but I will take a long shot. I am writing you a note that will be delivered to Miami where you now are living. I hope you get this note because I will be in Miami on Valentine's Day waiting in the spot where this note will lead you and this will be my day to hold down that harsher side for a civil meeting with you. I won't be able to explain why I say and do the things I do when I'm around you. Nor can I explain why I feel so sad and broken down when that side subsides for a moment. I am a danger to us right now and I can only hope through what we are going through in LAW, this harsher side will disappear forever.
Jenni, I found out about Rayne Daise during an interview with my Triad partners. I used the rage to train harder and make myself better prepared for our match. I can't believe when I was comatose that you would do such a thing. It's totally disrespectful and you deserve to lose everything you have for it. You lost me and at Rising Stars, you are going to lose your title. I am going to laugh at you as you suffer such defeat and humiliation in the ring. I'm coming for you and your little friend that night and the beating you both get will leave you mangled and broken in the ring. Jenni, you will hurt the most as I have you experience all the pain I've felt throughout our relationship. You know, I'm glad you are gone and glad I get a chance to hurt you. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that. I need to go before she takes over like that again.
Amanda gets up from her desk with the box now sealed with tape and walks out of the view of the camera as it fades to black.
Interviewer: Excuse me, ladies, I needed to get a word with each of you tonight about your appearance on tonight's show. I'd like to start with the most impactful member in regard to Jenn Drew, so Amanda Clockworkx, if you wouldn't mind.
