The first defense.
There is always a certain amount of joy one gets when they are able to get past the very first defense, and I am glad that I was able to get it out of the way because I can finally put all the claims to rest if I deserved to have this championship that is slung over my shoulder. If I am the woman that is meant to represent this company as being it’s champion. Some might look at me and say that I am too small to be a champion. I don’t necessarily have the look that you would expect out of the top tier champion of a company.
I am as flat chested as they come. A mere 110 pounds standing at just 5’3. I am not one to be power housing anyone and there really isn’t that much speed to my style. Granted I do have the ability to climb on the top of the ropes here and there but my style is based off being a technician. Being able to wear down my opponent until I can find the opening I need to shift things in my favour. Sin.. Keira Fisher whoever she wants to be. I am happy that she gave me the fight of a lifetime. We both brought it and I am glad that all of my training and all of my hard work had paid off because now I can stand before everyone as being a World Champion.
Being the woman who not only won a tournament but actually defended her crown in the first match where she had a chance to do so. So you can say that I am happy about that fact. But now’s not the time to get all excited and happy about what I did because I have someone else on the horizon looking to take me down. I have a woman named Faith who will be gunning to prove herself on the LAW roster.
Faith you must really feel honoured to face me in one of your early matches. How often does an up and coming wrestler get to face the World Champion in an exhibition match? It really isn’t that often when it becomes possible but you are getting that chance. My question for you is what do you plan to do with that chance? Are you going to make the must of it? Will you give me your all to make sure that more chances like this keep coming?
Or will you simply fold to the pressure? The choice is really up to you. The only thing I know is that I am entering the ring to defend my honour.
I am going to do everything in my power to show that I am the champion for a reason. And after that it’s onward to my birthday celebration after that.
So bring it Faith.
Bring everything you got, it still won’t be enough...
