Long Beach California, 5:35 a.m
Christy pulls into the drive thru of Starbucks and pulls up to the speaker box.
Voice: Welcome to Starbucks.
Christy: Coffee, Black two sugars, and a cinnabon please.
Voice: Okay pull up to the window
Christy pulls up to the first window and pays for her order, the drives to the second window and picks up her orders. Then pulls out of Starbucks, she drives to her shop and steps out of her car, and opens the door and enters the shop, and turns on the light, then walks to her office, she sits down and turns on her computer. She checks her twitter and facebook, as the time passess and her employees begin to arrive for work. Christy gets up from behind her desk and walks out into the shop.
Christy: Okay so that I know, who is working on the the Trejo bike.
A guy in a bandana speaks.
Guy: I’m taking care of that one Christy.
Christy: Okay, and that bike for make-a wish has to be done by the end of the week, so whoever is working on that one, should get cracking. As for the customer bikes, we’ll finish them up and get them out as soon as possible, okay enough talk get to work.
The workers spread out throughout the shop, Christy herself gets her hands dirty and works on one of the bikes. Christy leaves for business lunch with a wife of a San Jose Sharks player who wants to order a bike to for his birthday, the details are worked out, and Christy returns to the shop and walks into her office, the workers begin to clock out for the day, Christy is the last to leave and closes the shop.
Later the evening Christy arrives at Winter’s Headquarters for the weekly board meeting, which is odd considering that she technically doesn’t work for the company, but since she’s a Winter’s her spot on the board is a given. Christy takes her seat at the desk, and basically just listens the entire meeting. After the meeting she speaks to her father.
Christy: Dad I don’t understand why I have to sit in on these board meetings, Kayla doesn’t attend them.
Marshall: Christy I know that, we gave Kayla control of The Winter’s Foundation, her attendance at board meetings are optional, but your mom and I feel that you are the one to run the company in the future, if your mom and I decide to step away, You and Kayla can and will be running Winter’s Media, and you will the the chair of the board.
Christy: So you and mom are retiring.
Marshall: Well, we haven’t decided that yet, but the time is coming when we will have to step aside and hand the controls of the company to you and Kayla, we have no doubt you can take this company to levels that your mom and I never could, both of you are more in touch with today’s trends and technologies, and want people want on their computer and T.V screens, That’s the reason why you have been attending the board meeting to make you familiar with the inner workings for when you take over.
Christy: Okay. I guess I’ll be here next week then.
Christy give her dad a hug then leaves the boardroom. Christy walks down the hall and enter the elevator, later emerging in the lobby, and exits and makes her way to her car. Christy dials her phone.
Christy: Have the jet ready for tomorrow morning.
Christy opens the door to her corvette and climbs in.
Christy: Flight plan, D.C.
The next day the Winter’s jet touches down at Dulles airport, she steps off the plane where a car is waiting.
Christy: The Avery Georgetown please.
Christy climbs in and the car drives off, later Christy is inside her suite enjoying a cold beer.
Christy: Funny thing, This hotel doesn’t have Miller lite in the bar, but when your last name is Winters, you get Miller lite delivered to your suite. Washington D.C. some city huh, built on a pile of swamp land, and nothing has changed, it stunk then and it stinks now, this is the most corrupt city in America and with Trump in charge that's change anytime in the future. But enough about that idiot, I think we need to talk about something more important, Rising Stars, more specifically The Dynasty, 1 and 1 so far, still trying to figure out how those two losers from Jersey managed to beat us at Law 58, anyway I don’t see them beating the Naughty Girls, the pleasure of doing that will belong to us. Now I know what you're all thinking we have to get past Guilty Pleasure first, I hope your wrestling isn’t as bad as your music, if it is then that number one spot will belong to the Dynasty.
Christy cracks another beer.
Christy: Let’s face the fact here Guilty Pleasure, your music sucks, and the both of you can’t seem to get along for five seconds, advantage Dynasty. The both of you are probably looking past us and hoping that The Boardwalk Idiots win the tag titles, it doesn’t make a fucking difference to us who as the gold, the simple facts are once Kayla and I stomp Guilty Pleasure into the mat, the tag team gold is as good as ours, now that now sound like me boasting, but confidence isn’t a problem I struggle with I know how good the Dynasty are and how good we will be, the only Rising Stars anyone will be talking about will be the Dynasty, the future Law tag team champions.
