From Gabby’s Blog:
So, we’re down to nut cutting time. Amy Jo Smyth flirts with both a dream and disaster. Which one is it going to be? She’s talked a big game, been nothing but disrespectful to me and the LAW roster, believing me to be something of a part timer that doesn’t care about this championship that I currently hold. Amy Jo Smyth is trying so hard to end a 9 year drought with no world championships and faces utter humiliation and letting a whole hell of a lot of people down when she fails. Notice I said when, not if. Because Amy Jo Smyth continues to count her chickens before they hatch as she has made the mistake of doing time and time again during the drought. She has whined and complained and pissed and moaned and made this entire thing about how tough she is, when she’s been this close to giving up entirely when she’s come up short. This, for Amy Jo Smyth, is the pressure cooker. Because when she fails, when she comes up short, will she finally just wilt and give up? Or will she pretend to solider on like she keeps talking about?
Because let’s just face facts here: Amy Jo Smyth talks out of both sides of her mouth, she’s deceitful, judgmental and a hypocrite. And yet, I’ve done nothing like that. But somehow I am the bad guy in this situation. I don’t care about the championship, I’m a bad champion because my face doesn’t plaster your screens every two seconds. You fans at home don’t want that, you don’t need that, so I don’t give it to you. I mean, the past two months, Amy Jo Smyth has been all over TV, trying to hurt people, trying to end careers and talking trash. She’s been trying to convince not only all of you, but herself most of all, that this time is going to be different. That this time she’s going to get the job done and that will be the end of all her problems, and she’s gonna change. I can’t imagine what kind of relationship she has with her wife. That borders on abusive. How many times have you heard a cheating husband or wife tell you they’re going to change if they get ONE MORE CHANCE? I’ll clean up baby I swear! I’ll be different. We’ve all seen it way too many times to be sucked in. You really think for one single second that if Amy Jo Smyth gets her grubby hands all over this championship, that suddenly she’s going to stop being a complete and total hypocrite? That she won’t say one thing and do another? You think that Amy Jo Smyth is going to change for the better? Or change LAW for the better? I really don’t think LAW needs any more glitter all over the place, she already proves she loved that, and that she’s willing to use it if it means she gets what she wants.
It’s just a sad thing to watch a grown woman not accept her own personal responsibility as an adult to grow the fuck up and take her shit like a woman. Maybe my words will reach her, but most likely they won’t. She doesn’t listen to anyone trying to help her, she got the whole holier than thou attitude that has caused her to be a pariah in wrestling and a subject of ridicule. Maybe Amy Jo Smyth should simply look in the mirror to find the source of all her problems. But she won’t. She’s too vain to do that anyway, and boy howdy, If she wins a major championship, look out, because she’s turning the fucking smug bitch control up to 11. If you think that she unbearable now, imagine what she’s going to be like then.
That’s why I simply cannot allow it to happen. Trust me, I’m doing LAW a service by putting Amy Jo Smyth in her place just one more time and maybe it’ll have her having her final meltdown and she’ll retire. We’ve all seen how close she’s become time and time again, and the companies that have exiled her because she doesn’t get her way. Look at the desperate tactics she’s using here in LAW. I mean, what kind of true athlete, or sportsman, in any sport, intentionally tries to hurt people? I mean, no one is going to put dirty fighters or boxers in the hall of fame, you don’t put those people on a pedestal, you exile those people so they do not contaminate the rest of the people with them. And this is the person who is trying to take me down and become the LAW champion. Somehow, I’m in the wrong for pointing out that Amy Jo Smyth is a fraud. There’s really nothing worse in any walk of life than a person who is completely dumb, and acts like they are really smart, or better than everyone.
And that’s been Amy Jo Smyth’s demeanor long before she ever set foot in LAW.
That’s the whole reason people dislike her. But arrogant, asshat people like her don’t bother to see it, or willingfully ignore it. This is not a case of a person who “wears their heart on their sleeve” or “lets all their flaws show” no. The things I’m saying right now, are exactly who Amy Jo Smyth is, and who she is trying to convince everyone she’s not. And that’s just not right in the slightest. The more anyone thinks about this, the more they know I’m right. She simply tries to deflect this with a shrug and tries to play it cool, but we’ve all seen the “What do I have to do” tweets after a big loss, we’ve seen the angry tweets at friends when she in full on “woe is me” bitch mode. We’ve seen her judge people who she doesn’t like, and then when it’s done to her, all of a sudden it’s unfair, it’s not right. Who are those people to judge Amy Jo Smyth for her terrible behavior as not only a wrestler but as a goddamn human being? You can go kick rocks with that bouncing back bullshit. No one is buying it anymore. We have seen this movie time and time again, and we’re about to, unfortunately, see another episode where Amy Jo Smyth complains, cries, and threatens retirement and giving up everything because she’s going to fucking fail at Rising Stars. I know, I’m being harsh. Maybe I’m being too critical. But you see what happens in the world when we don’t have the right person doing the right thing? Donald Trump became the fucking president! That should scare the hell out of any LAW fan.
Amy Jo Smyth with the keys to the kingdom mean fucking glitter, cat gifs, and annoying fucking segments where she tries to act humble like she worked so hard and this is a testament to how hard she’s worked for a the longest time. No, it fucking isn’t. It’s more or less going to be a tribute to her massive ego and how great she believes herself to be. The faux humble bullshit is simply that. If she was bouncing back, if she was rising from the dead or whatever she wants to say, she wouldn’t NEED to have resorted to the things she did. I mean, is she going to apologize to Mindy De Santiago? Or Mackenzie Roberts, for saying they were garbage and not worth her time? And yet, she thinks the exact same thing about me. We all know this. Like I don’t take her seriously. As a wrestler, I very much so take her seriously because she’s very good. But as an overall human being? Does anyone take her seriously? And that’s really the important question. And the answer is a resounding “no.” Who can respect a person who does what she does and tries to act like it’s part of her bouncing back thing? What kind of person injures people and then goes “I really deserve this championship match.” I honestly wanted to give her this championship match to shut her up. Because as we being this thing full circle, the pressure is all on Amy Jo Smyth. She HAS to win. Otherwise, the past decade or however long she wants to say for gaining sympathy, will not be a trend, but a culture. A culture of being one step away and failing. She’s the Buffalo Bills, the New York Mets, The Indians, The Utah Jazz, and all the other teams that never won the big one or took a really long time to get there.
That’s what this is really about for Amy Jo Smyth, that her winning the LAW champion, somehow justifies her shitty behavior. I mean, she’s proud of the way she got here. She’s proud of doing a lying conniving bitch that tried to hurt people. And the LAW champion means she was 100% right in doing what she did. The end justifies the means. I would respect Amy Jo Smyth if she didn’t try to hide that kind of thing from everyone with her lousy justifications. If Amy Jo Smyth truly has been humbled enough times, she wouldn’t be taking this many desperate measures. End of story.
I’ve never lied to you fans. I’ve never said one thing and done another, I’ve always tried my best, gave respect when and where it was due to the people who deserved it. I don’t like Crystal, but she was woman enough to shake my hand. Kate Steele and I beat the shit out of each other, and while she’s still stupid, she’s tough in the ring. Amy Jo Smyth isn’t going to do that, win or lose. She wins, and she’s the obnoxious bitch who had to be a shitty human being to get the job done, or she loses and complains about her life sucking. It is a no win situation for all parties involved folks. That’s why at Rising Stars, I’m going to beat Amy Jo Smyth, I’m going to retain this championship, and I’m going to continue to set the example for how to carry one self as a champion. And Amy Jo Smyth, will continue to be the example, of how to fuck up a career, and a life.
Life is too short to be petty and jealous. Life is too short to cry over spilled milk and you don’t get many opportunities handed to you. Because there’s greedy people like Amy Jo Smyth who just can’t understand the right way and the wrong way, and will step on you at the drop of a hat for her own personal gain. Smile in your face, stab you in the back. It’s really, really sad.
I’m far from perfect, but I am never, NEVER going to end up like Amy Jo Smyth at age 36. I got about 10 years, so Ii got plenty of time to steer the ship if it ever goes wrong.
But this is what Amy Jo Smyth wanted. To paint me as the bad guy who doesn’t listen, who doesn’t care, and who is just awful when it comes to being a champion. Now, I’m playing the bad guy, and the truth comes from these lips and the taste of the truth is sour to Amy Jo Smyth. It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad. Another what could have been.
I will see you Sunday Amy Jo. And you will learn not to start something that you cannot fucking finish.
I punched at the heavy bag with everything in me. I was trying so hard to knock that fucker off the wall. I had to get 100% serious about this match, and beating Amy Jo Smyth. I knew what I was going to say, but I of course would have to back up physically, what I needed to say verbally.
*Punch*
There is really no turning back from the harsh worse we’ve exchange. Someone is going to end up with egg on their face and god damn I didn’t want it to be me. I worked too hard, and too long to let a person like Amy Jo just walk in and take what I worked for so long and hard for. What I busted my ass to keep already.
*Punch*
It wasn’t a record, or some kind of streak I was going for, it was to set right any accusation that Smyth tried to get across. She saw me as a weak champion. She saw me as a paper champion. Like I didn’t know what it was to bust my ass and fight through challenge after challenge. Disrespecting not only me, but my legacy and my opponent’s legacy. I mean, who did this bitch think she was?
*Punch*
What gave Amy jo the ability to know what a good champion was? Who was she? She hadn’t done what I had done, if she had, it was years ago, and times have indeed changed, we aren’t in some forgotten era where she’s the only badass in a group of models. Hell, that shit still exists today. Wrestlers are everywhere, in all colors, shapes and sizes, and she just assumes that because I don’t spend every waking moment of my life trying to pick a fight on twitter or getting my face on television.
*Punch*
My phillosiphy has always been to a champion that led by example. Hell, if I hadn’t walked down the aisle and chased her away, who was going to? Who was going to step up and led and stop her from trying to destroy LAW from the inside? Hell, the way she was and how she acted, I wouldn’t have been any kind of champion if I hadn’t stepped up. I wasn’t going to let her get away with something like that. Champion or not. But it’s because of the way I lead, that she’s where she’s at, standing across from me in D.C. The bitch should be thanking me!
*Punch*
If not for me, actually leading, her arm breaking attempt spree would probably still be going on today, and she’d still be pissing and moaning about not getting her chance at the big time and not having competition. It was ridiculous the way she conducted herself, but in a way, it worked, she got what she wanted. Which made all the more important that I beat her. Because doing that, would prove my point, maintain my legacy. I had a bitch tried to run me down with a car, and another gloat all day long, riding her broken legacy straight to a loss that she’s changed everything out herself. Both of those women gave me all I could handle and then some. And now, Amy Jo Smyth, was just going to walk in, acting as arrogant as they were ,and she was going to be the one to take this championship off me?
Fuck that.

“You’re going to take that bag off the wall chica…”
Cordy… Always Cordy.
I stopped punching the bag after finishing with a flurry and I looked back at Cordy.
“I’m amazed you actually were looking at what I was doing.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“You know exactly what it means Cordy.”
Cordy rolled her eyes and threw up her hands in mock surrender
“I’m just under the Gabby influence. Makes us all act a fool.”
I got a chuckle out of that. Cordy did always try to blame me.
“I didn’t do anything. I’m just in here, working out, and I can feel the heat from those eyes. But, the heat is straight on my ass. I don’t know why though.”
“See, you nasty.”
I shook my head and toweled off.
“What are you even doing out here anyway?”
“I’ve been out here, where have you been?”
“Busy Cordy. You know me. And you ain’t even say anything anyway. What kind of shit is that?”
Cordy smirked and folded her arms, giving me that face she does.
“Because I’m trying to do it big out here, see what the fuss is about. Plus, I never got a thank you.”
“Thank you? For what?”
“I cooked you food. I ain’t no cook. I made you food and you ain’t ever say thank you. That’s what happens when you forget. I sneak up on you and won’t ever know I’m there.”
There was a moment of silence between us before we both started laughing. I can always count of Cordy, even in the most pressured moments, to release tension by doing or saying something silly. She’s a master at it. She’s a goofball and I love her for it.
“You need to stop. Cordy. You’re a damn fool.”
“It’s all your fault. You did this too me. That Gabby influence. Always messing everybody up.”
“You’ve been messed up long before I met you Cordy.”
“Pfft.”
“That’s not what Nina tells me.”
“Listen, you don’t be listening to all the bad things Nina and Mimi say about me. They always try to get me in trouble. Especially Mimi.”
“And you are always in trouble. So what’s that say. Mimi is right about you all the time.”
“No she ain’t. don’t be believing her.”
“I see it Cordy. You’re bad news.”
“Nina will set you straight. Watch. Ask Nina.”
“I will next time I see her, but right now I gotta go shower and get home.”
“What you ‘bout to do?”
“I just told you. I’m going home to rest up. I got a big match and I ain’t got time for you to cause all this trouble for me. I need a clear head for this.”
“I came all the way out here for you to see me, and you ain’t even going to go out and have fun?”
“Work now, fun later Cordy.”
“Later, as in tonight. You’re are way too worked up. You need a break.”
Cordy drove a hard bargain. What’s the only saying, “all work and no play?” Ah, what the hell.
“Fine Cordy, but not too late. We’ll go have some fun later, I will keep my eye on you, and keep you out of trouble, and then, I got a long flight in the morning to D.C. I gotta a title to retain.
“Ayye I hear that chica.”
That was the plan. I swear Cordy is going to be the death of me. Work was finished, a little play didn’t hurt, and the plane would give me more videos to watch. I was as ready as I was going to be, and now, I was going to prove to the world, what a true champion was.
