{The Scene opens up to two women, one dark and the other fair. They are sitting in what appears to be a very comfortable waiting room. The Dark one continuously clasps and unclasps her hands, getting anxious for their meeting. The lighter one gives her a smile, putting her hand on top of hers as if to reassure her.}
Blonde: Jenny... relax. Nothing is going to go wrong. I told you I would find you the very best company and I think I did. There is only top talent in LAW. I think we will be a good fit here. I know it's been a while since you've gotten in that ring but with all the extra training you've done over the last few weeks I don't think you have much to worry about.
Jenny smiles as she looks at the blonde as she says to her
Jenny: I know, Jessie. I'm just nervous right now. Ever since you became my manager. I don't know. I feel right around you
Jenny admits as she looks at Jessie, but secretly starts staring at her body
Jessie gives her another warm smile, completely oblivious to her client's thoughts at the moment. Still holding her hand she nods her head.
Jessie: I know and thank you, that makes me have some confidence that I'm doing a good job. There were other offers but this was the only one that I just had a good feeling about overall. They have some top talent here and you are one of them.
Jenny smiles as she gets behind Jessie and begins to massage her shoulders. She then says
Jenny: Don't ask. I just want to get things off of my mind.
Jenny does a semi lie, she wanted to find out more about Jessie, ever since the two shared drinks together and got a hint of who Jessie was, romantic wise
Jessie shakes her head from side to side
Jessie: How exactly is massaging my shoulders helping you exactly?
Jenny: I just want to get things off my mind. Get rid of my nerves
She honestly says as she continues to softly massage Jessie's shoulders
Jessie smirks, turning slightly she puts her hand on one of Jenny's and shakes her head slowly.
Jenny looks at Jessie and wonders
Jessie: I appreciate that I do, but this...this is making me feel a little uncomfortable. I don't want you to feel bad or anything but you know how...how I feel right now... but this is something we can discuss in private..not here...okay?
Jessie looks up at her with a bit of a scared wide eyed look in her eyes
Jenny: We are in private...
Jenny says as she stops and sits beside Jessie. She hated how straight she was acting. Ever since the two had drinks, Jenny has been trying to find out some things and she didn't know what else to do
Jessie points to the receptionist typing away at her desk, even though she hadn't paid any attention to the only two women in the LAW offices since they'd arrived.
Jessie: I'm still hurting over Lucas. I just need some time. I don't want you to get any wrong ideas or that I"m leading you on.
Jenny: Lucas was nothing more than a man. A self serving pig. Nothing more. I wish you'd learn that he doesn't deserve any attention.
Jenny sighs a little. She hated the fact that Jessie was still hurting over a LOSER. It was bad enough Jessie was straight or so she thought
Jessie: Please... I don't want to talk about this right now.
Jessie almost looks as though she's going to start crying again when she slips a hand into her bag bringing out a tissue and wiping at her nose.
Jenny sighs as she pulls Jessie in and hugs her to calm her down
Jenny: Calm down. I'm sorry
Jessie: I don't expect you or anybody else to feel sorry for me but you can't just think that I'm going to get over him over night. He was... the love of my life. I just need lots of time to heel. I think throwing myself into something else for a while will help me keep my mind off it
as if her words were magic, the receptionist looks over at teh two women hugging, raises and eyebrow before clearing her throat
Receptionist: Mr. Dupree will see you both now
After a few hours, and seeing Mr. Dupree, Jenny and Jessie signed a contract. Jenny as a wrestler and Jessie the manager. Jenny was seen in Jessie's apartment, wanting to stay with her for a few days as she sits up some glasses and some red wine
Jessie: I swear the only reason you want to drink so much wine when I'm around is because i can't stop laughing at every joke you say. It makes me tend ot believe that maybe they aren't as funny as you make out
Jessie smirks at her friend from her small dining room table
Jenny: Please, Reason why you drink with me is cause you love the imported wine
Jenny smirks as she pours a glass
Jessie: Well there is that...
Jenny: Besides, you know I'm funny
Jessie raises an eyebrow,
Jessie: Looking maybe...
Jenny: Excuse me?
Jessie is smirking but isn't able to hold in her uncontrollable laughing, a certain mirth glinting in her eyes
Jessie: You are sooo vain. You make it way too easy
Jenny: You would know the word easy
Jessie: Pfft, you are soo more vain than I cold ever be
Jenny begins to smirk
Jenny: Not as vain as Danica Jones will be. I know it won't be easy. But I need to try. She won't see it coming.
Jenny smirks as Jessie turns, she decides to kiss Jessie. She didn't know why, except to see what she would do. Jessie pulls away as she says
Jessie: I...I gotta go
Jessie stands and runs off as Jenny sighs as the scene fades
