Law World Championship.
It is everything that I worked hard into achieving. I have worked day in and day out to prove that I am something close to being a fighting champion. The thrill of being a champion means that you are at the top of something. That you are the Queen of the Hill and with every passing moment there are going to be those who are going to want to test that theory. They are going to test that they are perhaps better than you, and with every single match are going to do everything in your power to knock you off that hill. That’s how I feel as this company goes on with each and every day of it’s functioning. That there is going to be someone who will want to rise up beyond where they are at so that they can test you.
So that they can prove that they have what it takes to capture what you hold, and this week is no different. The list of challengers just seems to expand with every passing moment, and in the main event of this edition of LAW I will perhaps be in the spotlight with a woman who I know for a fact wants the Championship that I have around my waist. This week I get to face the likes of Violet, Mack, or whoever it is that possesses her. To be honest it doesn’t really matter to me.
When I look at Violet I see a woman that I respect. A woman who is a redhead like I am and together we have set the very foundation of LAW but rising to the top becoming it’s very first singles champions, and even to this day we have firmly been planted on top of our hills to where we can say that we are the best. It’s not the fact that we have to rub it in but part of the territory of being a champion showcases that we are as good as we say we are. The Championship further defines that fact. But our battle will showcase two champions fighting each other for what they believe in.
Violet, Mack. I just want to say you have my honest to God respect. I know at times you are quick to tell somebody to sit down. You are quick to put a person in their place but not once have you ever been mean to me. Not once have you ever had acted in an ill way towards me and I respect that more than you could ever imagine. My question is why can’t you be like this all of time? Why is it that you will go out of your way to put a person in their place whether it’s beating them down with a chair after the fact, rubbing a win in like you did with Skye, or whatever. That really doesn’t seem like you when you consider the way that you treat me.
I don’t know what the deal is but I do know this for a fact. That you don’t want to become too complacent with just being the Marquee Championship. As long as you hold that title people will always see you as being second best to the World Champion and that is something that will eat away at you. Eat away to the point where you will want to claim the World Championship as your own. Will if you are planning to make a statement you don’t have to wait too long Vi because this edition of LAW you will have the chance to steal the show.
You will have the chance to make an impact but not only just that. You will have a chance to showcase why the belt should be around your waist and not mine. All it takes Mack is to do one simple thing.
One thing and you will be right where you want to be. All you need to do is go down to that ring and beat me inside of it. Once you beat me you will jump right to the top of the pecking order. You will show why you are rightfully the number one contender and why you should receive a shot at my World Champion.
I believe Charlie made the quote “Winning” mean something, So that’s what you need to do. Disqualification, countout. Those won’t get you what you want. But by showing the world that you can beat me will you get the thing that you seek. Do you have the ability to do so? Or will you crumble under the pressure. The reality of everything is that since being in this company there was only one match where I did not come out victorious in, and it was my very first encounter against Sin.
That felt like an eternity ago though. You on the other hand did not win your first match. You had to win a battle royal just to take a step closer into becoming Marquee Champion. Even so as Champion you lost to Zelda where I am just getting better with each and every single match, and showcasing why I am the best in this company.
So go on Vi bring it girl. Show me everything you have. Prove to me that you want what I have.
Other than that let’s put a show on. Put on a performance that will never be forgotten. Good luck you are going to need it. Don’t bother saying anything. After all Silence is Golden right?
The scene comes into focus and we find ourselves in the Charlotte home of James and Cynthia Warren. Kate seems to be at the dinner table for what looks like a small peaceful family dinner. Todd and James are watching the Heat game as their eyes aren’t on the table. Little Terra seems to be flicking her food about as Cynthia is trying to clean it up. Meanwhile Kate smiles as she has her Championship title on the table. Her eyes fascinated by it as she keeps her eyes on it while biting into her chicken parm.
Kate: Damn that is a good championship if I do say so myself. So heavy, so shiny. It’s hard to carry with me on the road and what. Hell at times I think that the belt weighs more than I do.
Cindy stares back at Kate as she instantly roll her eyes at her. She crosses her arms together as she let’s a long sigh escape her lips.
Cindy: Terra you stop playing with your food this instant or I swear I am going to put you in timeout.
Which doesn’t really work considering the two year old just continues to do what she pleases. Cindy moves her eyes back over to Kate as she shakes her head at her.
Cindy: Is there a reason why you have that championship belt on the table? You know the place where people eat and what not. If you don’t mind can you move that thing? We don’t know where it’s been and it would be a little more sanitary to just leave it in your bag.
Kate’s eyes open up as she stares back at Cindy.
Kate: Nah that’s ok. I will lysol the table when I am done. It’s hard not to admire something so precious as this while I eat at the same time. If you don’t mind I will keep looking at it for a few more minutes. I will let you know when I am done.
Kate takes yet another bite which causes Cindy to really roll her eyes. As she grabs the championship.
Cindy: On second thought I see how talking really isn’t reaching you so I might as well move it myself.
Cindy holds it as she brings it over to Kate’s bag. She stops as she holds the championship smiling at it.
Cindy: Wow it is pretty heavy.
Kate: I know too bad that’s the closest you are ever going to get to holding a championship.
Cindy rolls her eyes are she stares back at Kate throwing her championship to the side.
Kate: Did I say something that stung? Let’s be honest here Cyn what have you honestly done to even warrant being close to a championship? What have you done to work your way up the ladder? You could have won against Zelda made an impact but you fell short. You are the veteran of your team yet the inexperienced Doc looks more like the pro and you are simply her protege.
Cindy: I hate you… By the way expect to live another 3 hours at best. I kinda put poison in your food.
Kate: Really?!
James turns his attention from the television as he stares over at his wife.
James: Trust me Kate it didn’t take much considering her cooking isn’t necessarily the best at times.
Cindy: You know what screw all of you. Come on Terra, Let’s get going. No one in this house respects us.
Cindy grabs Terra as she walks away leaving Kate to grab her championship holding it close to her. She let’s the smile escape her lips as she turns over to her brother in law and husband enjoying the game.
Todd: Look at my boy Tim Duncan getting big. Old man showing he can still play.
I guess this was the family life for Kate and she was happy just spending it with them enjoying her reign as World Champion.
