Shortly After Kate’s Match
Kate couldn’t believe it. After being denied a championship for the past 22 months she had finally found a way to bounce back and win a championship when it meant the most. Kate sat in her locker room. Her eyes were filled with tears of joy. Kate was still in her wrestling gear, her attire stained with blood but it didn’t matter as she clutched the Chaos Championship in her hands. Kate held the title close to her body as she kept her eyes locked upon it for a bit. It wasn’t that long before Kate’s girlfriend Mackenzie and her best friend Violet had entered into the locker room. Mackenzie smiles as she walks behind Kate and embraces her into a tight passionate hug.
“You did it baby… After everything you finally went out and did it!”
Mackenzie smiles as she keeps looking down at Kate. Violet on the other hand smiles as she looks at Kate. Both Mackenzie and Violet are wearing their Pink Ladies jackets as Violet is the next one to speak.
“It is well deserved Kate. I know you have been through a lot but you accomplished everything you had set your heart out to do. I am proud of you and I know Lavender is very proud of her God Mother. How do you feel about everything?!”
Kate just remains on the floor as she clutches at the championship some more. She slowly rises up as she lays the championship across the bench. The title still read Roxy Cotton but she knew it wouldn’t be long before the LAW staff removed the name plate and changed it to her name. Kate nods with a wicked grin as she slowly wipes the tears from out of her eyes and glances at her best friend and girlfriend.
“You girls want to know how I feel?! I feel relieved to be honest. I feel like I actually went out and accomplish something. For the past 22 months after I lost my Marquee Championship to Mackenzie it was like I was trying to find my very identity. I sided with Kenzi… I tried to fall off the deep end. I went from hating the fans, to loving them, to hating them again, and I was an absolute mess. Finally after almost two years I have everything I could ever want…”
Kate cries out as Violet shakes her head at her.
“Katey Kins… You know a title doesn’t define you right? A championship should never define who you are as a person…”
Kate shakes her head as she looks deeply into Violet’s eyes.
“It has nothing to do with the championship. That is just icing on the cake. What I am happy about is the fact that I have a loving best friend who is there for me, and I have a beautiful girlfriend in the form of Mackenzie. Without you two I honestly don’t know where I would be…”
Mackenzie laughs as she looks back at Kate as she helps Kate off of the ground and embraces her into a long passionate hug.
“You know I wasn’t about to let you go out there and fight Roxy and her overgrown bodyguard all by yourself. I have your back, just like I have always had your back…”
Kate raises her eyebrows as she looks back at Mackenzie.
“Well what about all of those times where you said that you would never come back to LAW and….”
“I said I wasn’t going to return back as a competitor. I did everything I had set out to do. I was the longest reigning champion of all time. I had the Marquee championship for over a year, and I did things that no woman has ever done here before. What more do I really have to do to prove myself?! But that’s me as a competitor. That has nothing to do with me being here to support you…”
Mackenzie looks at Kate as she slowly lifts her head upwards and plants a passionate kiss on her lips. She smirks as she gazes into her eyes.
“I know I am not the most affectionate of people but I do love you Kate and tonight should have been the sign that I really am here for you. We don’t have to be one of those couples that you see all over Twitter proclaiming their love for one another. You should be confident enough to know how I truly feel about you. I am happy for what you accomplished tonight. I am happy with what the three of us have done in LAW. Violet is a Hall of Famer, I am a Hall of Famer and it won’t be long until everyone hears your name being inducted as well, and I am going to be there to induct you..”
Kate looks back at Mackenzie as she smiles in return.
“You really mean that?!”
“Of course I mean it. I wouldn’t be your girlfriend if I didn’t believe in it and maybe we shouldn’t focus on all of this. After all this is your night. This is the night where you made history. Nobody else in this entire company has won three different singles championships. You are the only person to have ever done anything close to the sort. We should celebrate what was accomplished tonight.”
Kate smiles as she nods her head in agreement as she looks back at Mackenzie letting a wicked grin escape her lips.
“Well it did feel good to win in New York. I moved here when I was twelve years old straight from England. Granted Long Island was where Teddy was from but I spent so much time on Long Island and in the city. To come back here and leave with a feel good moment makes me feel really good. I had my family out there but to be honest the greatest moment is being able to share it with you two. I wouldn’t trade this for anything in the world.”
Mackenzie smiles as she runs her hands across Kate’s face. She moves her hair to the side as she plants a passionate kiss on her lips. The two begin to make out in front of Violet as the redhead just shakes her head looking back at Kate.
“Would you two just go back to your hotel room? Nobody really wants to see that especially not me. You girls promised that when it was just the three of us you wouldn’t make me feel like a third wheel!”
Kate smiles as she looks back at Violet.
“Sorry Vi… It’s just the moment… I felt like I really accomplished something tonight, and….”
Before anything else could be said the door to the locker room opens up and we are able to see Teddy Warren emerging through the doors. Teddy is guiding little Juliet and the six year old girl quickly runs over to Kate and embraces her into a passionate hug.
“Mommy!!!!!!!!!”
She yells cheerfully as Kate breaks away from Mackenzie as she quickly picks up her six year old adopted daughter and lifts her high into the air.
“Hey pumpkin!!! I missed you so much!!! Did you like what you saw tonight?!”
“Mommy was all boom!!! Fly from the sky drop the mean woman on her head! I love you so much mommy!”
“I love you too pumpkin. I wouldn’t trade this moment for anything else in the world…”
Kate says as she places Juliet back on the ground. Juliet smiles as she looks at the bench and she sees the Chaos Championship sitting there. She tries to lift it up but it seems to be too heavy for her.
“Let me give you a hand with that!!! The title is really heavy! Mommy can barely hold it!”
Kate grabs the championship as she helps her daughter up and sits her on the bench. She places the championship across Juliet’s chest as she slowly turns her attention to Teddy who is sitting there with a smile on his face. Teddy and Kate exchange looks with one another as Teddy is the first to speak.
“Congratulations on what you did tonight…”
Kate sighs as she looks at Mackenzie who just keeps her eyes locked on Teddy. Kate takes a long deep breath as she begins to speak.
“Thank you I appreciate it. It feels good to actually go out there and accomplish this tonight… However what are you doing here?!”
“Well Juliet wanted to see you Kate and I wasn’t about to deny the girl from seeing her mother…”
Teddy sighs as he looks back at Kate.
“Listen Kate….”
Kate quickly cuts him off as she looks deeply into his eyes.
“Listen Kate nothing! Look we are done Todd… We were done the moment I told you we were getting a divorced and we went through with the whole process. I am with Mackenzie now and you need to accept that fact…”
Teddy however approaches Kate as he looks into her eyes.
“I didn’t want to talk about us well at least not in that sense… I just wanted to say that I was happy to see you accomplish your dreams tonight. Whenever you put your mind to something you can honestly accomplish anything you ever imagine you could. I knew that the moment I met you nine years ago and for the first time in a long time it feels good to see you happy again. I know we may not be together but that doesn’t change the fact that you are the mother of my child and I just want the absolute best for you!”
“You really mean that?!”
“Of course I do I don’t want to be one of those exes who hates everything about the person they were formerly married too. That isn’t us Kate and that certainly isn’t me. You accomplished one dream tonight and you are still showing yourself to be a wonderful mother on top of that. I just wanted to see if you were really to go out there and accomplish a different dream.”
Kate rolls her eyes as she looks back at Teddy.
“And what dream would that be?!”
Teddy smiles as she looks deeply into Kate’s eyes.
“The one that sees you finally having success as the leader of a band…”
“Teddy we been down this road before and….”
Teddy smiles as he hands Kate a contract.
“I pulled some strings and got what you desperately been wanting. It’s a contract to finally make music in the right way… You, and I along with some others. All you need to do is sign on the dotted line and everything you could have ever wanted will be waiting for you…”
Kate doesn’t know what to say as she turns her attention over to Mackenzie. Mackenzie nods her head as she looks back at Kate. Kate grabs the contract as she looks back at Teddy.
“I’ll think about this okay… Thank you so much…”
“Don’t mention it… I’ll be going. You can keep Juliet for the night. I think she wants to help you celebrate your big moment…”
Teddy leaves the locker room as Kate looks over at his daughter. After everything she had finally done it. She had finally accomplished everything she had ever imagined. The only question left to answer is what’s next… And it’s at this image that we fade out on.

[/img][/span][/div]Hey everyone Kate Steele here! I just want to be the first to say that Night of Glory was such an amazing night for me. I remained undefeated at the biggest event of the year and not only that but I was able to walk away as the brand spanking new Chaos Champion!
That’s more than enough to bring a smile to my face because I have basically been title less for the past two years. Ever since I lost to Mackenzie Roberts in 2016 I have been doing my best to try to find my very identity. I was running around like a crazed lunatic and it’s been hard to figure out who I was as a person.
I was a very lost soul and I just didn’t know what I was going to do with myself.
I did everything I could to fit in I sided myself with the people who I thought was going to give me the attention I deserved but after running around in circles for the past years I have come to the conclusion that the only one I truly needed to impress was myself.
Because if I didn’t have a severe lack of confidence in myself I wouldn’t have gone through everything I did to try to fight for the attention of anyone and everyone.
I am over those days and now I stand before you all as the Chaos Champion.
I never imagined myself chasing after another belt that revolved around being placed in situations that involves no rules but maybe this is the best place for me. I am not only a singles champion again but I am now a woman who has done something that has never been done before. I have managed to capture three different singles championships in this company and am undefeated at the biggest show of the year. It just doesn’t get any better than that.
In 2016 I have laid my eyes upon the Chaos Championship when I was involved in a serious feud with Kenzi Grey, but after watching Sam Tolson beat her, and seeing Sam was a part of my Pink Ladies I couldn’t bring myself to fight her. I was too focused on being the leader of the Pink Ladies and I didn’t want that to come in between us.
I put the needs of someone else before my very own and the same thing came in the form of when I was trying to really be Kenzi’s partner and eventually more than that.
After seeing the Cool Kids go to war over the Breakout Championship, and seeing how the Angels are going to be fighting over the Marquee Championship I now know that the only thing that is important is mustering the courage to go out there and fight for what you believe in.
Whether it involves a friend or foe it really shouldn’t matter. The only thing that matters is giving it your very all and not having any doubts about putting it all on the line.
Roxy Cotton you and I went to war over the Chaos Championship and I know that we have had our share of ups and downs but you are a foe that needs to be taken seriously. Even if you happen to be a web cam girl who is only looking to get more followers with every stream that really doesn’t matter to me.
And it shouldn’t matter to you either. It shouldn’t matter who is the most prettiest between the both of us or who has the better looking hair although I must say I truly am the better blonde but that’s beside the point.
I knew it from the moment that you took me out after my I Quit match that you were a force to be taken seriously. Granted your mind was far too locked upon fighting Sam Tolson and even after denying her a rematch on her terms seeing as she wanted to stall my right to get a championship match I do appreciate you choosing me as your next challenger.
That much I do respect. As a matter of fact I just want to go on the record and say that I know a lot of people hate the Cool Kids for taking over and being the focal point of the entire roster, but you all know how to bring a fight.
Especially you Roxy… You took the fight to me. You laid the first strike and I simply answered it. When you found yourself to be outnumbered by a pair of petite women you found this big body guard to help even the odds.
I get it you felt threatened and you did whatever you could to retain your championship. The only thing is didn’t work out for you seeing as I dropped you on your bloody head in the middle of the ring!
You are a hell of a competitor for someone who has bleached their hair far more times than I have ever dyed mines at least your brain cells are all there to wrestle in a great match up. The Peroxide Princess is one that doesn’t back away from a challenge and I knew the moment you offered me a match that you were quite the little bad ass. You weren’t one that ducked from a challenge.
I may have won the championship back in November but I am also the same woman who has offered you a rematch as soon as you lost because not only do you deserve to get back what you lost but I am a fighting champion.
As much as I might have changed over these years that has been one constant that has followed me throughout my wrestling career, and that has been that Kate Steele always finds a way to bring it when it matters the most.
You felt that at Night of Glory and I know for a fact that you will feel that again. You brought it too but you pissed me off in a way I couldn’t imagine.
You tried to get my girlfriend involved. Your oversized bodyguard put her hand son girlfriend and you even threatened her and that is what I don’t take too kindly. Even after Mackenzie told you time and time again that she has no desires to step into a LAW ring as a competitor you seem to push this issue.
You seem to target her and that’s where I take offense. You want to fuck with my loved ones? Well you are going to deal with a very pissed off Kate Steele.
I won’t complain if you want to do anything it takes to win a match such as this. After all we are fighting in a world where there are no rules. A world where anything goes so you might as well pull all the stops and do whatever it takes to win the belt.
Just be ready to know that I am planning to do the same exact thing. After two years of not holding any championship do you think I am ready to just walk away empty handed?
Do you think I am ready to simply throw it all away after being a one and done champion?!
Hell no… When I beat you Roxy I had defeated every single member of the Cool Kids! I have stood up to the challenge and I have taken you all down and it looks like I am going to do it all again.
Roxy the difference between our first encounter and now is the fact that you are the hunter and I am your prey. How hungry are you to eat? Are you starving for the championship as much as I am or will you go on living with the fact that you can’t beat me.
One thing is for certain I don’t think you have it in you to beat me. Just like you didn’t have it in you to win that battle royal!
You made the promise that you would be the number one contender for the Marquee Championship and that simply didn’t happen. So if you can’t get through winning the right to face Crystal what gives you the right to think you have what it takes to beat me?!
I don’t think you have it in you. As far as I go this is my destiny. This is my division and I will be the fighting champion that the division deserves. Not one that sits on a title for months and doesn’t push the right to make her title the best. Not one that carries that title like a trinket.
I carry this division as a fighter. If I win I win, if I lose I lose, but I will be acknowledge as someone who at least went out there night out and night in and gave it her all, and nobody can take that away from me.
So bring everything you have and I assure you it won’t be enough.
You hear that song? It’s the Siren’s Song and if you follow it to the end you will find yourself SHIPWRECKED!!!! See you in the ring Roxy don’t let me down!
