NEW YORK CITY – NEW YORK – With L.A.W. coming off the heels of it’s biggest and best iPPV yet, the company was hit with a lawsuit stemming from an injury suffered by a fan after the brutal match between Sidney Grey and Crystal Hilton spilled into the crowd. Byron Moore was struck in the head by a steel chair, which was apparently meant for Grey. Emergency medical treatment technicians immediately treated the injury to the fan and Moore was taken to a local medical facility for observation.
Today an attorney representing Moore for malicious injury caused by negligence served L.A.W. with a one million dollar lawsuit. The extent of Moore’s injuries were not revealed, but was said to be serious. Moore’s attorney went on to say that despite the callous nature in which the company approached his client’s safety, he was willing to come to LAW #13 and address the issue on the air.
Neither Grey nor Hilton were specifically named in the suit, but many claim that the two women are to be blamed instead of the company which employs them. The camera angle which caught the moment of the injury seemed to catch Grey pulling Moore in the way of the vicious chair-shot from Hilton which knocked him unconscious. Hilton seemed to immediately recognize the injury and stopped her attack on Grey, giving the reality star the chance to take advantage and turn the match back in her favor.
There has been no word from L.A.W. on accepting Moore’s offer to come to LAW #13, but they are expected to do so in an attempt to head off the damaging lawsuit. Likewise, Grey and Hilton have also been quiet on the subject and our calls were not immediately returned. As always, we invite our readers to weigh in and leave their thoughts on this topic. Tell us who you feel is to blame for the injury as well as how you feel L.A.W. should address the situation.
