Maleek Raheem hadn’t felt like himself in quite a while. Despite his best efforts to push Sidney Grey to the sidelines and boot her off of CTN, she kept finding ways to best him at every turn. Her collaboration with Summer St. Clair had boosted the ratings for her show…so he has sought to drive a wedge between the two of them. Sleeping with Summer to make Sid jealous was just the first step, but who would have guessed that Summer would turn the tables on him and trick him into sleeping with Sid…
This probably qualified as rape, but he wasn’t about to run to the cops like a little bitch!
Next, he had committed himself to using his television show to ‘run Sid down’ publicly. Once again, Sid had managed to sidestep the attempt as she hijacked his show and furthered her own agenda with his audience no less…
This was probably also some kind of offense in the eyes of the law, but only punks ran crying to the cops!
Finally…he had the ultimate plan…he had worked himself into being the special referee in Sid’s match against Crystal Hilton. There was no way in hell that Sid was going to get out of this intact! Crystal was better than Sid in everyway imaginable and she was bent on tearing Sid to pieces. He had every intention of making sure that Crystal didn’t just win the match…but she destroyed Sid and put her out of the sport for good.
Amazingly, Sid not only manages to escape being put out of LAW, but she even wins the match…well…that last part is debatable!
Raheem hadn’t been himself since this series of defeats and he had all but disappeared from the limelight. He had shifted his focus to his new position in CTN, choosing to focus on promotion. He sat in his office reviewing sales data, not even playing attention as Domino walked in, taking a page out of his book as she plopped down on the edge of his desk.
He looked at her behind sitting on his papers, then glanced up at her. “Yo’ ass is on my stuff!”
She smiled, “And what are you going to do about it?”
He stared at her for another moment, then turned his attention back to his files. Domino could hardly believed that he had just past up an opportunity to sexually harass her. Things were more serious than she thought.
“Look Raheem, I know that you’re disappointed in how things have been going with Sid…so am I. I don’t want to give that bitch residuals and I don’t want to renew her goddamn show…but things seem to be headed in that general direction, wouldn’t you agree?”
Raheem slammed the papers down on his desk and looked at her. “So…what now? We roll over and let her just get everythin’ she fuckin’ wants?!”
Domino shrugged, “We hedge our bets for now. We aren’t getting any closer to getting her out of our hair…so we embrace the horror…for now. Trust me, an opportunity will present itself…sooner or later.”
Raheem sat back in his chair, considering what she said. “So…we make nice wit’ her ass until we see our chance?”
She smiled, “Until we see our chance.” She stood up and winked at him. “Cheer up Raheem…I sense a change in the air.”
Domino breezed back out, leaving him alone with his thoughts. He hated Sid…maybe more than anyone else on the planet. It pained him to see her avoiding their plans to do her in, but that is just what had happened…time and time again. Now…he had to concede defeat and that didn’t sit well with him…it didn’t sit well with him at all…
