[The camera fades into a child's play room in an unknown location.
The walls of this room are painted colorfully, there are painted red, green and orange balloons all over the place. There is a bright yellow sun painted with a sun smile on its face and beams of light jetting out in all directions filling up the light blue sky with fluffy white clouds. The bottom half of the room are shelves. Shelves filled with a number of stuffed animal monkeys, each of them are dressed in various ways and posed in various manners. There are even a couple of monkeys which hold drum cymbals in each of their hands poised ready to strike them together at any moment.
As the camera continues to pan back there is a single blue wooden chair sitting in the middle of this child's playroom which has one stuffed monkey dressed as a circus ringmaster sitting and staring at the camera. The monkey isn't real, it's stuffed, but it gives off an eerie vibe towards the camera, so much so that it seems at any moment the monkey is going to leap off of the chair and rip off your face. Because that's what monkeys do. The camera stops moving, the monkey continues to stare you down.
Then, it speaks in the voice is that of girl who sounds really young.]
MONKEY: Boo!
[The monkey doesn't move, the monkey doesn't leap off the chair at your face. It doesn't do any of that because it's a stuffed monkey. Instead, a girl with red, blue, green and yellow hair pops up, her face is painted of that of a creepy looking clown. Her mouth almost drips with the color red as it is smeared around her lips and up the side of her cheeks. Her eyes have vertically painted black lines and blue surrounding that even has some glitter smeared here and there. She is giggling, she is Diabolique. You can read that on her "Hello, I'm" sticker on her shirt.]
DIABOLIQUE: Got you! You thought the monkey was talking, didn't you? How in a million years could you ever possibly believe that? So silly!
Stabby-Face has a much lower voice than me!
Duh!
[After stickingi her tounge out at the camera after that one, she begins to chuckle again as she looks over towards the ringmaster dressed monkey in the chair and begins to nod her head.]
DIABOLIQUE: No, no, no Stabby-Face! I'm not the sidekick, you're the sidekick! You're such a silly monkey sometimes, I'm the sidekick.
What was that?
[Again she leans over towards the monkey she's calling Stabby-Face. She has a shocked look on her face as if the monkey just told her something extremely awful.]
DIABOLIQUE: Well that's just rude of you! You have not been participating in your Tuesday art therapy sessions, I see. We're going to have to make sure you pay more attention when Tuesday rolls around again. But for now, you're just going to have to participate in Friendly Friday!
Oh come on, you love friendly Friday! This week's theme is how to make new friends, I am going to try and make new friends with Alexius Stone. Sure, we're going to face each other, but that doesn't mean we can't give each other a big old friendly hug before that all happens, right?
[The monkey says nothing, at least nothing you can hear, but Diabolique sure seems to think he's saying something.]
DIABOLIQUE: What? She said what about me? Where did you hear this? Why did she say such horrible things about me when she didn't give us a chance to be friends first?!
[Her face sours, she looks angry even beyond the creepy make-up job.]
DIABOLIQUE: How rude of her! I can't believe she would say such things about me! Well, I'm going to push through no matter what, it's Friendly Friday darn it and I'm going to still try and be friendly about it. If Alexius Stone wants to be that way, I'm going to be the bigger person and still try to make friends.
Meanie.
For my Friendly Friday activity, I have choosen the sunflower as a token of my friendship towards my new friend. The middle represent the glow and warmth we feel when we make a new friend and the yellow petals represent the fingers reaching out for a hug be-- what? Why are you laughing Stabby-Face?
[She leans over again to hear what the stuffed monkey is saying. She then looks at the sunflower in her hands, and then back at Stabby-Face with a confused look. After a couple of moments she looks at the sunflower again and chuckles a little bit.]
DIABOLIQUE: You're right, it sort of does look like an exploding heart. No, I don't think that we should mention that we intend to make Alexius' heart do that, I don't think those are in the guidelines for Friendly Friday. When Friendly Friday is over then we talk about how fun it will be to tear her heart from her chest for the meanie things she has said about me.
What do you mean I just said that outloud?
You're a silly sidekick sometimes, Stabby-Face.
Uh huh, you're the sidekick.
[She sticks her tongue out at the stuffed monkey and then turns her attention towards the sunflower between the fingers of her hands. With a pluck from her hand she pulls one of the petals out.]
DIABOLIQUE: Alexius loves me.
[She plucks another one.]
DIABOLIQUE: She loves me not.
[She begins to pluck more and more. Each time, her face either smiles or frowns depending on if it is good or bad news.]
DIABOLIQUE: She loves me.
She loves me not.
She loves me.
She loves me not.
[Then the mood changes, her child like voice lowers a bit in the process as the camera focuses fully on the sunflower and the missing petals.]
DIABOLIQUE: She loves me.
She hates my guts.
She loves me.
I'm going to hurt her badly.
She loves me.
I'm going to make her scream.
[Her voice is wicked now, twisted from before. There are but only two petals left on the sunflower for her to pick.]
DIABOLIQUE: She loves me.
I'm going to eat her soul.
[That's it, no more petals to pick. The last one she crumbles between her fingers and drops to the ground in a mushy ball. A laughter begins it slowly turns from a low cackle to a child's giggle as the camera pulls back. Diabolique is laughing with her eyes closed holding the remaining center of the sunflower, then she suddenly stops.]
DIABOLIQUE: That makes me hungry. I could go for some ice cream, you coming Stabby-Face?
[With that she bursts forth from the chair and skips off leaving the stuffed monkey sitting there dressed like a ringmaster in its blue chair. We fade to black.]
