UZAI'S BLOG
There is no better feeling than to be needed…well, with the exception of being appreciated…more on that later…
For those of you who do not now me, my name is Uzai Kazama and I am a card carrying member of the now defunct United Sisters of Asia…or USA for short. USA was founded by my Mistress, Oni Kymiku Shinsuzuki to champion the cause of advancing awareness and equality of Asian women in the sport of professional wrestling. I, along with several other notable Asian women bought into this idea and we worked hard to show our dedication to the dream…unfortunately, like all causes and dreams they eventually give way to the causes and dreams of others. USA is dead…but so long as my Mistress draws breath, there is the very real chance that USA may one day be revived.
To that end, my Mistress now finds herself in Ladies All-Star Wrestling, competing against some of the best there is…but something about this whole thing seems wrong to me. Anyone who knows my Mistress as I know her…would find her recent words and actions incredibly confusing and out of place. Her moniker of Oni was not given…it was earned through deeds, blood, and broken bones. There are many women in this sport than fancy themselves to be so-called bad girls…but they pale in comparison to Oni…a woman with a thirst for violence and cruelty that is…or WAS unmatched.
Is this the doing of her older sister, Nyako? Is she turning my Mistress into a toothless paper tiger? I cannot allow this…even though my Mistress’s words would seem to speak to the contrary. She claims to have changed and is seeking a ‘better way’ of doing things. I know her TRUE nature…as does Nyako. Caging Oni is a temporary victory…keeping her caged…that is an impossibility!
As I said…there is no better feeling than that of being needed. I am sorely needed by my Mistress…only I am not yet appreciated. It disappoints me…but I know in the end it will all come together and I will help my Mistress to wake up from this fantasy that has been forced upon her! LAW has a demon in it’s midst…and I have to figure out how to unleash it. Once I do…LAW and everyone in it will burn…and I am going to enjoy every single minute of watching it!

Following LAW #11
27 July 2014
The night of LAW #11 had been a very eventful one for Uzai. His appearance in LAW had triggered a hailstorm of events, which continued to cause a ripple effect of unrest throughout the entire company. It all started with his interference in the match between Nyako and The Doc. This little bit of mischief had been seen by the masses…but he was far from being done.
As Oni and Nyako recounted their stories in the trainer’s room…
Oni detailed her run in with Maleek Raheem and how he had locked her in the closet to keep her from interfering in the main event on Sidney Grey’s behalf. Her retelling did not include the very particular point of how she escaped that predicament…

Earlier That Night
27 July 2014
{The cameras centered on Carmen Diaz as she walked the halls of the arena.}
Carmen Diaz: It’s been an absolutely GREAT night of action! With lots of twists and turns…but none have been more shocking than what happened during the match between Number 1 contender for The Law Championship, The Doc and newcomer, Nyako! That match was marred by interference…and I intend to get to the bottom of it!
{The camera panned back as Carmen approached the young Asian man who had gotten involved in the finish of the match between Nyako and The Doc and had been on the run from LAW security every since. He sifted through the food that was thrown across the floor from the table, which had been upended by Oni’s earlier tirade following her sister’s rejection of her help. Carmen cautiously approached the man, tapping him on the shoulder.}
Carmen Diaz: Excuse me!
{The man turned around with a mouthful of carrot sticks hanging out of his mouth. As he saw the camera, he spit them out and ran his fingers through his mop of greasy black hair, plastering a broad grin across his face.}
Carmen Diaz: The fans want to know who you are and why where you involved in the match earlier this evening?!
{The man stared at Carmen with a blank look on his face, then bowed to her, responding in Japanese. Carmen seemed confused by this and returned the bow.}
Carmen Diaz: Sir…would you mind answering my…
{The man continued to smile and bowed again, prompting Carmen to bow a second time.}
Carmen Diaz: Yes! Hello to you again…but I…
{The man chuckled as he bowed again, and Carmen followed suit, but abruptly stopped as she realized what was happening. She flushed with annoyance.}
Carmen Diaz: SIR! WE DEMAND TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!
{The man prepared to answer, but a series of loud thumps against an adjacent door and a volley of curses in Korean interrupted the exchange. The man ran to the door, yanking the chair from under the knob. The door suddenly burst open as Oni immerged, looking to be in a complete rage. The man’s face lit up as he saw her, but there was no mirth in her eyes. She grabbed the man and glared at him.}
Oni Kymiku: WHERE IS CRYSTAL HILTON?!!
{The man shook his head in response to her question, but Carmen had no problem answering.}
Carmen Diaz: Oni…that match is just now starting…but I have some…
{Oni shoved the man away from her, and pushed past Carmen with a look of utter rage on her face. Carmen started to follow Oni, but the man grabbed her arm and stopped her. Carmen turned and looked at him.}
Carmen Diaz: WHO ARE YOU?!!
{The man shoved a carrot stick into her mouth, and smiled. He opened his mouth to answer her question, but was forced to run off as LAW Security converged on him. The man bolted through the halls with the entire security team on his tail. Carmen pulled the carrot out of her mouth with a disgusted look on her face.}
Carmen Diaz: Was that on the floor?!!
This was the perfect example of Uzai’s usefulness to his Mistress…but it would not be the only one. Following the attack on Oni by the pair of women calling themselves Reality Bites, as she sat in the trainer’s room being evaluated, he had come there as well to see that she was all right. He had arrived a few minutes too late to hear what the trainer had to say about her condition, but in listening to the conversation between Oni and her sister, it was clear that he was not going to recommend that she compete on the next show…a match that had already been booked against Gabriella Camacho. While it was not that match that interested Oni, but the chance at getting her hands on Sidney Grey and Summer St. Clair, it was clear that she needed to be cleared in order to even have a chance.
As he stood there listening to the sisters, he heard the words of his Mistress…and they sounded to him as if they had come from the ‘Oni’ of old; ‘That Trainer is going to have to clear me to fight…if he doesn’t…’
Uzai knew what he had to do…no direct order was needed. Ensure that Oni was cleared…nothing else mattered.
Of course, that was until Nyako spoke up, insisting that Oni be checked out by a doctor and that she should in fact take the extra time she needed to heel. Oni spoke the words that said she brought in to all of this; ‘My sister is right...no need to rush in halfcocked. If the Trainer says I’m not ready…I’m not ready.’
Uzai found this confusing…but only for a moment. Things were becoming clearer to him all the time. It was like she was two people, sharing the same body. Kymiku, the timid little cow that followed her big sister and did everything that was expected of a child and then there was her true self…Oni…the one that really mattered. This made the choice clear…he knew what he had to do.
Uzai crept around the arena, avoiding security like James Bond. He shadowed the trainer that had been identified as ‘Steve’ as he went from place to place evaluating the talent and making his notes. As Uzai watched the man, he noticed how focused he was on his job…nothing deterred or distracted him. The other trainers milled about and gawked at the girls…relishing every chance they had to touch or interact with them.
Was it the fact that Steve was just all about his work or maybe he was in a committed relationship? It could have been either of those things…but Uzai listened to his instincts and they told him that Steve would have been different if this place was named MAW instead of LAW.
Uzai stalked Steve until he saw his chance…the man all alone inside the office, which had been set aside for him to generate his report to Management. Uzai slipped into the room and set his sights on doing the only thing that mattered…making his Mistress happy.
As Uzai closed the door behind him, Steve looked up attempting to ascertain who was disturbing him. “Can I help you find something?”
Uzai smiled, trying not to look creepy, as best he could. “I don’t know Steve…can you?”
Steve sat back from the computer, trying hard to figure out what was going on. “Do I know you?”
“No…not formally…but I have seen you around…” he lied, hoping his instincts were right. “…I really liked what I saw and I had hoped that if you and I ever got together, you’d like me as well.”
Steve gave Uzai a wary look. “Who put you up to this? It’s seriously not funny!”
His words were those of a man who was hiding in plain sight, always suspicious of being found out. He had confirmed everything that Uzai thought. He walked over and sat on the corner of the desk, giving Steve what he hoped was a smoldering look. “Does it look like I’m joking?”
Steve swallowed hard as he struggled inside himself. He didn’t want to be 'outted' by his co-workers, the ridicule…no matter how unfounded and ignorant, would be too much…but this young man was intriguing to him. He would kick himself if he passed up a chance to see if this was for real. “So…where is this place you think you saw me?”
‘DAMN!’ Uzai thought to himself…he’s a tricky little ducky. He might have panicked, but that wasn’t his style. He was smart, he was quick on his feet, and maybe more important…he was observant. “Lets just say…you’re not the only one who likes to boldly go where…not so many men have gone before…”
Steve stared at Uzai and it was apparent that this man actually had seen him before. Steve relaxed a bit…allowing a smile to touch his lips as his shoulders dropped a bit. “Okay…I guess you did see me…”
Uzai smiled back. He hadn’t seen Steve anywhere, but he had seen the class ring he was wearing. It was a pretty sure bet that Steve never graduated from Star Fleet Academy. Uzai sat forward, “How would you like to play Kirk to my Sulu?”
A few minutes later…and what Oni needed done was complete…though Steve wasn’t at all happy with it. He had gotten more than he bargained for out of their encounter and it wasn’t until he had seen the flash of Uzai’s camera phone that he became more compliant. The deal was simple…clear Oni to compete on the next show and in exchange, the picture he had taken of Kirk violating the Neutral Zone wouldn’t be leaked to the public.
As Uzai left the office, there was one more surprise in store. He ran right into none other than Maleek Raheem. Uzai didn’t know it, but he was also on a mission himself to find Steve. Had he been a few minutes earlier…he might have gotten a chance to fire off his phaser as well…though Raheem seemed like more of a fan of NCIS than Star Trek…just saying...
Nyako's Apartment
3 August 2014
My ribs are killing me as I sit on my sister’s couch, bored out of my mind…with no one to keep me company…
…no one except me, of course…
I get up and pace the apartment, looking out of the window ever now and again as I hope that Nyako is back from her run. It seemed to me like my sister’s life was nothing but one big training session…with the occasional meal and few hours of sleep sprinkled in to break up the monotony. I wanted to hate on her…but this was her passion and there were worst ones out there…
…I could show you a few, if you’d let me…
I envied the fact that Nyako would get to go into LAW #12 and compete…but more than that, I envied the fact that she would have the chance to face down Sidney Grey and Summer St. Clair. Those two women had made a mockery of things at the end of the show and in the end they had gotten the last laugh. That didn’t sit well at all with me. They needed to know that they couldn’t just do whatever they wanted to whomever they felt like doing it to…
…like you use to do…before you decided to be a human doormat…
In a way…it was good that I didn’t get cleared to go to LAW #12. What would be the point? To tempt fate by stepping into the ring injured against a powerful opponent like Gabby Camacho? To roam the halls until I found Grey and St. Clair…then what? Wag my finger at them and tell them to stop being such naughty girls? What would I REALLY do in my current condition…
…you would wrap your fist in barbwire and you’d make certain that the cameras were never able to capture another angle of their pretty little faces that didn’t have a hideous scar on it…
I clear my mind of those thoughts…I need not concern myself with them. I wasn’t cleared to go to LAW #12 anyway. My sister had told me to take my time and recover…and she was right…
BUZZ...BUZZ...BUZZ
I stare at the phone for a moment…something tells me not to check the message…I already know that it is bad news. Before I can stop myself, the phone is in my hand and I am reading the mail from LAW…and I am smiling, despite the news I’ve received…
…that’s me smiling sweetheart, please get it right…
I’ve been cleared to compete at LAW #12 after all…
